really enjoyed it! tensions were high not knowing who would survive! overall great game!
Its an entertaining little game!
great concept but i gave up after one of the later levels because of a how the body's hitbox kept hitting a spike. great job!
It's a pretty entertaining battle game. Great job!
Great job! i just have a couple nit picks: Your can press x and select the same task multiple times in one day (Super fast finish), and the transitions from outside to inside and vise versa are a bit slow. other than those it's a fun experience!
RIP bunnies! Nice job i liked how you had to sacrifice to progress on a few levels! great job!
I enjoyed running around looking for the items but i got a little lost, so some kind of indicator of where the altar was would have been nice. but other than that an enjoyable experience!
I really enjoyed it! had a lot of fun with sacrificing how good the weapons were! nicely done!
Thanks for that tutorial helped a bunch! Great game takes some getting used to though!
Hey, I didn't have time to download those build targets for my unity as I am on mac and I didn't have them previously installed. I can see if I can put it up still if you'd like.
@justcamh thanks for the feedback!
Hey @arron-fowler thanks for the feedback! I am planning on working it out in the future!
@ranner198 hey thanks for the feedback! I was planning on adding a bunch more stuff but ran out of time (as it goes). i plan on finishing the game some time though!
@toonteamj, I didn't have time to add music or player attack indicators other than the damage on the enemy. Thanks for playing!
@nander thanks for the feedback!
Hey your game looks beautiful but i was never sure of what my goal was. I understand you weren't able to complete the game so, well done on what you have! Good luck in the future!
I liked it alot! great job
I enjoyed the challenge, but i do think you should lower the speed of the projectiles in the first part. Over all interesting concept and a bunch of fun, great job!
Hey @avi yeah that's a chrome security thing, if you should be able to download if you either disable it or click past it. it is likely because it sees me as a known publisher. any other questions let me know!
@tpcool thanks for the feedback! I didn't have much time to do anything this jam so i might work on it in the future. Again thanks!
Really enjoyed the game! Was a little confused what to do at first but got the hang of things really quick, i got to enemy level 10 before dying because i screwed myself over putting too many spawns next to each other! Great job!
was pretty fun to manage each of the villages, even if it was a bit difficult.
The graphics are absolutely stunning, great job!
- I wasn't too sure what to do once i ran out of grass to plant and then it dissipated. - also found the menus to be quite a screen hog (I was in full screen) defiantly would recommend sizing it down and possible centering the field a bit more. - There also didn't seem to be a lose or win condition so i would recommend trying to find a way to implement one if that goes with the over arching idea - The music was nice though!
Keep on developing!
Hey, @a-bond @kazatan and @fabula-rasa, sorry about that fixed the download, should be working now!
@kazatan thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it!
@adhesion thanks for the feedback! I didn't have time to make sounds so that's why nothing happened there, as for the bridge i ran in to the same issue. I'm looking to fix both in a after jam build!
Thanks for the feedback! As i mentioned before i didn't have time to add sounds, I will look into everything that was mentioned!
Hey @kyle-bowman i just checked the link and looks like it is working, if you are still having issues let me know!
@kyle-bowman you were right sorry about that! all good to go now!
@eduardogacn Sorry for the late reply i just put up the windows build!
I found the movement of the game to be pretty fun! It was a bit tough to find all the miners but overall that game was pretty fun!
Fun little game! Everything felt pretty good to play, the biggest thing that would bring the game to the next level would have been like others have mentioned some SFX! Over all nice work I think the mechanics could lead to a pretty good platformer game if you continue to work on it!
The player feedback and screen shake was fantastic! I didn't really end up using the slow time as I camped in the corner and spammed attacks. But I really enjoyed the game nice work!
The game felt great to play and the art was fantastic! The game was tough but I really enjoyed it nice work!
Pretty funny concept! Loved the randomness of the game and how you don't really know what to expect, had fun roaming the ocean floor and pushing around the suit guys!
I wish you put jump on space bar! but I really enjoyed the game I didn't end up getting too many upgrades and I didn't really end up using the bombs since I rode the pizza guy all the way down. The beginning of each run was pretty stressful trying to manage your food and getting the initial upgrade but after you get more food holding size it chills out. Overall a really fun game nice work! I also think some music would be pretty good to go over the fun sounds while you dig!
Like others have mentioned, the game is a bit short but it looks great! Nice work!
nice job! I loved the humor here! (even if I got called out for just turning around LOL!) i did encounter a few bugs like getting locked in the bedroom, but over all the game was a lot of fun!
like others have mentioned the start is a bit difficult when just starting but had a blast running way past the football field! Great work and fantastic idea!
The game was pretty fun! like a few others I found the best way was to just dig hold all the way down across the level then I waited near the end! Nice work on the graphics and the aesthetic, defiantly looked the part!
I'm on chrome as well and wasn't able to play, got this error: game error.PNG
I was a bit confused what I was supposed to look for but I found something but I wasn't able to pick it up. On the flip side the movement was pretty smooth and the hand drawn art was great, nice work!
@asfdfdfd glad you enjoyed!
@lichead-studio sure!
@ansh-mishra sorry to hear it was hard to find the lever placement on the second level! it was to the left by the edge, ill try to make that more clear in the after jam build! Glad you enjoyed what you were able to play though!
Was a little confused at first which side they dropped from so I might suggest flipping it vertical with the next on the bottom. But even though I never got too deep, I enjoyed the game nice work!
Nice work! its a fun little game, perfectly encapsulates the theme! it was a bit hard to slow down but that adds some good challenge!
Loved the art style, its a fun little game nice work!
Had a great time evading the milk and saving the allies! You did great with the humor here! the big thing i think would improve the game would be to add either a rotatable camera or a fixed camera to see the whole level and to make the ice blocks not stop you when you hit them! Other than those the game was great nice work!
Like others have mentioned it is pretty short but i liked the story! the art was fitting and the music also fit well!
Loved the music! I was vibing the whole time, however I wasn't able to find all the plates to go deeper, I was never sure how many I had collected and felt like I was wandering around for a long time.
Nice work the game was fun! I even managed to flip the vehicle and fly off the side on the third level lol!
Great work with the water physics! like others have mentioned the movement was a bit slow but overall you did a great job!
The game was really fun! I didn't notice some of the numbers dropping at first like the food and water so I ended up losing a bunch of people, so I stopped worrying about those and aggressively spammed recruitment to cover my losses before spamming battles. Overall I didn't experience any issues (Nice!) and had a great time, my only gripe is some of the menus were a but confusing to navigate but that might have just been me! Nice work!
Like others have said it was hard to judge jumps, but I loved the game unfortunately I wasn't ever able to get them all :(
Nice work here, the tech here was really impressive for such a short time! I had a blast destroying a bunch of things to make my shelter!
The art here is great, the mechanics of the game all worked well, the only thing is I would maybe add some health to the player as things get hectic really quick and dying to one shot doesn't feel great! However you've got a solid game here even though its unfinished. Nice work!
@amkingtrp thanks for the feedback! We ran out of time, so there was a lot we never got a chance to do!
@bob152 I'm glad you liked it! And yeah the falling off issue and UI are ones I'm looking into! Thanks for the feedback everyone!
@pcmaster Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep that in mind!
@honey-pony thanks for the heads up will look into it for the post jam version!
Had a bunch of fun destroying tons of the cubes, over all a really solid game! Nice work!
Had a blast solving the puzzles , but like others have mentioned the 'overworld' felt a bit less useful since I went to get the pages all first. but over all the game looked and sounded great and was really fun! Nice work!
The art and gameplay were great! I didn't expect to keep going after the first day so the twist was a big surprise to me (the bird is really tanky, I survived a lot!), I did end up breaking the game so I couldn't pick up branches on the 3rd level somehow, however it seems that was the last one. As others have mentioned, doing the same task can get a bit repetitive. Overall I really liked the game nice work!
@paulsams not really sure, I was in the area with the nest and hit E near the floor and ceiling on the right side and it prevented me from picking up the branches
Like others have said, its a bit too short to die and very difficult to see even with a very bright screen, a little more light would go a long way!
As has been mentioned before, the game needs something more to it maybe some sort of "quest" system just to keep things interesting and give the player an objective. It is a fun concept however and with a little more work it could be a lot of fun!
Fun little game, I beat it pretty quick by just spamming my abilities but it was fun! Also nice work the music was great and the game felt really polished!
Fun little game, sadly I never passed the first guy he kept trapping me in the hall ways and then id fall out of the world. But nice work nonetheless!
The game got too hard for me after the first level area, I couldn't pass it with the amount of enemies, but over all nice work!
Like others have mentioned being able to move/scroll the map would have been nice since it took me a bit to memorize the planets locations. It also felt like it need something more to do after delivering the passengers for a while. But the game played really well, the movement felt like it would it you were in space and the planets all had their own charm! Nice work!
You made a fun little game! In my first run I managed my resources really poorly and didn't get very far lol, Love the concept you came up with here though! All the different enemy types were fun to fight and the dragon at the end kicked my ass! Great job!
@magic-mike Thanks for the feedback! We wanted to do even more than what we could get done as you can see
I'm glad you had fun!
Thanks @abdonatioera, @chocolat-endive for the feedback, I've already made most of the changes that you were asking for and added a post jam version. I also added a few screenshots to help show what the games about!
I'm glad you both enjoyed the game!
You really nailed the somber tone and the theme here! Your graphics looked great, the music was a great addition and I didn't experience any issues! I managed to get to Day 17! Great job!
had a blast going through all the different paths and the ending was funny even if a bit out of character! Nice work!
Game was pretty fun but I never got past the platformer part, I feel like you could remove the sprinting function and make it always one speed since you end up sprinting for almost the whole time anyway, as for the music it was great never got repetitive and fit well with the gameplay! Nice work!
Had a blast trying to survive the slime onslaught! like others mentioned the only gripe I had was that the laser is exactly where you had to shoot so the visuals threw me off, but that's only a tiny thing, everything else Graphics and the use of the theme were great! Nice work!
My hand is killing me but i managed to "beat" the game! the graphics looked fantastic but like others have mentioned the file size was pretty large. My only gripe is that maybe you could have added more waves building up to the big one and making the turret automatic! Great work!
I Had fun playing and really liked the retro style you went for!
Had a blast playing! as others have mentioned you the positives and negatives to upgrades made things interesting and the graphics looked great! This game would make for a great time killer app if you decide to pursue it further!
The game was pretty funny, I like the sound effects and the art was great! A few critiques for things, i found the missile launcher would hit me off the screen when the ship was transitioning between the sides, and I think the stun was a bit too long though that wasn't too much of an issue. The volume was high but you've addressed that already and lastly like others have said the ship was a bit slow especially when going side to side making it really difficult to avoid shots sometimes. Overall though you did a great job!
Hey @daitli Sorry I didn't catch that I was is a rush to upload the game! Its set to public now!
@jazzathefoss Thanks for playing! We had plans to add more sounds which would let you know an enemy is approaching but ran out of time.
@arron-fowler Thanks for playing! As you say we had a lot we wanted to get in but didn't have the time to! You make some great points here, thanks for all the feedback!
@eloraju That's my mistake, I forgot to say how to switch weapons lol (its the [Tab] key). Thanks for playing though, I appreciate the feedback! We ran out of time to finish up the sounds and a few other things as well like you mentioned.
Great job on the submission! The game was fun to mess around with, trying to use as little of the pieces as possible was a blast! Like others have said there were a few minor physics issues but overall, that wasn't an issue, and the experience was great!
I was really struggling to manage the enemies lol, but the game was a lot of fun! Like others have said some BG music and something to change up the shop experience and maybe a short break after each wave would be great additions the game!
I really liked how the game looked and felt although like others have mentioned having a few more movement options like a dive ability would be nice to have! Overall great work!
The graphics were great, and the music fit well! If you had more time a few more sound effects would have gone a long way, and binding the turning to the mouse might have been a little nicer for controls but that's just personal preference! Nice work!
I loved all the different interactions you had with all the characters, lots of funny lines! I did get a little lost at first not knowing there was a path on one of the screens, and the pathfinding around some objects was a bit rough, but overall this game was amazing, Nice work!
The game was a lot of fun! the long press was a little tough to get right so some practice at the beginning or in a tutorial would have been nice to have. But overall, I really enjoyed the experience so great job!
I played for a while reminds me of the old days so great job there! Also, like others have mentioned some more power ups and some sounds would go a long way!
@rocket-and-blanky / @blanky-and-rocket I'm glad you guys enjoyed the game!
@pyspher9 Thanks for playing! Unfortunately, due to how I made the controller for the player if the camera is looking at something blocking/in front of the player moving forward moves you towards the blocking object and towards the cam. as for the pause menu I didn't have time to get all the nice to have features in sadly, BUT if I have time to make a after jam build I'll fix all these problems!
@jacobingalls / @shane-gadsby / @saryah Thanks for playing I'm glad you all enjoyed the game!!
@arron-fowler Thanks for the feedback! If and when I get some time, I'll defiantly make some fixes and changes based on what you've said here! Thanks for playing!
Like others have mentioned the controls are a bit too responsive, and i wish you had added some ui indicators for where to go as i got lost a lot trying to figure out where to go lol! Another thing is i kept getting trapped in the garage, so some transparency or a look through shader would have been nice to have there. Overall though it was fun trying to drive around, nice work!
I kinda cheated a bit by levitating myself with the blocks but like other have mentioned the game needs a bit more polishing and it will be really solid!
I mostly agree with what mlists said, another thing I would change is the buying drones, id move that to its own screen with some descriptions and costs to make it easier to understand which you are buying and how much they cost. Keep up the good work!
The UI could use a bit of work to make it a little easier to see since in some areas the arrows are easy to miss, however the mood and the art in this game are great some of the best I've seen so far! Great job wish you had the chance to finish everything you had planned!
I got the star at the end and only died a couple times! The addition of the water re-fillers was a lifesaver (literally) really helped with the increase in difficulty for the later rooms! Overall, the game was a fun time the only critique that I have is the audio mixing could use a bit of tuning, the walking sounds were a tad loud!
I love that the other onlookers don't care if you've run down some of the others lol! The controls felt good and all the AFX were satisfying to hear, I would have liked a screen where I could see all the levels and scores I got on them but that's a minor gripe! Overall though the game was great, and I had a blast playing it!
Wasn't expecting to find a Roblox game here! nice work felt pretty good and having multiplayer in a Jam game is always impressive!
Most everything has been said already but the game is great! I wish we were able to write on the floppy disks it would have helped me remember which one did what my memory isn't the best lol, the aesthetics of the game were perfect and really added to the feel of using an older piece of hardware! Congrats on this amazing achievement of a jam game!
You've definitely got a good start here, the movement feels pretty good, and the art style mixed with 3d is pretty appealing! I wasn't able to beat many of the enemies since most of the time I was only able to swing an attack once in a while and it wasn't very clear why I wasn't able to attack. I'd be interested to see the game as it evolves so keep up the good work!
I only managed to save 4 because the orcas kept spawning behind me when I went to save the babies ;( Other than that I felt that maybe the orcas could have taken bigger portions of the ice but overall, it was a fun little game!
I tried to fight the enemies at first but after landing in the lava? a couple times I just ran through to the finish! The game felt good to play the controls took a minute to get used to but overall this is a solid entry!
@stronf Sorry to hear that, I just ran it a couple times without issue, was it crashing right away? were you able to get into the level at all?
@infinitye @ampo Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Making things look nicer was on the list but didn't have the time to finish getting it in. As for how I'm so fast ;) Lots and lots of runs lol!
@larrymartinjr yeah sadly we didnt have time to fix that, all you need to do is set the sensitivity in the main menu and it'll fix that issue
I made it to the end! I enjoyed wandering around and seeing how everything was all interconnected you did a great job with the setting and feel of the game, additionally as others have mentioned some audio and maybe some background music would have been nice. Nice work!
LD54Jamothergameend.png
This was a very interesting game! It reminded me of the GTA 5 minigame where you had to close all the pop ups! I'm not sure if my having two monitors messed things up but once I closed the "final" pop up the bar reached 100% but nothing happened after that other than waiting out the time. Overall nice work and a very unique entry!
You've got a fun little puzzle game here! As mentioned before an undo button would be nice to have but overall I had a great time playing!
Nice game! It was fun to juggle all my bags and try to make as many trades as possible in the least number of turns! The art and SFX were all nice and the game was fun to play great work!
I wasn't able to finish but the game was really good! I think having some SFX would definitely help out on selling the anxiety feeling but overall the art and feel of the game were on point, great job!
It's a simple yet effective and fun little game! A agree with most of the points that Gawain said but I think you have a solid entry here!
Nice game! The music and SFX were nice and not too over baring, and having the screen size slowly getting smaller was a cool take on the theme! Overall nice work!
Really great job with the graphics, the game looked beautiful! The only issue I found was not being able to complete the second level I made it to the end a couple times but wasn't able to get passed there. Regardless congrats on the compo entry and great game
I like the game play loop of going in and burning everything! I feel like you should have let it be endless until you don't meet quota, that way the player has more of a chance to max out all the stats! I think if there was more time to make a few more scenarios/maps as well would help keep each summon interesting! Youve got a good base to work from here keep at it!
I liked the dynamic environment with the machines knocking down the trees and destroying the towers! Everything felt like it was fitting to the game and made sense.
I did have a few issues, like others have said when the machines get too close, I wasn't able to unsummon them and it would have been nice to see which direction they were coming from as well as a marker for where the town was, I got lost after going to do a little exploring lol. Â Also, my web browser was having some issues when starting the game and once it loaded some of the text was cut off, but overall, it was an enjoyable experience nice work!
Like Henk said once I got far enough it just kept giving me circles so it would have been nice to have a win condition to go back and try the other difficulties. I did enjoy drawing the symbols though so nice job there!
another thing unless this was intentional, the flying guys started to make it hard to see the shape haha! so having them be behind would have been nice.
Anyway, good work! GameJamLD55Win.png
Like others have said, the modeling work and atmosphere is amazing! I did enjoy the game but, apparently I'm too unobservant to do anything without directions, after picking up all of the objects I had to come back here to figure out what to do lol.
other than lack of direction I enjoyed the game a lot, nice work!
This is a great start to a more flushed out TD! While things were only close pre wave 10 ish I enjoyed the variety of towers and spells that you were able to make in the short time (ice tower the goat!). I think one thing that is missing that would give the game a bit of tension would be a boss mob every 5-10 waves to keep you on your toes that appears in greater numbers as you go on!
All the art looked nice and while the level could use a bit of spice that doesn't take away from the gameplay.
Overall, I really enjoyed the game and would love to see you develop it more, nice work!
It took me a sec to figure out what I was supposed to be drawing so I didn't survive the first try, but after I got the hang of it drawing on the lines it got pretty fun!
I enjoyed the shapes getting more complex as the levels progressed and the introduction of the rotating shapes was cool too!
also on the first attempt that I failed on, I was still able to control the character and draw the lines and wanted to see how far it would let me go and I managed to beat it after losing which was funny lol
I went to floor 12, I felt like the summons weren't really needed, I think if they were able to direct enemy shots away from you, they would be more useful I only ended up summoning them a couple times and instead started collecting them I got up to 50! I liked the replayability, the art and overall, it was a fun little game!
I gotta know the lore tho, why are we destroying all these guys, they don't seem so bad!! :sob:
Like others have said, it reminded me of papers please even though I haven't played it! Took me a sec to figure out what to do but I got into the swing of things really quick! One gripe I have is (and maybe I just didn't see it while playing) the game suddenly ended I know there was a clock, but I wasn't watching it. Also, I wasn't sure what the baggage area was for, so I just kept checking for sus demons.
The game was a lot of fun!
PS, please post the music from in the level on YouTube or somewhere it was a bop!!
@chrisbeck I'm glad we were able to give you a laugh at least! We weren't sure what to do with the art style that would give us enough time to make things look good so ended up doing an experimental combo, I agree the player could be sped up I will make a post jam build to address this. Thanks for all the helpful feedback and thanks for playing!
@chifu - thanks for the feedback! I ended up spending most of the time making the turn-based system so there wasn't much time left to make things clear in the world
@abominablescience - I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I completely forgot to throw in a victory sound! That would have been a great thing to have, I appreciate the feedback!
@sam-minh - I completely agree with your judgment on the world, I also felt something was off but didn't have the time to test out any alternatives. Those UX improvements were on the list, but we didn't have the time to get them all working, will definitely get them in for a more complete version! Thanks a ton for all the feedback I'm glad you had a good time!
@baluj / @sevenso - I'm glad you both enjoyed the game! Thanks for the feedback!
Pretty funny concept, the physics was fun to see once I collected all the beepers, I tried my best to b-hop but the movement felt a bit stiff at times. Overall nice work with the graphics everything looked great, and it was a fun little experience!
Like others have mentioned, it was a bit tedious to follow the instructions, I've got bad memory so I spent most of my time trying to figure out what I had and following the book trail. Never had any success doing the summoning tho :(
On the other hand, the graphics looked cohesive, and the concept was really good! with a bit of simplification to the checking the book and seeing what you have the game would be even better, nice work!
You've got a fun little deck builder here! I somehow managed to kill myself with the cars I had on my own turn, not sure how I did it lol, I managed to get to level 5 tho!
As for things you could improve on: I think making the background some kind of place in a world (i.e. grass land or something like that) would add to the atmosphere of the game.
Another thing which isn't a huge deal I just am bad at noticing things is the mana if you made that a little more pronounced, I think that would help with readability! Overall, it was a fun game nice work!
Art looked great! I liked the song and the SFX, I think there could have been some SFX for the weapons as well but that's a minor gripe! One thing I think you could improve on is letting the player just select the unit rather than having to navigate with the WASD keys, same with dragging the mouse to look around the map. I really enjoyed the game nice work!
Pretty fun game! I figured out you can just press all the buttons to make them form a super dense group and just sweep the enemies pretty fast with hit and run attacks I beat the game! As other mentioned the follow distance for the cursor felt a bit short and since you can command each group separately making it a bit bigger would be a nice to have. Loved the game would definitely play some more if you continued!
A pretty funny idea, I managed to get a score of 7450! I would have liked to have had more than just the one dog poo to go to (and maybe I just missed other ones let me know) and forward travel was a little tough for me but overall, I enjoyed the game! Nice job on the submission!
A really fun game! Only wish I had gotten more money! I managed to make it to wave 23 was so close to the fabled wave 25, will definitely be giving it another try when I have time! One minor thing that you might want to change is the volume for the tank explosion, gave me a good jump when I heard it lol!
A great Doom like shooter! I loved the sounds design and the music it all tied together really well; I wasn't able to beat it but did really enjoy playing! I do feel like the inability to just when at low stamina was too restrictive and just increasing the movement speed to be the same as sprint speed like OG doom did would make the movement feel a bit better! Overall, great work on the game, if you decide to continue to refine and expand the game I'd love to see more!
I had the same issue as oysterhay, Couldn't get the browser version or the download version to work, it kept crashing.
You did a great job making the game feel like a dashboard and integrating the gameplay in a way that made sense! I would have liked to see a more robust customization with some different organism types other than snake but that's just me! Great work!
@cgraen glad you liked it, I agree I had plans to add health bars but ran out of time!
Thanks to everyone for playing!
@agent-maxwell I agree there is a 40 second wait between waves it could be shorter for sure!
@baturinsky & @oller125 We had planned to add group select but it didn't make it in in time, totally agree though!
@jojopalambas Yep having some shooting effects would be a good addition, and yeah, I didn't have time to fix the little guys aim!
@smilewood Glad you enjoyed it! And oh no a cheese!!
@simex Just added a new build to fix the UI issues, its not windowed so if you are still having issues let me know!
You've got a really cute and fun game here! I only managed to find 3 before I think I was killed not too sure, Having the health/screen have a more prominent damage effect would be nice to have, and as others have mentioned the camera could use a bit of tuning, also a small thing I wish I could see the coin counter lol. Critiques aside If you keep working on the game post jam you could make something really cool!
Really fun concept! Game was a bit difficult as others mentioned; I wasn't able to win kept getting spotted in the open area! There were a few spots where I couldn't see where my guy was so maybe having a shader to see through objects to see yourself or moving the cam to be more top down would solve the issue. Loved the game keep up the good work!
Pretty fun game I got stuck on level 3 after I died and tried to replay but it didn't reset the enemies or my shells, after I died the second time, I was just gone lol! Aside from the issues you did a great job!

Others have mentioned most of the critiques I have, one thing ill mention is the UI is a bit cramped and overlapping when not playing in full screen. But other than those It was fun looking for the creatures, Kirby is my favorite lol, great job!
The game was pretty fun though I wasn't sure what was going on at times, I think some explanations for abilities and the main goal would go a long way!
It's a solid start to a game for sure! It was pretty hard to know when or where to click on the upgrade so potentially moving it to its own menu would be a good idea. I enjoyed collecting as many fish as I could, but staying near the top and stacking fish seemed to be the best strategy since it broke really fast when getting far down. Overall, I really enjoyed the game and would love to see it with more content!
The graphics were really different from anything I've seen in a while it really stood out on that front! On the other hand, I loved the game and made it all the way to level 19, got tripped up on 13 for a while before I found out what to do. I think with more content this would be an amazing app to play on the phone or just as a time waster on par with or even better IMO than candy crush! fantastic work, I'd love to see more!
Game looked great and was a blast to play, only things id tweak is the side to side movement could be slowed down a bit, nice job!
Hey guys sorry about that forgot to set the page to public, Its fixed now!
@hurp @lrdjj @sagamore
@oeuegha to mine the resources go over to one of the 5 types and then hold down on Left mouse button until they break, once done you can extract them by returning to the top of the map from anywhere (that being -10 depth or higher) which will bring you back to the upgrade menu and extract your resources!
@ronalchue Glad you enjoyed it, there isn't a specific place to go just to explore the map and get the upgrades!
This is a great little game! throw some happy upbeat overworld type music and it would fit perfectly as N64 style game! Only issue I had was I got 20 crystals exactly and I needed to get more to leave the classic off by 1, I explored both paths though, which was a bunch of fun, if you wanted to expand on this more maybe adding in a time trial and potentially a leaderboard would be cool! Nice work!
I managed to get a high score around a bit over 520 ish, never was able to get too deep the lava pockets kept getting me! It is an interesting twist on the break-out idea; I think having a bit of leeway for hitting the lava maybe once or twice and a bit easier way to navigate to the side to avoid it would be nice to have! Great job!
Didn't manage to get farther than this, but I really enjoyed the game! the vibes were great, and it was a great time!

This was really fun, it was like the opposite of only up and combining it with a clicker was an interesting twist! I managed to pull 3rd on normal as of my comment (I'm _ty)! I didn't really feel that the time slow helped me out too much I rather opted to use the dash and double jump more, I would have liked to see maybe some UI to show when your abilities are charged and how long they lasted for in the case of the time stop, but that's just cosmetic stuff not totally essential. Overall great work!
A fun little game, it got really tough by depth 5 all my guys got taken and I couldn't react in time! I felt that the movement didn't really add much to the gameplay aside from situating myself in the center of my group, and potentially adding an image of the player in the how to section to show what you look like (I'm not very observant lol) will help first time players, but other than that you got a really sold game, nice work!
Screenshot 2025-04-20 035034.png
Fun little game you've got here, I think I managed to get every different ending death and the win! Nice work!
Clink pretty much sums up all the thoughts I had, moving the timer down and being a bit clearer on the mechanics like the timer reset you mentioned but other than that I think you did a great job especially since you made it all from scratch! I'm looking forward to future updates if you decide to polish up the game more or add new features!
First off congrats on your first jam, even just finishing a game to submit is a challenge so consider this a success!
I have a couple critiques for you: the UI in the web version was really large and took up a lot of space it ended up covering a good portion of the upper left of the screen for me. next up the motion blur I feel wasn't needed here and kind of felt off putting. for the next one I'm sure it just came down to time constraints, but it would have been nice to have maybe a darker brick texture for the walls instead of the white blocks to make the level feel more cohesive. Additionally, as others have mentioned the strange size changing of the player made moving around a tad bit jarring, and having the sprite flip to match the direction would have been nice to have as well.
I hope this doesn't come across as too harsh I hope you can aim even higher for the next one, keep up the good work!
I only managed to beat the first encounter the other two were brutal! Great job for your first jam submission the graphics and audio were great and i had a lot of fun playing!
You nailed the atmosphere of the game got a solid spooky vibe to it, got me with a jump scare when I had to step away for a moment! While it didn't bother me much, others mentioned that the red targets you need to remove could probably be turned into something more fitting of the setting like a screw or something similar, and a how to play menu would be a nice just to give you an idea of what to do when the monsters show up!
Super cozy game! I had a blast flying the hoop track and getting the fun cosmetics, flying felt great and the controls were solid only wish there was an arrow or pointer to the shop! Great work!
You've got a fun little game here, the fish were silly looking, and the audio feedback was great! I had a fun time playing! Also, if you are interested, I managed to break the game and get stuck unable to buy a new tank by selling the tank while it was adding/counting up my storage capacity lol
The OS theme was great loved the slightly covered classic windows background and BOSD game over screen! Most people have already touched on the difficulty ramp, so I won't say much there though it was rough with the similar colors for my colorblind ass lol. I do wish you had a tad bit more time to look at your board but like the game over screen said it's a skill issue haha great work!
As others have mentioned you did a great job with the level design and the minimalistic art style worked great for the setting and story you were telling! I would have liked to see some simple animations for things like the pipe breaking and key card slide but those were small details. Loved the game great work!
[side note: I tried jumping into the machine, but it didn't stop for me I am not organic big sad ;-; lol]
@nekobones @slurp @arnazian Hey guys I'm so sorry I didn't realize it was still private! its open now thanks for checking out our game in advance!
@flatgub I'm glad you found it funny! we had planned more attachments and gun bases but ran out of time thanks for playing!
@martingonn I added a Linux build hopefully it works I don't have a way to test on my end so let me know!
You've got a great well-made side scroller here, I wasn't able to get all the stamps or make it to the boss but I had a blast trying to collect all the stamps! It's also really cool you added controller support as well I used it over keyboard!
Loved the game I wasn't that good at stacking so I only got up to 443 lol, only thing I would have added would be a directional arrow for direction and like others have said zooming out as you grow your size!
Great game, had me nervous something was going to happen especially as I read the logs! I do wish the controls stayed on screen maybe small and in the corner as I forgot about the journal button for a while and got stuck, shame on me for not reading lol. Regardless you nailed the atmosphere, and it was a fun play through!
Nice work I enjoyed clearing out the areas even though I only managed to get a high of B on one of them! I unfortunately couldn't finish all the levels as it kept crashing on level 3 when using the precision chisels. Loved the voice acting and premise though so good job!
The art and voices were great, and it is a fun little game! I did end up getting stuck in a loop where all the trades were the same and nothing I had worked but I got most of the items!
Interesting concept, I was throwing around the stuff all over the floor lol, I managed to only have 1 innocent casualty luckily! My memory isn't that great so I forgot a lot of the terms It would be nice to have a machine you can scan the letters to view them in the pc. I enjoyed the game nice work!
Hey there! Congrats on making your first 3d game they are always a challenge to get right.
As others have said, the performance was not great especially when enemies would spawn in, I tried both the web and download versions and while it did perform better than the web-based version it was still running at rather low frames.
Another area you could have some improvement is the level itself the floor not being smooth requiring you to jump to get around wasn't ideal, you could potentially add a sort of auto step up for the blocks if you intended to keep the blockier style.
Additionally, you might want to add a way to see if/when the enemies are attacking to make clearer the range and speed at which they attack. And on the topic of enemies having a way to know where to go to find more would be nice to have as I wandered a while before finding more and I wasn't sure if you have a timer to spawn them or if they are generated with the world.
I hope this is helpful, best of luck!
Like others have said, the graphics looked great and the premise is solid! I did get stuck in the plants a couple times and had to wait out the timer, but I did manage to collect all the upgrades!
I managed to save the day and beat the game collecting all 4 parts! It's a fun game (I did cheat a bit after I found out you could click faster to shoot more) and the graphics/audio are nice! My main pain points would be that the guns were offset making it harder to hit enemies than if it were centered and that maybe moving the movement to wasd might have been nicer though that might just be me.
Had a blast collecting all the resources! Like others mentioned the game crashed when going to a world with too much on it but the gameplay loop was a fun one, I do wish there was an upgrade to extend time on each planet but that's a minor gripe. Great job with this one!
The art, audio and visuals were great! I had a blast playing until the 4th or 5th level where I just couldn't find the last radars, having some kind of mini map or maybe even a pull up map would have made it much easier to locate them since I kept going in circles. Loved the game though great work!
Had a blast playing this one, the story premise was really funny, and the characters were fun to meet! I managed to mostly breeze through it by spamming the triple shot and healing, the boss fight was definitely quite the up in difficulty though! I did accidentally push the cat through the wall at the end though lmao (rip cat) Overall, I really enjoyed it, Great work!
This was a great retro style game I had fun blasting away at the enemies and saving the day!
Congrats on making a well done RTS in such a short time, I got my ass beat the first time I played even on easy LOL, I was able to get a win after that though! The music was nice and the theme was well implemented, overall, I had fun so great job!
I really struggled with this one lol! I'm really bad with platformers, I really liked the graphics but like others mentioned it didn't quite fit the theme. Regardless of that you've got a solid game even if I couldn't beat it!
Thanks everyone for playing I'm glad you had fun!
@kahztein easy, medium and hard actually all have different levels we probably should have changed the text to better reflect that!
Like the others I didn't have anyone to play with, but I really liked the movement and the UI looked great I was really impressed with the sonar system and think that you could easily turn this into a great single player game given some levels and AI to fight with a little story to go with!
Others have already mentioned my gripes with the movement and better indicating selectable, aside from that I think you have a great base for a full game here the atmosphere and mood felt good!
Interesting concept I would have liked to have a standardized control scheme, but I did manage to make a couple deliveries before something I didn't see exploded me lol. Nice job making something without a game engine though and congrats on publishing!
I do wish that pc users could lock the cursor, but I got used to the cam movement pretty quickly, the graphics looked nice with the pixelated form, and I enjoyed solving the puzzles, though the first room I just ran around for a few mins before locating the gap to go through. It was a nice little game especially considering you made the engine!
Phew that was a tough one I was stuck on puzzle 7 for a WHILE, I loved the challenge of this one it wasn't too hard that I wanted to give up but wasn't too easy that I breezed through it so wonderful job hitting that balance. I kinda just stumbled through, and brute forced the puzzles until I got it right but that's a valid strategy right?? Anyway, the music was great and I loved the game great job!
I got all the upgrades and escaped! I didn't feel like you really needed to use the other tools other than the miner since there wasn't any threat of the bombs besides losing some ores. (I actually used the bombs to dig around faster!) It was an enjoyable experience though good work!
I made it to 6 quotas before the game ended? I wasn't sure what to do to reboot I clicked shutdown but that froze my game. I did really like the UI though where to click took me a sec to figure out. Overall, it's a neat idea and if you developed it further it could turn out to be pretty interesting!
Lots of funny posts to make and see! I only managed to get halfway to midterms, but it was fun to see what would come next!
I managed to beat it after a handful of runs got a best time of 19 Ish seconds, it was pretty difficult to tell what was making me reset as I was able to clip through some of the cube corners without any issues. I like the idea though having a more "proper" path or multiple paths might give it a better traversal goal. I think you could have something here if you make some tweaks to the game feel and sort of pivot to levels!
A funny concept, it was entertaining to see what lines would get said although I couldn't really pin down what would make one good. The main critique I have is to put some more work into the UI. Looking forward to seeing how you evolve the game!
