I loved the blend of 2d and 3d in this! Great ambiance!
Feedback: It would have been nice to have the 2d trees and foliage billboarded.

Hi! I just tested your game, and I really like the artwork and the ability to roam around a bit. I had a bit of trouble understanding what a monster was, and it's a shame there isn't a win screen, but otherwise, it's a good interpretation of the theme.
@captainzo yep, i think the monsters need to make noise or something. Definitely some room for improvement. Thanks for playing!
Nice game, the 2D art is really beautiful. I think it would work a bit better if the 2D sprites always faced the camera rather than having a fixed direction so you can't see the sides and they don't stick out as much.
@void4 I thought about billboarding everything but I wasn't sure. I'll have to try it.
such a cute game! i can walk around here all day
cute idea! would be better with smoother camera movement
@marra Ya, something about in the compiling made it jittery. Definitly something that needs to be fixed.
@oldzombie14 thank you so much!
I enjoyed the calm relaxing music for this one! Would have been nice if the environment plane for all of the objects faced towards the player as you move around, but that's icing.
Nice work, some of the creatures really blend into the background, wasn't till i realized that creature sprites always faced you could I find the last one
I like the artstyle that mix the 3dmodel and 2d pictures together,it looks very fresh, but i dont very understand how to play it
@wzjo there are tiny creatures hidden around the islands. You just have to touch them by waking into them. There is a little bird in front of a palm tree at spawn, and a slime under the first bridge. Some of them are small and hard to find, but there are 11 in total.
@vipaka @jesse-martin thank you for playing. I was really on the fence about making everything face you. I'll have to try it. If I add some sound ques to the critters then it should work.
Chill music :) Critters in water were a bit disturbing.
Hey I liked the aesthetic choices a lot! I think it would be very cute if the critters all followed you bobbing along after you woke them up, also it would help spot the ones that are still asleep vs the ones you woke up from further away.
Nice game idea ! The atmosphere is really chill and I enjoyed the art of the creatures. Maybe you could try to make the sprite always facing the camera ? Like the idea I think with a little polish this game has potential !
This game is sort of eerie! Some genuinely unique moments that probably weren't intended as horror, but I feel were very engaging. Stand out for me is when you interact with the flower, I love how the eyes look strangely human. Some issues with rendering occur, especially when you first load in. The water seems to overlap onto the world infront of me at times. You could also billboard some textures, it's hard to make out what I'm looking at sometimes. I like the character design, the music is chill, it's a cozy game (Yet eerie for me personally!). I'd love to see something like this where the game gets progressively more bizarre and spooky depending on how many creatures you collect, similar to the popular fake ARG game "Petscop". A nice experience with some rough edges, overall it's great for a solo project. Very well done :)!

@scrumblob now I kind of like that idea... Spookies house of jump scares, lol.
@v1ru6 @frostbeak @lussard-studio thanks for playing. I'll try billboarding in the post LD update.
I really enjoyed the calm, chill atmosphere of this game! The mix of 2D and 3D art was really unique, and the cute creatures gave the whole experience a cozy feel. I do agree that some of the critters were a bit tricky to spot, especially since they blended into the background at times. Adding sound cues or having the critters follow you after waking them up could help make things a bit clearer. Overall, it’s a lovely, relaxing experience with a lot of charm. Great job!
Nice entry! I think as others have said billboarding the decors would help, and maybe also a mouse sensitivity option? Also the lack of end screen made me a bit confused at the end once i found them all. Otherwise, I really like the idea of a sort of hide and seek game! well done!
Good game overall, sadly no win screen, had little problem finding them but then realized i passed by the last one by accident, and also sadly no music, but design is pretty good!
@slava-besckaravainii no music? There should be music. I'll have to double check that.
Thank you for playing.
Oh yes. Sorry it is my bug all is great, music too
Love the graphics, I'm a sucker billboarded objects. I had a weird bug though, when the game captured my cursor the camera would look up at the sky and spin wildly :-/
The 2D art was a great choice along with the peaceful music giving this a nice peaceful feeling.
I felt the mouse sensitivity was quite high and it made the camera difficult to control. This is a personal preference with how high to have it, so I think a way to adjust it in game would have helped.
@mrpossoms ya, the curse always spun down for me and looked at the ground. It's a weird bug and I had no idea how to fix it. Thanks for playin.
@jammygunns thank you for playing. I think a mouse sensitivity option would be important if I went any farther with this.
Cool game!
Very relaxing experience. Graphics are pleasant and music fits perfectly. It's a pleasure to explore the world in search of the little critters. It took me a while to figure out that I can go down into the water without dying - I guess I'm still scared by "Jaws"
Dumbo octopus is my favorite of all the critters. I noticed only one bug - a visual one. On the last island, some of the sprites hover above the floor.

I played the original submission for the purposes of rating. Nice and unique entry over all.
Nice relaxing atmosphere, it's like a 3D Where's Waldo-style game. Unfortunately this triggered my motion-sickness quite intensely, so I had to stop after finding 7 of the creatures :frowning2: I noticed the mouse sensitivity was super high, which might be what triggered the motion-sickness.
@boxedmeatrevolution sorry about the motion sickness. I definitely need to add some options for mouse sensitivity.
@fabula-rasa thank you for playing. I've been redoing some of the graphics to upload after LD ratings are complete.
Others have mentioned most of the critiques I have, one thing ill mention is the UI is a bit cramped and overlapping when not playing in full screen. But other than those It was fun looking for the creatures, Kirby is my favorite lol, great job!
Love the artstyle! I would make the sprites face the camera though! The critters made me curl my toes in excitement!
@deadroach Thanks for playing. I have already fixed the sprites to face you but waiting till after LD is over to upload it. Sorry you lost three viewers ;)
@lelulagames Thanks for tuning in! And no worries lol I'm sure the people who left were just diehard critter wranglers upset with my failure to wrangle critter
I like the art! It seems pretty consistent, and the creatures are cute.
The gameplay is pretty basic, and I probably wouldn't have wanted to keep playing for much longer, but I did want to stick around long enough to find all 11.
I do agree with some other people that it would have been nice if the sprites faced the camera, but I thought the game was enjoyable to play.
Nice game! The last one was tricky to find but I did manage in the end! It was very relaxing and the music fit the game pretty well.
@jcourt @fractal thank you for playing.
