Ah, yeah... My apologies bud. I was only testing chrome as I wrote it. Thanks for trying it though!
Wow! Thanks alot everyone! Also, I just fixed a few bugs.
* FireFox users should now see their player :)
* Player name is more easily clickable in the lobby (for readying up)
Very awesome dude, quite an achievement. Especially for a 48 hour jam. Good job!
Sorry, I relabeled it appropriately.
You need to download the source and run it on an iOS device. Apple doesn't allow you to build an app and share it freely :(
Thanks man! :)
Thanks guys! Yeah the limited access part of it kind of sucks. Anyway, thanks for taking a look at it!
Thanks dude :D
I would like to port it at some point. But since I wrote it from scratch in objective-c, very little, if any of this code would be transferable to android. It would essentially be a full rewrite. :(
Great job! It seems like you guys were pretty ambitious and it paid off!
This game is awesome dude, well done. Fun to play and I dig the music :)
Awesome game dudes! Great job! I had a good time playing. It was pretty funny too :D
Great job! I love the music! Nice intro too!
Very nice art! This game is pretty challenging too, but then again maybe it's because I'm awful at platforming haha. Good work!
Good job, those saw blades caught me by surprise :)
Great work man! It's very visually polished! Pretty tough too.
This is awesome. Great job guys!
For some reason the controls don't work for me :(
I'm on a mac, running it the browser (chrome).
Where are you in the world? If you're still having trouble let me know and I can spin up a server nearer to you!
@jayprog Ah yes, it's in there, but unfortunately most browsers don't allow 'auto play' of media unless you explicitly allow it in security settings. So playing the sounds from JS is tricky. I need to eventually add a 'start' button, that's how most peeps get around it :)
Pretty dang polished! Especially for a LD game. Good job!
Very cool! Definitely QWOP like, and similarly challenging
I had issues running it. ldd made it look like your game wasn't able to find all those .so's for your engine. Do you need to set some environment variables to get it to find them?
Pretty cool. I like the story telling you managed to incorporate.
Cool game! I saw lua code in there. Curious what tools you used!
Great game mechanics. I was able to spend moves though while I had one of the help windows open, but that was a very minor bug
Man, very cool! I love frantic puzzles like this. It has a very nauticrawl like feel. Well done!
Pretty tricky to keep flippy from tipping!
Very creepy! Reminds me a lot of Amnesia: Dark Descent. Good work!
Cool idea. The anatomy of these creatures is interesting . Good work, seemed like something crashed when I accidentally fed the beast some poisoned food.
As a cat owner, I loved this. Good art work, and fun to jump around. :)
One little suggestion is to add some feed back when the cat attacks and hits a nightmare. I accidentally killed my self a few times trying to get closer to hit them.
One small suggestion I would add is maybe the addition of some flying enemies. Just shooting at guys on the ground swarming the gate isn't too challenging. Good job though regardless!
The controls were definitely tricky. Would be much easier to have some key bindings too. Cool graphics though. Pseudo 3d is always sweet.
Dude this is really cool! So simple, no learning curve but pretty engaging. Excellent work!
@thefruckets It's a playdate game, so you'll either need the device or simulator. The simulator comes with the SDK which you can download here: https://play.date/dev/
@inre-dan I know, it's a bit of a sad limitation. Thanks for looking!
@kristirose88 dog lovers unite! Thanks so much for checking it out!
Hey @samuel-hollywood-summers & @bork-bork what operating systems are yall running? What's kind of unfortunate is the playdate sim runs compiled code natively, and I think the version here was built on a mac. I can try to make some builds that will allow you to test!
Liked the music, style and art, but unfortunately the progressively worsening lag issue prevented me from finishing :(
Love the graphics, I'm a sucker billboarded objects. I had a weird bug though, when the game captured my cursor the camera would look up at the sky and spin wildly :-/
Cute game, good use of the theme. Loved the fact that turning the drive on and increasing the thrust made everything heavy :)
Great concept! It definitely gets hectic! I found myself devising a seating order to keep the patrons straight in my head . It would be nice if each customer was distinguishable, maybe some hats or different colors or something? Good work regardless!
Fun! Leveling and UI made it feel like a proper game! Loved the pixel art, though the little roaches were a bit tough to see at times against the wood floor.
