Everyone seems to be loving your game so I'll make this short. I'm bringing this game on a usb wherever I go now.

Beep Boop Boop Beep?? I still don't know. Your game was really fun to play, but I think the elements in the game didn't synergize with each other. It doesn't seem like a big deal because I only noticed that after I turned off the game. However, I think this game could be way better if you figure out a way to make the elements work together. Good Job!!
I was super impressed that there are two types of gameplay in a one-man 48 hours game. The music fits the atmosphere nicely. But frankly, the game mechanics were a bit too hard to understand. Although having the tutorial was better than having no tutorial at all, I thought having the whole game mechanic tutorial in one take was too much information. But I'm pretty sure that this problem wouldn't have appeared if you had more development time. I would like to retry the game when the tutorial gets optimized. Keep me in touch for more updates!
Also, PiP has been updated and can be found here https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/$19665 but no new content was added as there were technical difficulties(more info at the bottom of the page.) so there's not a need to go and replay the game. I just thought I'd keep you in touch. Good Luck!
The art and audio was great. The game mechanics was fun to play with. But the movements were a bit buggy.
235! Fun game. 4 minutes well spent. But One thing I didn't quite get. What's a generator do in this game??
It took a while to understand what happened in the end but once I figured it out I was quite mindblown. The artwork was very stylish and professional. Overall, Great!!
Hi I really liked the battle system. And I liked how the first character had a pattern and I thought other characters were going to have distinctive patterns as well but I was quite disappointed to find out that other characters had a stat difference and not much more. At that point the battle system became a bit a boring for me. I think it would be lot more exciting if you could choose in the settings your combat speed. The speed of the game showing the damage and token one by one makes the game a bit loose. But the battle system was very interesting and I believe it could get better with distinctive patterns of the characters you face. Good Luck! Oh and the narrative dialog was very well written as well.
I loved it! I'm ashamed to say that I cheated on some levels.. but I loved the story(cute and funny), the music and the art.
I loved the narrator. The game is very polished. I'm now curious how the story will continue. Let me know if there's an update!
the little physics you implemented makes the world more lively. I also enjoyed the freedom in this game. Of course there's a basic goal but you can play your spores anywhere you like. The mini tutorial within the game made it easy to understand the controls. Overall a great game! Good Luck!
Oh right, and we did manage to make the transition time shorter, and movements less sluggish. More levels weren't added though due to technical difficulties. More info is at the bottom of this page! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/$19665
The whole game being inside a suitcase was somewhat satisfying. The graphics were great. Some music and sound would have been good. Great job!
I loved the artstyle. One of the best I've seen so far here. The gameplay was a bit loose for me but it might be because I didn't fully understand how to play the game.
The graphics were nice (especially the water) I know there wasn't a goal. But finding out the interactions was fun enough, and most of it made sense!! wind breaking mountains and rocks and such. Great entry!!
Please make this longer and put it up somewhere so that I can buy it. This is some top-notch dialog, humor and voice acting you got here. I really really liked all the characters. Great Job!! (But seriously. Please make more)
I think I remember another game with the same story of pluto seeking revenge. But the gameplay was quite distinct. Fun game.
P.S. vape nation~!!
I had fun playing this with my team. One frequent reaction was that they didn't feel like they had control over anything and that there was too little of an angle the planet survives in. A bit more touch on the gravitational pull and shoot force would make this a more skill based game in my opinion. Overall, the atmosphere was very nice with the spiritual art and the music. And it's nice to see a one cpu-multiplayer game. The controls you came up was very nice(The mouse was way more easy though...). Good Luck!!
Three things that I think would make this game better.
1. Less lag, like everyone's talking about.
2. Better controls. I didn't quite understand why there weren't any controls to look sideways. A simple 'A' and 'D' to look around or the classic mouse control would have been nice.
3. Some danger features to make the game more intense. Maybe monsters, or a higher point block that is positioned in a hard to get place so that it's a risk for more points. However, if the calm peaceful mood is what you are aiming for, this suggestion wouldn't quite fit in.
Not much to play, but I'm looking forward to how this game develops!
Hilarious game. My face hurts from all the smiling. Interactions with the world(Windows breaking etc) was a good stress relieving element. This is one of my highest rated game. Great job and Good luck!! I hope to see more chapters, interactions and gameplay!
Very polished game. The blinking indicating that the munch mode was almost over was a very pleasing mechanic in my experience whereas many games shift without a warning and that becomes the reason for a death. I can see this game going viral in the playstore if you ever get to make a android build.
Here's my petty highscore. Yay.png
A great game. The lighting and the bouncing block physics made your game look complete even with the simplest mesh. And the elements in the game were presented in a well thought out order that I had no trouble figuring out what everything does. For a team who also make a puzzle game, we respect your work. Good Luck!
It felt more like a control based game than a puzzle game. I think a bit of texture is needed to know how far a object is. The Idea was quite refreshing, and I'm curious how this will develop.
PS. the option was very thoughtful.(maybe a crosshair color choice would have been nice as well.)
I played my first try without knowing the shoot and roll key. I know I'm the sucker for not reading, but I just thought it'd be nice to have the controls engraved on the first planet of the game because I think there will be a lot of people like me considering that the controls are written in a greyish color that doesn't really stand out. Other than that, I think it was a fun game. Good luck!
I liked the idea but I might need better understandings at how things work. The game felt a bit too fast paced for me. I think I would have liked it even more if I could have time to think and play things out strategically. But I enjoyed playing it nonetheless. Great job!
The graphics were nice and the death physics and tutorial was well made. However like everyone is saying in the comments,(and I know you already acknowledge this problem, but I had to point it out...) the walls were a bit to close to the planets. In this game the thrust is weak so you must have momentum, but the close walls don't give you enough space for you to jump to other directions. Maybe a border, where you have a warning saying 'Danger, 5 seconds to return to safety zone' would have been nice too. Other than that, the game felt really sturdy. Good luck!
I... need some tutorials... sorry, I couldn't see where my actions were taking me and I lost interest fast. I really want to play the games of the ones who commented on our game to the fullest. Could you maybe tell me the mechanics of the game on my game page?? I promise I'll come back and re-rate the game.
I'm back. I think the main reason I was having a hard time was because of the UI. I didn't quite catch the difference between a +4 and a 4 whereas(if I understood correctly...) a +4 means it will gives you 4 of that resource and 4 means it requires that much. +4 and 4 might look like a big difference here, but in the game I was concentrating on the numbers that I didn't quite catch the meaning of the UI(but I think it's just my bad now that I think of it). Additionally, I think it should be mentioned early in the game that mana is gained each turn and I think it would be nice to show how many mana you will receive next turn. Other than that, I was amazed at how much work was done on this game in 3 days. And knowing the basic mechanics, I enjoyed the game more than I thought I would. Great Work Guys!
The art was simple but polished, the controls were nice. The gameplay was fun, but there were just so many trip that I had to take considering how slow the ship is. 4 trips of lemon? bareable. 4 trips of water? bit of a hassle but sure. But 4 trips of ice felt like 8 trips considering how you have to visit 2 planets. But a cute concept nonetheless. Good Luck!
Well, I never thought I'd be saying this to a game where a baby kills a doctor with his umbilical cord which he cut off with his own teeth but... I liked it!! 5 stars on Humor. Good luck!
@alex-lutay Thanks for playing our game! We are planning on fixing that bug in the future update!
@lennart-jansson Thanks for playing and writing this long helpful feedback. The sluggish button input derives from the need to NOT push a block while just facing it so that you could enter the block without actually moving anything around. However, I too think maybe such a sluggish input should only be true when pushing a block. We will take every inch of your feedback into consideration and try to make our game better. Thank you once again.
@macro Thanks for playing the game. We will keep working on it. By the way, did you make a game this dare?? I try to play all the games of the ones who commented, but I just couldn't get your page loaded completely.
@xxdoombox Ah, the afterbirth guy! I still remember it due to it's funny concept and cute art. Thanks for playing the game. We'll leave a comment on your page after we refine the code and upload it on itch.io. It pleasing to see support on the graphics and the music as well. It was actually our first time making music by ourselves and we really liked what we ended up with. Thanks and bravo to you too!!
I love the graphics and the fact that the map corresponds with my actual keyboard! Good Luck!
This game was a ton of fun and I loved how there was a lot of parts to evolve into. I think you surely know how to design a good game(I mean, you even made Plants vs Zombies...). Great job and Thank you for submitting this game.
The game was hard from the start but it wasn't so hard that I got frustrated and quit, and I could feel myself getting better every try. I had loads of fun playing this game. The graphics were so well made and the sound effects really fitted in. Great job!!
Nice game. I didn't quite get the 'Are you a programmer' part it means I failed, right?
It's simple but really fun to play. And a suggestion on a more advanced gameplay from me would be having the ability to boost left and right for a fixed amount of speed by double clicking the arrow button. Good Luck!
Very well made. I loved the gameplay and I did manage to win in the end! But the sound when you click on the map is too high and it hurts my ears. Otherwise, great game!
I liked the dialog and I think it was a good take on the theme to have the characters saying that it's a small world. But the answer was a bit too easy and I think I would have liked it more if it had some twists and turns in game. Great job though!
I liked the graphics and the multiplayer. It's nice to see a 2-player game since we are a two-man team!! Great job!
I loved the graphics!! It's a bit too easy right now but I see how I'd have to start playing strategically the harder the game gets!! Maybe some new regular polygon worlds?? Who know! I'll be looking forward to the future update!
