Funny little game. I didn't really understand if I defeated an opponent because a different instantly respawned. My healthbar (I presume) showed zero but I kept playing for some reason 😃
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD60 → Gadget-o-Rama

cant say I fully undrestood what was going on but i liked the vibes :D
Fixed the not dying bug, plus some others and will add some instructions cause it's not clear enough 😅
Seems like a Pokemon-inspired game, and the pixel art is honestly the highlight for me, super detailed and genuinely beautiful. The controls were a bit unclear though, I kept pressing attack and nothing seemed to happen. There's also some imbalance with the gadgets, the heaviest one just physically can't dodge anything, and you can't pick another one (your opponents get several). Still, you can tell a lot of love went into the art!
Pokemon meets Megaman EXE. I get how to play the game though I wish all gadgets could give warn signs on where their attacks would land to give time to react. Nonetheless, it is a fun game.
Funny game!
I'm not familiar to Megaman Battle Network. So couldn't understand the game. But I liked the vibe and seems to be funny. Nice entry!
Really fun idea! I like how you turned old-school gadgets into little fighters, it's such a funny and creative take on the jam theme. The whole idea of choosing a gadget from your pouch and sending it into battle is pretty charming, especially since each one has its own attack pattern.
I also like the randomness of choosing between three gadgets, it adds a nice bit of variety and makes you curious about what you'll get next. There's definitely a lot of potential to expand this concept with more gadgets and different abilities. It's the kind of weird little game idea I love seeing at Ludum Dare. Nice work!
Cool concept, but I quickly figured out that I can essentially spawn camp enemies with the BONY before they even had a chance to attack, so the balance needs more work. Really dig the art.
Fun little game!
Could use a bit more polish and maybe turn it into turn-based one :)
Kudos for not using AI!
