Cool idea! I also got stuck on the laser level :x I couldn't seem to turn the portal back on.
Also, I noticed if die, retry, and then try to move before the camera zooms out, it'll still try to follow the character :p
Really cool mechanic. It was neat having to explore the world literally from every angle. It made me think of what Mario Galaxy might have been like on the NES

Points for innovation and reminding me of wikipedia link rabbit holes. A quick note though, I have no script and noticed that the timer wasn't showing until I whitelisted the game's web page. I don't know how that would impact gameplay but I imagine it might just allow for unlimited time.
If it's not random I'm not sure how much replayability it would have, but maybe someone would speed run it :p

Pretty good! Though it seems like the only real thing to do is go straight down since anything else happening is basically up to chance as you can't see anything. I also don't understand how to avoid bats so to some extent you just have to hope you don't get all the stamina knocked out of you rather than having any real agency in the matter. With a few tweaks I think it could be quite an addicting little game.
