OMG That was amazing! I was so captivated by the story and the white void combined with the dither shader made everything even more immersive and atmospheric!
**Spoiler** The story, although not the most unique, was very good! I also love the metaphors like the beeping clock coming from the instruments in the hospital room. I think Emma will wake up but the ending is subjective enough that we (the players) won't exactly know.
Overall an amazing experience and one of my favourite game of this LD. Amazing job guys!
I had a lot of fun there are some great controls and I just love the visuals ! I had a very fun time playing your game keep it up!
Great visual style, it makes the game strangely calming.
wow. That was excellent. Visuals are great, story is solid and the voice acting was fantastic. Only issue I had was that the mouse sensitivity sometimes felt really high, not sure why that was though because most of the time it seemed fine (tied to framerate maybe?). Otherwise, excellent job, the best entry I've played yet.
Wow! This is more art than a game. Great voice acting!
How can you make this in 48 hours is beyond me :D

really like the aesthetic and ambiance. the sparseness really adds to the feel. got all the way to the end and the payoff is good. really creative use of simple interactions to bring people into the narrative. good job.
Really well made and interesting aesthetic.
Very nice aesthetic and visuals! In a scale of two minutes, I laughed and I was worried. It was really impressive how I was so emotionally taken in a scale of few seconds.

Really cool to see this kind of game in a game jam! The visual effect was unique and effective. I wandered around a bit not knowing where to go at first, but once I followed the beeping, the rest of the story unfolded smoothly from there.

Having the whole thing voiced was a really good call. I also love the graphic style. Also really good use of the empty space in the level design. It really made you feel isolated which only added to the feel.

the voice acting was good, the controls were fantastic for a game jam, i really liked the shader you used, and the end was great!
Very good! Captivating atmoshpere.
The voice acting was really great - it felt grounded but still had personality to it. My favorite part of the game were the annoying clocks! Great work, thanks for making this!
It wouldn't load for some reason :frowning2:
Nice work. I guessed what was going on pretty much immediately, but it was still interesting to explore. The graphics are very atmospheric, though I found myself spending longer than I would have liked trudging towards blocks of grey that turned out to be rocks on the ground. I also feel as though this is a bit of an inversion of the theme, since Emma's sort of getting closer to the "surface" throughout.

This shader is sweet. It is much more interesting to walk towards something from far away when it shows up as a few dithered chunks instead of just a smaller 3d model.
Thank you everyone for your feedback, we really appreciate it!
@eboatwright :/ We noticed some issues sometimes with Firefox users, if that's your case have you tried switching browser? Otherwise you can always download the Windows build wich should be more stable.
great things to see a dev able to pull off with this level of completion during jam 3D in web player? nice

Ooof such a sad story :D. It's really really well done. The visuals fit perfectly with the mood of the game. The voice acting has a ton of character. The sound effects are great and add a lot to the experience. The game is short but packs a punch. I will say that the mouse movement was a bit too fast and made me slightly dizzy at times but maybe that's just me. Great game!
Intriguing setup and nice payoff for the story! Cursor was really sensitive (web gl build, mac osx, playing with the trackpad) but it didn't affect the experience that much. Environment and props were cool and the visual effect really tied everything together into a stylish cohesive game!

What a lovely game. I included it in my compilation video series of a bunch of LDJAM games! https://youtu.be/joQCxT9jLww
That was great! Really creative and impressive in such a short amount of time. Well done and congrats on your entry!
I just finish it, it was amazing. The audio experience is very immersive and the visual effect is interesting. All is cohesive. Maybe the control are bit slow and they don't work with azerty keyboard.
Overall, it's great job.
...I'm a little sad now.
Extremely emotional. Amazing shader work / art style. I had no idea what I was in for before playing, and the ending just .... got me.
Superb game!
Wow, absolutely my favourite entry I've played so far! A unique art style, great sound design and even some visual gags, rounded off with an interesting narrative. Well done! I can't believe you made this in 72 hours, great job!
Interesting story. I especially liked the voice acting.

Love to see different things out of game jams. It felt really personal. Thanks for the experience, keep it up.
It's a very visually interesting story, I don't even know how to describe that art style but I love it. It was a good story and I liked how all the interactions were very differnt and the player got a well-rounded experience.

WOW that was amazing! what a great experience. I love it when people think outside the box. And your execution was wonderfull. The scene that you can't quite see clearly, the materials, the sound effect, and the voice over did a great job too. 5/5 one of the greatest games I've played in this jam. Well done. Cudos to everyone in the team!

Wow, this game is excellent.
I'm a sucker for a nice strong story and while this one might be fairly unoriginal, its execution was **spot on**. Everything felt so smooth, so natural. For 5 minutes, I *was* Emma in a strange limbo state. I mean, there was just something about the timing and order of the events that got me completely immersed.
It was pretty easy to guess what was going on, but the experience was still pretty powerful. Also, really nice voice acting and *great* sounds overall. I think this is one of the few games where music could potentially be harmful to the experience. Everything from graphics to sounds was perfectly balanced, nothing was missing and nothing was redundant.
Just one thing - it's a pity it can't be played fullscreen, I think it could add to the immersion even more. Also, I want more.
This game might be my favorite so far.

Really great! Brief but still manages to trigger strong emontions thanks to the great work you put into sound and voice. Graphics look good too, and the filter sure plays along well with the rest of the mood already set by the audio. Again, great work!

I'm always looking for these types of games during LD! Loved it, very emotional and the voice acting together with the graphics style really sets the tone in a superb way. Kind of reminds me of The Beginners Guide.
Great work!

interesting! The slow walking speed take a long time to navigate :)
Congratulations on the game, I love games that guide us as if we were floating, very beautiful art and also excellent history, I thank you for the opportunity to have known your work, a big hug to everyone, and I await your evaluations regarding my game.
Solid presentation that works well with the mysterious story. While I'm probably the worst person to judge a game like this, given the tendency for me to find bugs and glitches, I did think most aspects of the games worked. Personally, I would have liked to see just a bit more hand-holding, so it would have been easier for me to figure out what to do at certain parts. Similarly, I would have been more compelled with the story if there were just a bit more hints and direction on what's going on. Still, I realize the mystery and metaphorical approach was the intent, and it's probably likely I'm just a dense person. Hopefully you've enjoyed (and cringed) watching me play!

Thank you guys for deciding to tell a heavy subject story in a game form! I believe game media is really well suited for these kind of experiences! I liked the look of the game, it really added to the "unknown". Would love to see more games like this, good luck!

Just loved it! Congratulations on your entry, it was very good!
Hello. What a good project. I really appreciated the main aesthetic which reminds me a shader that I did a few years ago. I share them for free on Itch.io - take a look at the shader named Scratch. Its renderer could be better than yours. I like the female narrator voice and this weird mood. However I downloaded your post jam version and I don't understand why I cannot play in fullscreen mode. It's a little bit frustrating for me playing in a little window. Overall you did a solid entry. Well done ++

Blown by your game, looks wonderfull! Really love the atmosphere of your game, and your staging just is excellent. The art direction and the sound design are gorgeous, and the voice over works perfectly, really a wonderfull work and one of the best entry I played so far
Wow, just wow. What an amazing aesthetic, really really impressive. And the audio, what a marvelous work, from the voice acting to all the effects and implementation, just wonderful. Out of curiosity: was it implemented through FMOD/WWISE? When hitting the name there's a bit of pitch shift/doppler if you move while the sound plays, and for a second I was hoping this was somehow a clue xD Really, very happy to have found this game!
The atmosphere is definitely well set in this game. The audio makes the gameplay a true experience. The idea of the game is to tell a sad story and it does this very well with the help of all the other elements, and I found the graphics a little too disturbing (this is personal taste, of course) and they are very unique indeed. Nothing to suggest here, just wanted to say congratulations for the great work!
@waltsontanaka Thank you for playing and for noticing the small doppler effect on the 3D sounds! It wasn't implemented through FMOD/WWISE but with unity standard audioSource component. If we had more time we would definitly have used FMOD or WWISE though :)
