Played with gamepads - it was really fun! Loved the physics and ground bumping, ahaha
Graphics are very cool, animation is smooth.
Wish there was more two player modes.
Fun game, guys!

Fun game, guys!
##### First thoughts Bloody hell, is this actually an LD entry? It's impossible to reach such level of polished gameplay in 72 hours, ~~it's over nine thousand~~!
Found your game on itch.io in the similar tags to our game. Was not easy to find your ldjam page (please add link to this page in itch.io description) to throw all stars at your ratings.
Now about gameplay. It's crazy cool. Everything has so much sense. It's like I played in my old, favorite game. But it was a new experience at the exact same moment. Super cool.
##### Art Whoever of you guys drew them pixel - give that man a medal. Sprites are so clear and classy. I am 100% jealous.
##### Audio Groovy bass and some light melody - everything you need for a city builder. Music right in harmony with gameplay. And every player interaction with the world is also sounding very fitting.
##### Overall Your "Little Lands" is just amazing. Played it myself, recommend to friends.
Great job, Robin and Billy!
I love me some RTS. Sad how it is a dying genre at our days. And one of the reason for that, in fact, because it's clearly not easy to innovate and polish.
But I see very interesting ideas in this game.
@epicsoft, you know the game is not perfect, I know that too. But it's Ludum Dare and it's not about making The Best Game Of All Time. It's all about making your own game. And you did it and it's your little creation!
So, thank you
##### First thoughts What the hell is going on? Why all my vegan dolphins flew away from the waterworld:tm:?
Does not understood mechanics, but had a fun time destroying the worlds anyway. If only there was more cards. ##### Art At first I didn't liked cliched planet-in-space style, but after a couple of catastrophic cards (oh, and cards art - totally loved it) I changed my opinion on quite opposite.
As I understood by the stars in the background - the world's falling straight in hell. Sad!
##### Audio The music felt happy on the first minutes, but then I started to noticing some dark motives. And this absolutely worked for me on the mood of the game.
##### Overall Actually it was a very hilarious chaos generator.
Awesome job, guys!
Yeah, I've 'died' because of keys too. But it's fine (could've been cooler if there was some strikes system or something). I think I'm just not a good bartender
Anyway, the art direction, as said above is super great. Very vibrant. And black figures reminded me about Beholder.
Obviously there's some bugs in UI (like dialogue text not appearing), but the game as it is looks very complex and cool for an LD entry.
Hope you'll release post-LD version!
Art and audio are super great! Loved that cheeky pinky ball of purr
But I don't understood how the mood works. Except that, the game is great.
Good job! :)
Everything is super cool about your game except the lack of more gameplay. How I wish there's more!
Vexels are beautiful, audio is great too.
Solid foundation for a great game
Played it on a gamepad - had to control camera with a mouse.
Graphics are very fresh, but I think it would be prettier with less black shadows (I know it's space, but it's hard to see a surface sometimes).
The tune was very pleasant.
Thank you for such a nice game!

Thank you for such a nice game!
When I played your game I just imagined that boats was langoliers. That's why they was eating my world.
It was challenging to play with a laptop touchpad, but I made it to ~1200 points.
Fun game, addictive gameplay
##### First thoughts It's turtles all the way down!
At first I didn't knew if it was a good thing to send your fellow onturtlers straight in to the abyss, but then I became a bloody mass murdering genocidal maniac. And I loved it! :smiling_imp:
Gameplay-wise it might be more reasonable to have a static camera view to show all the turtle-land.
And I also double @robber 's idea of turn based skirmish.
##### Art The turtle is incredible! Loved colors and was really exited by all the tiny details - hills and lakes, rocks and trees.
Tribesmen are way too cute, loved them and felt a little horrible killing them
##### Audio Main theme is gorgeous! It adds so much epicness to the cuteness of the world and that mix creates exceptional atmosphere.
##### Overall Add some more levels and a couple of different tribesmen types and sell this baby all the way up.
It's an A+, guys.
Super fun game. Could've been cooler if arrow keys worked as move controls too (not everyone using a qwerty keyboard).
Really loved color palette, is there only 6 colors? Anyway, looks dope as funk.
Gameplay-wise the game is challenging and for the genre it's great!
Great entry, guys
As @mgoadric said, it was hard for me to finish level 3 - the guy doesn't 'burst on click' straight after teleportation, so you have to step one tile away and burst (yeah, you can move by one tile and bursting have a two tiles radius).
But after I understood how the game works it was enjoyable to finish all puzzles.
Game was fun, thank you!
Top notch idea you've got here
Wished there were more levels, but as a showcase of idea this is cool too.
There's one more bug - when I've entered a laser tile the on switch wasn't glowing. And I've moved block away, then moved it back and moved it away once again and switch stopped turning off. Hope you've understand me.
Your game got great potential!
##### First thoughts The game totally works in every plane - visuals, audio, gameplay. There's nothing to add and nothing to take away. I was very immersed. Puzzles made my gears spin, sometimes grind. But the atmosphere kept me playing.
##### Art Visuals are just astonishing. That ultra-violet style sells game only by one screenshot. Particle effects are on point, as all those simple, but very fitting animations.
In other words - I liked the graphics very much!
##### Audio It's perfect. Minimalistic and unobtrusive music accompanied by gentle effects. Gosh, it makes me jealous!
##### Overall This game is solid ten out of ten. Or five out of five LD wise.
@dgspitzer, thank you for such great game!
##### First thought
Oh, man, I'm kind of a slowpoke to press buttons on time and felt a little bit anxious. But I think if you'll add a little rhythmic element (something like rock band or crypt of the necrodancer) the game would be super dope.
I've thought of naming the pillars by the bottom key on a keyboard. The first pillar should be labeled 'x', the second one - 'c', etc.
##### Art Heard some people call this subgenre of pixelart _the bit art_. It's fresh and distinct, but sadly not many people understands it. But I like it all the way and especially I loved cat animations. Catimations, if you like.
##### Audio Liked the tune, it looped very well. But some more sfx could be useful. Pitch-shifting noise of pressed buttons. Or cats meows.
##### Overall
Gameplay was quite innovative, visual and audio aesthetics felt equable.
@jeremy-ryan, nice job!
**P.S.** There's a bug (or a feature): you can't close the game by clicking on the cross, only ESC key works.
Thank you guys! :hugging: @stratoskakalis @nardandas @chin-jieh I've re-eanabled humor rating, sorry for inconvenience! @chin-jieh yeah, it's a bug. Funny how Doc say that you must press f to skip his dialog, but he's lying in your face. :joy:
@voxel well, at least it's not about schizophrenic immigrant who must make pennies on a dirty low-paid job to pay his medical bills because he can't afford no insurance :worried:
Arf! I mean pretty pretty cool mechanics. But bouncing bullets could've been explained a little earlier with a bit more polished level design. Music and sprites are top notch. Very appealing.
Graphics are great as always. Really love your pixels. Music is also pleasing. I think the most challenging way to play this game is a pacifist mode. You just roll forward, fans can't catch on you. Enemies simply don't run after you. One of the coolest game so far.
Really liked rolling guy and a valuable life lesson that the game teaches you - if you'll eat to much you will be flatten by the giant meatball.
Wow, guys! This is actually great for the first game. Core gameplay is very intuitive and fun, but a little rebalance could help make the game even more enjoyable.
I love that our games may take place in the same game-verse.
Cheers!
Very nice nostalgic visual style. Reminds me of my old toy from GDR.
Gameplay itself is highly polished for a compo entry, loved head-to-head rule instead of a classic tetris one.
Great game, cheers!
I've really wanted to play this zombie love-drama, but controls do not respond at all.
No response
**fixed**
@chaotikza thank you! This kind of sneaky last-minute bugs are probably one of the nastiest.
There is definitely place for improvement, but it's a cool fresh idea of combining a tower defence with a turn-based rogue-like mechanics. Loved it!
At first I though that six packs were shotgun shells. Those could've been very handy.
Nice touch with gradual change in drowning tiles, but one touch == death felt too hardcore. Restorable *security armor* could decrease difficulty and add more variety in pickups (green vest or something).
By the way - great doom-like aesthetics.
@pranjalbisht @kornel I'm sorry, I've run out of time to add any in-game clarification on how to play.
You can wake other colonists. To do so select "ctrl system" and click on any cryochamber.
>is scrapping the only way to get metal
Yes, scrapping is the only way to get more metal, therefore you're running out of space (also meteors destroying segments of a ship).
I will definitely write a manual after I get me some sleep.
@hi-irie I absolutely agree with your point on UX, gamer should know what a thing will do without reading too much. But the time limit of the Jam didn't let us implement more understandable way of interacting with the game. I hope players can forgive us that.
@shess Thank you for your feedback, Shess. It's very satisfying to know you've created an enjoyable game experience for someone.
@pranjalbisht I'm very happy that you've managed to win! And by the way - you could reach the planet with your engines disabled/destroyed solely with inertia. But this is the longest, most extreme way of colonising. Feeding your engines with your sleeping crew members through bioreactors matrix-style is way more fun.
What a lovely brain candy this game is. Great old school aesthetics, smart level design.
Awesome game, as always!
Great work with limited colours, nice animations. I like the mood of mysterious lands up high in the sky, so this game resonated with me.
Gameplay-wise everything seems solid, game mechanics really emphasise theme.
But I think the wooden platforms are falling way too fast (or maybe I'm too slow).
Молодцы!
Amazing low-polies, funny story!
The lesson here is, folks: talk to each other, it's better for the environment.
PS: UI's not scaling on retina displays, I think that's a bug.
Great art, loved the boyos. But I've felt that I was struggling with the controls and not with the game. I know it will change the gameplay, but maybe try drag'n'drop? This way the game could become really fun experience on phones/tablets.
Ha! I've opened the door with a key, who would've thought that such mundane thing could feel so heroic.
Really loved the art direction, it helped me to feel mental uniqueness of the protagonist.
Wonderful!
Nice old-school puzzle, but sometime it's not very clear what drive sends what.
Honestly, this game requires only one vital feature to become 100% complete - online catalog with user-generated and user-rated levels.
> every time you get touched the darkness get closer
Oh, my!

I liked the art style, really makes Lovecraftian atmosphere, liked the gameplay, it keeps on tension. Wish there were more of this things.
Oh, wow, no wonder people say that great minds think alike! Isn't it lovely how we had this exact idea of diminishing *space* of a *space* ship, haha.
First time playing I've ejected all the modules! And found a bug - "go back to sleep" button isn't working. Or may be I didn't understood something.
Overall, it's a fun and stressful experience to save and repair the only place that separates you from endless vastness of the space.
Hahaha, you can't play this game without a smile!
Incredible visuals, very funny.
Now I know why people love games like "Euro Bus Simulator".
It was hard to play on a touchpad, but the character controls felt good. Even though this is a horror-like game, I wish there were more bullets.
Dudes, this is super good game for the first entry! You've managed to make something beautiful, playable and meaningful. Of course there's bug, but overall you did great!
Loved your level design. Even though the difficulty rose maybe a little bit too fast, everything was understandable and enjoyable on hardcore-level of fun.
Thank you for your game, Nam!
@nam-nguyen to be honest - it's always hurts a little bit to see how people failing to understand your game. But that's a part of the fun!
Controls felt a little bit wonky, but other than that the game feels very nice.
I'm not that good at platformers, so I actually want to know - are there really so many achievement that they hide all the screen? Wow! And is there's achievement for the pacifist run?
Omg, you've made an incredible game! Great pixel art, love your work with lines.
You probably know this, but there's a jump bug, sometimes adventurer stucks on a tile and can't jump over a void tile.
Haha, funny game! I wish you've enabled audio rating - you've got a 5-stars farts!
@travis-carlen hey there, don't lose heart - to create any game in jam is fun in itself and the next time it'll be even more fun, because, I'm sure, you've learned so much. And thank you for your kind words!
@trypants thank you! :flushed:
@musicblox great analysis, thank you. Actually, at first I thought that it might be an interesting point for a player to represent "nothing" in the game. Something like "The Nothing" in the neverending story.
@travis-carlen whoopsies, my brain's a little bit melted after compo, sorry!
@zuf yeah, that's one of those bugs that just fly over your head and can be easily fixed, if only I've noticed it on time. Thank you very much
@arielle-stroman oh, I'm flattered and happy to know that you've liked the game, I've put a lot of effort in it in hope that it'll be fun to play.
Actually, to be compared with one of the GOAT games is the highest praise for me, and I'm not talking about Minesweeper (sorry, flag-sticking fans).
This really means a lot for me, Arielle, thank you!
@squimmy yeah, I had to scrap a lot of ideas to finish it on time, so I had to go with the simplest solution - just counting tile.
Many thanks for your ideas and kind words, I appreciate it :fist:
Duude, link's broken rn
My dudes, this game is rad - I've impressed that Bird person, even though there were no toilet in the house
Cool as always, guys!
Great idea and execution. Very funny!
Beautiful palette, interesting gameplay idea - wish you had more time to test and fix some bugs. But if you ask me - I don't mind controls, after a while you'll adapt.
I'm in awe how polished your game is and how you've managed to add so much visual variety. I really dig (ha!) the dark level - so old-school, so cool.
One of the coolest games I've played so far and, probably, in the future.
Great game, Jasper!
Dude, your game is intense, I wish real fishing was that hardcore. I have strong feeling about how unforgiving and unfair hitboxes are, but actually that's pretty neat - some games should make you feel heated.
Wow, very unique experience, I've felt nostalgic and happy playing this - it's definitely an all-fiver.
Perfect learning curve, minimalistic, clean graphics and clever mechanics - this game is excellent! Great job, @zuf
I've only made it past 4, 'cause my brains are melting after compo, sorry, ahah.
P.S. I can clearly see your game played on a phone, so player can go back later after thinking on new mechanics.
Ahah, your game is kinda wonky experience, but in a fun way. Never have I ever been so much engaged in a "idle" game. And the cheese moons put a genuine smile on my face :)
After two days of intense coding I felt like home in your game - all those functions and numbers, you know, ahah.
I know that it doesn't matter now, but I've got an idea - add '--help' for each command to describe mechanics and decrease game's entry threshold.
