This is a really well put together game. The art is beautiful and the game has a perfect balance of challenge vs. satisfaction. I love the fact that you die in a single shot, it makes the gameplay so much clearer.

Brilliant pixel art and music. All the assets blend really well together with the theme. But: I found it extremely hard to dodge the projectiles. If the background would scroll at about 1/3 of the screen, I think it would improve it by a great amount. Overall, very well done!
Man, what a great game this was! The only main issues I have with the game would be that it feels like there are too many buttons -- I feel as though it would have been better if your gun reloaded automatically instead of having to have an entire button dedicated to it. The button to reset the game after you die (F2) could have also probably been mapped to the mouse button, but that's just a nitpick. The difficulty was something that took a bit to get used to, but once I did I have lots of fun. Fantastic job.

Holy crap 5 Stars! This game was absolutely amazing. I love everything especially the graphics and the game feel. It was pretty difficult with a trackpad, and I'm sure you already know that F2 to restart is a weird choice, especially on mac.

Great game idea ! Really hard because ennemy bullets are a bit too fast; but love the idea of having regular passengers disturbing you during your run. It can be an idea for a great game, if you decide to punish more the player for innocent kills. Theme is well respected and graphics are awesome ! Well done guys

This game is awesome. IIRC you have 4 people in your team, and this is a huge work for 72-hour jam. Seriously, soundtrack, art, sounds.

Awesome art. Enemy projectile speed is CRAZY, I don't know if it's intended like that or if I happen to encounter some kind of bug but it makes the game almost unplayable :(

A hard as it needs to be to be really interesting.
I don't know if you noticed but you can still fire when reloading that makes the reload a little obsolete as you just have to shoot one bullet start reloading while shooting the rest of your bullets.
WAY TO HARD! But the game is perfect! Really the graphics the music the gameplay the fun and theme also :) The main character is like from Broforce XD And that's easteregg *cough* IDDQD *cough* The best entry i've seen so far. Good Luck

The art is fantastic, the animation is flawless. I felt the mechanic or recharging a little hard and the enemies aim is perfect, but it's enjoyable anyways.

The tiny sprite animations are unusually fluid and characterful. Great work. The F2 screen is also very amusing. I saw it frequently.

Now most of all, there is 1 little problem you forgot about: French people ---> Azerty keyboards.
You didn't add the arrow keys in the controls, and even if you did, arrow keys + "R" key for reload would be a problem (the keys are too far appart and they can only be reached with 1 hand because the game uses the mouse). It's extremely important to take that into consideration in a game that's quite punishing: one hit = instant kill. If I have to dodge the enemy bullets but that I have to chose btween not being able to use the "up" key OR having to twist my hand to do so, well... it'll lead me to play just 2 minutes instead of 20 so its a shame.
You should fix this! French people are worth it! They are cool! Heck, I should know!

Amazing game, I love it, cute pixelart, and great gameplay. The only downside is that you can't play in full screen, but other than that it's awesome.

Incredible as always. Fun, beautiful and very hard. Didn't expect less from you guys though.
It plays like puzzle though - you have to learn enemy patterns and move one enemy at a time to win this little masterpiece.
Great art! But why so hard? It's almost unplayable(for me). Other than that, it has the potential to be a great game. Maybe a healthbar for taking extra hits or extra lives? I liked the crowd getting in the way. Maybe getting punished for shooting them would be a nice addition.

Graphics are great as always. Really love your pixels. Music is also pleasing. I think the most challenging way to play this game is a pacifist mode. You just roll forward, fans can't catch on you. Enemies simply don't run after you. One of the coolest game so far.

Awesome graphics, guys! This is a really beautiful game. Good job on the songs, too. The controls are very smooth ans easy to get into. My main issue is the one hit kill, which I find too harsh. I could not enjoy the game the way I thought I would be. Solid entry!
This is game is super hard but fun. Move around fast enough, because the first hit will kill you.
Extremely hard! I wanted to play the game but the difficulty turned me off. Game balance is an important aspect of game design and one hit kill with a game this fast is a bad decision. Good job on every other aspect of the game that I got to see though :)
Gameplay wise, pretty decent. The crowd was very annoying though. I know it's part of the game but it feels more annoying than challenging. I like how you die with 1 bullet. At first i didn't know i can roll. So the game was fun. Too bad the crowd just broke the experience for me. Could've been better making it on other aspect imo. Really like the other gameplay though.

Pros:
- TOP NOTCH sprite work - Fun and addictive as hell - Funny (When the baddies blow themselves up its really great... also I spent the first 30 seconds killing civilians and being like ' what is this game?... Also I was unsure whether I should shoot the cameraman so I shot him every time. It felt bad but also good. ') - Inventive use of theme
Cons: - Its tough. This isnt inherently bad but I think maybe the ratio or FOV could be changed a bit-- My instinct when playing a skill based action game like this is to barrel through but the optimal strategy for me was to memorize where the baddies were coming from and reload between dudes. That way I could just DUMP bullets. I think it might work better if I could see them coring from further away and then memorization wouldnt be as key.
All in all this is magnificent. Great work.

Suuuuper tight! We had a very roughly similar idea about too many people appreciating you, although very different approach ha ha. And ours ended up as a side scrolling shooter too, (although we only decided to do that on the last day). Anyway, amaaaazing art, style and gameplay as usual. love it!!
Fantastic sprites and explosions! It Looks great, but I keep getting slaughtered very quickly because there isn't enough look ahead and my memory isn't all that great.
Nice game, best 2d graphic and music in the games i played so far! But it's tough, i cant even pass through the game, so i dont even know does the fans dead cause any of penalty? Even though i'm a super cop but i've to play as carefully as i can, i'm not sure the mood is compatible with the mechanics, anyway, well done!
Always a fan of your guys' games. They always have a unique idea and feel to them. In general there aren't too many games that utilize a "groupie" mechanic so this was cool.
Superb art, nice music, the gameplay is efficient and the following crowd is a very nice idea. It's also nice to have an "easier mode". Well done guys!

Really great! I love the concept and the art, probably one of the best takes on the theme I have seen so far. Quite punishing on hard though, easy-peasy is definitely the play mode for me!
best game so far. though on mac os i could not choose easy mode in the web gl version. when i hover over the checkbox i get my default cursor. maybe this is also the way of telling me, that easy mode is for pussies :P

This game is really hard or I am just getting too old :D Had to turn it to easy mode (thanks for the option btw). Took me some time to figure out that rolling makes you invulnerable and that spam shooting is actually viable. The take on the theme is interesting but does not seem to be a major game mechanic but more a nice gimmick.
That said, this is one of my favorites this jam so far :)

This is an insanely polished game, very impressed by the visuals and audio! I found it quite tough but felt engaged to keep retrying anyway.
Wow this game was good. Agree that some enemies might appear too quickly to reasonably react to, but with the included easy mode, I cleared it first try no problem.
I love the Gears of War style timed reload minigame, but I'd put it perhaps over the crosshairs instead because that's where I'd have my eyes most of the time in order to see incoming bullets I need to dodge.
Also, I don't feel any incentive really to save the civilians, they annoy me more than anything by getting in the way... In a way it almost felt good to see them being mowed down, and I'm not completely sure that's a good thing.
I'm 99% sure this is my favorite entry this LD. Amazing job!
Fantastic music! The art is exceptional too. I appreciate the brutal one-hit-kill difficulty and even though I fumbled a lot with the controls, it felt like it was my fault when I died. Anyway, astonishingly polished, really great work.
Browser version framerate crawled a bit for me here and there, but not surprising with so many entities on screen.

Wow! What a punishing game. I played it for about 30 mins now and was not able to finish it, but it's just so addictive! I first played the web version and downloaded the original ludum dare version afterwards, mostly because I couldn't believe how you were able to put out such a polished game in such a short time (and for ratings of course)! ;P I found the dodge mechanic to be more punishing than helpful most of the time because it restricts you in one direction. When I killed that machine gun guy the first time I though "nice that one dropped a weapon" and was kind of dissapointed :P but other than that a really nice game, will definitely come back to finish it!
I also had some hard times playing it on windows because of the forced windowed mode, but I see you got that allready fixed! thanks for the great game!

Super fun and polished game. Loved it. Specially like how challenging it was. On my first few tries I only managed to survive a couple of seconds.
There's just three small issues I noticed. There's no feedback for the roll cooldown, the quick reload feels a bit unresponsive and I think the "game over" screen should contain your highscore.
But that's pretty much all, fun and polished. Super solid entry.
