A touching story. I love this simple pixel art style! Great game!
Short and straightforward, but you've totally nailed the tone from the really well done pixel art to the music and narrative. Super cohesive and really unique take on the theme. Fantastic work, especially for a solo developer. I, like many pet owners, can relate deeply to the feelings you've expressed so well through this game, so I thank you for offering that sort of catharsis when few jam games would dare to try.
I didn't expect to get a case of the feels during this jam :') Very beautiful story and I always love a good 2-color palette. All the clicking to get the resources was a bit excessive, but otherwise very great job on this!
The few words have conveyed enough emotions, and the pictures accompanying the words are just right. It feels like reading a warm children's picture book, or reading Leo's owner's diary. I love this game.
This is especially heartwarming, especially to those who have lost their pets. And even those who have lost an actual loved one can feel this game's sincere feelings.
this is definitely one of the best concerning mood, I love the black and white color pallete and the music.
I need to see more of this tomorrow, but for now I can say I love the atmosphere and I am crazy to know where this leads me
As someone who had lost some pets, this really spoke to me. you did a fantastic job conveying the message even through this simple story game. beautiful and heartwarming
An amazing entry, hope you get more ratings so you have a chance to win
This was nice, a mix of an emotional story and some nice pixel art. If I could change one thing, it would be to reduce the clicking on the resources, even make them one-click. I would have also like to do more exploring to find the resources, walking around feels better than clicking repeatedly.
Even though I'm not a huge fan of visual novels, I must say that you made a courageous attempt in this competition by bringing a very touching story to everyone. Your narrative was filled with genuine emotion, yet it was expressed with a restrained touch. It's like using all your strength to gently caress a daisy; it's quite challenging. The overall experience of playing the game is very comforting. You did great, my friend.
Really good entry! One thing that confused me was the shovel in the room kept re-appearing everytime I picked up, left the room and came back in the room, not sure if this was a bug? Great game overall!
A really nice style, Great Work!
Beautiful visual and auditory experience :^)
This was an amazing experience.. Thank you for it!
Such a bittersweet narrative game on mourning and closure. Definitely goes to my personal top 3 in LD55. I don’t why but the guardian of the cemetery, despite being a dog, made me remember my precious late cat.
This is such a cute game...!!! If there was only thing I could change, I wish that the interact button wasn't the mouse button! If the mouse cursor doesn't affect what you're clicking, interact could've been bound to Space, Z, J, or any other key, just to make it a lot easier to press (On laptop w/o a mouse, it's a little difficult to click repeatedly) Overall solid submission, cute cutscenes!
Short and simple, nice job! Things like the pickup animation when you're harvesting resources was a really nice touch. I love the use of minimal graphics.
A truly heartfelt entry, especially as a dog owner/lover. Love the Undertale vibes too, art style, music and story is incredibly well executed. Agree with others that clicking was a bit annoying, but other than that this is one of my favs!
