yeah super chill and stylish

adam-jenness 2023-05-05 13:09

honestly really clean looking

Beautifully presented and engaging game, it took me a little while to figure out how to make potions with the combiner but overall an excellent submission.

mals 2023-05-05 13:24

Great game. I had a hard time getting the combiner to work for some reason. I eventually got it and the game is great. Thanks!

kujoen 2023-05-05 13:47

Very impressive game. Here some feedback: - When deleting items rapidly, a somewhat painful static click is playing. - A "Clear the room" button would be great. - The audio of the potions reaching the delivery zone sometimes turns into some sort of static.

All in all, great job!

A really neat factory game that looks amazing for the amount of time that you had. I appreciate that there was no timer and you had time to explore for yourself and work things out.

francoisgoret 2023-05-05 13:59

Impressive game made during the ldjam ! A very balanced gameplay and beautiful graphic.

binaryspark 2023-05-05 14:50

Thanks for the feedback, all! We really appreciate it.

@kujoen The delivery building can show a puff of smoke and play a burning noise if the potion is rejected, e.g. it didn't closely match any open orders. Could that be what you meant? Good point about the annoying static click though, thanks for pointing that out!

Superb looking game! I love puzzlers like this, but I found the scroll waaaaay to sensitive to use for rotating. If that was controlled by an optional key or had a sensitivity adjustment, it would have been perfect. Great art, music & mood!

A great submission.

It was a bit hard at first to understand how to mix the ingredients. A cookbook guide could be useful, I think that using some symbols instead of words like red could add a lot of juice to this game, it is really easy to add with textmeshpro.

The music and the graphics match really well with the gameplay, giving a nice, relaxed mood.

This is a really impressive and all around enjoyable game. Love the music and the art. To add another layer of excitement, it could be worth exploring a "play" button that requires you to set up the entire pipeline ahead of time, with a focus on correctness rather than quantity of deliveries. But I also enjoy the simplicity and casual nature of the current system.

Very nice visuals!

Holy wow. This game is really good for a jam. I played a ton and I'm not even half way finished. I didn't hit a single bug, and everything runs great too. Very nice work. Would help the start to know the exact output of the ingredient boxes (doesn't work from the sides?) Also, some polish on vfx and audio for potion creation and delivery. So good though, congrats.

thetatautau 2023-05-05 16:24

Great entry. There are some QoL issues but that's expected for a 3 days project.

nonimad 2023-05-05 16:42

Quite an amazing game in such a short time, it feels really good to play minus the "frustration" it is to replace a tile, having to right click twice, then re-select. Music fits the mood super good and the overall feeling is super good.

sonofsofaman 2023-05-05 17:01

Really nicely done! I want to keep playing.

Hey there!

What I do like about this kind of games is that you have to work with your brain, not your reaction or anything else. And overall game mechanic is fairly polished with this idea that potion shouldn't be perfect and overall color-based mechanic (tho it might be hard to get for color-blind people).

What I would probably try to make better is a goal. There is no a lot of problem to cleanup & rebuild the whole map, since there are no constraints like time for the order (which is good) or money for building. And as well there is no demand per time, which might make the passing levels more challenging trying to build the most efficient potion-maker machine.

But actually it's just ideas how to improve, overall I would say that it's really good game and I did enjoy playing it

Very nice game, polish was really good. Overall sound design was definitely a highlight. Only changes I'd recommend are having a clear room button and not having deleting a tile clear your current selection of what to place.

danyclockworker 2023-05-06 12:34

Great mechanics.

chuckiee 2023-05-07 06:54

I like the song, graphics and game itself. I was lost a bit on why nothing is happening then I found out that boxes have a "front" side. I got to Amber potion which required 65% red, 25% green and was very confused, then figured it's 75 to 25  I didn't like that you have to destroy what you have and rebuild , I think seeing that everything "flows" is the best part of automation games.

flying-butter-studio 2023-05-07 12:45

Nice game, fun to play  Just ofr me a little bit slow but interesting in its mecanics. Good job

misterixi 2023-05-07 21:27

Yo interesting to see someone with such a similar Idea like we had. I really dig the freeform mixing of potions, a really cool mechanic. Besides the audio static click the other thing that bothered me most is the fact that you disabled "playing in background". Especially with some of the mission requiring >50 potions, I sometimes had one last mission to complete in a level and had to keep the focus in the game while doing nothing. It is a minor thing, but since the rest is already so clean this really bugged me  Also The fact that combiners would grab anything also tripped me up several times, since I accidentally placed it next to an unwanted resource, but I guess that can be considered a feature to further complicate the placement.

Really clean entry. Especially the in depth tutorial was very appreciated. For such a game it is definitely a good thing to include. Edit: I also want to add that the last problem (the "ultimate potion") is a banger. It was really fun solving that!

mia-143 2023-05-12 17:49

I enjoyed the game, and the art was really appealing. The idea of mixing and delivering potion is also nice - good job!

rentem 2023-05-15 19:16

Awesome Game. I enjoyed it from start to finish.
