I put the graphics settings on low and it still blew up my computer

Really liked the game! Hope you make lots more in the future!

Hey, this is a great concept! It's rare that a game can convince me to get a pen & paper out haha (Fez was probably the last time) but decoding the notes & the book language was a refreshing challenge. I didn't summon all the creatures in the end (mostly because I wasn't keen to translate the whole book), but I'm sure a suitably strong-willed translator could do it. The sprites that I did see were really nice.

It did take me a while to notice that you click & drag the book to look through it (the first page is missing a 'page-turn arrow' imo?), but it makes sense after that. Another thing that might be nice is being able to play the notes and navigate the book via keypresses, but that's just me being lazy haha

Great stuff overall, congrats team!

Hey @samboyer276 ! thanks for the test and the message ! Sorry about the missing arrow  , it's was a oversight. We had the same feedback about the ocarina not being accessible with the book

V2 is coming out very soon with many ajustements !:sunglasses:

i really like the idea of creating pokemon cries to summon them. cute game and execution!

I only managed to summon 6 creatures in the end, but I had a lot of fun with it :v:

The mechanic of decyphering the symbols is quite novel and interesting (I kept notes on a notebook), but it was a little bit time consuming. Great creature design though, and I loved that page flipping animation.

A great implementation of the theme, too. A lot of games about summoning creatures / demons, but this is the first one I saw that you have to do by playing a tune, even though it makes a lot of sense in retrospect.

Good work

Very fun and well thought out! I like the idea of earning cards for each monster you discover. Clever puzzle type game for sure! Great job!

I spent too long figuring out how to turn the pages. :D Interesting idea, not my type of game generally, but clearly a lot of work went into it. Nice art, polish, good job.

Awesome idea, it would have been nice to add more music and sounds to make some ambience. Pretty good game tho!

Cool idea. I especially liked the design of the creature book.

Amazing game, I really love the idea of this type of summoning. Were you inspired by the game Ocarina of Time?

I took quite a while to navigate through the pages, but I must admit, it's an intriguing concept. While it's not typically my cup of tea in terms of gaming preferences, it's evident that a significant amount of effort was invested in it. The artwork is impressive, and the overall polish is commendable. Well done!

Enjoyed playing. Like the art on this one - creatures are really cute :D. Only ended up getting 7 of them. Maybe I'm just bad but couldn't figure out what to do after matching up the base DO RE MI FA SO LA SI ;(

Impressive game! I had to fetch my notebook to be able to stand a chance but I'm used to it from adventure games by now so it's fine. Which, speaking of, I bet this would make a great mini-game or side mechanic in a larger exploration or puzzle game. It's a great proof of concept in any case.
