LD38 — A Small World

Globe Trot by Richard Michael Smith 2017-04-29T02:04:37Z

A very fun shooter! Gameplay is exciting and the audio and visual aspects of the game are well made and fitting. As others have already said, the controls for shooting are a little difficult to use on the first few games (with left and right arrow keys turning the whole ship), although its pretty intuitive after that and it would be nice to have the score show up after the game ends. While the camera can get a little disorienting after it goes through the gimbal lock fix, the transition is relatively smooth and the camera works well overall.

Overall a great game. Well done!

LD42 — Running out of space

Hey, Hugo! by OddballDave 2018-08-15T08:39:42Z

Fun game with great graphics, however I got stuck on the left side of the map a couple times and had to restart. Jumping can be also be a bit difficult at times.

Guns'n'Carrots (Web build) by Razenpok 2018-08-28T11:12:58Z

Fun game - the graphics were really impressive, and the idea of managing space in the saddle bags like a tetris board was pretty cool. The puzzles were quite fun and the gameplay was well made, although for some points in the later stages I felt like I was simply trying random variations of carrots and guns.

The Void by mortus 2018-09-04T08:55:45Z

Wow! Really fun game and super challenging - took a while before I was able to get the hang of it. Phenomenal graphics and awesome concept - probably one of the best games I've played this ludem dare! Well done.

Warehouse by James Dunlap 2018-08-28T11:40:07Z

Interesting game! I really liked the quirky physics and the way to forklift moved - even though it was a little difficult to control at time, along with the audio. The idea of obscuring the labels with other labels was great. As others have said the instructions were a bit unclear and the wait time was really long especially for the second level - spent a lot of time just waiting for boxes.

Hyper Space Man by indegame 2018-08-29T07:08:18Z

@rubixnoob13 We actually didn't get time to add state saving when you go to instruction screen haha - it's probably something we should fix if we update the game. Thanks for the feedback!

DoorsOS - RAM Simulator by johnnydalvi 2018-08-15T08:18:43Z

Great game - I liked the interpretation of the theme. It got quite stressful by the end and it was a really enjoyable playthough. The difficulty was good, but maybe you could have added one or two more install screens (maybe choosing which drive to install the antivirus on)

High Factory by Jima 2018-09-04T10:13:08Z

Fun game! Took a while to get the conveyers to work (and are the launcher things meant to turn into conveyers when you break them?), but it was really enjoyable and the art style was amazing - a real feat in 48 hours, although the game did kill my potato laptop a little :P. Great job!

Wormhole Arena by SpaceMonkey 2018-08-15T09:42:59Z

Very addictive and great interpretation of the theme - very fun to play couldn't stop playing free for all. The computers are very challenging and the game has a great difficulty level. Maybe add an option to quit to menu after you die after FFA, as I had to wait for the computers to finish fighting.

Floor killer by Bentekiller 2018-08-28T11:50:01Z

Not entirely sure what aim was, and game spazzed out a bit at times (not sure if I was jumping off or something). Level design was pretty cool though - loved the look.

Pipe Dream by JavaSaurus 2018-08-28T12:06:44Z

The graphics and controls of this game were really good - the art really blew me away, although the game was a bit buggy. I sometimes half went through walls and the oil came up almost instantly during the boss fight, and a few more levels would have been nice. It was quite a fun game overall through!

Space Shipping by RubixNoob13 2018-08-28T12:20:30Z

Love the idea behind the game - playing tetris with the blocks was fun, although as others have stated it was usually ok to just take the biggest one, but with a bit of polish (fuel stations and repair stations etc and the other stuff you metioned) it could be a really great game. Had a lot of fun playing it - great job!

No Place To Die by ZephyrExtreme 2018-08-15T09:14:52Z

A fun game to play - mowing down enemies was really enjoyable! I really like the graphics and the shooting animation, however the movement was a bit difficult at times and running away while shooting was hard due to this.

Build Out In Space by nikasxirtla 2018-08-15T09:02:43Z

Fun game despite the simple mechanics. I liked the audio and thought it fit well with the game, however it was sometimes a bit annoying to wait for the planet to fully rotate on slower speeds.

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

The operator by Hadik 2020-10-14T12:17:48Z

Love the physics behind this game! Think it could use a couple more levels, and it was quite difficult to play once you left circular motion, which happened quite a lot (which also meant energy didn't mean that much), but I do like the difficult to control nature of the satelite (although it's often better to do nothing unforturnately). Graphics fit the game quite well - they looked quite good, and overall the game was quite fun and had me madly pushing arrow keys every time an asteroid got close to me!

Dude Ranch by ColeSlaughter 2020-10-14T11:52:40Z

Dude Ranch really rocks! Love the concept and the art - both the dudes and the 3D thingos around the side, and the animation was real good. The gameplay was fun and simple - might want to think about spicing up the lassoing but overall a lot of hilarious fun!

LD49 — Unstable

Portals From Fire by Moandor 2021-10-15T18:14:11Z

Really like the graphics of the game - lots of great assets that went together super well - was a real treat when combined with the chaotic gameplay which basically chucked a ton of stuff on the screen.

The chaotic vibe of the game was done super well with everything getting super cluttered as the game went on, which all seems to affect you in tons of random ways (eg the enemies just all running around and the random debuffs that get applied when you run over the wrong things) and the oh no moment every time you trigger the bosses messages (love that).

My main issues were probably that I got stuck in the obstacles sometimes in a few playthroughs (can't move), along with the gameplay loop seemingly being almost completely chasing portals, as there seemed to be little reason to interact with obstacles/enemies apart from the occasional laser.

Overall a very fun and chaotic playthrough though!

Dimensional Degradation by Ty Victorson 2021-10-15T17:52:30Z

Played the post jam version and I love the music and the enemy death screech sound effect - really added to the atmosphere of the game. Also thought the level design was pretty cool espcially parts of the level changing in shape - really interesting way to incorporate unstable.

The biggest issue for me was that I fell off the map a lot and got stuck falling - got respawned on empty space. Also as others have pointed out more developed UI elements would probably add to the game experience.

Overall a pretty fun and wacky playthrough though!

Negglected by Bhughes 2021-10-15T19:10:49Z

Um I think I might have played this game for a bit too long - super super addictive. Feels super polished and the trial and error gameplay was super rewarding and fun - finding the best combination of fuels took a good few tries (after figuring out you had to drag the fuels into the bottles), but I stand by the 1 red 2 blue strat! Love the detail put into the background and obstacles - along with the music really added to the atmosphere of the game.

It's too bad the game crashes once you get past the 100000 mark though :P

Pretty amazing that you guys were able to make this in 3 days - had tons of fun playing it!

LD55 — Summoning

Spirits of the Forest by aucguy 2024-05-02T14:19:20Z

I like the idea, but overly simplistic at the moment. Still had fun playing though, and lost on the last level the first time oop. The green spirits aren't very good :(

Ocarina Summoner by Narlet 2024-05-02T14:05:40Z

Enjoyed playing. Like the art on this one - creatures are really cute :D. Only ended up getting 7 of them. Maybe I'm just bad but couldn't figure out what to do after matching up the base DO RE MI FA SO LA SI ;(

LD57 — Depths

Defense in Depth by pkenney 2025-04-15T13:59:08Z

Got up to 27 (after a few too many tries) :D. Slowly figuring out the mechanics and strategy was kinda addictive - still not sure I understand all the rules though - do the hackers ever go sideways? - feels like they appeared where I didn't expect a couple times. Feels like its moderately luck dependant as well - clumped together spawns of hackers/users are a big boon. Had a lot of fun with it though (hence the too many tries :P), and the art is simple, clean and looks great!

Deepest Canyon by muriel 2025-04-16T07:57:22Z

The physics is pretty satisfying and by the end u have to think about the way (when/where) you are grappling which is really cool! Super fun, had to try the last level quite a few times (almost did it early on but got stuck in the terrain at the end in the finish :( )

blablabla deep finite ocean II by knarf 2025-04-16T06:44:12Z

This goes hard

Somnium by Roitchie 2025-04-16T08:18:36Z

Super immersive - great levels (tons of details - many areas really feel like a beautiful dreamscape), and amazing music! Really hit the dreamlike vibe I think u guys were going for. Like others I found the ending abrupt - I thought I fell off the map at first :P. Only wish the game was longer, but thats just a testament to how good the parts I played were! Puzzles were fun, thought the slide room one was really cool.

Loon lagoon by geometer 2025-04-16T06:56:32Z

I like how it feels like a seahorse town simulator :D chill vibes. Couldn't place any more floors/houses after my first couple for some reason though - not sure if its bugged or I'm missing some of the mechanics :(

Mr. Money's Phenomenally Soggy Water Removal Romp by Rhoka 2025-04-15T12:17:47Z

Perfect jam game to chill out after work with :D. Vibes so good I didn't realise I spent so long playing - thanks for the laughs!

A Soggy Situation by SvenErik 2025-04-14T13:36:39Z

Beat the game and didn't get RSI I call that a win :D. Art looks great, and the ending is funny!

The Earth Treasures Show: Season 4 by Rolly 2025-04-14T12:39:03Z

Good fun - peepcube and the alien are super cute, and the music and art makes for a chill vibe! Becomes a bit hectic as the blue bar runs out, which is cool and theres some good strategy involved with going deeper with the peepcube to go for more valuable objects or picking up everything around it. Played a couple times to hit the leaderboard which was a fun touch as well :D. Took me the first play to figure out the winch though haha, would be nice to have a tooltip for that (hopefully I didn't miss it!)

Typing at Depth by UkuleleFury 2025-04-15T13:17:11Z

Super cool and unique idea, and super cohesive implementation - love the ascii art!, had a lot of fun with this one, even though I really suck at it! I think the length of some of the words is a bit too long - gave up with some of them to focus on space/backspacing, and I usually gave up on the attack words and just tried to run away with space/backspace/enter because they took too long to type! Maybe the moral of the story is I need to get better at typing :P

asphyxia by PizzArt64 2025-04-14T12:53:46Z

Genuinely disconcerting and a bit freaky. Sound design pairs super well with the dark visuals to be really eerie and freak me out :P. Still not sure if I actually finished the game though lmao

Submarine Waffles by Eugenik 2025-04-14T13:23:04Z

i think my shop sells deconstructed waffles lmao. fun mechanics especially once i figured out how to speedrun the waffles. not sure if balancing the stuff on the waffles had any impact on score but that would actually be a super cool mechanic (all my waffles fell over :P). didn't notice upgrades having much impact unforturnately - but has the potential to add a lot of replayability to this game. also i think all my waffles have chocolate on the bottom now hahah - free chocolate for all!

Dancing in the Depths by nrankin13 2025-04-16T07:40:10Z

Time to dance :D. Sick beats and sick moves. Reminds me a bit of content warning :P. One of my videos was a bit bugged the first time I played, was pretty close with a good shot but didn't get any money - that was the only time though!

Space Garden by Mmm1008fm 2025-04-14T14:08:33Z

I like to bounce the planets around :D

The Stairwell Anomaly by Alex Mironchuk 2025-04-15T12:37:24Z

Had to turn the sound down - too scary! I like how different elements were used to make me scared - the falling can really got me the first time.

ะกะ“-4: Superdeep by Auto 2025-04-16T06:29:24Z

Fun game - love how the music (and ground) changes as you get deeper, and the art - super cohesive and just looks great! I think the caves look like rocks though :P
