Nice little game :) I can see this game becoming a lot nicer with animations and more fun elements (like funny speech bubbles/audio). Hope you will continue working on this :)

love the hook xD great overall feel, and funny af ! gg
the game is really funny, the skull is bigger than the slot, just fyi. ;)
My favorite game I've played so far
This one is great! Loved it i would surely play it more as a full fledged game :D, great job!
I really enjoyed this! When the theme was announced, inventory management came to mind for me too, but I wasn't sure a great way to pull it off, but I think you did! After a few rounds it all started making more sense and I was doing much better in the game and having a lot of fun! Like other people mentioned, a more full fledged game of this seems completely possible! The constructive criticism I have: While it stated on the game pages, having more details in the game on what items do, like mouse / hover over descriptions of the potions and such, could be beneficial to making sense of things faster for the player.
@gui-lima, the skull was designed to push other items out but we ran out of time! That's why it's so big.
Thanks @redhermit, we tried the "figure it out yourself" path. But you're right, a simple screen saying what does what is probably the better way.
Thanks @calixjumio, @enver-arco, @noah-j, @troligtvis!! We're glad you enjoyed the game!
This is one of the games that you love so much you wish you had more of it. Amazing idea and implementation. The graphics and audio are so cute and complement each other. I had so much fun playing it. One point I noticed was that the graphics style didn't all fit together, some appeared to be out of place like more than one person was working on it and had different styles and may be different tools they worked with. Not a big deal though, just an advice if you want to make things better.
Great job!
@furiouswitch that's exactly right. The art was split and a bit rushed at the end. If we were to continue making this game we'd definitely apply the same style on all assets.
Thanks for playing!
I love this game! seriously such a great game overall. the theme and music, and random art styles all mashed together. plus the gameplay reminded me a lot of a card game. I definitely will be playing this one some more!
You're all too right, the art is definitely mashed together. We didn't have a dedicated artist, so between design, coding and music we just did the art where we could, because we felt the mechanic and atmosphere would make or break this game more than the art style. We would definitely like to flesh this out a bit more after the jam! Thanks all for the feedback and play time
Really good idea, I love it even if I'm terrible at it, only killed 6 monsters... Drag and Drop is sometimes tricky and if you miss it a bit then instead of healing your character you will just throw the object away, making a bit of frustration
Except from that I really enjoyed this entry, good job !
Wow, it was realy funny! I've defeated 3 monsters before I died. I'm going to play this evening in my stream and go furner;))) BTW: is this sprite should be so big or I found bug? ewa.png
This is so funny!!!! thanks!
Whow, a very fun game!! well done! and I had no performance problems playing your game too! If there is anything I think could be better is the TRADE text. Green and brownish yellow are not complementing each other well. Also it is off a different font than the text Defeated: x. Just very minor details, otherwise I really like your game, everything is smooth, the graphics is amazing, it fits the theme very well and still has a twist on it, without being similar to other entries.
The game idea is really cool, really liked it. Feedback on items can be improve for a better understanding of them but everything else was very fun. i liked the music too, work well.
very cool like the concept
@ljay the big skull was supposed to knock other items out of the bag but we ran out of time. So now it's just big and annoying.
Very cool idea! I love me some dungeon crawling. My only real feedback is having a tooltip or some sort of UI that lets you know what the item is so you can make better decisions for who needs what. Most of that is intuitive (it becomes obvious that arrows go to the archer) but then I get a teddy bear and I have to wonder... is that some sort of magic bear or is it just junk? And while I wonder my party dies. :D
Interesting idea. I wished we could see what items do, like it's said before.
Nice game and cool art.My score is in 6 monsters.
I loved it. I could see this being a great mobile game with some work. Plenty of potential.
Great concept and execution! I'm pretty bad at it but I'm having fun.
fun game! really frantic! beautiful music!
Oooooh, yes this one's interesting :id: - Everything felt intuitive at first glance but it wasn't really completely intuitive - I tried to play without reading instructions and found I couldn't figure out where to put the arrows or some of the stuff - turns out what was actually unintuitive was that I wasn't sure whether I was dropping the items correctly onto the heroes - some visual feedback that your item is in the right place and letting go will confirm the drop would be good. - Given that it's currently a desktop game and not a mobile game, I feel like this game could benefit from click then click rather than dragging. It feels like it works better. You can keep the original control scheme in but allowing for click then click would be good. - The frantic pace is good, though the pace should probably be dropped a little for desktop, would probably be perfect for mobile. - Minor gripe - the pixel art are at different scales - some pixels are larger than others.
I enjoyed this, though I feel it was a little heavy on the rng side of things with how dependent you are on getting the right things out of the drops to keep your party alive. The graphics and sound are well implemented and it got me to smile. Good jam game!
This is quite a fun and chaotic game, but I think it would've really benefitted if the items had tooltips. Inventory management in this is hard as it is, and not knowing what each potion is for just results in me throwing out a lot of stuff I don't know what to do with. Plus my first go I didn't even know what I had to do because I didn't read the whole description. Always assume your players will not read your post!
@tuism @historymaker118 @niker107 thank you for the feedback!
Really cool concept. It was fun experimenting and finding out what each item does. The pace does escalate pretty quickly, as the screen starts to fill up with tons of bags and boxes of all sorts. I would have liked to see the difficult ramp up a bit slower. Also, I wish there was a bit of variety to the enemies: maybe enemies who spit items, or enemies that light loot on fire.
Great game! The collisions were a bit awkward (It was quite hard to give an item when you're in a rush), but the game looked great (Especially the items), and sounded great. I think the game was too complicated at the start (It took me a couple of tries to figure everything out), but in general, great job!
I played this without reading the instructions and knew what to do. That is a big plus. Some of the item's function were confusing. When i dragged the heart onto a player, it did not heal the player but it was packaged as a gift.
The audio and mood are great and the artwork is great.
Thanks @blushine, @speedysloth99, @mza. Appreciate the feedback.
