i liked the concept, it reminds me a previous theme (mix 2 incompatible genre). It's not easy to understand what's going on but i'm sure you can develop the concept more to have a really good game.

really fun, i get the whole screen full of slimes :D i didn't get how it fits with the theme (split is not a sacrifice) but it was very fun to play : the beginning is difficult but when you have 5 or 6 slimes at the right place it's very easy.

controls are not easy and doesn't give a good feeling. I like the idea to get rid of loots as shield but it didn't used it to go through level, i found it easier to remain protected by montains and pass through attacks and beams... the idea still very good but could be implemented differently IMO.

Good points : music and SFX give a good mood. Gameplay is pleasant. Difficulty is well balanced (could be less easy though).
Thing to improve : Sacrifices are obvious to me and i'd like to end up with a very small weapon. Text sequences are too long and can't be skip.

i think using UP arrow to fall blocks DOWN is a little weired.
concept is interesting and fit well with the theme.
however, the game is too easy/obvious : i managed to finished the game with few towers. I think with more enemies life or less tower power, it could be more challenging.
As a sides notes : there is no audio in your game but you opt-in for audio evaluation ... 🤔 i didn't evaluate humor and mood neither because it don't know how evaluate it.
A good point though : i quickly understood how to play.

gameplay seams not interesting at first but when you begin to run out of space it's getting funny. Maybe the map is too big to reach the interesting part of the game.

a great game : graphics and music are lovely, i love the contrast between the lovely music during space ship customization and distressing music during the battle.
Gameplay is very fun, switching from shield/weapons quickly optimizing the heat, i loved it.

It's funny and fit well to the theme. My strategy was to randomly shoot in many directions and it works well. I liked your description (mostly the requirement section :D ).
The comets disepear directly without any explosion, this could be improved.

the tile collapsing mecanics is very innovating and fit the theme very well. I love the sounds and animation when the world shrink.
Overall graphics and sound design are pleasent, screen transitions are cool too.

i discoverd you can erase cell by simple click, you should write it somewhere in the game page. A "clear all" would be useful as well.

I really love the idea, it fit perfectly to the theme. It's very simple but very efficient. Remind me the AI backpack problem. PICO-8 is always pleasent and pixel art is good.

PS : i managed to solve the puzzle quickly but that's ok for a jam, i can imagine a post jam version with lot of difficult puzzle to solve.
The idea is very great and fit perfectly to the theme. Game is fun but could be a bit more difficult, i managed to win once i understood prices depends on height. I had good time though, thanks!
few things could be fixed :
* end game popup says "you" ... i think it'd be "You win" because i reached 100% of science * too many SFX played for breaking cells and it overlaps badly * the "LD41" thing :-) it's minor but people may think part of the game was made previous to the jam 😬

The base idea is promising. I understand it's a early work in progress without AI but there is some bugs (multiple balls ...) and it missing strategy. I'm sure you'll find out a way to improve it ;-)

i really like the concept (pretty close to my own entry, i hope you'll like it as well ;-) ).
At start I thought mixing controls was not a good idea but when spikes arrives it make sens and it becomes very challengin to move piece and watch out where the character goes :-)

I have some trouble with frame dropping/speed stability which make difficult to not fall, maybe you could find a way to have a smooth delta time.

nice game ! well executed tower defence with well balanced difficulty, i only played twice but i think i will replay it later (f**ing 13th level ! :D).
Card concept is simple but mix with tower defence work well, it could be even better with more card based strategy for a postjam game : you did a lot of work in 48 hours, especially on the gameplay.

nice mecanics, it's not easy to synchronize attacks because timeline is far from battle zone : you need your eyes to switch between them quickly. Maybe with a bigger timeline or a timeline close to the player could do the trick.
Graphics and music are simple but it works. You found time for tutorial and a map : nice job !
i like the very dark graphics and music. The concept could be promising with differents spawning geometries where player have to find the best strategy to catch them ... or not.
It's already fun to play right now and i'm looking forward for gameplay improvements including an ennemy to kill.

I think there is a bug : i killed the enemy but there is some invisble colliders that push me to the cars (a part of enemy doesn't seam to be killed ... :-/)

Current game is a little boring as it is : sometimes i was stuck without mana and needs to be hurt to earn more, skills just differ in geometry but not so much gameplay wise : cards sound like weapon selector and don't have impact on opponent's cards ...
Nice job though, you needs to dig in the idea IMO.
I really like the idea of a stressfull builder game.
It would be nice to have something to stop or slow down the blight : maybe some wood fence made with trees or something ... it could give more strategies.

you did a really good job with the audio ! the graphics are minimalist but it fit perfectly with audio and the smoothness of the game (smooth shooter !) : richer graphics would disadvantage he audio.

i played this game on Amiga when i was young. It could be a good game with something new, something unexpected. For now it's not so fun but you will find out something to fit the theme and make it really fun.
the concept is interesting, it needs a lot of improvements to be a real game but you have the concept which is the most important. Keep it up !

i agree with previous comment, balance is not well designed.
a possible way to not die by underestimate the path, you could add a depth indicator (possibly as an upgrade) : the player just have to multiply how much is carrying by depth to have a hint if he shouldn't take more ...
well polished, theme respected. Id'd suggest a relative rotation control (personal taste). With more level design (more or less planets, ...etc) it could be a great game !
overall graphics is good but level design leeks of strategy, maybe too easy ... i just have to explore some path without thinking so much to complete levels... Obviously good level design for this kind of game takes a lot of time and it could be a great game !
Graphics are so a killing, i didn't notice things missing (like better explosions..) :D Music is so killing, i didn't even noticed the SFX missing (truely) Ok you could implement lot of things and you completely missed the theme but what a killing ! Nice jobs!
Graphics and music are very clean and the game is fun! my best strategy so far was to not pickup items at all ... (i reached the green torch levels) maybe the "pickup/not pickup" balance should be improved in order to force the player to carry items.
Simple and efficient ! i always want to collect more ... and then dying so often AHHHHHHH ! The music worth at least 5 stars so bad it's not yours ... :-( (IMO the mute music option isn't necessary) I found the font not readable enough. But the overall is good, nice job !

Intro scene and all cut scenes are very impressive for a jam, graphics/animations are awesome too.
I had a bad feeling with the first music too close to mario kart original songs. I read what you've done : remixing with original instrument, that's cleaver but it would be a better derivated work if you've composed original theme with these instrument. Result is good though.

the game doesn't work with chrome : there is no customer dialogs. I tried with FireFox and i get the dialog but the "click on customer" did nothing... i was able to play though.
I guess the goal is to discover which color is linked to a named flavour and that's why there is not hint about it.
I didn't get the link with the theme but it still a nice entry!

Note: At some point a big gray rectangle took all the screen and i was stuck.
Some improvements: * audio volume is very low, i had to put my speakers at maximum. * arrow keys makes page scroll on itch.io (ping me on discord, i'll give you the solution ;-) ) * collision and world bounds could be better, i managed to go behind wall :D
Anyway, it was fun to play.
