I got that level 4 bug too :(
Cute character.
Looks and plays well. My biggest issue would be that enemies movements can be a bit too random. And the attack range seems awfully tiny.
That's it. I like it. Nice work.
Some bugs: - My hull and shields hit zero but I still won. - When I won I hit "home" and the game froze.
Some animations in the dropping of tiles would be great. And the implementation of weapons and power also.
I enjoyed it. The music is cool and the graphics are clean.
I was happy to see that there was indeed an end screen for this one. I managed to beat the genie and buy a nice painting while I was labouring away making gaudy jewellery. Damn tricky genies.
I like the voxels, and the gameplay was well-balanced. Perhaps if there were an indicator above the jeweller to show you how long they had to complete an item it would be better. But I ended up timing the animation well enough.
The most professional game I've seen yet.
Rainforest should do something about their terrible working conditions.
At first I wasn't sure what box went where, until I noticed their sizes.
Nice game. Frustrating at the end. My poor guy wasn't fast enough.
With some more love put into the graphics this game has all the makings of a hit.
I really enjoyed the gameplay, and the difficulty was balanced enough to be edge-of-my-seat exciting.
Nice work! Really enjoyed this.
I think I kept hitting the same object with all 3 of my ships. The game over was abrupt.
I like the visual effect of the objects approaching.
And the hand-drawn art has a nice unique style to it.
Excellent humour and music. Gets hard fast!!
The tetris of my fever dreams. I found that hugging the wall slows the pieces dropping.
The rotation speed makes hard mode insane.
Really enjoyed it. I love a good tetris game.
Controls are difficult with the turning arc, but this is a decent snake.
I love bunnies.
This game made me dizzy from all the spinning and shooting and bouncing and shaking and smoke.
I loved it.
Had some trouble at the start but once I hit top-speed in the second level it became fun and challenging to navigate. I reckon more speed in the first level!
The weird theme + music reminds me of a fever dream I once had.
At one point the critter model moved out of the balloon model and I suffocated?
Nice work on your first jam!
Not completely sure on what weapon did what, but I managed to figure out a good strategy using buildings to protect myself from the yellow bad guy. Got hectic at the end!
Would be great with some clearer weapon info. And hitpoints if I had any. I'm not sure if I took hits. Looks like a couple before the yellow guy exploded.
I love the graphics, the humour, the theme.
But it's so hard! I struggled to get past the 3rd level!
Some excellent puzzle elements. Nicely designed.
Nice work, did you do the art? It's cute. I love the style. The UI is okay, has that minimalist feel. The music was excellent. Nice to see a game made in Godot as well!
Some criticisms / suggestions - Chicken didn't come up once! - I was getting full points for giving 1 item to a person who wanted 3 items. I get that you should give them max items to clear space but a bonus would be good to the points. - Since you only have 3 items max at any given time, I'd say don't worry about the RightClick + Shift function, and just have RighClick = drop all items. Make it a 2 button game. I didn't use the shift key at all.
Took me a little bit to figure out how the unique system worked. Perhaps if there was different feedback for dragging a unique into a tray that has 0 uniques left vs dragging a box onto a wall by accident.
But once I figured it out. I enjoyed it. Nice colours and atmosphere. And the boss is a classic middle management dingus. Awesome stuff.
Perfect.
Movement is a little floaty and it seemed to move slow, but it could have been my machine.
I really like the mechanic of limited abilities. Added that extra element that fits into the theme well.
Not really sure what's happening. I am warped instantly to either another part of the level or a completely new level. Would love some user feedback to explain what's going on.
The cornering is tough! And those voices are terrifying.
It was hard, but there's definitely potential.
Graphics and sound effects are great. The whole game gives me this old arcade feeling.
A touch too easy. I held onto my firewalls until needed.
Confusing Babe reference.
Will play again.
@gui-lima, the skull was designed to push other items out but we ran out of time! That's why it's so big.
Thanks @redhermit, we tried the "figure it out yourself" path. But you're right, a simple screen saying what does what is probably the better way.
Thanks @calixjumio, @enver-arco, @noah-j, @troligtvis!! We're glad you enjoyed the game!
@furiouswitch that's exactly right. The art was split and a bit rushed at the end. If we were to continue making this game we'd definitely apply the same style on all assets.
Thanks for playing!
@ljay the big skull was supposed to knock other items out of the bag but we ran out of time. So now it's just big and annoying.
@tuism @historymaker118 @niker107 thank you for the feedback!
Thanks @blushine, @speedysloth99, @mza. Appreciate the feedback.
Pulled a fast one on us with that last level.
The weapon choices are great and the movement is responsive. Feels good to play.
Bazooka is OP!
I found running in a circle around the entire map was a pretty good tactic. Do the enemies spawn more after a certain awkwardness or when you destroy them with your attack? It seemed like there was only 5-6 huggers for the longest period of time, then I killed them and suddenly dozens of huggers started chasing me.
Would love to see more enemies!
Nice spin on the Super Meat Boy style.
The title screen appears to have a memory leak if you leave it running for a couple of minutes.
Ooof. This one was a noodlescratcher.
I love the whole realism of it. You built a proper site and twitter page, and even the company letter was excellent.
Found myself more confused than anything else. But I love what you've done with it.
Couldn't quite make out how it ties into the theme. But perhaps it was more evident later on. Unfortunately I didn't get to finish it.
> On the rightest room you can put together the four chairs and freeing up two very needed spaces
DAMMIT, that's what it was.
Nice art, frustrating game! Love it.
