I turned the whole planet into volcanoes.
It was a good use of around 40 minutes of my time.

@constellado - I was only hoping for about ten minutes of attention so I'll take that as a win
Lovely graphics! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation [video series](https://youtu.be/OjTiHp24xjs), if you’d like to take a look :)
@jupiter-hadley Wohoo, having a look through it now
I enjoyed figuring out the combinations and what the symbols meant and thought the game looked really good. Nice work!
Looks quite nice and i like the tiles and the element combination. The random? blocks at the same time were sometimes confusing, was it random or related to what i did? Needs a goal, but I think you've got the start of something very nice here.
Interesting idea! It would be nice if you could access a list of the combinations you already done. It's a lot to keep track just by mind (or maybe I'm lazy =P)
The art style is also very cool.
Really like this game. Took a while to figure out what the effect of each element is. When I had it was good fun trying to manage the use of elements when getting one that you don't want. Also, I think the graphics work very well.
Very compact and well make game. I really like the graphics and effects you added, it feels good. I think that if you add some more interaction or customization, it would ve very attractive, specially for mobile devices. Like small civilizations or something like that? I don't know, it was cool anyway!
Nice experiment ! The idea is good and well executed, we liked it even though it may be a little obscur sometimes to figure out the relation between the icons and the tiles reactions. Bravo !
This is fun! I had to spend a while playing it to figure out the rules, before eventually settling on trying to turn the whole world into volcanoes. The graphics are well done too - the rough texture on the tiles really enhances the look of it. Great work.
The graphics are awesome. They remind me of crinkled paper. I stopped playing, when 95 percent of the planet was covered with at least tents. It took me some time to reach that point but it absolutely worthed my time, since the mechanics are pretty well done, too. Haven't played many ld38 games that look and feel so well crafted as this on.
Thank you so much for creating and sharing your game!
Sort of like a mysterious diorama builder. Or like a Sim City world tile randomizer. I guess Sim Earth would be more appropriate. Were there plans to have more of a gamey layer? Like help people living on the planet?
This is a very nice toy. I set myself challenges along the way. I first turned it into all desert and volcanoes and then tried to get it back to "m-class". The papery look made the toy-feeling perfect. Very well executed on a very good concept.
Fun concept, it was nice to discover new combinations. Really pretty graphics too.
This is pretty interesting, i like the concept, it's fun to see the different effects the elements have on the tiles. Would like to see an expanded version with objectives and different-sized worlds. Nice work!
I'll second the pretty graphics; (and transitions) I like it. It's kinda fun to create your own goal, though I can see making a few goals being pretty fun too.
I loved the idea and the execution! Maybe slow down the sun rotation a bit? It would increase readability.
I am not sure what is happening in the game, but it is beautiful.
I have to give you a shoutout for the impressive visuals. It took me a little while to figure out how some of the interactions triggered. I bet this would make for a really interesting puzzle game if you expanded upon it, good job!
If you like, please take a look at the game I made for the game jam, you can find it linked on my profile
When I first saw this, I thought it was papercraft! Congratulations on putting together a simple enough artstyle that is still very appealing!
As for the game itself, I enjoy experimental games like this, and there definitely was a decent range of interactions available to try, so I enjoyed myself with this one. I think I would have preferred a little more granularity on the tiles so I had more room to create interesting landscapes, and maybe a few more interactions with the humans, but on the whole I enjoyed my time with this game!
I really enjoyed the graphics in this game, it really gave off a "miniature model" kind of feel. It's fun to just play around with the interactions and making volcanoes, and satisfying to click tiles to change them. Maybe in the future you could build on the puzzle aspect and have different levels where you must achieve certain configurations? Would certainly be a cool 3D puzzle. Great job!
The graphics were nice (especially the water) I know there wasn't a goal. But finding out the interactions was fun enough, and most of it made sense!! wind breaking mountains and rocks and such. Great entry!!
The graphics look very nice, the gameplay is a bit lacking as there is nothing to really do, but it's fun experimenting with the different interactions.
