Good music and colors. I did not get the rules and felt in all traps. Maybe, make them more scary to show that they must be avoided.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD44 → Coin Coin !

Decent entry. I think you need to make the rules clearer.
PS : Rate other entries so that your own gets more ratings.
Quite a decent game, I had fun playing a few rounds. It took me a while to understand that the coin traps were not power-ups at first. Perhaps in-game instructions would be nice.
Otherwise, it's a decent entry. Great job ! And remember to rate other people's game to get a rating !
The controls feel nice and responsive! Core loop is entertaining and minimalist theme works great. Wasn't really sure what ends the game, first play it ended in the first few seconds, later I got to play for a few minutes. The traps felt a bit counter intuitive (symbols of saving money make you lose money).
Nice art and good job on synchronzing the music with the game. Sadly I didn't really have an idea what I was doing or what the goal in the game was. It seems that collecting some objects resets the current value of your coin, so that's probably some kind of combo mechanic to get more points? Also, I didn't get how you lose or when the game ends, besides when the music track is over.
I think, if you can make the rules more clear and understandable, this game is pretty fun. The visuals and audio are cool already.
The game is nice and has potential! Good job! :)
Fun stuff! The music and effects really carry the theme here :) Gambling chip disco vibes. Initially it was unclear a bit what all the thing on the tracks do, but after a while I distinguished them properly. No idea what the gambling effectively does though?
The jumping between tracks felt pretty nice and comfortable, the coin rotations not as much :P
Well done!
Pretty game for sure! Music is cool, visuals are cool, gameplay is cool as well but difficult to understand/control. While I was playing I always felt like I was doing random stuff instead of going to specific places to catch specific coins. It sure could be improved, but that's a game jam! Good job! PS: Did a score of 107800, is that good?
That's a cool game, Loved how random it feels, congrats ^^
Really enjoyed your entry! Couldnt really understand exactly when and why you couldnt jump to the upper lines but i eventually managed to play till the end with 40k! Awesome graphics and effects, really liked neon style to it all. Great job!
Nice game. Not realy my genre, but it is well made. The traps are a little hard to dodge, the jump is a little weak, and you don't realy have the power or time to jump over it. The graphics are simple, but does perfectly the work :)
@nonimad thanks for you feedback :-) 107,800 is not bad at all! my best score so far is 325,760. You have to reach last coin (the coin coin) as quick as possible in order to make more points ;-)
I think the game was really cute! I found it to be kinda challenging however since I seem to have run into the gamble sequence and could not jump over money traps. I was also struggling to move into the middle line and could only go top or bottom. Overall had nice graphics and music.
This is overall a pretty well made LD game. Love the music and the visual style. The game could have used an in game tutorial, but it not a big issue for a jam game.
Nice infinite runner/scroller idea with the different line/lane choices. I found it a bit too easy or slow in terms of difficulty progression but otherwise it was a nice game with enjoyable art and music. Nicely done!
Awesome game! I love the music and how the game looks.
I really like the curves! I wonder how you make/generate them.
I was a bit confused by the rules in the beginning, because some of the coin traps look like positive things to me.
Some of the coin taps were unavoidable, for example if all the curves intersected exactly at the point of a coin trap. Also, if a curve has a positive slope, jumping on that curve didn't have much effect. I am not so sure how you could remedy that though.
Because of the steepness of some of the curves, and because of the constant horizontal velocity, the player sometimes went superfast (vertically). Because the camera is following the player, I was sometimes surprised by incoming coin trap when I was on steep curves.
It was satisfying to collect the coins. After a while I remembered that the left and right arrow could also be used. I tried to use this to my advantage, but the game is too fast for me to really do smart things with that. It is not really clear how/when coins are combined, only when they are next to each other? And you always lose the left-most one when you pick up a 6th coin? Also, there are so many different coins, that it can be quite hard to tell them apart, especially with this speed as well as their rotation speed.
Perhaps it would be nice to visually show which curve the player is on, by highlighting this curve.
Overall, very good job! Congrats!
