Nice graphics and music. The concept is interesting although I think the best strategy is just to use the ice gun from close range to freeze mummies and not create walls. Solid entry.

Kind of fun. Although the he game lacked sound effects and the keyboard controls were a little buggy at times. The levels felt too random as sometimes they only had 3 slimes and sometimes around 7 of those projectile shooting things and a couple of slimes. Not sure if intentional but the sword could block projectiles if positioned properly which was a bit weird. There are a lot of things that could be improved and I'm sure would have been if you had more than 72 hours. Although bad for a jam, hope you will continue making games.
The game was fun but very buggy. Could go through the dirt and even jump while on it. I checked your games and found out this was your first time participating on ludum dare, me too. Overall a fun little game.
The art is great. the music is also nice. I like the leaderboard, managed beat the level in around 22 seconds. Overall good game.
Great game, there's an element of mystery which makes you wonder what will happen so you end up destroying the planet. Very reflective. The audio is weird but very fitting. The art was amazing.
One of the best ludum dare games. Great art and music, nice gameplay, good tutorial. The game is also very polished. Although some stats visual on enemies would have been nice.
Very nice art and music. Good entry.
Interesting idea although a little confusing as I'm not sure which planets i can colonize and what terraforming exactly does after a planet is colonized. Cool take on the theme. A tutorial would have been great.
Fun little game. This is one of those games that can only emerge from a game jam. This game scores higher on humor than any other. The art and music were also nice. Overall good game.
Not bad for your first entry. The jumping mechanic felt new, although a bit weird since I didn't feel like I was bouncing from the trampolines but instead used them to increase jump height. Some sounds and music would have went a long way. Anyway i got to the clock and had some fun in the process.
Nice game. The music and artwork is cool. The concept feels new so good job on that.
Cool game. It has a lot of features for the small amount of time. Although it crashes when i get killed. The music and art were nice. Not sure how it fits the theme though.
@rafig Thanks, I agree with you. Made it this way in the beginning because it was easier and just stuck with it.
@rargrave The music was the last thing I focused on and it was done in about an hour of fiddling so it makes sense that it isn't the best part. Thanks for the feedback though.
@ildfuglen Thanks for your feedback. It's nice that I got to see someone playing the game from start to finish and giving their opinion and criticism. Was a little disappointed you didn't read any of the death screen texts, one of them says: "Yes, this is inspired by Raft.". Since you asked, I used the Capsule Collider 2D on the sharks. I now understand that using a collider for the bullets was a bad idea. Didn't focus much on adjusting the price on the upgrades which is probably why they're so expensive, makes me wonder how many people got the kalashnikov. Also the shooting sound messed up when i exported it to WebGl that's why it sounded distorded. I'll try not to repeat the same mistakes next time.
Hope to more entries from you too. Although this is my first time participating I have watched ludum dare gameplay before and just found out you also made dungeon scrawl, which I also thought was well made and polished.
Great first game. I see me and you had a very similar idea. To be honest, I think yours was executed better. The artwork is nice along with the music. Overall a solid entry.
I don't normally post links to my game in reviews but since ours is so similar i think you'd like to check out mine: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/shark-barrage
I really enjoyed the game. The art was simple yet effective. Interesting take on the theme. Great job.
I beat it. I think the level design was nice and it had a nice difficulty curve. And to my knowledge there was was more than one way to beat a level, so it takes a little experimenting to find the best route. The music fits the game. Nice game.
The music is very nice and the art is also good. Interesting take on the theme, something new for a change. The atmosphere was the best part about it. Great entry.
Very fun game and unique idea. Surprised to see a card game for this theme. Took me a few tries to be able to beat it. I also enjoyed the music. Great job.
Interesting game and idea. the art and music were nice too.Nice job.
Nice graphics and music. it felt like you didn't have enough time to react to black holes though but maybe that was just me. Found a bug where you could increase your score after dying but that wasn't too big. Not bad.
Great game. The art and sounds are nice. The game is very polished for a jam game.
Unfortunately I didn't have anyone to play with but overall the game looked fun, I liked the idea of it along with the sounds.
Just released one of the enemies was supposed to have a different sprite, oh well.
Cool little game, enjoyed the artwork. Interesting how imo eating all the food is not the best strategy, since enemy spawning is linked to eating food. Maybe if enemy spawning was unrelated to food and they dropped food instead it would have been better. Also I liked the way the theme was incorpotated.
Really cool to see an auto chess game in here. Kind of wish there were more than 5 rounds. Also I beat the game in 5 rounds by just getting knights each round lol.
Cool game, didn't realize why you could keep potions since it seems like they stack.
Cool game, the sounds were good apart from the clock getting a little annoying at the end. The atmosphere and mood were great. Would have been cool if there were enemies but I understand you didn't have time to add those. I also digged the menu art. Overall great submission.
Interesting idea, however the was no win/lose condition or real point to the game. Also the music started overlapping after some time. This game could be cooler given an objective and more polish.
The best game I've played so far out of this jam, everything from the graphics to the sounds and design was spot on. The combat could have had more depth and it also didn't make much sense to my why I could attack both melee and ranged at the same time. Nonetheless great submission.
Possibly the best submission I've played so far, nice take on the theme and really cool sounds.
Cool game, simple concept but elegant design.
Good use of the theme, also nice graphics and sound. Didn't really get the whole premise of the game but looks solid.
Simple game but one of the better and more polished ones I've played. Everything comes together in a cohesive good experience.
Neat game! A counter keeping track of how many of the fish you've caught like a progress or achievement bar would be something I would definitely add. fish.png
Amazing graphics. Had no idea what was going on or how to play though. The inventory was buggy. Some guidance would be nice.
