Shall they up? by LeReveur 2017-12-27T02:33:16Z
5.134 Points :D Neat game, but some kind of hit feedback would've been great! The post jam version feels a little better in that regard as I could make out if at least my gun does any damage. Thanks!

Hah, that was neat! Really liked everything about it :) Just one thing, you should've opted out of the audio category mate :P And... I put on a nice shirt just to impress her :(
I wish I could scroll a little quicker through the dialogue, though the aesthetics are fantastic. Great work!
Hey man, the provided link does not work, maybe something is wrong with it?
Yes, really enjoyed the game. Am I missing something or was there no health bar? :)
I already loved the image of your spider you on the blog, but this game is absolutely great! The controls are fantastic! You deserve 5 stars just for getting them absolutely right! Got 8 flies btw.. is that good?
Great game with a good soundtrack!
404 mate, can't play the game!
After getting the hang of it I really enjoyed it :D Wish I could just exit the game at any time though!
Creating an array of simple arrow shooters seems to be way too effective to bother with the other blocks though, am I missing something?
7955, really great game and thanks for the HTML5 version. I could really imagine this being some sort of small VR horror game where you see a reflection behind of someone behind you on the screen :)
Poor Tentaclemonster :( After some time there weren't enough letters on screen to grab onto and a level or tentacle count would've helped to track progress. Thanks for the good game :)
I like'd it, but the web version's controls are somehow a bit glitch? Either it's me or the game doesn't register my button presses as expected :(
Great game! Sweet animations and a nice challenge!
You owe me a new mouse :))
You guys definitely deserve more ratings! Enjoyable but the main hero is a major jerk :))
Well polished game! The upgrades and increase in difficulty felt meaningful. Impressive to see what people can squeeze into 48 hours!
Wow this looks interesting. I really try to play the games posted, but if they're not HTML5 I mostly hesitate a little bit. A HTML5 version would be nice, but I still went ahead and downloaded the game and I really liked it :) Is there a specific reason I can't move diagonally? Also the duckies weren't annoying at all. The more you have the worse it is could've been used much stronger here and letting the quack until your head explodes :)) Kidding aside, I used them as shields against the evil demons!
OK, this game is really tough! But I'm enjoying it a lot :) Thanks!
Hey man, the link doesn't work, just a 404 on itch.
Great game, really enjoyed it! The game mechanics respect the theme, the style is really nice and it's actually fun to trick the guards! If only the hit detection would be a little bit tighter... Or maybe I could properly plan my escape routes :)
If you are in search for enjoyable HTML5 games, here is a blog post with a bunch of recommendations by other developers :) (Sorted by COMPO and JAM entries)

Great gem here, thanks for this one, really enjoyed it! Though a bit more candy throughout the world would've helped against this nightmare'ish experience :P
A little more description and a fluid drag and drop would've helped. But thank you for your submission!
Thanks for this entry, though I'm not sure if should be even able to pay 2000 if I have only 276 in my pocket :D
Bullseye regarding the theme, I really lost sight of whom to save! Great concept and had a lot of fun!
Great game, enjoyed it! The difficulty also increased quite well! Maybe instead of a gun there should only be melee fighting at the start as the gun is pretty useless after getting the fireball and too powerful before that? :) Also HTML5 games get an instaplay from me :D
@zapakitul: I have a twitter but I rarely use it :D But thanks for the nice feedback to all of you!
@darylsteak: Thank you for the compliments :) Sadly I couldn't be at home over the whole 48 hours to implement what I had in mind..
I have listened and I hope that I have delivered: http://www.fatihtavukcu.de/NeonHell Enjoy "LD40 - SirPumpy" as JAM submission "Neon Hell" https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/neon-hell
@chipmonkey thx for the feedback :) I simply had no time but I added those things into my jam entry. If you liked it check out the link in my post above yours. It's much improved :)
I also asked @PoV via twitter to merge my two accounts as I was somehow not able to post my JAM submission with the same account, so sorry for the confusion! (No, I'm not liking my own posts or rating my games, no cheating going on here :) )
@peredom I'm sorry to hear that you find the gameplay boring, but bringing up Vlambeer is relevant here: I am aware that they "punish" the player to not shoot all the time with their implementation to block health reload, but I plan to "prevent" this by adding a weapon heat display. When you overheat your weapon you won't be able to shoot until the systems are cooled down :) Drops during gameplay will also heal your or cool down your weapon, so that an aggressive tactic will be more rewarding. I don't want the player to fall asleep :P
@lexi Thanks, this is just the compo entry, I sadly lost a lot of time bug chasing so this version is really barren. Please check out my JAM entry or if you fancy the latest version of my game: http://www.fatihtavukcu.de/ludumdare
Oh and thanks for the rating!
@lereveur Acutally hit feedback was one of the first things post compo and directly made it into my jam release :D
http://fatihtavukcu.de/ludumdare/ Check it out here and feel free to play the updated version too (and leave a rate or two :p) The latest version also features an alternative control method for people unfamiliar with this type of movement :)
