This is by far the best game I've ever played in this jam. Nice graphics, Fun and addictive gameplay mixed perfectly with the theme. 5/5
Pretty cool idea! I think the interface could be a bit easier to use but otherwise the art and audio is really good!
It looks nice and the trajectory effect of the ships is very effective. I also really adore the way the world is being eaten. The core mecanism (balancing ship production with people rescue) should provide a nice challenge
Great game! It comes together quite nicely. I would personally have liked a bit more time before the void consumes everything, turning it into more of a strategy game instead of a frantic clicker. :)
A great game with a simple and clever system but I found the game difficult because the solar system was to big and the rocket was too slow or the void was comming too quickly. I think if you seed up the rocket and make the system smaller it would be much much cooler !
A fast paced puzzle game with a cool take on "running out of space" as the timing out of planets. Increasing the pace really adds more complexity to the puzzle game, which is not really my taste. But I sure appreciated the degeneration of space, and its quite funny you leave the texture underneath it being "transparent" haha. That scores a bit of humor for me. I love the music, but the sound effect was too loud and high pitched for me. I get anxious every time I select a ship because of that sound effect T_T - just a little feedback. Great work! Ah btw, the graphics is very very pretty!!
The game concept is very interesting and has unique system. The game was pretty difficult and got quite hard at some point. The void ate the world quite fast so you had to think and act quick. Nice looking game visually. The audio is nice too and it creates the right mood for the game.
Overall it had a very nicely executed concept and it was a fun fast-paced strategy game. Good job!
Really digging the music and the art style (especially the planets, they look terrific). Really fun use of the theme. I personally felt like the game was a bit too difficult, but maybe I'm just really bad at it. Overall it's super good though!
Great entry! The tutorial is super efficient. The space felt massive once I finished it and accessed to the "main game", just before it started to collapse, creating a real "running out of space" feelin'. The only remark I would do is, I kept on messing with Left & Right clicks, so I often unselected my ship because of a miss click :(
Very original idea, it fits perfectly into the theme of the Ludum Dare. Suitable music and sounds, cool gameplay, nice graphics - this game is very good!
Really good game. though this kind of game has sort of been done before this is still a pretty new concept.
Amazing music and art! I definitely agree with the other comments about the speed. The concept is really great, though, and the tutorial brings it together nicely to make it playable. Quite solid!
Fantastic work! I am amazed to see such high quality game made in such limited time!
Very well done. This has a great vibe. The music and sounds are really nice, and remind me a bit of FTL, which is a good thing. I also really dig the art with the floating clouds around the planets giving a ton of character. The art is also really clear in terms of gameplay, which is important in a game like this.
Queuing commands was an essential feature once I had a lot going on, and I really appreciated that. I made it to Sector 10 and evacuated 100% of my population there. The game was a cool mix of intense time pressure and puzzling things out, so it kind of drained me and after 10 sectors I called it quits because I just didn't have another 10 in me!
Strat-wise I definitely focused on pop vs resources, since that was the immediate gameover threat. But maybe I should have built up my tech by being a bit more ruthless? I didn't get too many of the ship upgrades, though I did get the mine/factory ones, and that fed into me getting the ship ones. I did focus early on that +1 ship since that's kind of key, but it wasn't too much of a commit.
Very nice combo feeling of pressure vs planning, wrapped in an excellent and tasteful presentation. Well done, this is an entry you can be proud of!
I really loved this game but I found it really hard to get past the 1st level (I might just be really bad). I did it once after playing it like 10 times. This game is very engaging, Overall, a great game, I loved the concept, the execution, the mood and the graphics.
Noice
That was a really cool multitasking and management game. Very interesting concept and it really works on player's imagination. I really get a strong FTL vibe with the space, running out of something and choice of music. The visuals are also really nice and pleasant to look at. The difficulty curve is also really nice, you slowly get more and more things to manage and there is always a challenge in every level. Game feels really polished, generated levels are usually well balanced. The whole upgrades idea gives a nice feel of progression. One small thing that I can suggest is to make an outline around objects when mouse is over them to indicate that you can click it. In overall it is a REAALY good game, it was fun to play it, well done!
I completed sector 19 with total score of over 54 000 and the game froze and then crashed wiping my progress upon clicking the "next sector" button. :frowning2:.
I absolutely love the game. Usually, attempts at real time strategy games for LD fall flat for me, as the decisions get easy and it all is just eh, but this one was pretty good. But boy, would I kill for a pause. I understand that modern rts mechanics like control groups are out of scope, but you should replace those with pause. After around level 15, I was limited by how fast and accurately can I click at small objects (which I hate to do and suck at), not by my resources. It was simply frustrating to see 5 ships idle while I try and queue up as many people to rescue as I can for the one ship I have selected. And I never knew if I queued up to save the people on the planet or whether I missed by 2 pixels and didn't queue that up! It just became more fps than rts! Also, at the level start, I could not look at the whole map and carefully decide where is it optimal to build new ships and which people need evac asap. I knew the clock was ticking, fast. I just delivered the first resources I saw to the first factory I saw. It didn't feel like rts at all. I didn't optimize my resources.
I would enjoy this game about 5 times more if there was a pause possibility. Please, make it happen. I know it cannot be that hard.
This. Game. Needs. Pause. Everything. Else. Is. Perfect.
A great spaceship management game. Very enjoyable and challenging! Great work!
Very exciting game ! very well balanced, really polished. graphics perfectly fits the game. Difficulty is growing nicely, everything is really nice. I really liked it. ^^ If i'd have only one suggestion, put a 3 seconds countDown at the beginning of the level, as i was really making up my strat in pause, and game was becoming too easy. All in all, Well done !
really cool entry! but for me this game some little hard and i need someting like active pause and i think it's strange solution to make game on mouse, camera viwe on arows and adition button on left shift ctrl (i have two hands, you know...))
This concept is amazing! However, am I doing something wrong? I was never able to get an upgrade as it is physically not possible for the ship to travel that fast even if I queue all my commands. I find myself racing just to barely save enough people and don't have time to worry about resources or the other features you put in. Is everything operating on Update and not FixedUpdate?
One of the best games for sure. The audio and music were well made, the game was polished and the idea is nice. Maybe a little to fast paced for my style but all in all great game.
Hi there! It looks like your entry uses third-party assets that your team did not create during the jam.
This is fine, but in accordance with [the Ludum Dare rules](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/rules), **you must OPT-OUT of the respective categories, since it would be unfair for you to be rated based on work that you did not actually do during the jam.** You can still change this setting now.
Quoted from the actual submission page (which you should have read):
> **Opt-out of categories here if you and your team didn't make all your graphics, audio, or music during the event. Many participants are making original graphics, audio and music from scratch during the event. As a courtesy, we ask you to opt-out if you didn't do the same.** Also, some games are not meant to be Humourous or Moody, so you can choose to opt-out of these too.

That aside, this game definitely has a lot of good potential! Though I must admit, I was pretty confused when I received this sector layout:

It definitely took some used to getting the hang of the game, but it was pretty fun after I understood how to work it! It's rather punishing at the beginning, especially since it drops you right into the heat of things with no time to formulate a plan of action. Once you start getting the upgrades things start to snowball pretty quickly and it gets much easier.
I actually think this would have done very well as a "campaign"-based sequence of missions instead of an endless wave-based survival game. That would allow you to ramp up the difficulty gradually as well as introduce new upgrades, and it would allow players the chance to retry a particular mission if they failed. Just my 2 cents though.
Wow! Really fun game and super challenging - took a while before I was able to get the hang of it. Phenomenal graphics and awesome concept - probably one of the best games I've played this ludem dare! Well done.
