I loved it! The only thing that bothered me is "Presss space to continue" button, it wasn't pixelated, which harms the pixel art effect of the game. I think grid based walk would fit the game better.

I loved it! The only thing that bothered me is "Presss space to continue" button, it wasn't pixelated, which harms the pixel art effect of the game. I think grid based walk would fit the game better.
I liked the music!
I loved the idea. I didn't like it takes too long to restart when we die, because it's very easy to die.
I loved the message of the game.
I liked the graphics and the humour.
Great game for 48 hours, I especially liked the graphics.
Nice idea.
I loved it. A question, do the memories change (like we don't see some) according to if we made mistakes? Or do we see all the memories at the first play?
I don't know. I had tried so that less blocks would be valid, but then the game became too easy. Thank you for playing the game.
@benjamin-armour Thank you. There isn't any win state, like normal Tetris I guess.
@manimal Thank you. I did try increasing the limit by one, then it became almost impossible to score.
@p1nkmaria Thank you. The music belongs to my friend, Talha Kaya. https://open.spotify.com/album/2v6Pek60AmgujTyY0EgAxZ
Nice game for the first entry.
Nice idea, but I really hated the controls, there were no reason not to use the up and down buttons. I wish we could simply press any key to continue the game when we died.
I loved the idea :D I'm sharing it with my introvert friends.
Nice game.
It's the most polished game I've seen in LD42. Everything looks great, I just didn't like the game doesn't restart instantly when we die. I died a lot, mostly because I stayed too long using melee attack.
Such a nice game with a great idea. I don't know if that's only me, but sometimes he didn't jump when I was running at edges. It felt like a bug to me. You don't read input in FixedUpdate, do you?
Nice game, I just didn't like the movement, it has too much acceleration.
You didn't code the movement FPS dependent, rather than delta times, did you? That's the first thing that came to my mind.
I loved the idea of the RAM consumption and the music. It reminded me of Hotline Miami, as well.
I think the difficulty is too harsh, I wish we restarted the level when we died.
I loved the artwork, the gameplay is interesting. The game needs instructions, even if it will be on the game's web page. I still have no idea how to surpass the blocks, they stopped getting removed with mouse click after a while.
Maybe we can have a score, which adds the feeling of progress in the game.
Also, win64 version somehow didn't get allowed by my AVG protection, I needed to play x86.
A nice execution of the theme. I think the bombs were too rare.
The idea has a potential.
Such an innovative game!
Nice game! Is there a successful end condition?
Innovative game!
Nice, unique game. I liked the art style.
Interesting idea!
Interesting idea. I wished we could see what items do, like it's said before.
I loved the idea and visual style, but couldn't pass beyond the 13. Am I missing something?
I could like the game if the sound effects were better. It put me off. I wonder why you didn't use another sound effect.
Kudos for creating your own engine with a game destructible spheres.
My favourite Ludum Dare 45 game so far! I loved the graphics and gameplay.
Impressive game!
I couldn't find where to hide. The game restarts from right the beginning, I wish it didn't.
I liked the idea, but didn't like how we have no control over where the items will be spawned. I had to leave the game after the 3rd or 4th level.
Cute game! 5/5 for Mood.
@zoglu I did.
@catusfelony I am not sure what it is, neither, but it can be a cat. I was thinking of a cat when I made its ear.
I liked it! Humorous, fun. The only thing I didn't like is waiting too much when we die.
16797 is my score. I liked the game.
Graphics are %/5. But the controls are buggy for keyboard, Q moves and A swaps. The game is confusing.
I couldn't pass the first room. I clicked on everything for several times.
Cool game! 5/5 for Innovation.
Great art! I think you should set your Ludum Dare entry page's cover picture, I thought this was a game without graphics the first time I saw it in Games section.
Cute game, I liked it!
I liked the idea, it was fun.
I couldn't pass the guards. But I liked the graphics.
Nice game, I enjoyed it. It was too easy, though. My condolences.
I liked the graphics.
Cute game!
Nice visuals.
Cute game, great mood. The collision of the ground is a problem, I died just because the game didn't understand I wanted to move.
Such good graphics and mood!
It has potential, but I didn't like the controls and camera movement. I got stuck while jumping on the walls.
The camera was too shaky, but I loved the story.
It worked for me in Firefox. I wish respawning took much less time, I kept dieing.
It needs a tutorial, I think. I liked the idea.
I loved the game. I couldn't play it fullscreen, though.
Nice game! I also made an Earth defense game.
I have no idea about how to play this game. All I can do is fly around.
@travisa @robowarrior1982 I updated the game with auto firing, thanks for the feedback!
@joleon I added explosion sound variation (based on pitch), I hope you like it now. There is actually increasing difficulty, the meteor speeds increase each time you destroy one. Thanks for the feedbacks!
@brendev Thank you. There is actually increased difficulty, but it stops at a certain point, I thought the game could be impossible if it was harder.
Thank you all! @other-wb there is actually a known bug in the game. Meteors get destroyed even if a rocket isn't hitting them. It seems like it detects a meteor-rocket collision, but I couldn't find out why.
@archimagus Thank you! The difficulty increases with each destroyed meteor.
Great idea!
Awesome visuals! I don't like clicker games, but this was one of the best LD46 games I played.
I couldn't get past the first enemy. What should I do?
It was such a beautiful game! I loved the visuals, mood and mechanics.
I loved the slo-mo!
Great game for compo!
I found the gameplay a bit confusing, but I liked the visual style.
Great graphics, original idea!
We both made space games about protecting Earth. Yours is much better.
Exe won't start on my Windows 7.
"Mono path[0] = 'C:/Users/Ahmet/Downloads/Deep Root/Deep Root/Deep Root_Data/Managed' Mono config path = 'C:/Users/Ahmet/Downloads/Deep Root/Deep Root/MonoBleedingEdge/etc' Initialize engine version: 2019.3.0a10 (d046aa12c0d7) [XR] Discovering subsystems at path C:/Users/Ahmet/Downloads/Deep Root/Deep Root/Deep Root_Data/UnitySubsystems GfxDevice: creating device client; threaded=1 d3d11: QueryInterface(IDXGIFactory5) failed (80004002)."
The best compo game I played in LD47! Perfect combination of memory and action.
I loved this game in general. Graphics, mood are excellent. I couldn't manage passing a level with spikes, though, I'm going to wait for a walkthrough video to see what happens in the end of the game.
Cute game!
I loved it!
@gonzalol Thank you. We have a walkthrough at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsidcHZWK38
Thank you everyone!
@krapht I'll look into it. Which platform did you play the game on?
Thank you all!
@beats The player finds the boy who controls him. They stare at each other. At that time, the Game Boy gets broken and the player disappears. The boy looks at us, thinking he is also controlled by someone else.
Thank you everyone, especially @ms-annotation-x !
I know the control system is faulty. I plan fixing it when I have time from my normal works.
Thank you all!
@stefan-b Thanks. I have seen a few LD47 games that use the similar ghost mechanic, like https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/tempus-locus I guess this was inevitable with the "Stuck in a loop" theme :)
Great game! I loved the usage of the theme and the humour.
Nice interpretation of the theme!
Cute graphics and mood!
One of the most original entries!
I liked the idea!
The graphics and idea look great. I wish the game could be played with keyboard, I don't have a controller.
I liked the game in general, thank you for making it also English. Maybe the option buttons could be numbers, instead of A-B.
The game looks very nice. I couldn't figure out what to do after I clean the blue cup and put coffee to red cup, the game rewinds when I go to the left after being done with the cups.
The graphics can be better. It seems like that you haven't used Point filtering for pixel art. Also, some of the assets (like cups) are inconsistent with the other assets.
I'll rate the game once I can complete it.
Thank you, I completed the game. Great story!
I forgot to give another critique: I think it would be better if the thought texts were at the bottom of the screen. It's a bit hard to read them at the top.
It's a great game! I had fun dragging the cowboys and making them hit things.
I liked the visual so much.
I loved the visuals and the mood!
It seems like I'm the only one, but the fisheye effect discomforted me, I couldn't play the game :( Maybe an option can be added?
I loved the graphics! I wished the ghost's movement was faster.
I really liked it! It reflects how depression feels like.
Though, I didn't hear any music, I would think the game had no music if I didn't read the comments.
It kind of reminds me of an old psychological horror game I made, "Self". It was about a man who built an underground jail for himself and harmed himself. He was trying to get out just because he wasn't sent food anymore. I can leave its link if it interests you.
Here it is :) https://aslangames.itch.io/self
I liked it! We had also used the ghost mechanic for our game, but your puzzles are better.
Cute game! It was hard for me, I wish there were more frequent checkpoints.
I loved this game! I got stuck after getting wire cutters from the machinist, though. Is there a walkthrough video or something?
Thank you for the video!
Relaxing game!
That's a creative idea, I loved it.
I liked the game in general. I also agree that different options than suicide would be much better.
Besides that, I would use a pixelated font to match the pixel art of the game.
Nice game, I liked the interpretation of the theme.
Amazing visuals and audio, it's polished enough to be a Steam game!
When I defeated the demon, nothing happened, the game froze. Then the game restarted Was it normal or did I miss something?
I loved the graphics and mechanics. The mechanics reflect the clumsiness and despair of the tiny protagonist, who has to fight against a dragon, very well.
It was too hard for me, though, I had to quit the game and watch a walkthrough on YouTube to see what happens next.
Great game! I was addicted to it, I had to force myself to not play it anymore.
At the first time I saw this game, I thought it was like a 3-match game, but I see that we have a unique game here.
Thank you everyone!
@ansh-mishra I have just updated the game. Now the door doesn't block us.
Fun game! I especially liked the layer effect.
I liked the idea!
I loved the visuals, atmosphere, idea and music. But as everyone else said, the game is really confusing, I didn't have so much fun clicking random buttons. More feedbacks would help.
Also, is the video you use not compressed?
As far as I understood, we are talking about a video. Maybe you could export it to a format like mp4, which won't take as much as space like sequental png's?
Interesting execution of the theme! I liked the music, as well.
stop.PNG I'm stuck at this stage. I press N, O and all other keys but nothing happens. Is that a part of the game?
Great work here!
I always thought games can be a medium for expressing our thoughts, feelings; conveying messages. "Her Bedtime Stories" is an example of that. This game has a powerful message.
Great game!
All I didn't like is the restart part not being instant and executed with any key. I think it's an important thing to consider in a game where we keep dying.
I loved the music and visuals, it gives a great 80's vibe.
Nice idea! I liked the game's aesthetics and the execution of procedural levels.
Great game! I loved the graphics and musics, especially.
Lovely graphics!
Interesting concept!
Hilarious game, I had great fun playing it!
Interesting game! I loved the idea.
deeperinsideerror.PNG I am interested in this game, but I can't play :(
I did, it still didn't work.
Nice game! My only complaint is the difficulty of the controls. It could be simply 1-3.
I liked the idea!
Lovely idea and execution! I had great fun while playing.
I loved the music but it seems like there is a problem with the looping (maybe there is some space at the beginning or the end of the music file).
I couldn't find out how to get the upgrades.
Thanks everyone!
@yigit-doruk Actually not knowing how long the customer will wait is a design pillar of the game. I want the players to take risk between selling the beer cheap or letting the customer go.
Loved it! It was a funny trip.
Nice game! It would be better if we could restart the game after the failure.
The best game I've played in LD49 so far! Brilliant.
My only complaint was the puzzle at the end. I had to play the post-jam version to be able to beat it.
Great game! I loved the atmosphere and mood, amazing work.
Great game!
As someone else said, I wish the text was faster.
I liked the idea and the graphics. Some levels were too hard, though, I gave up after a Flappy-Bird-like level. A skip button would really help.
Great mood and visual style!
I don't have a phobia of insects, but the enemy creature genuinely scared me.
Nice idea. I loved the graphics.
Screenshot 2021-10-10 00.47.25.png I'm stuck here.
The mood and graphics are so lovely. I hope you continue on this game.
Great mechanics! The game's controls would be better if we could move the existing elements, though.
5/5 for mood and graphics! Also, great interpretation of the theme.
Haha, fun game! I especially liked the graphics.
Nice horror game! I think the controls can be improved.
Great interpretation of the theme!
Nice take on the theme and genre! My only complaint is the repetitive sound effects.
Such a creative idea! 5/5 for innovation and theme.
Haha, nice game! I like chess based games with stories.
Hilarious!
One of the most original ideas I've seen in Ludum Dare! Loved it.
Such a great game that reminds us the inevitability of the death. I especially loved the usage of the music, how its speed changes.
I was waiting for a visual novel, due to the image in the description. Nevertheless, I had so much fun playing the game, I liked its humour. Nice job!
Nice game. My suggestion about the visual side is adding a simple background, even if it's just checks.
Thanks to everyone who gave feedbacks! I will increase the heal effect in post jam.
@vladadamm You are right about everything. Music would complete the game, but I don't have composing skills. I had thought of putting a time limit for the game, where an invincible enemy would kill us, but I didn't want to borrow too much ideas from Vampire Survivors. Maybe I should had.
I made progression harder on further levels after reading your comment.
@pierce-brooks They spawn faster.
Thanks, everyone!
@haastregt The protagonist aims the closest enemy. I should have made this more clear.
Thanks, all!
@ismael-rodriguez I didn't design the game as a humourous game, though. The story was about the inevitability of death. I can't manage drawing pixel arts that look serious, maybe it's what gave a funny feeling.
@simon-rahnasto Thanks, Vampire Survivors was my main inspiration. I don't really remember my highest level after the final balancing, but it must be close to 8th level.
@carla Thanks. I uploaded a post-jam version of the game today that also addresses this problem.
@damonwakes Thank you for the detailed feedback. I worked on the problems like enemies getting piled, low effect of health upgrade, etc. on the post-jam version.
The witch considers the Y axis, too, by the way. But the pivots of the witch and enemies are different; witch's at the bottom, enemies' are at the center. I guess this situation caused the problem.
Original idea. I didn't find the controls intuitive, though. Maybe we could choose the side of the hands with left-right arrow keys and use up (or down) key to use the both hands?
Fantastic audio and visuals!
Short and fun game. Great visuals and music!
Nice game, I especially liked the visuals. Is there a lose condition? The character didn't die even though she got hurt too many times.
Lovely graphics! I'm not entirely sure about how we stun the death, though. Is this like Simon game, or are we supposed to press the keys right after they are shown?
Great visuals, well done!
Nice game. It would be better with feedback for enemies getting harmed, they could get temporarily red.
Brilliant idea!
One of my favourite Ludum Dare entries so far. Excellent work!
Nice game.
I tried playing the game with my gamepad at first. I don't know if the problem was with my gamepad, but the aim sensivity was too low. I played it with keyboard & mouse then. As said before by other people, audio from the zombies that approach us from back would help the game.
I'm in love with the art style.
Difficult, but cute game! 5/5 for Innovation, Graphics and Mood.
Nice game, I especially liked the pixel art. As other people said, the connection with the theme could be stronger. And maybe we would fire the missiles automatically, rather than keeping the mouse button pressed?
Nice bullet hell. I enjoyed playing it. I couldn't restart the game after I died, though.
I gave 5/5 for all, great work! The ending made me giggle.
Great job here! I especially liked the ending message.
I liked the visual style!
Great interpretation of the theme!
Lovely interpretation of the theme. The UI could be better, though. And more game elements can be added if you want to develop the game further.
Haunting game! I especially liked the music.
Did you upload the game to itch.io?
Great game, especially considering this is for compo. Such an original approach to the theme.
Such a beautiful game!
Fantastic game!
Fun game! It would be better if there was an exit button. And if the game would restart instantly, rather than the waiting for the murderer to approach us.
Nice game, I especially liked the visuals and the story. Some suggestions: * Let the game restart from the game scene, not the main menu * Dashing with right click would be easier than shift key
Such an interesting idea! I loved the art and the story.
Thanks, everyone!
@rashcan I used this package: https://github.com/h8man/NavMeshPlus
10SecondPainting.png
Great game! I loved how fun and original it is. Also, loved the sound of your cat, too.
Lovely story and visuals! I wish I could vote this game.
Fun game, I loved the idea! The lines were funny, too.
I loved the idea! Fun game. I won the game at my second try.
Loved the visuals and the idea!
I liked the idea and the music. I wish I had someone to play the game with.
I enjoyed the game so much as someone who loves the split personality themes in games. I got stuck in like Level 5, I wish the game was easier. Excellent visuals and audio!
Fun, original game! I agree with @nicholas-maddalena and the suggestions about making the castle types visually noticable (rather than just colors) here .
Also, the timer don't have to cover the whole game area, but it can be at somewhere like the top of the screen.
To be honest, I found the game too hard and unfair, especially because of the time limit and blind jumps. Some visual consistency is needed, but I liked the character sprites.
Fun and unique game, I loved it! I also loved the game wasn't punishing the player.
I loved the characters! My feedbacks: - The fire SFX is too repetitive, IMO. I had to turn off the game's audio. - Game needs some more balancing, I know how it's hard to balance a game like this in 48 hours.
A game idea that made me wish I thought of before. Brilliant!
Thanks, @kizilejderha and @justine-olshan ! Yes, it was supposed to be a compo entry. I had chosen the wrong category while submitting the game.
Innovative and fun game! I also liked the visuals.
I loved the visuals and audio, they reflect the mood perfectly.
My feedbacks are about UI/UX. * I had no idea what the icons at the left top meant. Maybe there could be names next to them. * It took me some time to understand that the green and red buttons meant "yes" and "no". * A more readable font could be used. * The "close game" button.
Nice visuals. My feedbacks: - The ending was confusing. No monsters got spawned after I killed some monsters. I wasn't sure if that was a bug or really the end of the game. A screen that shows we finished the game is necessary. - It was too easy, the enemies can be more challenging. - I liked the visuals, but they would look better if the pixel size was consistent in all sprites.
I liked the sprites and music. The game confused me, though. At first, I thought the other characters were enemies. I guess the deers are our enemies, but I couldn't figure out if there is a lose condition in game. The game should have been clearer about its mechanics.
I think it would be better if the camera didn't rotate as we moved. It gave me nausea.
Nice game! I especially liked the dynamic music pitch. Honestly, it made me think that there would be a creepy twist later.
Impressive work! I'd like to see this turn into a full game.
By the way, the link to the source code doesn't work. I guess the repo is private now.
@martenscedric I was going to make this game all open-source and join Compo, but I'm using a paid asset for ChatGPT integration. However, I'm considering sharing my own scripts. I've just uploaded the prompts to Itch.
@adrien-tremblay Thanks! Yes, An "End Game" button appears at the menu where we choose the character we speak. It seems that I should had made it more clear that player has to do this to end the game.
@zerovirus Yeah, sometimes AIs work as unintended, ignoring or misintepreting some parts of the prompts.
I'm aware that the game can easily be completed that way. There used to be a line in the prompt that made getting the magic number harder, but then sometimes it would be impossible to get it from Zeus.
Haha, great interpretation of the theme! And as said before, I wish it was easier to read the jokes while playing the game.
I loved the visuals and music.
My feedback is, our units can be visually more distinctable against the background. And I didn't understand they were our units till I selected them.
I loved the story!
The rotation of the camera after changing direction gave me a little motion sickness, though (I'm too sensitive for that). And maybe clicking anywhere on the screen would start the giving direction mode, and mouse up would start the flight mode?
Great idea and game!
I solved the first riddle, but then the "Solve" button wasn't responding anymore. Is it intentional or a bug?
Well done! A game I'd love to see in mobile.
My only complaint is, some colors get too similar.
Lovely visuals! The game was too hard for me, though, I couldn't pass the 3rd level.
Lovely and interesting idea! I wish it would take the game shorter to restart when we failed, though.
Creative interpretation of the theme and great visuals!
I didn't understand there was a time limit, though. Or did she leave because she was bored?
Loved the omnious and insane atmosphere!
It felt like an anti-adventure game. We are given puzzles, but it's hard to understand the logic of the puzzles (if there are any). It's unclear how to use the inventory items, either. But all these ambiguity works perfectly for such a game.
Fun game.
Do the colors of non-purple balls have meanings?
Impressive mood. I digged the visual style and audio of this game. Black metal vibes delivered with stick figures.
It isn't such a fun game, I guess we are supposed to find correct transition points in a vast area. I thought the transition points were spawned automatically after we get distant from the level's start point when I was playing the game, to create a false sense of being lost.
But I guess this is a game focused on the mood, great job on that.
I liked its innovative gameplay once I figured out how to play.
My critiques are, the player sprite and background's colors are too similar. It's hard to see the player. The window size stays too small in 4K screens.
The music was kind of repetitive.
Lovely idea you have!
I loved the idea of playing as a spirit.
I couldn't understand the controls much at first, like we needed to bring the planchette to YES to end our word. Maybe there could be an UI button for that?
Controls are my only critique. Fun game!
Nice idea!
I think the issue which other players described as "laggy" is the pixel snapping. A camera that moves inside the pixelated game world doesn't look smooth.
Thanks, all! I'll consider giving player a skill to repel enemies in my future games. That problem is a common critique I get on my jam games.
@cogcomp Yeah, at start exactly 7 crystals are spawned. This seems like a design failure now.
Thanks all!
@deformhead Exactly. I published a post-jam version yesterday, which resolves that hitbox issue exactly like that. https://aslangames.itch.io/fiend-zone/devlog/718100/post-jam-update
Thanks, all!
@krummsakura Yes, and a music would be great, as well. I didn't put ambient sound or music to jam version as I am unable to create them, but I'm planning music made by an actual composer in the future.
@weirdo-studios Thanks! The post-jam version resolves some problems including the hitboxes.
I'll play yours, too.
@constance Thank you very much!
Yes, I'm aware of those problems. I am yet to resolve that pixel bleeding problem with the tiles. I agree that walls shouldn't be above players in sprite order.
I loved the mood of this game and highly appreciated how you prevented backtracking.
Spoiler: I was expecting the player character would somehow be punished for his Faustian crimes against the innocent.
Nice game.
In addition to what other jammers said, it would be better if our summons were blue and enemies were red, I think.
Fun game. I liked its art style, as well.
My DualSense didn't work with this game, but playing with keyboard was still enjoyable. The Itch name of "ld48" was a bit confusing.
Good job!
Great atmosphere here
Fun and intuitive gameplay! Lovely pixel art.
I liked the idea of not auto-collecting the money, but maybe it could be better if hovering mouse would collect them. I'd love to see a wider variety with more challenging enemies and a UI element that shows progress.
Great job here.
I'd buy this game if it was in Steam. Good job!
Screenshot 2024-04-18 215354.png It froze at me at this 4-4, though.
Great idea and art! Nice apple reference, too.
The issues I see is, restarting the game takes too much time and sometimes bubbles can spawn from out of nowhere, just right at the player. It gets impossible to restart the game after 2nd (or 3rd, not sure) game over, it even happens in the Windows build.
Great potential this game has.
Lovely graphic style! Summoning the golem was a delight.
Is this your own engine?
@ilari That's impressive
That's an amazing idea! It's so cool that this game can be played with a MIDI keyboard, too.
Great idea!
The game would benefit from the left half that we can spawn our letters being visually different. And maybe the blurry letters at the background would disappear once the game begins, because they make it a bit hard to focus on the game itself.
I liked the interpretation of the theme here.
I couldn't understand some parts of the game. What does the star upgrade do? I assumed it would increase the slot of the skeleton spawns, but it didn't. Does it increase the fill speed? Do the crystals drop from destroyed enemies?
Sprites look too small on 4K screen, as the game isn't scaled according to screensize. So I played it in my 1080p screen.
Mechanics are genius!
Besides being able to see the next berg to be created, maybe the game could benefit from a button that erases bergs in last-to-first order, in case of soft locks.
It seems that you forgot to remove the old build (which the 'SampleScene' can't be opened) of the game from the LD page.
Game jams are great places for gaining experience for matters like management. I'm sure you'll do better in the next jams.
I loved the idea and would like to play more of this game in the future.
I agree with koolruz's feedbacks here. I hadn't noticed the ghost, it was the last option I tried in the second level.
Creative and addictive. I'd keep playing this game as a mobile game.
Lovely idea and sprites! I especially liked the wind effect. Some points,
* The game would be better with more clear visual feedbacks when we drag mouse to create the winds. Even a simple line could work. * The background (sea) looks bland and dark compared to the sprites, I assume you hadn't time for background. * I thought the white ships crashed when they reached the temple and played that particle, in a sense that the Faith score decreases. * Hard to read the title screen.
Your idea has a nice potential, good job!
By the way, I didn't notice the game had audio till I saw your patch notes. It's almost silent at my side.
Lovely and hilarious!
My critique is, it's hard to focus on the game, especially at the part we read the game rules. Not being able to play the game fullscreen makes it harder. At some point I started to ask the jurors random questions just to see the game content, rather than trying to win the game.
5/5 for Innovation, Mood and Humour.
Great idea and art style you have here.
I was confused when I wasn't able to summon new skeletons, because the UI prompt still showed me the key pattern and the keys could get highlighted even if I wasn't allowed to summon. Took me a while to get 1/1 shows the limit.
The level is a bit too large, but not such a big problem by itself. The boss could kill me instantly, I wish we could restart from the boss fight start point.
Good job!
Lovely and fun!
How does the score get calculated? Do you compare how many pixels matched with the rune?
Haha, great entry! Top notch mood and creativity. And it's amazing how hundreds of ants can be in a WebGL game here, did you use DOTS?
For some reason it didn't run on Firefox, but works in Chrome.
Keep up the good work!
Fun game here! The drunkess mechanic made the game even more interesting.
Thanks, everyone! @kobato-games Yes. Once there is one pet left, game ends when you reach a certain score with the remaining pet.
Thanks, all!
@roroto-sic That's a great score! I guess I didn't score higher than 15 there.
Thanks, all!
@aviv-levy Yes, that's a bug I noticed, too. And no, the game only has one ending.
Thanks all!
@wendel-scardua Yes, I'm aware of that bug. One of my post-jam plans is to fix it.
Why did they miss the prompt? I think the blinking logo was distracting and maybe the prompt should be somewhere out of the Tamagotchi screen.
Thanks, all! @cataclysmicknight We will release a post-jam version with extra content.
Thanks all!
@tigerj Thank you for the feature! Yeah, personalizing the pets would feel increase the effect when the pets die. As for the jumpscare, I personally dislike sudden and loud jumpscares, and I read there are other horror game players who share this dislike. It was the reason I especially worked on fading in sprite and sound effect there.
5/5 for graphics and theme, I loved them! I had difficulty in controlling Tinygotchis at first, mostly because we also did a Tamagotchi game, but we used a different control scheme.
My only critiques are the music volume was too low and the UI was small in my 4K screen.
I liked the art here.
An issue about this game is its UI/UX. The biggest issue is card texts are hard to read, because they are too small and the cards are moving. An indicator that shows player can click on circles when game asks player to choose a position would help, too.
Keep up the good work!
That's such a fun and cute game :D
Nice game, I especially loved the visuals. This game has a unique feeling.
It's a hard game. If there is actually a pattern in feet movement, it's hard to notice, it felt too random.
One thing that can be easily improved is directly restarting the game scene after failure, instead of turning back to the main scene and clicking a button to restart.
Keep up the good work!
Great work! I especially liked its humour and art style.
I couldn't get past the catapult level, either, though, I'll try this game later again.
Great art and atmosphere!
The minigames were too hard for me, except for the fishing one. I couldn't find out which animals to trick the customers, either.
That's so pretty...
I liked its weird ambience. I got stuck in the sheep part, had no idea what to do next. The story piqued my interest.
An issue is how large the game world is, it takes too much time to reach anywhere we want.
Keep up the good work!
Cat, rat, bat... That was such a cute game, I especially loved its 1-bit aesthetics. Well done!
Loved the visuals! Nice entry.
