Nice concept but a bit hard to play ! Also, during all my playing session i was like "Why the jump isn't on space bar ?" ^^

Nice concept but a bit hard to play ! Also, during all my playing session i was like "Why the jump isn't on space bar ?" ^^
Difficult to play, i didn't had a really good time trying to pass these really fast platforms :/
Great use of the swipe game concept and fun encounters all the way through! Great job!
Great strategy game and quite complete! Miss maybe a little calibration but still quite enjoyable. Lacks feedback for the player maybe, but that wasn't really a problem. Well done!
Really nice game! I like this type of driving and you make it fits the theme well. Great work, only miss some clear goals and maybe a better keyboard support, but still great job!
Wonderful graphics and gameplay concept. I'm having a hard time knowing what a click is going to do (lack of hint on the buttons I guess) and the asteroids starts hitting the ship too quickly, I can't even setup properly. With a little bit of polish it could be really great!
By the way it reminds me a lot of Faster Than Light, I guess that was an inspiration?
Really nice! I enjoyed the game even if I felt the difficulty wasn't growing quickly enough. Anyway, I spent 15 minutes killing 2000+ zombies, and even managed to get out of bounds! Lovely simple old-school graphics, efficient music. Great game!

My score btw: 563888 :D
Simple concept well executed, difficulty is really high though. I couldn't get past wave 5 ^^ Good job!
Neat concept which only lacks some pressure for the player (and maybe some score?). That could be a timer which just turns both the squares black if you don't click fast enough. Or even better, it blacks out two more squares, encouraging the player to click fast instead of taking his time!
I had a lot of fun mashing my mouse buttons and gathering as many random stuff as possible! Great use of the theme. Only downside: it's difficult to choose whether to keep an object because you have so many!
Nice music and art, the 3D aspect looks damn good but contrast with the player. Nice work!
Really neat graphics and a good concept! Of course it needs more content and probably something to be able to make each try different, but I had fun beating the genie so I guess you did good  Great work!
I think there is a bug that prevents me from playing correctly, the ship is moving by itself. I tried disconnecting my controller but it's not getting better :/ Apart from that it looks like it's a great game :)
Wonderful game! Incredible how this looks like a complete game and not a jam one (except that there's not much content of course). The graphics are really nice, mood is perfect, sounds are all good and ambient music isn't too loud. Would love to play again with different setups, more mechanics, etc...
Congrats!
@blondhie I fixed the bug. If you still experience it, just unplug any controller you might have! ;)
Thanks everyone for the nice comments, especially about how it's surprising to have a level editor inside, it indeed took most of my time but allowed me to do the rest of the game quicker. I've been working on a post-jam version of the game lately and included some of your critics, but the game still needs a lot of polishing.
I'll also be adding a tutorial too because, like everybody says, it's not really obvious how the game works.
@loadsofmana Indeed sound and music would be nice but I'm no music guy and during game jams I've never tried to do some
@florian-van-strien Thank you so much for you complete review, I've already implemented multiple things you wrote (opacity, replacement...) and improved the game at the same time
@alex-lutay You have no idea how bad I wanted to do a simple "past-your-url-and-play-the-level" but I couldn't make the http request module work with https... I'll have to dive into this deeper and make a real system maybe!
@furiouswitch Well, thanks a lot! I experienced the "level clear" not showing up but haven't been able to find the source of the bug for now.
One of the best I played so far! Managed to save the world and continued playing afterwards because I wanted to know more. Great complete game :) Sweet graphics too!
It sure lacks objectives, but you did a really good job making this. The graphics are nice, the audio is nice, and the overall feeling (controls, movements, mood) is really good. I don't know if I have the same twisted mind as you but I immediately understood I had to circle the properties to buy them. Eventually I bought everything and happily walked around my houses collecting tons of money.
Whatever you were building with this game has good addicting foundations. Do you plan on continuing? Count me as interested if it's the case.
Great game! Lots of frustration + lots of retries equals big satisfaction to beat all the levels!
Really nice concept, makes me think a lot like Splatoon of course! Great increase of difficulty across the levels, would love to play more :)
Nice infiltration puzzle mix with great difficulty across the levels! The tutorial / introduction is also nice :) Well done!
I had a hard time playing correctly but lots of fun! Could improve on the controls and the rules. Music is quite nice, graphics are not really my style but it has its own! Good job for a 2nd jam!
Hard to really control what I'm doing here, but I feel like there's a good concept underneath, plus the graphics and the audio are really good!
Great idea but the controls are really incompatible with me. I got stuck too many times just trying to understand why when I reverse the controls are... well reversed x)
891.157! Neat concept, I enjoyed getting a good inventory, but I feel lack it rely too much on patience to get good items. Great art and sound!
The gameplay is really nice but lacks maybe a bit of polishing. I'm a big fan of the hexagon-tiled sphere, and with some more content it could be really nice! Great work!
Great adventure-like concept that I wanted to explore in depth, but the random collisions got the better of me. I still enjoyed the game and especially the funny way you exploited the theme. Great work! Oh and great music!
This was actually a really funny mini-game. Strong point is that it's complete, you can do all three levels back to back and have a sense of completion, which is pretty rare on a jam! Overall concepts were not super original but executed correctly, I even want to do it again to try other strategies. I invested in energy resupply and the machine gun and it was not too hard, so I guess balancing was done quite well!
Great job!
This is one of the best I've played so far! Graphics are really cute and cool (I'm biased though, love voxel). The gameplay is super funny, at first I was like "What, I can't throw a medkit to kill!", but it got me and I enjoyed a lot the levels! Super good job to you both!
The concept was really interesting, having to balance characteristics and life was really refreshing to the classic "control two characters at the same time gameplay". Still, the graphic style killed it for me, as I was having trouble aiming and reading correctly, but that's probably a personal taste/issue. Good job overall!
Really, really good game! It sure can be a bit frustrating at the beginning, being in front of that 60 or 90 door and having only 45 seconds left, but you nailed the theme and the gameplay (though controls could surely be improved, it felt great overall). I managed after 4 attemps to get more than 200 as shown there: 2019-05-16_19-24-58.png
You said that you wanted to do a more complete game and I'd be really curious to see how well it scales! Congrats again! Oh and music is cool as well!
That's a pretty good concept you got there, but it felt really slow to progress :( I did felt guilty buying those slaves and naming them AAA, ABC, AZE & so, so I guess the mood was pretty good! Kudos to the graphics as well, nice style :)
Pretty game for sure! Music is cool, visuals are cool, gameplay is cool as well but difficult to understand/control. While I was playing I always felt like I was doing random stuff instead of going to specific places to catch specific coins. It sure could be improved, but that's a game jam! Good job! PS: Did a score of 107800, is that good?
I did not really enjoy playing the game, thought there were visible effort to add some depth with the upgrades for example. The music was too loud but okay. After 30 seconds of playing, there were no more slaves to catch, I don't know if it was on purpose? Oh, and calling me a noob for trying to explore the map was not cool at all.
Love these kind of games! Realization is really good, awesome work!
I won! Quite polished experience even if it was a bit too passive for me. Great job!
Super great game! Played to the end and got 238, I must say I'm quite proud of it! With some progression systems it could be really fun :)
@roitchie I indeed wanted to get a feeling of Papers Please but did not have time to push the rules a bit further, maybe for a future version!
@flenzil Glad you liked it and managed to get your head around it! It is definitely not as self-explanatory as I wanted. Yes, the random is not constrained by what you currently have in your rockets so it can "force" you to blow a rocket.
@swordfish I actually went for something Nintendo DS style with the two screens style but had no time to improve the top screen or put more valuable things in it. I'd love to say that figuring out how it works is part of the game but that would be lying :stuck_out_tongue: Happy that you found that fun in the end!
@mnemosynevl Yeah it turned out way more "educational" that I initially thought with skills in mental arithmetic being challenged
Thank you all for the feedback!
@skleembof Holy wow, I wrote the explanations in a hurry right before the deadline and did not change them since, so your tutorial is very welcome! I also really love your ideas about the ability to reroute or correct packages, that's excellent! Thank you for the time spent on testing this, I'm sincerely grateful.
Quite an amazing game in such a short time, it feels really good to play minus the "frustration" it is to replace a tile, having to right click twice, then re-select. Music fits the mood super good and the overall feeling is super good.
Beautiful game with great execution and features! Obviously it would benefit from having a progression of sort, but it's already quite cool as is! Well done!
Quite cool idea! I retried many times to try not to damage packages but the difficulty was quite high. I had fun anyway and the mood was super great!
Potential is there but obviously it is a bit lacking as is. For a couple of hours work, that's cool and makes want to see more. I had an issue the first play where I only had Fwd cards and couldn't do anything except running into the enemy, which was somehow pretty funny
Quite cool and polished experience, the kind of simple to get/hard to master mini-game you want to try hard to get a better score! Graphics are cool, audio is a bit too loud but goes nice with the no-pressure-but-still-a-little mood. Great job!
Pretty cool idea with lots of potential! The controls were a little bit too clunky for my taste, but great job!
Quite rare to see educational games in the LD, well done!
Impressive game! Mechanics are quite complex to get a full grasp on but it quickly gets addictive. Graphics are super cute and the overall mood is super pleasing. Great job!
While the pacing was a bit slow at the start, it was definitely fun to buy an army of workers to dismantle everything. With more polish, this would definitely be something I'd play! Great job!
I like this very much, that's my kind of game! It starts out easy but even with training getting the hang of it is not simple at all. Great job!
Fun platform game with great levels, reminds me of I Am Bread! Controls can be a bit too annoying at some time but that's the skill curve I guess :p Great job!
Fun to play, loved the dash particularly!
Cool little platform experience, took me a few tries but managed to win it and it was satisfying! Good job on the game! More levels! :)
This was one of the coolest I've played so far! I love platformers and farming so mixing the two cannot be bad. The only annoying detail was the seeds appearing too fast so they ended up cluttering my inventory.
Great great work!
This is one of the best I've played so far. Every aspect has been correctly done and we just want more levels :) Really nice work!
I really enjoyed the concept but the game was a bit too messy to fully enjoy. Why making tetris lines is not enough to make them disappear? After getting all the controls (I missed the destroying part at first), this was the Tetris part that make me loose each time and that was kinda frustrating.
Still, I had much more fun than expected because I thought it would be to hard to be enjoyable! And it's a very nice first game!
PS: I agree about the colors with @gagapete, they were really soft and nice looking together!
Very cool, I just hope I won't get the habit of typing every word without the last letter! I did not understood why Nita tried some backflips sometimes because it made me loose every time :(
Also, I would have liked it better if you could just stack jumps and use them when wanted because if a long word come between two close obstacles, well, that was near impossible (and i'm a fast typer). Or maybe juste make words spawn closer so we can fly :D
Anyway, good job!
That's really fun! I needed only like 30 seconds to understand the rules even without reading anything. Good job!
That was way too hard way too quick but so much fun! Couldn't get past the first race with cats. I ended up listening to the noises laughing out loud.
10/10 would play an updated / optimized version!
This was 54 shots of fun! Great concept, great graphics! Just add some levels (and / or a level editor) and this could be hours of gameplay :) Well done!
First, thanks a lot for your feedback! I'm sorry for the colliders bugs, I had a hard time doing something that stable and I will happily take any advice in that domain!
@YinYin While I had to fix a bug, I also made the invisible walls semi-transparent, it should be a lot better now! Sure you can abuse the unstuck option but as I had no time to code the collision system myself, I just dealt with it.
@RAFFE I thought about it but I just don't know what to put as background / skybox. This is my first "complete" 3D game so...
@ursagames I don't know why I did not let the player choose 1 player, as it should work well. Will update it later for a better post-jam version!
Thanks again for your feedback, it is much appreciated!
@HS_Dave I played with two friends on Tuesday and we indeed had a lot of fun! Hitting on each other and jumping everywhere we could to find shortcuts. And yeah it's closer to golf: I had ideas to make it closer to a race at first but had no time to complete.
@PSiv That's a lot of good advices! I'll take them into account as I'm improving the game for a better post-jam version. I must admit I am pretty proud :) Thanks!
I love the clicker genre and you nailed it! Sure it's simple but does it's job, and the dating aspect is really nicely integrated. The music is smooth and soft, maybe the only one I didn't deactivated in the LD games I've played so far. The graphics are cute.
Nice job!
This is a complete game with even a tutorial! The concept and the implementation are good, but it's really hard (too hard?) to last more than 1 minute in a game.
Still, a pretty awesome work! Good job!
It picked my interest even if I don't really like dating sims. I wanted to know the rest of the story, and that was nice! Good job
The switch between 2D and 3D was really nice, it just lacked a link between the two modes (the bird could be following you and guiding you to the house).
I noticed the small change in the graphics quality names and that made me laugh! Well done!
The mixing looks fun but as you said it's somewhat unfinished and lacks some information on whats going on. Also I need to refresh the page to play again after i've lost. Graying the too expensive cards could allow the player to better understand what he can do. Double clicking on them would probably be simpler too.
I still like the idea (and love everything with hexagons in it) so don't hesitate to poke if you finish / update it :)
This is awesome! As a fan of every Zachtronics game, it reminds me a lot of TIS-100 by the graphics, and it a really good reference for me. No bug, except that the directions are swapped for me (1 is horizontal and 0 vertical, but that's not really a problem).
Very, very well done!
That was hard (a counter of my missed shots would overflow any integer) and too short, but I had tremendous fun. The idea is good, the graphics are good, it just misses one thing : multiplayer :)
Good work!
The graphics are really nice and we would like to do more after building our block, as doing the same thing over and over is quickly boring. Overall a nice experience and I loved the background story
It lacks an objective but is still pretty fun, and I love the cute graphics! The "Boooom" spawning next to me makes me feel powerful. Maybe just start with a pistol and gather / buy better guns? The difficulty would be greatly increased if ennemies would be attracted by the player.
Great work!
This is neat! I had a lot of fun and even if I'm usually good with maths, the fact I was doing something else made me loose all my habits x) The difference between the difficulty levels is good and having this nice summary at the end (got three A :stuck_out_tongue:) complete the whole thing perfectly!
The concept could be easily used to teach maths! Now make more races and let the player decide on which operation to train! Amazing work overall!!
PS: I laughed too hard at your mouth-made noises ^^
The first level really got me stressed as the monster got very close multiple times, but that kinda fade away for the few next levels. I had trouble seeing the purple power bar, as it didn't show if I hold my left mouse button before being able to shoot again (and I need to as I want to shoot the quickest possible).
Still a pretty fun idea and even if this may not be horror this is stressful :D Good job!
What could I expect from our :cookie: god Orteil other from an Idle Game
This is a really weird but surprisingly nice combination of two genres. Sure, it needs calibration, as the progression is reaaaaaally slow, but it has good graphics, a really cool mood and as far as I played (cheating a little to auto click, don't bite me): a lot of content!
Great work!
