Didn't quite got the concept but at least it looks nice :)
Seeing something other than Unity or GameMaker is plus too :)

I could not really understand how to play this one. You could have put the controls on the site at least :/
Oh well... From what I got, game looks nice, combat is a little clunky and thats where I ended, as I couldn't understand how to do other stuff :(
I had great fub with this one, but the broken audio system is kind of off-putting to be honest. It tears my ears when many of those high-pitched sounds start to play at once.
But I think that if you could have more time you could have work on audio issues too so I won't take that as an issue :)
Music was good, graphics are nice, gameplay is very smooth and fun factor is on the top!
Really love this one! I followed it since I saw some posts during Compo and imidiately went to check it now. Was not disappointed :)
This game looks and sounds astonishing! Gameplaywise, it plays very smoothly + logic games are my thing so kudos for that too :)
I experienced one kind of annoying problem though and that is whenever i bump into something with the battery it falls. I think this was intended but it kind of breaks the flow.
You definitely deserve more ratings. Kinda sad people are not checking your game out :/
Anyway,GJ and keep up with good work! :)
You have to put out the source man... Rules of the Compo... I'll bookmark this and check it when you do so, this should not get ratings at all, even when it looks/plays good...
@simple-ghost yep I saw that after I posted... Can't seem to edit it for some odd reason :/ I already voted, really nice for 48h :) Also found out you are from Slovakia too, nice to meet fellow mate here :)
Very well made guys! I especially liked graphics and sound design with this one.
Gameplay got a little repetitive after some time, some variation to it would be really nice, but alas I had fun and that's what matters :)
Very nice little game you have here :) Love the concept, gameplay is very smooth and the music - as simple as it is, the vibes are floating from it :)
I don't know how to reach you and don't know if you would look back at my game for a reply so if you can, go read it there please :P
Also, I'll add my review for this in few minutes, gonna try it right away :)
__Gameplay:__ This game was quite short and there's a lack of replayability, at least for me. But it was really cool concept that was actually original, as many games I've played were just a clones of sort (not that mines better in this regard :D )
__Graphics:__ I really like the graphics! Animations although simplistic felt about right, drawings were kind of cute, I really liked your style. It reminds me of something, but I can't quite tell what :/ (I meant it like the style, not that the art is stolen or something, just to clarify) Also, I didn't seem many people invest time to intro of sorts so Kudos for that too!
__Audio:__ I really liked the voiceover you did :DIt surely made everything more hilarious and helped to build up the mood. Although music would definitely benefitted the game, as they would any other game basically (being it some atmospheric background noise or some real music piece) so I kind of miss this one.
__Overall:__ One of very few games I had played here which made me smile, humor is definitely there. Graphics and audio were really nice, although I missed some background noise or something as I stated. It could have some more depth gameplay wise, as it felt quite short, even for an LD game.
BTW sorry for writting this late, had to do sth really quick, couldn't reply faster :(
Controls were a little too floaty for my taste, but other than that, no complains here!
I found the game fun, quite challenging, graphics where simple but fitting. GJ!
This game's amazing!
Were it not for somehow glitchy graphics, it would have been solid 5/5 as they can be a little harsh on the eyes.
Gameplay felt very smooth, nothing against sound design either and the fun factor, well, I spent half an hour with this one so I think I can say this game is surely fun to play :P
This is quite fun!
This got me hooked! I'll bookmark it to finish it later, I want to try other people games too :)
Good job Phil!
Once I had H H to drink the tea :D RIP :( Anyway, not half bad! Good for type-writting practise :)
This was really fun experience!
It took me a while to get a grasp of the controls but this is solid 5/5 stars! I don't really know how my time flew by playing this game, graphics and sounds are very fitting, gameplay feels very good once you invest to it.
GJ! Definitely work with it, you have very solid base :)
Controls are little funky and no audio being there kinds of kills the mood, but overall, I had fun with it :)
What to say... Time passed by really quick with this game!
I got scared from all the tutorial text at first but when I started playing it, it was easier than I though it is.
Game was really fun, although not much challenge was included, but alas the fun factor is what matters most for me and I enjoyed it a lot!
As many people here said, you should definitely do some more levels and make it a game, its really fun to play :)
Visuals really fit together nicely, UI doesn't feel slugish as with most of these Jam games (ain't nobody got time for that :D but you did and it shows :) ), sounds are from some pack as you stated so no comments on that... (although they fit nicely too I would say, good choice :) )
GL with your future endeavors!
This game is definitely something that could be built upon!
It just needs some more mechanics as it is pretty repetitive... But the idea is there and that counts :)
Plus definitely work more on controls. One thing is hard controls and another are kind of broken (and this fall more to the second category in my opinion as I had few bugged instances when I was turning without me holding the key etc. )
I surely had fun, graphics are fitting and you have one of the best UIs I saw at any game for now so kudos for that too :)
It was kind of too slow paced for my taste, but alas not half bad :)
Graphics are nice, even when being simplistic. Minigame was quite hard to control, but it is an interesting concept to say the least that could be further build upon.
This was really great experience! Kinda sad for sound not being yours, but graphics are top-notch, gameplay is very smooth and as I said to few, I'm really into puzzle games so you hit the mark for me :)
Very fun experience, good job guys!
This was very good game!
- Graphics: Very good graphics! Quality of models, texture work and art style is general is golden. - Sound: Sound design was on high point too. I especially liked the music. Sound effects definitely added some depth and gone perfectly with the art style of the game, keeping whole art direction consistent throughout. - Gameplay: I died first few tries till I figured out the controls, but I managed to win on the third try. Yey! Anyway, I love this take on Pacman (or at least it felt to me like it), although Orange was constantly chasing me, regardless of if he saw me or not, much like the Red one (your description said something different...) but this is just a nitpick and it didn't ruined my experience at all. - Overall: Very fun little game! Quite short, but time flew by really quickly with this one, which is always a good thing. I liked the art style and gameplay felt really great. I didn't found anything niether Humorous nor Moody though, don't know exactly why you opted to this category but thats your choice :)
GJ guys, looking forward for your next entry in next Jam :)
EDIT: sorry for double post, it somehow lagged :/
Editting this out so it doesn't take half the page :)
The controls could get some tuning, it is very hard to control this game.
I liked how you implemented the theme, not killing player by running out of power but just make it harder for him.
Graphics and music great too, goes nicely together :)
This game is really neat! I have yet to finish it though, it's really though and unforgiving, but that's what make it fun for me. + Puzzle games are from my cup of tea so you hit the mark for me :)
Also, I'm commending that you made this completely from scratch! I wanted to do the same but I quickly trashed the idea, as this was my first Compo and LD in general and I didn't want to take any risks :/
Anyway, GJ with this one!
Wow, best one for now! I think you could work with this concept little further and do a "real" game from it in future :)
Really great job!
I encountered few bugs, although non was game breaking or anything so I won't take them to judgment :)
Just to let you know, you can way overfill your power bar + you can go diagonal when you press two keys at once (it neeeds its timing but it can be done).
Also, I think this was intentional but teleporting is kind of pain in the ass when you do it at the bottom :P
I need to commend using of something else than Unity or sth like that, always a nice thing to see :)
-----------------------
So for the review.
__Graphics:__ I liked your style. It felt consistent throughout and wasn't off-putting.
__Audio:__ Here I must say I felt some shortcomings. SFX got very annoying after some time, but I would adress this to not perfect sound system. If you could work more on it, it would have been surely better as many problems I had personally originated with when audio was played (it was quite inconsistent and damaged my experience). Also, music - I can't stress this enough in most games I played. Music really builds up an atmosphere, even when it is some atmospheric noise track or something.
__Gameplay:__ Well, I didn't found much of a challenge in this one and think it is lacking something. Other than that, game played nicely.
__Overall:__ This game has really some nice graphics. Although there could have been done more in the sound departnment and more content gameplay wise, I can imagine that was quite hard to manage in 48h along with the engine (at least it seems you've done some, correct me if I'm wrong). Anyway, I had some fun with this one :)
It took me a while to understand whats going on... But when I got a hang of it, it wasn't so bad :)
Music really suits the game, kudos for that :)
I really liked the mood of this one. Music adds to it nicely, visuals included. Overall its not half bad :)
Game could definitely get some extra polish on top but I had fun with it so have my kudos :)
Also, I would opt-out from Humor and Mood category, as your game is niether moody nor humorous :P
Well, kind of unexpected to see quiz game here :D
But hey, I had fun with it! Mood was good, kudos for using something else than Unity or GameMaker as many here are too. Also caught the Konami Code reference! Brings some childhood memories (and also the times Konami was actually good...)
Also I found out I'm not as stupid as I thought I am (suprisingly), which makes me happier :)
This was a very good game!
- Graphics: I'm just digging them. I always liked this minimalistic artstyle and being the 90' kid these games always bring out good memories :) They all fit nicely together, although I was not able to try them fully at their best (I'm on notebook and this games really kills it on Ultra :( )
- Sound: I could imagine some music playing in the background, kind of sad there is not any. It would definitely enhance the experience quite a bit. Sound effects are nice and fit the game.
- Gameplay: I had a little hard time moving around, jumping gaps, but I got used to jumping mechanic pretty quickly so take it just as nitpick. Overall, game played really nicelly. It doesn't felt that repetitive as I thought it would from the images and was actually quite good balanced.
EDIT: Totally forgot about Humor and Mood! Mood was definitely very well set and the humor... When I got pierced by the spikes in the beginning cause I am a dum-dum the sishkebab quote killed me (quite literally). There's definitely some sense of humor in this :)
Overall, I had much fun playing this! I need to finish it when I get home, I'm out right now. But I'm pretty impressed even with little of what I tried. Job well done :)
I'm curious with what you'll come up with next Jam, looking forward to see you there :P
@antii-havikko Yep, you can lose by going out of power. As the game gets faster, its harder to collect batteries, so if you would get far enough without collecting any, you could die of "energy deprivation" :)
I already taken some notes on what could be done better, what to add,... I also created GameJolt page for this game where I plan to add future updates :)
@sivael yep, I think that movement could get some impovment. I started with Temple Run like snaping to tracks and later discarded it. I just made the snapTargets closer together to make it feel more smooth, as I had not enough time left to rework it completely unfortunately :/
@zdeno Well, I never really attempted to achieve some High Score really, I was mostly just testing :D
Only time I really tried to get the furthest was in the trailer, where I had 1036m.
Here goes the new High Score of 1936m :)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlxhW8UXOn4
BTW, I found some weird bug while playing it now for longer and that is game starts to stutter after a while for no apparent reason... Weirdly enough, going to Pause menu fixes the issue :/
@modalmodule I don't know, WebGL works as smooth as Standalone for me, but I've seen some issues with it on one stream... Well, Unity's WebGL is still broken I think :/
Notes taken about perspective, I will start fixing the game after few days, have work to do + I want to try other peoples games too :P
@Zelos well, this was my first attempt at Blender and I never done any texture mapping really too, so you could call it "beginner's art" if not "programmer's art" then :P
But I'm definitely more of a coffee2code machine than artist by every means :)
About the perspective, yeah, I have some ideas for basic blob shadows implementation that would fit the overall "art" style of the game and would hopefully solve half of the issues people have with it. I'm giving this high priority as this is the most commented issue. :)
@gonutz no hard feelings :)
Thanks for your thorough input!
I'm currently working on fixes so I'll try to do something about this :)
Also, I had snaping to tracks there and in fact, it is still active. I couldn't do the snap right so I basically made tracks extremelly small, which makes it look like you have free movement and feels better than what it was before but it is still couple of predetermined positions close together.
I'm definitely planning to work more on the snapping (in fact, I got an idea how to make it right from your notes now! I'm really grateful for that!), as I would like to go mobile with this one too :)
I surely will @philstrahl !
Yep, I'm unfortunately aware of that, don't know exactly what causes the issue though :/
I don't know which version you played, if LD one or updated one... But both have their own issues with generator. I basically reworked whole generator for the updated version, as it was one of the major bottlenecks but now, sometimes 3x2 obstacles spawns too, although they shouldn't :/
Oh well, I want to fix that in the next version, just need to find some more time to work on it again (time is scarce for me unfortunately :( ).
Thank you for playing! Without your motivation, I would probably never even try to participate in LD so I'm really glad that my 'mentor' of sorts tried it out! :)
Just a sidenote - even the 3x2 obstacles are jumpable :P Just not when there is something behind and you are going blazing fast unfortunately :/
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1H1ZEB0BlYA
You need to include data folder too, the exectubale you posted on itch.io is not usable.
At least the WebGL works :)
It was interesting experience to say the least, altough I didn't quite catch the theme :/
This game was really fun to play! I kind of forgot that I should rate others too :D
GJ on fun factor! Graphics looks fun, sound work is great and gameplay feels really smooth.
Also, very nice to see something other than Unity and GameMaker here :)
Judging by the names, you are from Czech Republic aren't you? :)
Anyway, game plays nice, graphics and audio are really good. After a while, the puns got a little annoying but overall they were surely nice addition.
Pěkná práce hoši! (Good job guys!)
It could surely be optimized better but overall, pretty fun!
Windows site says it doesn't exists...
Anyway, I played the WebGL version and I must say I like your theme implementation.
Running down on power doesn't mean end but new beginning + you kind of have to die, and you seeing your power-less bodies scattered throughout the level was very nice touch too.
Graphics are nice, gameplay wise wasn't half bad and I surely had fun with this one!
I need yet to finish it though, but I'll definitely return to this one :)
Wow, this has some great atmospehere!
I tried it on Hard (cause I'm the hardcore guy you know :P ) but quickly come to realisation that is not going to happen.
Game was really challenging (I think in the right way... there were cheap parts but nothing horendous) and very fun to play. Absolutely no complains to graphics or sound - they fit nicely together, really build up the overall atmosphere and kept game interesting for me.
I'm looking forward to what you'll come up with next jam! GJ with this one mate :)
This was quite fun! Good music, good graphics, kinda glitchy camera and ragdolling but overall, I had fun and thats what matters the most :)
I got a nasty bug though... When I died and tried to get to menu, this happened: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuV5VRAKJHw&feature=youtu.be
You still have some time to fix it so there you go :)
Where's the source? Compo entries must include it!
I know you have the link there but it won't work...
Other than that, loved the graphics, music really built up the atmospehere here and gameplay wise, I found game easy to jump into and quite fun to play.
Great job with this one! Basically aside from source not being included, I have no complains :)
This was quite a good game!
- Graphics: Very good graphics! I like this neon style, kinda reminds me of Blood Dragon :) - Sound: I don't exactly know why you opted out but I suspect that you didn't made it. Shame, cause it really contributed to overall feel of the game - Gameplay: I'll disagree on this one with others. It was really extremlly hard to control the car, but I think that if you would have more time you could make the controls better. Anyway, I could finish the race after few tries so that matters :) - Overall: I had my fun with this game. Surely not the best control-wise from all the games I played, but graphics kept the game interesting enough for me. Also, I don't know how time flew by so that's always a good thing :)
GJ guys!
This game looks great. Gameplay wise, its kind of a struggle to keep up with the pace, but alas I liked it too.
Very neat idea that could be built upon :)
When I saw the thumbnail, I didn't think much of the game, but after playing it, it was suprisingly fun! GJ!
I'm giving this solid 5/5.
Graphics were really great, music and sound effects too, levels were challenging and gameplay wise game felt very smooth.
Fun factor is really great with this one for me, puzzle games are my thing so you definitely hit mark for me on this one.
Really great job guys!
This game was suprisingly fun to play!
