Nice game! Liked the music and the "simple" feeling of the gfx. A bit more challenging and this game could be even cooler I think. :) Well done!

I really liked your concept of what felt to me like a small world space trading game. You need to go get the raw materials from a bunch of different places and combine them back to make a 'profit'.

That being said, I think that the game takes too long to play and doesn't reward you properly for succeeding. Making order 2 takes quite a long time without any real challenge. I think the game might be more interesting if you could perform tasks that made it easier to fulfill orders. For example, I really liked the way the Ice Machine worked. Once you have it, getting ice is no longer an issue anymore. Similarly, perhaps you could plant a lemon rather than turn it into lemonade then water it so you don't need to go to the lemon planet anymore.

Overall, I like the concept but its just a bit too slow for me.

Thanks for the game :)

@kosmo thanks for playing and giving me tips it helps a lot! Ye I totally agree that I should have made the process easier to do with upgrades and stuff like planting trees but Im very slow at making games hence why I'm doing this. Thanks again for playing

You had me at "Intergalactic Lemonade Inc", but unfortunately it wouldn't load in my browser (Firefox) - just got stuck on some ad screen (why is there ads xD)

kawales 2017-05-02 20:03

@mrspeaker They are turned on by default on GJ( turned them off now) also unities webGL usually takes longer to load!

Really liked this game! Nice job. It is very relaxing and the sound/graphics/mood mesh together really well.

Really good. It was fun flying the ship around and I really liked the look of the game. It plays just a touch too slowly but otherwise excellent.

Whoa! Played that quite a long, much better game than I anticipated! Amazing work!

I really liked the controls, they felt like Star Control II melee part (non paid ad: if you do not know that game check it's remake: The Ur-Quan Masters, it is amazing). That floating in space and collecting things was very captivating. Really well done! It is hard to create such an atmosphere in a game. Outstanding!

This is really good. I had a similar idea a few LDs ago (can't remember which) but had to abandon it because I knew I wouldn't be able to finish. I'm always really in to games about the parts that the other games skip, like logistics and assembly lines etc. The sound in this makes it really relaxing, and I like that the physics of the ship and the solar system sort of work together to create interesting decision points. Great job!

Fun game to play. I never did find the ice machine though. The idea is definitely funny, you should have left this in the humor category! One small complaint I have is that the map shows the planets, but I often got lost trying to figure out where I was in relation. Good job though, hope to see more from you!

If you like, please take a look at the game I made for the jam, you can find it linked on my profile

The art was simple but polished, the controls were nice. The gameplay was fun, but there were just so many trip that I had to take considering how slow the ship is. 4 trips of lemon? bareable. 4 trips of water? bit of a hassle but sure. But 4 trips of ice felt like 8 trips considering how you have to visit 2 planets. But a cute concept nonetheless. Good Luck!

Thanks for all the feedback everyone, this will help me a lot and has improved my game design skills

Great graphics and mechanics, however it can get a little tedious with all the recipes.. perhaps I would like to have seen some enemies to fight or miniquests, or perhaps a way to see your the value of intergalactic lemonade inc rise, cookie-clicker style. However this is definitely one of my favourite games so far, nice job!

antiwrapper 2017-05-16 18:59

Really well done game. Feels very polished with nice looking art and music.

The idea was fun and I enjoyed playing this game a lot. My negative points about this game is though that you often have to make a lot of trips to the same items, you can't see yourself on the map and there is no real lose condition. Maybe a time trial were you try to get through as many quests as possible. Maybe some upgrades for your ship would also be nice or some kind of enemies or obstacles that makes it a bit more challenging. But like I said earlier, the idea is still fun and the game is very well polished.

Great work and good luck!

kawales 2017-05-16 19:06

@antiwrapper Thanks for the feedback! Yea the time trial and enemies were something I wanted in the game but I didn't have enough time, hope I can be quicker next time, thanks for playing!

Although my favorite kind of lemons are the combustible lemons, I really enjoyed this game :P It was really well made, the graphics were really minimalistic and pretty, and the music was also really great! The gameplay was really interesting and it kept me engaged for quite a bit! My only "complain" would be that the particles of the ship were a bit different from the overall look and that kinda stood out. But that's not really problem, especially in a game jam. Plus, your game was really pretty and fun either way! Good job! :D

slueta 2017-05-16 19:18

Hi, this is a nice-looking game and sound is good also. I felt myself lost since my position is not on the map. controls are hard to master, but that is part of the challenge. Congrats for making it!. If you have the opportunity, please rate my game also (it is WebGL): NUKEBALL - https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/nukeball
