Loved the idea and the graphics. Kinda sad it was too short to really enjoy the mechanics ! Great job !

wow! this is a great entry! it looks great and makes fun! very well done! :)
There are a lot of things that weren't very well explained (such as why I have three classes, when they can all use any card seemingly). The negative cards also really didn't feel very punishing for the most part.
Combat felt really slow and wasn't very enjoyable.
The art was really well done! I love the style, and everything had a nice consistency to it! However, the sound really didn't seem to mesh well with it.
I think this could really be great with a bit of tweaking to the rules. Spend some time on a post-compo version with adjusted rules and see where it takes you. Make sure to get lots of outside playtesting feedback.
Love the graphics, they're stunning!
Art was great and the game had an interesting concept, but it was clunky to play and ended up not really making much sense what to do each turn.
Nice entry though!
Very clever mechanics and nice art. Sometimes the game felt buggy 'cause my clicks didn't work, but nothing too problematic.
Nice work!
Great name. Seeing a card game that is finished on jam is also nice. What's best is probably UI. It's meticulously crafted, I can see all relevant stats and the counter circle, everything is responsible and cool. Animations are also pretty nice. Something to point out is I can't see a difference between attacking with various characters (ex. using spiritual attack with both of my characters on the same enemy generated the same effect), but I could be missing something. To my mind, the approach to the theme is a bit too vague. Other than that, very well-made, complete entry.
I believe this game has a lot of promise. Brilliant graphics, okay music.
As for the gameplay... it's confusing (why 3 classes if they dont really matter), tedious (monsters shouldn't be healing all the times), random (if you draw 3 bad cards you have to play them all first, with all the healing enemies this is a game of endurance), weird (a card where you draw 2 cards and lose HP shouldnt be a green card but infrared, because a skip turn card is even better than that).
I agree with the previous poster this games needs a rule change, otherwise it would be a shame to waste such nice art.
The art of the game is polished and beautiful. And I liked the choice of a digital card game for a jam!
A arte do jogo está polida e bonita. E gostei da escolha de um card game digital para uma jam!
Great art and mechanics.
Found it a bit odd that all characters could cast the same attacks regardless of class. The art and UI was extremely well done though; would be great to see this expanded with a more in-depth ruleset.
Beautiful game! I just got a little bit bored because it was too much random and the classes really didn't mean anything. Overall, nice job!
it's sooooooooooo cute!! oh congratulation! Nice art! Can I follow it also on indiexpo? Do you have also a page there? This looks great! I looked for the games that used the #LDJAM but I don't find yours. So good luck!! I will hope to make a video about it!
I can't imagine this won't place high for graphics--beautiful design. (BTW, our team also did a card based dungeon game.)
This is a very beautiful game. The selection of the cards seems a bit buggy though. Very good LD entry. Congratulation to you.
Now this is a polished game! There's not even anything I could point out that was done better than the rest. Everything about this is awesome, really nicely done guys!
I second all of the feedback complimenting how polished the game is! The team did an excellent job establishing a cohesive atmosphere. I didn't exactly get a good feeling for how the theme was presented in the game, but I somewhat understand the intent (of picking up and being forced to use more negative-consequence cards the more you have). Great job overall!
Very nice graphics
Lovely graphics, from the best i've seen so far! The theme connection was there, but not too evident, and the gameplay felt solid, balanced and it was nicely paced.
Awesome job!
Wow! That's a really impressive amount of polish for a jam game! The visuals are stunning, the concept feels well thought-out, and the gameplay is quite fun! Excellent work, I hope to see this one turn into something more :)
Incredbly polished for a ludumdare, nice to see you are updating it since the jam!
That is the best graphics and audio that I have seen so far. Amazing work on everything on the art front. My main complaint would be about the gameplay itself, too often it felt like I didn't really have any choices. Often I would only have three cards in a round, and it wouldn't matter which of my three did which card. I think there needs to be some more ways to add more cards to your hand to add a little more strategy. All too often it felt like there would only be a single correct choice, or I would just lose a battle due to luck of the draw. Again though, wonderfully done.
The one thing that would've completely made this game for me, one button that dumps all of your cards (Enemy gets a free hit) and I get 5 new ones. Instead I found myself dealing 0 damage over and over again because the cards just weren't coming up for me.
First of all, really cool game, in all aspects. These are just a few of my comments:
Pros: Love the visuals, so polished and pretty animations Base Gameplay is simple and cool, love a good ole rock paper scissors formula. Pack based gameplay allows for replayability
Cons: Audio is a bit repetitive after a while. Gameplay is grindy (too many rounds to kill a single healing enemy with low positive damaging abilities) and "unfair" since the "draw" happens at "what seems to be random" (it probably isn't but it feels like that)
I accidentally played the updated version first, and was blown away by it. Then I realized I played the wrong version and tried the LD version. It's definitely not as polished but it's still very impressive! It seems that in the update version you were able to ditch the theme based "more cards are worse" idea, which is a good concept for a deck-builder game but it's also annoying if you can't get rid of those cards. And there's a lot more clarity about what to do. Still the graphics and ui are very polished for a jam game and it's a great concept. I enjoyed it and I wish you good luck with the post-jam version!
The graphics are great, but the combat was dull enough to compensate :/
I don't know how to balance it to make fights go faster while still being challenging, but as-is, it's a real slog.
Yea, I think the music was kinda of repetitive and the gameplay a bit slow and dull. But hey! Your graphics are great, you have a boss and a new game plus! I haven't seem a single game with new game plus yet!
REALLY polished UI, graphics, and animation on the release! I found the gameplay really fun as well, it was straightforward and you feel like you can get good at it really quickly.
nice work! looking forward to future jams
