Love the voice, graphics and idea! Great game. Also it may seem ez from the start but level 3 is really hard, man :D

I love the concept! Goes very well with the theme. Very relaxing. I was missing few details like scoreboard, etc. But that doesn't take the fun out of the game.
What a shame that you didn't make it! :( Keep it up. I would love to see the game when it's finished. The graphics, sounds and theme are so great! So many possibilities to build. Do you think that you would be able to finish it after deadline and post it? :) Thanks!
I don't think you got the concept. The numbers at your ratings aren't the score you received but number of users that voted in the category. The score will be visible to you after the scoring round of LD ends and when you will receive at least 20 votes in a category (for the voting to be relevant). Or that is how I understand it. But I am newbie myself :) But no worries. I am going to play your game now and give you rating afterwards and I don't believe it will be that bad so my voting will be better and you will see that your numbers will increase only by 1 ;) Looking forward to play.
So I played and enjoyed. I love tetris and dig the idea of combining it with LD. The themes, pop-ups and programmer next to the tetris window gives the game really nice touches. I missed the prediction window tho'. Keep it up! Good job :)
I like the game, but I agree that the camera and players view could have been done somehow better. Also it seemed that the aliens were shooting on me through the walls? Dunno if it's feature or bug but still love it :)
Oh Yes! Picke riiick! I love it from the music to the actual idea! Win on my first time but wasn't able to replicate :D really fun! Thx for it! Good job :)
Nice concept but I found the conversation bubbles popping out over my screen really irritating :D Good job tho'! :) Very relatable.
Really makes you think after you win about what have you done. Love it!
I found the game quite buggy. At first diagonal movement to top left corner didn't work. Then suddenly fixed and worked properly, but my speed effect really decreased. Like a lot. (bonus +18 or something like that). Also the gameplay could have been little more thought through .. The game is really hard at the beginning but gets really ez if you spend your metal right. Might have been the other way around - something like the more metal you have, the slower you are, but also the more points you get. But that is just an idea. Overall the game has great theme, is really fun to play and I love the sound and graphical effects. Good job, man! :)
@jakub-gemrot fixed. Thx :)
@hackschnitzel I am sorry but Cardboard won't satisfy. :-/ You need the wand-control thingies :D But thanks anyway :) Maybe you will remember my game next time you stumble upon HTC Vive or similar device :)
@x-budsterized-x Glad to hear it! You could have asked ;-P It was available and I would really appreciate some testers. But no worries. I am sure you will be able to see it on One day with informatics or some other event that GameDev at MFF UK attends ;-)
I played it to the end even tho' I am a dog person :D If that doesn't say enough about the game I don't know what would. :)
Fun litle game, i love the mechanic making you use both hands simultaneously on the keyboard with different rhythm. It was fun change of pace. I can't find anything constructive to tell you, it's well polished and could be imo monetized right away if you wished so. Sounds and music are great. Graphics nice and clean. Thanks for the game :)
Hi, seems you are missing source files in your linux distribution, it cannot find map of some sort:
thread 'main' panicked at 'Level load failed.: Os { code: 2, kind: NotFound, message: "No such file or directory" }', src/map/meta.rs:29:14 note: run with `RUST_BACKTRACE=1` environment variable to display a backtrace
Hope to play your game next time :)
I love the work you put in details.. Like learning levels and gradually increasing complexity. Lot of puzzle design as well for a ludum dare. Great job! For 72hrs this is incredible result. You should be proud.
Quite difficult even on medium level. The car could take longer time to slow down - that would make for better turns imo. Overall a great game. :)
Hi, i enjoyed the game. The controls are a bit cumbersome, but overall it is a fun game that i ended up playing repeatedly. :)) Imho it would be great if the AI could push the player into the hole (or try to do so), but AIs for these things can be hard. :/ Also sometimes i ended up falling through cracks in the floor (not the holes but cracks between the "rings"). Multiplayer would be great if controls were polished :1234:
I'm sorry @tolmera but unfortunately we probably won't be releasing html version :-/ This is our first time working with unreal engine and we have been struggling quite a bit.. Especially with size of the resulting package. I am afraid that even if we were able to export it to HTML5, we wouldn't be able to deploy it in time and it would most likely take some time to even run in your browser. I do realize that it may complicate things on your end but that is why i put extra effort of releasing the game for both Windows and Linux. Please note that Linux version should work even on iOS - tested.
I hope we will manage to do something about this issue the next time around (or we may revert back to unity). Sorry for the trouble.
@raptorofaxys Thanks for your feedback ^.^ - did you try the hardest level that is selectable in options? I bet you won't consider it that short after :P
@stellarbeargames Thanks for the feedback! Would you happen to have any general advice on bringing the size down since you encountered the problem before? - I mean some general hint besides "Use google" :D Thanks ^.^
@etrealjunior Thanks for your kind words <3
@moffkalast Haha, it was our first game in UE so we decided to go simple :D turns out it's not so simple to make UE work properly with 2D :D - who would want that, right? :D ... Thanks for the feedback :))
Hello there, @malai :) There are several factors that should work in balance. First parameter is the duration for which the light stays on. Once it goes out, you die. You can replenish your oil with the oil lamps that can be found throughout the dungeon, but they can be only found on the right track towards the finish. Therefore, if you take a bad turn, you are using out too much oil. It is set up so that you should have a bit of oil left when picking up next oil lamp. Therefore, if you spend too much time in a dead end, you should die. This effect might not be as visible in smaller mazes, but should be detectable in the middle difficulty (default) and should be unavoidable and quite annoying in the hardest settings.
Our mazes are procedurally generated and because of that I cannot guarantee that you will die in all the mazes and that neither of them can be done with the right hand strategy right away. However, with trying out all of the difficulties, there should be up to hundreds of thousands mazes and very high percentage of them should confuse you up to the point that you die.
@stellarbeargames tried Godot last time around I was participating in an event like this. Was fun but a bit tiresome when working in a team. We overrode made changes by others from time to time. Thanks for the tip tho' :)
Hi! Great game! I love the idea of it, the execution could be a bit cleaner tho'. The random placement sometimes puts obstacles right in front of me and next to other obstacles, making it impossible to avoid. You would either need some sort of clever placement which knows that the obstacle can be avoided ... or ... simply place them on the other half of the track so that player has time to adapt to new situation. That could seem simple but with increasing speed will proof challenging as well I believe.
Music is suiting, graphics is nice, idea is great. Overall great experience. :) Thank you for your submission.
Wow some great artwork went into this. The controls seemed bit clumsy tho'. I liked the level-like rooms. Great effort and I hope it pays off.
I loved the graphics and music.
Missed some game end tho'. I mean besides the time-up.. Some objective. I'm not much of a fan of running around gathering points kinda games. But that's just me so I'll try to keep that in mind while scoring.
That being said, it was still a nice relaxing experience.
I got confused at the beginning as well ... so many controls :D this game could use some tutorial. However, as I got used to what i have to do, everything became clear. I like the idea of the game, do not consider it much stuck-in-the-loopish though. I do see, however, the meta-thought of the struggle being the loop. I appreciate that the game is basically finished and nicely playable. Thanks for the experience.
Very clever idea how to approach the theme. Liked it a bit :)) At the end I figured out the mechanics. I love when there's hidden logic behind at first glance random events. Thanks for the game.
This game could imo use some background music but otherwise idk what to improve. Nicely polished.
Hi :) I liked the game, the clues for matching weren't always obvious which I guess you went for - since the "stuck in a loop" was in the repetition of searching for the specific cat I assume. However, most of the time the person you were supposed to find was obvious and if it wasn't it usually was because of a generic text which resulted in me trying out every possible option.. Which imho damages the gameplay a bit.
The game was understandable and the only thing I didn't get right from the beginning was what is the text at the top left corner ..
Space cats are the best.
I found that sometimes if I found the cat, the cat stayed for the next level. Maybe it would be better to remove it and maybe mix in some new ones? That would definitely increase the difficulty ..
Also, if we are talking about reincarnation interesting aspect might be returning already solved cats back to the space with continuation of their story. That way you could encrypt the messages more and force the player to transfer knowledge between levels.
Overall great game, I enjoyed :3
Idea great, not much intuitive tho'. Got lost in the controls and imho there's too much going on at a moment. While other time there's nothing going on and you end up just waiting.
That being said, this is a game that I would like to keep watching for further development.
This was FUN. This one stuck with the longest. I love puzzle games and this one just got to me. I liked the ambient music, the sound effects, the graphics and mechanics. Especially the track merging and unmerging. Also, the difficulty increase with number of "exits" and shapes is pretty cool. Thanks for the experience. Keep it up :))
Hi, this is a nice relaxing game. I must appreciate the complexity of it, even though there are many of you, working on the same project usually slows you down and you managed to put together quite a complex game with minigames and multiple screens. So cheers for that. :)
I am missing some kind of background music or something to get the juices going, the tasks become repetitive and a bit boring for my taste - but then - I'm not much into relaxing games :D
I was missing an option to redo a conversation, I feel like i missed some important details when accidentally double-clicked in a conversation about boss's password. Also some kind of obvious objective would be nice (again my anti-relax game side is talking :D ).
I can imagine great effort went into this one. This years' LD seems full of awesome projects. Thanks for your submission.
Unfortunately, I encounter an empty blue screen when trying to play the linux version :( I hope to play your game next jam. :/ GL.

PS: Manjaro 19 ; archlinux 64bit -- there's not many of us :D
@hishighness No worries there, I'm just sorry I didn't get to test it out :)) Seems great. I love puzzles. Hopefully next time.
Great polished game. I just don't see the theme :D otherwise it's so great! You do repeat the levels tho' so I guess that counts.. :D
Very nice game! Loved the dialogues, laughed a bit there :D Keep up the good work :3 Also the music going with the flow of time is great idea. And the fact that you can move backwards in time. Loved it.
