Really nice opening/tutorial! The way you set up the enemy is cool and it requires the player to familiar with the control.
Maybe you can set up a time limit or don't let the ai spider stop to punish those players who let the spider stop for while every travel (like me haha)

Very good game! The fun part of the game is running on surface of a tiny cubic planet. This is really interesting! As game progress there are more and more white spider to avoid. The more the worse.
The best thing I love this entry is how it embed the little story into the game: Received a gift of VR device > then "game" really starts > virtual friends and stuff appears. All very smooth!

I remember seeing your blog posts as you were working on this. It's cool to see the in-progress work and then the final product! I was very impressed with how well the controls worked. It seems like they would be a very easy thing to screw up, but you nailed them! Great work!
Really great game! Congratulations! I can imagine the work needed to make that camera system, but there were times when the camera wouldn't show me on screen and I would have to gess where I was. Maybe a free camera would be better for this kind of movement? Also, great sense of humor :)
Nice! I love the monologue and the introduction. Really set up a good mood. Most of the times I failed was because the camera angle didn't show me my enemy :C

This game's aesthetic **AND** gameplay is some of the best I've seen yet on here. Simple, effective, but most importantly fun! I love how the tutorial felt so natural, like you weren't playing a tutorial at all. Great job, would like to see more!

I liked this one! I can definitely see where a gamePad would come in handy. Good job on the ai, those spiders get tricky to decieve. Just curious; I had one enemy that just chilled at the drop-off point and tried to intercept me. Was that a glitch or a nasty strat? Either way, slick graphics, audio, and definitely on the Theme. Very well done!

This is such an awesome game. I hate spiders, pure and simple, but who could hate those cute lil faces!? I saw your development updates on the feed a few times, so I'm really happy I came across your finished game, and definitely a unique one. I love the world, gameplay is simple but fun, and gets a bit crazy after a while!
Pros: - Simple, fun gameplay - Some nice, unobtrusive narrative that makes me like the character - unique world/idea - Nice art - it really just works for the gameplay.
Cons: - Viewing angle can go a way you're not expecting it, causing obstruction - Controls can be a little iffy when the above happens and you turn on the spot without changing keys
A really nice entry that I could see becoming a full game. This would be really cool with some additional goals & possibly a level-based progression. Great job!

I love the scuttling sounds, and I thought my game had bugged and the fly hadn't appeared, until I realised the world was 3d! Loved the text, looks so cute :D

Lovely artwork! The spider is sooo cute, especially the leg when clicking button! And the idea is simple but interesting. Although sometimes the view angle didn't rotate as I wish, perhaps there are too many sides and cubes nearby

Congratulations on making spiders adorable! The art is top notch and the core mechanic has huge potential. My only critique is I just wish there was more to avoid than just other spiders, but for a Gamejam its still highly impressive.
Great graphics, really smooth camera control and really solid gameplay. I kind of missed some background music (or some sort of forest noise), and the directional audio was a nice addition but it would have been more effective if it helped identifying close enemies. Great entry overall.

What an interesting game! Those graphics caught my eye when browsing through the games, I was super fun to play, and I love the story! Phenomenal work!!!!
Brilliant :) The only think I was missing is some background music. But I totally understand that's a pain in the ass doing art/programming/music and everything else in compo... I did compo too and I really tried to make some decent music... I probably failed :D

I really wish I had played this with a gamepad. It was great to play how it was, but I think I would have done better with a gamepad. We almost did a rotational style game for this jam as well, but ended up going a totally different direction. I hope you keep developing this, I will definitely be looking for it.
This is lovely. The character is great, from the visuals down to the movements, and the storyline. I like how you integrated the text early on in a fun and engaging way. For example, I like how she says the bit about 3D - from the books. It all helps set a lovely atmosphere. And, as for the 3D - it speaks for itself. The whole atmosphere is wonderful. And you helped us learn the mechanics really well before throwing the hard stuff at us. And the VR game arriving was nice. You understand story, and use it well. Also, I just realized this is a compo, and not a jam. Even more amazing.

Really clever game ! Graphics are cute and the mini story was very funny and well made :smile: The radar thing was well thought ! I had a few issues notably in the camera rotation, sometimes you didn't see the player's spider because you are not in a good face of the plateform. With a music it could have been even better ! Nice job ! :thumbsup:
操作机制和方式相当有趣！只完成了抢到了12个食物。老实说在白蜘蛛加入之后，就觉得体验变得相当混乱，白蜘蛛移动轨迹十分快，虽然有小黑点做为路径提示，但还是相当依赖于运气。但是交互上的反馈还是相当棒的，48小时能完成这等复杂的操作方式和相机运作着实让人佩服。
Fantastic entry and great take on the theme, while I have already seen several play-against-your-ghost entries this jam, this is definitely one of the best executed ones, from the graphics to the gameplay itself. I wish I could try the multiplayer version cause I bet it is even more fun with more players. I really really loved it, great work!
Great gameplay, reminding me of Echo Plex, but it varies that it fits the theme very well. Your enemy is you in the past. The more you have the worse it is. Briefly it's like when you got more score you got stronger enemies. But the 2D-3D transfer and the control and the AI simulating your path together makes it fun. Best score 7.
I'm ridiculously bad at this game, but it's really fun. And the spider is super cute. Nice dialogue, too. Great compo(!) game!
