Very nice, "Old PC Hunting Game" is a very specific flavor of old tech, we pitched a similar idea when we were brainstorming on the theme. The graphics have a lot of flair, it's simple, but what is there is pretty polished.

@jungledorf It was an idea that came to mind due to time constraints. I originally wanted a mining game with old headlamps but felt that it was over ambitious and I lost a good chunk of time just thinking and panicking about what to do. I randomly remembered Moorhuhn and was playing those crappy Cabela's hunting games that day so I settled on that. Worked out better than I expected. Thank you for playing!
This game is an absolute comedic masterpiece that completely nails the chaotic and gritty Balkan atmosphere! Scanning the Terragen-rendered backgrounds for wild game while managing your weapons with classic arcade controls is pure retro entertainment. The hilarious premise and catchy tunes by DJ LBTMY make it an unforgettable jam experience. Huge kudos to Phil and the team for putting together such a memorable adventure!
This is really something else, a psychedelic sensory overflow with addictive yet disturbing gameplay that jumps at you. Though I'm not a fan of hunting for sport I was intrigued by this unique style that you have developed where simplistic drawings meet chaos and violence. And the attacking birds are damn scary. Good job on managing to implement so much.
Balkan anything is automatically peak humor for me, the music is also peak humor, I loved the gunshot sound and overall its a fun game to relieve stress, the gunshot sound feels very good. Good job!
I really liked this game! The gameplay is simple, but the sound effects and little animations make the shooting super satisfying. It felt great to rack up huge combos! All of the little challenges (being accurate, swapping weapons, identifying creatures you can't shoot, handling the aggressive ones, etc.) blended really nicely together to make it challenging as well.
I really like the look of the game. The simple 2D sprites against the detailed 3D rendered background is a lovely contrast (and great for gameplay too). The music was quite funky... good funky or bad funky? I'm not sure, which I think is a good thing 🙃.
~~I wish I could've played this more, but I kept experiencing a bug with the wolves where one would seemingly spawn offscreen. I couldn't shoot it, so I'd just slowly die. I experienced this on every level I tried except for the first one (of course) and, for some reason, the LSD on Animals level?? The wolf came from the same place every time in that one.~~
Overall, amazing entry, I love it :) ~~Ping me if you get the wolf bug fixed! I'd like to play the rest of the levels.~~

Oh it does get hectic! Panic weapon switch is something to get used to for sure.
Also didn't expect goofy teef from wolves - made me laugh!
I think turn is a bit too slow for how fast game is... maybe a tiny bit faster would make experience better. Turning with mouse to the side also could feel a bit more smooth. But other than that - game was actually fun for me! Thanks :)
Loved this one and couldn't believe it when I got blown up by a mine 😭
I wasn't good enough to beat endless or last stand but had a blast completely eradicating all the wildlife lol

@kr4ft3r Thank you! If I had more time, I would have added a separate ending where you are arrested for poaching, to add to the, already abundant, absurdity of the game.

@baziki Lol! I think that the wolves still go off-screen in the Last Stand level, but I'm not sure. The weapon switching mechanic was essential for adding extra levels of stress to the game. The music is generic Balkan synth music that you can hear being played live "under the tent" as we say it.

Lol, I just played the game, while I don't appreciate violence towards animals this was simply hilarious in some way XD and actually pretty fun...; also appreciating including Balkan countries XD ; you must be a true balkan dude hahahaah

I don't think hunting in the Balkans is quite like what I'm used to in the US...
This was fun, I really liked the feedback of getting a hit and the continually increasing pitch of the streak multiplier. I did run into a bug on a few of the levels where my health randomly ticked down? EDIT: read the other comments, and realized I also forgot to turn xD
Definitely reminds me of the old "Big Buck Hunter" arcade games!
A truly wonderful piece of work. The pre-rendered backgrounds with the ms paint looking sprites gave the game a ton of charm, and the gameplay was super fun. The amount of content (3 BONUS levels!?) was impressive.
