Challenging puzzles, I enjoyed this game a lot, and I think the backdrop of the game is really pretty
The player character is adorable! I love the design. The game itself is done well also, your items fit the space very well
This is pretty good. The "ouch" caught me off guard (in a good way, it was funny). I really liked having to be strategic. I had fun with it
stealing.JPG I enjoyed this game, thought the art was really cute, sometimes I wish it was a little bit easier to track where it's going to shoot, but I had fun
The character design is so cute, your game has a very nice aesthetic. The mechanics are also interesting so that you want to keep trying to think of new ways to complete the task, nice work :)
Very interesting design, the title animation kinda hurt my eyes but I still thought it was cool how you got that to work
timeline-small.png
Did it in 30> clicks but still I did not give up! This was really fun, I was sort of unsure about how fun it would be at first but then I found myself trying really hard to win lol. It was a lot of fun and I think my timeline is pretty :)
The playable character getting filled up with light is really clever and much more interesting to look at then a health bar. Good job with this one
Wow this was stressful(in a fun way), the music really helped with the mood and it was pretty difficult which I enjoyed
This is so relaxing, I love the colors and art. It's simple but packs a punch. Nice work!
I really enjoyed this game, I feel like with more levels it could be really popular to a general public, it shows a lot of work went into it. I love the animations and the puzzles are challenging enough
This is pretty good. I love the art and smooth animations. I wouldn't want this game to go unnoticed so please go rate other games so that it gets attention!
It's easy to catch on, very smooth and nice to look at. Are there save points? Or did I just die really early before getting to one? if there aren't, it would be nice to have because if it brought me back to when lights turned on I would have gave it another go. But anyway, everything else is pretty good
Wish the boat moved a little faster, but I like the art from the title card
My arm is done for the day for sure. This was fun, didn't realize it was a race until I took a sec to answer a text and then sped run it. Very fun :)
This is a really pretty game, also very interesting gameplay. I haven't played something like this in the jam and it does stand out as one of my favorite entries so far. The circle that gets less black is a really cool feature, and the fix rotating as well as moving makes it feel more alive
This made me laugh a bunch, it also looks really polished and nice. At first I got really frustrated playing it because I was bad at it, but once you get used to it it's a little too easy. Good job though, with more randomized commands this could be a lot better. Keep it up!
I feel very moved right now, this was beautiful and the most innovative one I've seen so far, this is a great entry, the music was so fitting
This has a really good, unique feel to it, very stylized. I can tell you put a lot of work into this and it's challenging enough
Music is pretty good, it definitely has a brand and is consistent. The art is also impressive. I kind of wish that when you had to make a choice it was a little bit more obvious that it is contrary to just the narrative. Maybe just a subtle change in formatting the dialogue box? Either way it doesn't lessen the experience but could make it better! Nice game
Pretty relaxing, I like the touch of the custom cursor, I haven't seen too many of those. I also like the idea, it's nice and meaningful
Decided to play this because our games have the same name :P I really enjoyed it and felt engaged since you can't really waste any time here. Great game :)
This is art
Very pretty game, love the aesthetics and I think the umbrella floating is super cute. It's also very well done
I think it would be a little bit more user-friendly if maybe instead of clicking each thing you can press numbers. I don't know how many abilities you have in the game but if its less than 10 then that would be nice. Like, you could put "Clap" and a #1 right below so the player knows. Other than that, interesting puzzle that kept me engaged
I kind of sort of fell in love with this game. It's very well done and I love the aesthetic and the humor. The puzzles are also pretty challenging but I like that. The art style too, it's great. This needs more ratings!! Please rate other games so people can find yours
I loved the game but I got glitched out because an enemy got stuck in the top left corner on ancient hallway and wouldn't attack me or move.
I liked this a lot, the icons are super cute and I like the difficulty of it. Definitely didn't do well my first time :P Sometimes I tried to click finish but ended up clicking something else, or clicked off and had nothing in the story. It didn't bug me much but it would be a nice fix
This was really quirky and cute. It made me smile a couple of times, just adorable. I felt like it has so much personality
gameend.JPG Cute game, I like the hand-drawn levels, it was kind of refreshing for LDJam games
Best music I've heard in a submission so far, very relaxing and goes with the mood very well. It was simple but pretty and nicely done
I enjoyed the gameplay and love the look of the menu. I wish it had music to bring it up a notch but nonetheless its still pretty good :)
This is a great submission, the ghost looks so cute when it's in possession form and it kept me wanting to play more, I was really engaged playing this
Your intro scene alone is strong and it kept me engaged in the game, making me want to play more
@catusfelony Thank you! Admittedly I put the most effort into the cat level and I think it's the best one :P Luckily I think that one is a popular choice :)
This is probably the most fun one I have played so far. It just makes you want to keep going even if it's hard. I wish the art introducing the level was a little bit nicer. Little things like font choice can make a big difference. However, i'm considering gameplay in my overall rating and I think it was a hit
Very nice, I like how the choices weren't obvious if they were good or bad, sometimes it's easy to tell and it makes the game not fun if it's too easy. Your preview caught my eye and I really like the art :)
@victor-reiner oh sorry I wasn't clear, I meant that sometimes in OTHER games its too easy. This one does a good job with the difficulty!
First-time jammers gotta stick together! I like your idea and color scheme, I wish it was a little bit more challenging(although I see you made a post-jam update that I'll check out)
Nice music Rory, it goes with the aesthetic which I think is really cute. I like the character design of the blob(s). I could tell that with some extra time this would have gone in a great direction, but what you have is great too
I had fun with this! I just wish the text was a little bit more readable since its close to the color of the background, but that's only a small part of the game so no worries
Great game! It was a really good idea and I thought it was funny when the start kept moving. Those pooping birds are menaces though, I liked the difficulty, kept me engaged
There's a glitch when you try to plug the usb into the computer, it displays as screen and inhibits progress. I almost quit because of it, very cute game though.
I had fun with this game, it incorporated the theme really well. I loved the color palette and thought the art was pretty cute, it all just looked really unified. Good job
I enjoyed your game, although I sort of wish there was a save point so you don't have to keep skipping the dialogue after losing. I like the green and red outlines that you use, it makes it very user-friendly
This game was super fun, I thought the twist was pretty funny, I definitely wasn't ready for it and made it a lot more high stakes than before. I guess my only wish was that the ice cream machines were spaced out a little bit more but that's just a preference(it's probably just easier that way and I wouldn't drown in debt). Ultimately, pretty fun game and I like your interpretation of the theme
I wish it was a little less static, little changes like changing the cursor when you hover over something clickable can bring your game to life a little more
My pea brain can't handle the multi-tasking haha. It is impressive that you were able to make all of this work, it was a pretty ambitious idea for a jam but it payed off
I liked the music a lot and liked the look of it. The animations for picking up and the singing was really cute, and a nice touch
Just wanted to say your game page on itch is really pretty :)
This game was super cute and you did a lot for it being a game jam w a short time limit. I had a lot of fun with it and loved the pink aesthetic. It was challenging at times which is a good thing because it did feel like it was evenly increasing in difficulty. Really nice job
The movements were a little slow for me but I get it's part of the vibe. It shows that you put a lot of effort into the scenery/art and it really puts this game over compared to others because it looks really clean. I wish the title screen reflected that, but I get that it's not as important as the game itself
oof I wanted to really play it but the walls are thin and myself and neighbors are doing finals. Either way you get a 5 for innovation because its pretty cool what you set up.
Had a lot of fun with this game. Played it once not knowing how to rotate but that's my bad for not reading directions. I turned it into a challenge like "lets see how far I can get without rotating?" The answer is not far but it was still fun. Then I played it the proper way. Cool that you have a leaderboard :D Also I like that there aren't too many colors bc then it would be overwhelming. It's a very balanced game and the music was good too.
Wow, this was beautifully made. I'm very happy I got to play it and that I found it on the itch.io explore page. The idea of a virtual museum is interesting and different compared to many of the other games and I wanted to play through it all :)
score.JPG This game was super fun and I hope you get more plays. It was challenging enough to plan out your jumps to destroy the enemies as well. AT first I was holding down the space button and i kept dying but then I understood it activates on key release. That's my bad for not reading direction, but overall this is pretty much a perfect game to me. The art could probably be a little more exciting but my experience was still great.
I enjoyed creative mode(played it first) because it just felt like a little relaxing activity to do with some pretty colors and smooth animations. I tried out survival, but I was kind of having a hard time understanding 😅 To be honest I think I just really liked creative that I just wanted to get back to it when I tried survival so I didn't reallllyyy try to understand,
This was pretty fun, especially bc I pride myself on being able to type fast. I did get fired tho. Great job
Hey, I hope you expand on the concept because it looks really cute :) Would love to see more from this and get some obstacles
I'm glad you found my post and suggested your game, I loved it! I felt very connected to the characters and was very determined to play it to the end(even though I was lowkey struggling to find the mountains lol). I got emotional at the end for sure but I literally asked for it so can't even be mad. Great job! Oh yeah and the music helped a lot, it added to the mood very well and I felt touched by it
It's so clean and has the cutest animations. I love the character and the general level design
@cyborg-studio thank you very much for the feedback, I will be taking a look at the dialogue system and fixing that up!
@gord10ahmet nooooo I will go see what the problem is
I think the little lava spots are cute + your character design. Platformers are hard for me so I watched a streamer play it, but I could tell a lot of effort went into the mechanics.
4ca.JPG Pretty fun, played it a couple times to see how far I could get so I would say it's pretty fun, but I agree with points made earlier about the music
This was a nice game(and made for the compo wow) The music is very good, as I'm writing this comment it's still running in the background because it's very soothing. I jumped right into the game and didn't read about being able to use keyboard so I was struggling a bit(that's on my poor motor skills though, it's good that it's challenging). Also I'm happy you found my game because we on the same wavelength. Only downside is I was so focused on clicking I didn't really get a good look at the changing imagery, just peripherally.
snipsnip.JPG I had a lot of fun with this game and I think it works really well. I like mazes and things of that sort so I thought it was fine and doable. I really like the music in the background and it's still running in the background as I type this review which means it doesn't suffer from "getting old quick". You should fix the typo at the end but also I'd love to see a post-jam version of this with more level because I really liked it :) good job
I really wish everything was faster. I found like 4-5 targets but moved around for a long time and was kind of just hoping for something more to happen
I was caught off guard by the voice acting because it's a very nice touch that are in few ludum dare games, and it sounds good too! I do wish the text could have been a little larger because even on full screen I was struggling a little bit, but overall very cool take and mechanics.
You did a really good job here, I like that I really had to think about my choices and not just jump around. I definitely was more determined to find the right way out and played for a while. I thought your take on the theme made for pretty creative mechanics and your losing screen was pretty nicely made to the point where it wasn't bugging me everytime I lost. Sometimes these things can get repetitive, but you found a good balance with it. The game was too large for my screen though and I didn't see a fullscreen option so this is a downside but the actual final product is good.
The artstyle was very cohesive, the jokes were funny, and I liked the witty banter. I wish the visual that you put on the jam submission page's FAQ was in the game just to eliminate some confusion. I also kind of wish there was a mini notebook when it came time to draw so that I didn't have to keep looking back at the symbols. I also wish that you could do one page at a time and not look at the other ones because it's a bit information-overload, but overall the puzzles are clever and I was impressed by the symbol recognition when drawn and how fast it detects it.
The first time I played, I was absolutely trash at it and did not really understand the mission lol. But on my second play I cleared it. I think in the future it might be cool to start with a tutorial so that the player is familiar with everything they can do before getting tossed in. I enjoyed this game a lot once I understood what I needed to do, and thought it was pretty funny in concept. I really enjoyed the character art, but I wish there wasn't dark text on the purple box because it was harder to read, earlier there was light text when it was dialogue, and I could tell it was done to distinguish instructions from dialogue. Overall, really cute and fun game, I really like the creativity, but I do agree with a comment above mentioned about being overwhelmed, just because that was my experience on the first play. It's a really cool game though, great job! :^) Screenshot (74).png
Silly dialogue and a quick logic game, I really liked the looping animations for some that made the character look flowy
Woooowww, this was impressive. The art is probably my favorite part, and I love the humor and characters/world. Really adorable character design, and cool gameplay. My only thing I noticed is that I think one of the trees was not layered right(or the little guys werent)because they walked across the top of the tree where it looked like they should have been behind it. Not a big deal, and probably a quick fix. Awesome job :^)
Honestly, I really loved everything about this game. The graphics, the music, and the overall style is such a vibe. Very good job, I love the adorable little guys that you have to summon and upgrade. In the beginning I didn't realize that the bar at the bottom was tracking how far we had left and the mana opportunities, so maybe a little indication in the beginning would be nice. I was sometimes a little disappointed when I would summon the little guys right on top of the crystals, but it wouldn't grab them at last minute, I did learn my way around that, but I thought it was something to take note of. I enjoyed this game a lot and can see myself getting lost in the gameplay.
Beautiful visual and auditory experience :^)
This game was so nice to play, it was really sweet and I love the graphics and especially the sky, I love that color combo. Really cute and memorable ending, and plays really well :^) Would love to see more of these characters in the future
Screenshot (78).png
I enjoyed the characterizations a lot and I can tell your team put a lot of effort into making this submission. I thought it was very well-made and the gameplay was interesting. I hope you get more plays! I caught this on stream and it was one of the more fun games to watch overall. Overall, really good job
The first time I summoned the ancestor I was so pleasantly surprised, the transition and color palette change were really cool, and I like how each play mode complimented the other. I'm bad at games but I was very determined to beat this one because I thought it was a cool concept. When I stopped trying to use "E" and switched to the enter button I did a lot better, but I think that's just my typing habits helping me lol. Overall, I thought this was really cool and innovative. I agree with some comments about how audio would probably add more to it, but as a solo dev I completely get not prioritizing that, because it shows you put a lot of effort into the level design, art direction, and gameplay. Maybe after the jam it would be a nice addition :^)
My bunnuy trapped me in this door and I got stuck D: I did play it enough to get the gameplay though and I thought the summoning mechanic was interesting. I wasn't expecting the pattern to update when I reloaded the game, so it's cool if those are randomly generated. I like the character art a lot, and the zoom-ins on the doors unlocking felt very classic. Overall, nice job, I do wish the creatures were a bit faster Screenshot (80).png
I was really impressed by the art, I LOVE the hats, variety in cosmetics. Also, doing multiplayer is so cool. I watched a stream play your game and it was really fun to see all the bikes go by. I enjoy the color palette and combination of graphics. The map is large, and very engaging to navigate around. Really great job. Very funny title and take on the theme and again, really like the world you created.
Oh my gosh I looooove the artwork so much <3 Each sprite is really cute and I love the different variants that were created depending on the combinations made. I was on it for a long time because I wanted to get good at the game lol. Overall, really polished game that looks great and plays well. It was fun, great job :^)
@andriybyelikov We reaallllyy wanted to draw in all the darlings but you got the only ending we were able to draw. The idea was to have them all appear but in a crunch I decided to just do 3
The sprite work is nice and I thought the puzzles were really clever :^)
Really love the look of this game. One really nicely made background, cool font choices, and a fun animation just looks really clean. The gameplay itself I found to be fun, because I like typing :^) Overall, good job, I love the aesthetic and vibe
This game looks so polished and finished. You accomplished a lot with the gameplay and scoreboards. I really like bright colors on a black background personally, so I was drawn to the aesthetic of your game. Overall, all the visual choices were nicely done and I like the little faces on the guys, great job :^)
The concept is very creative, and I like the depiction of Hades as a smoking, Hawaiian shirt-wearing, weirdo running a haunted corn maze. Thank you for playing our game on stream btw :^)
I like the boggy, enchanted vibeee, and the puzzle aspect was cool, I enjoy games that make you think :^)
Love love love!! The graphics are so cute! I love drawing the chalk circles and seeing it activate. It's so fun to think about what cards to use and the amount of chalk that you have, this game feels addicting in the best way possible. You guys truly did an amazing job.
This was a fun game. I got caught the first time and was swiftly punished, but on my second run I figured out how to move better. I really like the idea, lore for the gameplay, and the graphics that go with it. I do think you should expand on this game more after the jam because it's cool :^) Great job
I really enjoyed the vibe of this game, the whole celestial-type graphics, gradients, and character designs are nicely done. The language was funny and added more personality to the game. I kind of wish the text on the cards were more legible. Overall, great job :^) Screenshot (70).png
Really addicting gameplay and love the graphics :^)
Super cute graphics and I love him
Screenshot (77).png
Really cool and thoughtful level design, and the tune added to the ambience :^)
The mustached ghost made me giggle :^)
You’ve made a really nice game! I like that you have to think about the summoning spells to up your level and I think the way you did it with using the lines in the sheet is very creative. I like seeing the puff of smoke after the hits and I think it really adds character to the game.
I enjoyed this game and did have a hard time getting to the end but the whole thing is about experimenting and trial and error and eventually I got it and was enjoying trying out the combinations. I like the stages and how different they are, and the different unlockable items to summon as your progress. Cool puzzle and great job :^) Screenshot (69).png
I love the little guys :^) Really cool stacking mechanic, and I love that there were different colors of guys to summon because it made the environment look more alive and interesting the more they appeared on screen. The music also had me dancing, it added a nice vibe to the overall gameplay
Your choice of music went really well with the dungeon, ghost-type environment. Black and white is a nice vibe that I think pairs well with the art style. I would say it was a bit challenging at first to know which were the summons, but overall, good job and nice game :^)
