Very nice game, and I liked the idea, and the implementation of that idea. Nice job!

Very nice game, and I liked the idea, and the implementation of that idea. Nice job!
Very fun game! Really love these cute little puzzle games, and you nailed it! The only thing was, the area you could click on the pylons was far too small to me. But, ignoring that, great job!
Very nice game! Kinda confusing, but the core gameplay was fun, so good job!
The gameplay is very engaging, but I found the 'chain lightning' to be very broken. Other than that, though, this game is very fun!
Very good game. :) Some variation would be nice, though.
Definitely. The game is very fun, but it is quite hard to understand. But all in all, it is a great game!
The movement was quite difficult, but it was nice to have a word processor. Overall, nice work!
Awesome game! Loved how you interpreted the theme!
Very great game! The models are great, and the shooting was satisfying (I just mean it felt like you really were pressing the trigger) and for 48 hours, I couldn't want more. The only problem I had was a bug with the camera movement, but I still had a bunch of fun!
Absolutely incredible. 5 stars for everything from me! :D
The gameplay is brilliant, and the graphics are great! Nice work!
This game was really fun, and I could easily play it for much longer than I did. Great job!
It is very hard to understand, so I think it would be massively improved with a tutorial, or even just an introduction on the game page, but once you get it it is very fun! I love how the music really adds to the mood!
Nice game! I don't know how, but somehow I beat it in about 30 seconds, basically by going ham and buying everything I could. But this game is incredible! To make such a game in 48 hours is mind-blowing. Great job!
This is a really fun game! I feel like you kind of have to remember where you came from, though. I had to backtrack a lot, as well. I also think that there also is too little pressure around the fact that you can run out of power. I know it sounds that I'm being really negative, but I loved this game, and just thought I should point out what I thought could be improved. In reality, none of these problems are nearly as big as I made them out to be. Now because I feel like a critical jerk, I'm gonna list what I liked about the game: Somehow the shooting seemed much more satisfying than other Ludum Dare games I've tried so far, and physics simulations really added to the experience without being obtrusive, another thing I've noticed in other Ludum Dare games. Overall, epic job!
This game is really good! I had a bunch of fun playing it! Good job!
Found the mechanics to be similar to a few games, but it was great fun and I loved the implementation!
Nice game! The gameplay was solid, I loved how you restricted the controls, and despite not being the best, the art and sound really added to the game, and combined the humour really set the mood for the game. Great job!
The controls made it a bit tedious, but the idea was good, and the implementation was great as well.
Pretty fun game, but I think your view radius is too small. It gets pretty tedious to move four times, then wait, then do that all again, until you find something. Other than that, though its great!
Nice game. Enjoyed the mechanics, but the controls seemed a bit awkward. The simple sound effects added to the mood nicely.
This game is great fun, and the art was kind of funny. The music sounded kinda weird, but this game really shouts 'weird', so that works for this game. Overall, awesome job!
@damoy No. I had never done any proper pixel art before, so for my own safety I kept to the NES palette (Not a great palette, but it did the job) for all of the sprites and an 8x8 grid for most of the sprites.
@maggardjosh Yeah, the reason you couldn't charge while holding an item was because of how I did the logic. Basically, it looked at every item on the screen and checked to see if its X position was lower than a certain number, and if it was, you wouldn't charge. This means that if you were holding an item and on the charger, the item's X position would be lower than that point. I probably could've fixed this, but I didn't have time. Thinking about it though, I could've checked the Y position as well, but its too late now.
@vkmicro Thanks for taking the time to write such helpful feedback! About the stuff about programming for 3 weeks, I wouldn't say all of my experience is from those 3 weeks. I tried Java once before, and followed a 20-long tutorial series about making a game, but I never understood it, and really only got out of it stuff about syntax. To be honest, I have been trying to make games for years, though a lot of that I wasn't, its been on and off, probably 90% off, but could never find a tool that worked for me. I always used Scratch, and found it really useful, as you can practice programming without having to memorise syntax, and you don't have to manually load images. Around a year ago, I made a game with almost 200 scripts in Scratch, but at least 50 of those must have been duplicated, because I copied a bunch of stuff instead of using lists. But I'm rambling, and I think I have some sort of problem with writing short stuff. Basically, thanks for your feedback , and I'll be sure to work on it, if I can be bothered to click on that Visual Studio icon ever again.
It's a shame you didn't manage to finish this. Just by playing it for 30 seconds, I can see it is something I would like to play. :)
Pretty sick game! Seems like a very simple game, but that is the beauty of it.One thing is, it seems very hard to get a good score. I got over 95% coverage with 10 pylons, which I think is good. But that doesn't matter. The thing I love about this game is you can decide for yourself if you did well, as it shows you your statistics. The letters do add something special to the game though. :)
Quite buggy collision, but the game was fun and I liked how the dungeons worked. It was hard to see how much you were spending with no UI as well, but overall, I really like this game!
The audio and graphics were amazing, and the core gameplay was also brilliant. Well done!
Cool game! The level generation seemed a bit strange, but for a jam, does the job just fine. Great work!
The atmosphere was great and the endless runner mechanic, while not being a new idea, was very fun. The web version was quite laggy, but that is understandable. Like an earlier comment said, if you spend a few hours adding some mechanics and content, and ported Android and/or iOS and it would make a great mobile game!
Very nice game! The music was awesome and the art was great in how your avatar changes when you have less power. The mood was great, and the mood was perfect! The only thing I can really complain about is the jumping, which I found very slow . But other than that, this is great!
Really lovely game, with beautiful art. The gameplay isn't really that unique, but somehow it doesn't take anything away. Seriously, great job!
This game is amazing! I had a blast playing it and wanted more when i finished.
The gameplay was solid, and the graphics were amazing (apart from the buttons, they seemed out of place). Overall, great job!
Very nice game. I love the glowing effects around the sprites!
Cool game! The graphics were amazing, and a great aesthetic! The gameplay was a bit repetitive, but other than that, great game!
Really funny game! Not really much to complain about with this one.
I really like the bouncy platforms. They seemed a bit buggy but still massively added to the game. It seems fine, but if you want to turn it into a full game, you would definitely need to improve the art, maybe add a story and more content, then fix the bugs, but once you do that, this game would be worthy of a great game!
Pretty awesome game! Loved the mood, even without sound, and was simple enough to learn in a few seconds. Great job!
Nice game! I love how you don't really have any health, just a meter that can't go above a certain point. The menu graphics were very blurry (But the in-game graphics were awesome!), and the text was quire hard to read (I would also suggest making the text pox either out of the way, or slightly transparent, it's quire annoying). Overall, though, good job!
Cool game! The method to turn land into water was a bit unclear, but it played well, and looked and sounded great! I would recommend getting rid of them things that are made when you construct a sea wall (They're a bit annoying), but overall, awesomejob!
Fun game! The physics seemed to work well, and I was very fun!
I think that the audio, while it sounded great, didn't fit the game's anxious feel. Also, when you are on a planet, A and D should move you left and right, without you having to take off. I don't know if this would make the game too easy, but currently it's incredibly hard to get oxygen and fuel.
Despite that, the game's amazing to play, well done!
Great game! The gameplay was good (Apart from the controls), the art looked nice, and the sound sounded decent. The only thing I could think to suggest is to use The Binding of Isaac's control scheme, using WASD to move, and arrow keys to move.
Cool game! I love the abstract art style, and the music's great as well! The game's fun to play, and the messages at the end of each day are a nice touch. Great work!
While I question the choice to use Kongregate, the game was quite interesting. It seemed like some weird mix between a puzzle game and something else that I can't really put into words, but it turned out good in a weird way. There were a lot of bugs, but overall it was quiet an enjoyable game!
Cool game with cool art! I think some of the mechanics could've been explained a bit better (I didn't really know what to do), but the game played quite well and I really felt the pressure of not having enough space!
Awesome game! The sound cues are very nice (Except the armour pick up sound, it's far too loud), the game looks amazing, and I love how you can change the hold sizes, and the idea in general is just fantastic!
In terms of constructive criticism, I would recommend there being much less asteroids for the first minute or so, as the game feels far too frantic when you don't really know the mechanics. Also, I would ditch the physics-based mechanics for holding gold and armour. I think the game would feel much better if the player had a greater sense of control, and I believe that ditching the physics-based mechanics in the hold would do this.
However, take what I said with a grain of salt. It's very clear from playing this game that you are a much more experienced game developer than me, this is just my opinion on how the game could me made better, this game is amazing as it is.
Epic game! The concept is hilarious (Though a bit disturbing), the graphics are the best I've seen this jam so far, and the audio is incredible!
Very enjoyable game! While the mechanic isn't something new, it's plain to see from the amount of polish and what-not that this game was developed with a technical focus rather than a design-based focus in mind, so I feel like it should be rated that way. The AI seemed to work well, and the graphics and sound are incredibly good for having been made in 72 hours. The only thing I can thing to give criticism on is that I think the game would be much better if the game showed what number your string of numbers and operators would make. My brain's still fried from doing Ludum Dare myself, so I made quite a few stupid mistakes because of this, but that's really the only negative thing I can say. Overall, it's just a fantastic game!
Cool game! I really like the graphics & audio, and the idea as well!
I think the audio would be better if it were a bit muffled. I think this would enforce the fact that everyone's having fun but you. Also, the controls are a bit awkward. Using X and Y to move the crates renders using WASD basically impossible. Another thing is that the room where you stack the crates is just a tiny bit too small. I don't know if this was intentional, but it made stacking crates on the 4th layer very awkward if you wanted them to be fit very close together, as you couldn't jump over them.
However, it is nevertheless very fun and enjoyably to play!
Very nice game! I love how it starts out really relaxed, then gradually becomes more frantic to the point where you're moving your mouse so fast that you can't keep up, then you realise "Aarrgghh, I need more parking spaces" Just overall it was an incredible game.
In terms of criticism, the only thing I think to say is to use less colours when spriting the cars, but that's about it! Great Job!
@viater I did actually plan to add the option to buy more units, I just didn't have the time. The same goes for for an incentive to keep the customer. Thanks for your response, though!
@adroitconceptions Permanently displaying the clients is a great idea, I should've thought of it! There is a win/loss contition, but I started implementing it with about 5 minutes left of the compo, so it's nowhere near as prevalent as I would like it to be. Thanks for taking the time to give me criticism!
@applite Thanks for your feedback! I had a really hard time coming up with an idea, so I didn't actually have any plans for the game (I mainly chose this idea because of how it would give me a chance to try out UI)
@stames There actually is a cost that gradually gets greater, but I implemented it with literally 5 minutes left, so it doesn't work very well and isn't very prevalent.
@totalaj I don't know why, but when I programmed it, I made it so when you changed a customer's loyalty or rent, it multiplied one by 0.9 and multiplied the other by 1.1. So if you pressed 'Charge more', the customer's loyalty would be multiplied by 0.9 and their loyalty would be multiplied by 1.1. Because 1 x 0.9 x 1.1 != 1, this means that stuff like what you said happens. I could've easily instead done multiplied by 0.9 and divided by 0.9, I honestly have no idea why I didn't.
@corqi I would've loved to have added more content, but I simply didn't have the time.
@dokalfar When I decided use this idea, it was more with the mentality of 'I'll be able to try doing UI', rather than 'I'm going to try to make the game awesome!'. The idea I chose didn't really have any way to be more fun, and I knew it at the time when I chose it.
@ravenflame Thanks! I wanted to have an upgrade system from the moment I fleshed out the game, but I sadly didn't have time.
@digital-bacon Thank you for your comment! Sound wasn't really an objective for me, but if I had the time, I would've implemented some.
@kiirohinabi Wow, you really read into it! I didn't intend it to go that deep, but I know what you mean. I'm guessing what you're saying is that the game's kind of like (a very, very, very poor attempt at) Papers, Please. That game has a really monotonous, helpless feeling, but it's amazing at the same time. I can see how you see that, and I might try to make another game that really gives that feeling (If I can manage to design something like that). Thanks for your comment, it really means a lot to me that someone took so much time to give me feedback, and even some insight into my own game!!!
Cool game! The game has a very nice humorous touch, and the light-hearted sound cues combined with the serious music creates a ridiculous atmosphere that makes the game just incredible!
The only thing I would suggest is some sort of timing system when eating things (Perhaps the closer you are to them the less you slow down), that is really forgiving at the start, but gradually gives you less and less time to time eating enemies correctly. I didn't watch your stream, due to me making my own game, so I don't know if you planned to do this, but I think it would add a nice touch to the game. Also, I think it would be nice if there was a shorter death animation.
But overall, great job, Tim!
Great concept, and a very well made game! I feel like the grid didn't really work as a background, but I really loved the frantic feel, and it feels awesome to just get into a rhythm of pressing the right buttons in the right patterns!
Nice game! The concept is hilarious, and the music awesome, but the jumping is really awkward. I don't know if that was the point, but I would definitely recommend altering the jump in some way (Maybe make it so you jump less high, I was always overshooting my jumps). Other than that, well done!
Cool game! I love the mechanic of how the more that get through, the less space you have to dodge. The graphics and music are very nice, and I like how you can buy upgrades between waves.
One thing I would say is that I don't like the ~5 seconds at the start where there's nothing. Being able to die in 1 hit means that rounds can be very short, and that ~5 seconds at the start gets a bit tedious after the first time. The other thing I'd say is maybe provide some more detailed stats about weapons. I died in the second wave because I bought the mortar, not realising how slow it was.
Overall, though, brilliant game!
Awesome game! I love how you have to manage digesting food and eating food, it really creates a frantic feel for the game that the music somehow compliments nicely. I think that the game would feel better if the food weighed a bit less (It's currently really awkward to fling food at the guy's mouth). Other than that, the game's amazing!
Cool game! It was very simple (Which I liked), and the way the player's sprite rotates is a nice touch. The collisions were a bit buggy, but it didn't matter too much. Overall, great job!
I didn't really understand how do do some of the things, but the game has that same emotionally gut-wrenching feel that I got when playing Papers, Please, and the graphics and audio were very well done!
Awesome game! The game's resolution was a bit high, but in game looked incredible, and played incredibly well as well!
Great game! I love the literal take on the theme, and the game has a great feel! While the graphics aren't amazing, the jumping animation looks awesome! There were a few bugs where I couldn't jump, even though my meter wasn't empty, but other than that, well done!
Great game for a first attempt! The game seemed to play well, and it seems like every few attempts there's something new to play for. I think a different progression system could be used (e.g. every few minutes the sharks go away and you have time to repair your boat and buy upgrades), but overall, well done!
Great game! The collisions were a bit awkward (It was quite hard to give an item when you're in a rush), but the game looked great (Especially the items), and sounded great. I think the game was too complicated at the start (It took me a couple of tries to figure everything out), but in general, great job!
Very funny game! The concept is hilarious, and it's well executed as well!
I think the food digestion mechanic could've been explained a bit better, the game looked good, though the jumping seemed quite floaty, making movement quite awkward.
As an overall game, however, it was very fun to play!
Very well polished game! The graphics and sound are great, but I thing that he asteroids come too quickly. I found it's more down to luck than anything else, as you only really have 1 turret at that time, and it has to be in a position where you can actually shoot it. You could just wait for the asteroid to spawn, then build the turret, but I feel like that that defeats the whole purpose of building up a defence. But, in general, it was a great game to play!
