Really cool game! I enjoyed it and it felt very relaxing and rewarding at the same time

My only issue is, what others pointed out as well - it wasn't very clear how to achieve the special effects of memories, until I accidentally clicked on non-childhood memory with other memory of higher rarity.

Still, great game overall :)

Nice game! It feels like you have had fun with the design of the levels and it certainly felt like the levels were progressively getting harder, while bringing in more and more new mechanics. If only there were some sounds in the game... but then again, it is a game jam :)

Really great graphics :) a little bit more work on it (by little bit I mean weeks, months) and it would actually be possible to sell this game as a fully fledged product in early access :D

The only downside, as some people already pointed out, is that the progression seems to be too monotonous.

And to end this, I would like to give you just one suggestion. When moving diagonally (by holding forward and left/right arrow), you get move a lot faster. Decrease the movement speed when moving diagonally by ~30% and it should feel good :)

I like it. It started out slow and quite hard, since it was hard to know when you were actually going to hit the enemy and when not.

However, after getting through first few waves and buying my first few weapons, I started realizing that there is a nice variety of weapons, which is a very nice touch!

Damn... very good game! The graphics and sounds were already praised enough and I agree with them. The AI in this game is a little stupid... BUT! The fact that the AI wasn't smart actually added a lot to the game. The game was so fun just because I could mess with your AI :)

Nice submission as your first LD entry :) Graphics work well, I actually remember playing a game that had very similar concept and graphics during my childhood. Very nostalgic :)

The sound of the player's car is a bit irritating though :/

Gameplay feels fine, even the cops manage to get pretty close to the player most of the time, which can be very hard thing to achieve.

The art style, the music and the sounds in this game feel very nice and good! I really like it!

I also like the gameplay, once I got the hang of the controls, I could get through the spikes with ease.

Unfortunately, I am having an issue which might be related to my screen, where I am unable to see the enemies until it is too late. Being able to take just one hit from those enemies without a checkpoint system feels needlessly punishing :(

I have gone through the game about 7 times, where I mostly ended up dying at the spikes because I always forgot about that one enemy there, hehe :D

The 8th time I died was at the crystal spikes, where I felt like the hitbox was a bit off... then I got moved all the way back to the beginning. That's when I felt like I have had enough and I decided it would be better to stop :D

Anyway... it is a really nice game and I respect your feel for artstyle and sound music ! :) Good overall! :)

Side note: I am not sure why you decided to be rated on humor :D the game is rather rage inducing :D

Nice concept and well executed :)

I like the graphics, the different kinds of objects and also the physics that work just as expected (no unpredictable behaviour)

The only thing I would improve about your game is to make the cursor hidden and lock in the center of the screen - I was testing that with 2 screens and it was terrible when I hit the left mouse button by mistake :(

But nothing that would decrease the rating :) Great job!

Nice, simple game with simple graphics which described the environment you were going for perfectly. I enjoyed playing it even though I am not sure what the end goal is (survive the longest or survive the shortest?) anyway, even though it is very simple, it is a great concept and it is well executed and I think the only way to make it better would be adding some story to it, which is not very hard with what you have prepared :)

The artstyle is definitely a strong tool in your game :) the music and sounds felt fine to me.

The only problem might be the mechanics which have some trash in them for some reason - when I have thrown rotten fruit into the machine, the game froze for about 7 seconds and then continued. Other than that, amazing work for a solo game! :)

The game looks good, it sets up a great mood, but the fact that the ghastly enemy keeps spotting me through walls and sometimes it gets aggressive even when I am hiding in a closet kills the fun for me a bit... Playing a game about getting sunburn in such a cold weather feels so weird :D

Anyway, Graphics, audio, music are great.

Idea was simple enough to execute it properly and polish it in time.

The level design feels great - I was always lead to something unknown the way I was able to understand it fast enough without losing and having to start over again.

The only problem for me was the same as @wujood said - the browser performance was a bit low and I don't think that's caused by our GPUs (I have GeForce GT 740M and I have about the same FPS as he has) - probably problem of browser resources?

I enjoyed the game - once I learnt that the lightning strikes at certain places and nowhere else (and learning that jumping off of another terrain while you are already jumping makes you jump even higher) I managed to finish the game within 3 minutes :D

People are fat because they shot way too many aliens while defending their farmm

People can get so fat that they can barely walk

Aliens are made of pizza and donuts

Anyway, great game, I miss sound or at least background ambiance/music and the theme of this LD made your gameplay very hard to play since the "more you have the worse it is" part of your game cannot be fought... can it?

EDIT: I take back what I said about fighting weight - I just got so fat I could not lose weight efficiently anymore :D

EDIT2: Remove the option to rate audio of your game if you can :)

I don't know why, but in first 3 minutes (after getting score od 321) trucks completely stopped coming and there was nothing left to do for the next 2 minutes after which I just closed the game :/

But if we ignore that, the mechanics you attempted to implement were almost perfect - I just had hard time placing the boxes on other boxes on on ground when I wanted them to... I just had to look almost straight down most of the time.

Graphics, music and sounds were great though :)

Graphics are great. The only 2 flaws I see in the game are 1. that it is quite hard to distinguish the distance between player and objects and 2. that after hitting a rock or worm you lose gold but it still counts towards the end score... probably intended but kinda bothered me.

All in all, great game ! I would love to see some of your work at next LD :)

Hello, I have managed to figure out the sound that is used to progress in the game. However when I accidentally clicked one of the portals, it made the game reset the level but the timer was counting twice as fast and that made it impossible to figure out the right portal in later levels :(

Well, I am going to join the score train - 5091.5. You made it so much easier with the flock system and it became much more relaxing than before when it made me rage quit playing the game.

It is very impressive that you have managed to learn how to use an engine that's unknown to you and release a game using it within 3 days that's actually very playable!

I know I have said it before but as much as the graphics are simplistic they look so polished and fit the space environment. I like it a lot :)

Not sure why some people are saying the game lacks polish when they know very well that this is a compo where everything in the game is made by you. The game is awesome, it has great mechanics, fitting graphics and great level design which took me some time to figure out :)

I like the graphics (the death animation is really well made) and the music + sound is also very impressive considering you made it all by yourself. The only thing that's lacking this time is the gameplay :(

I hope to see a Ludum game where you dedicate more than 10 hours into the development of it.

Just as @billeclipse, I agree with the itch.io uploading and the choice of engine - I wish I learn how to use that engine good enough to be able to pull at least the most basic game in it on Ludum Dare in future :)

The air-punching made it a bit hard for me but overall I enjoyed the environment and the setup of the scene. Really great job! Nice animations, nice sounds, good atmosphere (even with that killer kid behind my back).

I only find 3 issues about it - the spheres around hands, error in text when you die and the fact that it requires a stronger GPU :D

I like it how the gold bars look like butter... so relevant to the situation nowadays :D And about the game - I enjoyed the artstyle a lot - simplistic and good enough to give as much feedback as possible (easy to distinguish between birds and terrain for example) I love dropping butter at birds, however I enjoyed crashing into them much more :D Hope to see you at next jam!
