Very languid game, great work!

Very languid game, great work!
This takes me back, my first ever games were made on scratch years and years ago. Love the ants following the path after you find food like real ants would, it adds a ton of character and the noises the ants make are fun.
The death screens are fantastic, great work!
Really cool game, love the artstyle!
Really impressive, great work!
Really impressive, great work!
I really enjoyed this! It's fun to figure out the different crafting recipes and, while it is minimal, the combat doesn't come off as repetitive. It stays enjoyable and there is a feeling of progression as your creatures start to do the work for you that keeps things moving naturally. Great work
I have to agree with patrick star's assessment of this game, very cool
Wow. Just wow. Seriously incredible work. Great job! Coming soon is a masterpiece, I love the ____________________ and the way the _________________ interacts with _______________________ is seriously impressive! Awesome work!
Really fun, loved the weapons and it was super satisfying to make those little gibbering fucks shut their traps. Great work!
Challenging game! Love the magnifying glass mechanic, really creative. Needs a speed up button, but I could just be spoiled from Bloons. Also the ability to earn money mid-round would be nice
Really cool! Great vibe, loved the glow effects!
Cool game, LOVE the art style. The music is a bit grating lmao but having the fleas able to hoist each other up over things is super creative, in general this game is one of a kind. Really creative premise, great work
@she-wrote great job getting all 5 that's awesome! I definitely wanted to add sound effects and just ran out of time lol thanks for all the feedback! And I wasn't sure what to make reload but wanted to have all mouse inputs, I could've used right click but then how would you spin? Thanks so much for playing
@hubol We plan to continually update the game and put it on itch, first order of business is SFX lol I just prioritized some really dumb stuff and ran out of time. Right click to spin
@mrs-wheelsx Thank you! We're definitely adding SFX in the next update I just ran out of time and hoped the music would fill that role in its unfortunate absence. I appreciate the kind words the music was by me while all graphics are courtesy of @Autotrophian , and both of us really enjoyed your duck smashing game, one of my favorites I've played this jam so far. Really appreciate you taking the time to play the game and I'm glad you enjoyed the clear premise lol
@mapletwig I'm glad you liked it! The ocean is a cruel world lol
@spoons I agree some fish can hide in the corpses particularly the jellyfish, I like the obscuring as a game mechanic but I think maybe if I had the corpses able to be pushed around by the living fish it could fix that, I'll look into it. Thank you for playing the game and for taking the time to leave feedback, I really appreciate it
@steamhat lol we considered eating the corpses but decided the main character should be vegetarian since apparently some piranhas are, we just didnt get around to ever doing anything with that idea. SFX are definitely top priority for next update because I agree the game could be a lot more fun with them, I just misplaced my priorities a bit lol. Thanks so much for playing and leaving feedback we really appreciate it
@patomkin Thank you! The jellyfish and the octopuses' bubbles hide a bit too well amongst the carnage, in a more full version of the game I'm sure I'll give the jellyfish some sort of electric effect or something to make them clearer, and give the bubble a less direct path to the player. Thank you for the feedback, it's super helpful
@bobap Thanks so much for the feedback especially about the game-breaking bug lol, I'll have to patch that when I get the chance. I'll add it to the feature list for the time being lmao
@sviborg Thank you so much for all the kind words!
@daria-toni We're glad you liked it! This game has us quite inspired and there will for sure be a more official release of it with sound effects very very soon (probably on itch). Thanks so much for playing!
@thyoi our first fan art! We're honored, thanks so much for playing
@loveschach My eyes were WIDE 2 sentences into this comment, funniest response we've gotten so far for sure lmfao thanks for playing
@jack12342 Thank you so much! This comment led me to find out that Gamemaker studio 2 no longer requires a separate license to export web games. You are single handedly responsible for the HTML5 port of this game on itch
@beeb-gamecodecompany I'm playing games on stream so I'm not leaving long comments, here's your review https://www.youtube.com/live/hpj66BNksZo?si=90ihlJlezYruCMLy&t=1260
and I'm liking my own comments, you can take off your tin foil hat
@beeb-gamecodecompany no worries I understand my comment on your game was odd lol, sorry if I came off as hostile with the tin foil hat thing it sounded meaner than I meant it
@willby Thanks for the kind words! The clutter from the dead bodies is meant to add difficulty (and make it overall more mesmerizing) but in future versions we will distinguish them better for sure, the jellyfish and the bubble from the octopus can be very tricky to make out. Probably will put a trail on the bubble and electricity on the jellyfish + sounds to warn you but we're working out all the kinks lol. Sound effects are top of our priorities for sure. Thanks again for the feedback and for stopping by the stream, we seriously appreciate it!
@langotriel I don't know how we didn't make the connection between our character and the salty spittoon, we're both huge spongebob fans. The anchor tattoo at the very least is transparently spongebob inspired, even if subconsciously. To our credit no assault rifles that I know of turn up in spongebob, though I must confess I haven't been keeping up with the new episodes. Thanks so much for the kind words and for being a part of the stream, we appreciate it a ton. I especially appreciate the compliments towards the music, warms my cold gray heart
@metriko Thanks for the feedback and for being a part of the stream! And great job getting all 5 stars! Obviously I was intending a dodge to be a part of the game but in its current state the right click only spins your fish. It has no practical use but I liked the animation so much I couldn't not include it, the fact that a button to uselessly twirl occupies your right click while the manual reload is so inconvenient just made us laugh so we kept it in. I've already added damage frames for the sunfish, so that'll be in the next update (and it looks a LOT better, so you're right lol). Thanks for playing and rating and chatting, your game was sincerely one of my favorites I've played all jam. Glad you had fun shooting up schools!
Ants are tiny creatures! #KILTit
I didn't really get the story from the game, but I liked the pixel art
As a former exterminator this is exactly what it's like
Love the artstyle! I would make the sprites face the camera though! The critters made me curl my toes in excitement!
@lelulagames Thanks for tuning in! And no worries lol I'm sure the people who left were just diehard critter wranglers upset with my failure to wrangle critter
Loved it! Really cool stuff. Mine crashed at the end I'm not sure if that was intentional but I liked it!
Really cool game! Great work!
The ending is seriously so funny! Great work!
I don't know why you called it Porn Planet
Must admit I felt a bit mislead
I'm youthful so I made it work,
but did have to think of big breasts
This game is super fun, love the artstyle and the gameplay is innovative while self explanatory. The additional elements that get added on as you play to complicate things (like the cat, which I love the sprite for) keep the game engaging throughout, and suggest the sky's the limit for what could be waiting for you in the next room. There was a sort of surrealist vibe to the whole thing - aided heavily by the music - that I really liked. What you guys were able to do with the limited time you were given is seriously impressive. Great work.
Really nice, great work!
Really cool game, great work!
innovative! They don't make em like this anymore!
5's across the board. Poop is funny and I love sucking it and spitting it out. Great work!
I thought the use of street view was really cool, completely unique game for sure. Won't be playing another jam game like this this year so definitely kudos for that!
That ruled af
This is phenomenal! Love this game, really really impressive you guys were able to put this together in 3 days. I played with 3 other people on stream and had a blast. Great 3d models, great music, and a great idea in general. Seriously great work.
I really like the art, the mech-ant is "freaking shweet!"
This game looks fantastic. Also, super creative idea.
Very impressive! The camera is a bit odd at times but the spider is really cool and the movement is very well done. Overall really great work
Cool game! Love the art style.
Super fun game, I got what I assume to be both endings, lonely and true story. A lot of attention to detail was put into this and it was quite enjoyable running around as a chicken. I also got to experience getting fried in the vents which was fun all around. great work
This game has a very soothing nature. The music is a perfect fit. I'll admit I thought the gameplay mechanic was dumb at first when I was playing through "Basics," but as I played through the different modes I was won over completely. The way you made legitimate puzzles I had to stop and think about where every piece of the puzzle is a shrinking or expanding turtle is both fantastic, and a sentence I never thought I'd be expressing to another human being. The idea this game spawned from feels like it should never have been able to provide us with a game that's this enjoyable and well put together - but here it is. Captivatingly simple and simply captivating, seriously great work on this one.

Only had the chance to play singleplayer, looks like it would be really fun in multiplayer. Really cool use of the theme, the concept for this is super creative and well executed! Love the main character, the appearance of the game as a whole is very likeable right off the bat, cool stuff! Would love to see this fleshed out
Love the music!
This is fantastic. Well done
I'm befuddled
Really cool game, love the art style.
Complete, lovely game with a sweet ending. I really enjoyed this one.
poppet second win.PNG Poppet is the single greatest game to yet grace this wretched Earth. My poppet playtime is likely rivaled only by those who developed the game. The first time I played Poppet I played it for 40 minutes straight, and there is uncut video evidence of this occurrence. The game initially was really small and in the middle of my screen, and nothing really worked right but I was glued to it. I couldn't stop. My first time playing, I achieved one intentional Poppet prediction with the help of @Autotrophian and called it a night, but with the caveat that if the game were updated to fix the bugs we would 100% be back. Fast forward a couple of days, and there had been a bugfix. And back we were. We played Poppet in-between game requests on stream and in turn played it for an additional hour and 8 minutes, defeating 6 poppets in one night and becoming the first streamer to beat the game even in its still decently buggy state with the help of @Autotrophian and @Langotriel , discovering that this game is stupidly fun when in a call with 2 other people you're sharing your screen with. Fast forward to today where yet another bugfix drops and the game is genuinely perfect now. With v1.2 every game-breaking issue that plagued the game at launch has been patched and this game stands strong as my favorite from this jam. I see so much potential here. To date my total playtime comes out to around 2 hours and 5 minutes, since we came back and defeated every single type of poppet in one night (and an extra phantom for good measure). So as of right now 9 Poppets is the score to beat. This one is a 10/10. Seriously great work.

Clumpnuggets? πππππππ Love how quirky the concept is!!! Could maybe use more.
The movement and bouncing around with the bombs feels super smooth, well done!
Really cool! Love the coyote time!
Cool game! I haven't seen any other tower defense games yet, fun stuff
Love the music!
Didnt run but I rated it 5 stars anyway because the name reminds me of my name and I'm trying to practice self love
I could not beat it but I had a good time, I like that the tie in with depth was literally just the exposition at the beginning, I say count it! Had fun rolling around dodging the big guys huge sword swings, which look as impactful visually as they are damaging to my poor player's hp. For the life of me I couldn't heal on purpose but I did manage to do it accidentally a couple of times, parrying proved to be quite difficult or at least I couldn't seem to get the timing right. Overall I liked it even if the theme is only there in spirit lol
https://www.youtube.com/live/UsbxyfIYWuc?si=rovzazszjm1ez9mW&t=6741
Really nice art style! The background of the title screen is super cool, almost hypnotizing. The sound it makes when you move gets a bit repetitive but that's a nitpick, overall really cool game.
dungeon-map.png
Love the color palette! The game is simple yet very effective, love that your movement is upgraded as you progress through the game. Everything works flawlessly and I was able to beat the game so it of course gets points for that. Overall I had a good time with this one!
https://www.youtube.com/live/IBbnvXqYD3A?si=XAaGgQXk9nYSmR1o&t=1957
The art style is incredibly charming and it's very satisfying drilling through the blocks, so much so that it's very unsatisfying when one is left just out of reach lol. Feels like when you peel a sticker off of something and a few white chunks are left over. This is the only game I've played thus far that let me flush myself down a toilet, great work!
This game is incredible! The physics work flawlessly and the movement is seriously fun to try and get the hang of. I love the way it looks too, made me think of Kirby's Dream Course with how the perspective is played. The uncanny vibe the music brings is just the cherry on top. The entire aesthetic of this is intoxicating and I absolutely love this interpretation of the theme.
Here's a video of me figuring out there's a dash button after having played the game already for more time than I'd care to admit! For comparison it took me 331.2 to complete it with no dash. 56.3 is now my best time.
https://www.youtube.com/live/7r97dJUIDyk?si=wbGWrQ_HCX1i56go&t=1881
Sub-2 minutes is as good as it's gonna get lol, I'm generally not great at video games so I'm pretty proud of that. Took me far too long to realize the up arrow wasn't doing anything at all, but when I stopped pressing it I got way worse at the game so I've still been pressing it. I didn't give this one enough praise on stream since I was nearing the end and didn't want to get roped into chasing a high score for an hour but rest assured I did that anyway once there wasn't a live audience of people watching me like a caged zoo animal as I floundered around your game (somewhat literally.) The music is really good, love how it changes and gets more intense as you get higher and higher up. The movement is creative, smooth, and glitch-free with gameplay that's both self explanatory and super addictive. Overall great work and please never change your intro! hadalhighscore.JPG
Surreal game! The outside part with the horses is seriously beautiful but just overall everything looks really really nice. I spent far too long walking down the SCP style endless hallway as well as trying to reach the blurry rainbow outside, but I did eventually realize I wasnt making any progress lmao. Really cool experience overall
https://www.youtube.com/live/dIHuvZhFPa8?si=f1GQ28Js5G_4Qhdy&t=154
I haven't played a lot of games this jam where the humor has appealed to me, but this one I found quite funny. Love the premise. The gameplay adds to the absurdity of what's going on and can yield some very unique sentences. My favorite that I got was "I reach for the depths here in darkness can I express my truth, Those normies there in the reefs wouldn't understand me like you do." because it's slam poetry and if I had just remembered to packet my sperm before talking to the damn squid she would have fallen head over high heels for my little incel protag and I could have totally gotten poor Gordo the underwater pussy he deserves. I liked this one a lot
This game is really well put together, I phased through some walls but it didn't take me out of the game one bit. I found myself just pretending the walls worked anyway to play how it was meant to be played, more than partially out of respect for the huge worm colon I was approaching rapidly and how cool it looked. Everything in this game looks great, love our crab protagonist and the name krabby asscape is a winner for sure. Really great work!
I am not a skilled gamer. This is evident from just how long I spent failing at your game before I finally managed to beat it by glitching through a wall, resulting in a totally empty victory. I was motivated fully by the idea that there would be an animation or even a frame of a crab crawling out of an asshole when I beat it. Of course you very well know that there is no frame of a crab crawling out of an asshole at the end of this game, but in pursuit of that desire I played your game for - and this is not an exaggeration at all - 2 hours and 28 minutes over the course of 3 streams. Here is a link to every single time I played your game, where if I had just been more methodical and had stopped trying to brute force my way through the worm's ass I could have probably done it in half that time. Anyway I like the game! Cool crab.

This is my favorite game of the entire jam thus far. Bar none. Such a fun concept and the fact that your movement becomes quicker as you play the game is perfect for my attention span, not that I was getting bored by any means. The idea of draining a lake is not only a super fun interpretation of the theme, but also a goal that I immediately felt compelled to chase. That drive was aided by the graphics which are super nice on the eyes and smooth, lag-free, satisfying movement. I love the machines and their many moving doodads, and it's incredible how well this game runs given just how many doodads are moving around. As was pointed out to me this is because of there being no shadows, which just led me to wonder why on earth this style isn't more common. The music is really nice and it's overall just a super relaxing experience that feels 100% complete. Nothing but praise for this. I had 43 games to get through on stream and I still spent 50 minutes playing this game all the way to completion. Fantastic work
This one is a lot of fun. The gameplay is both self explanatory and super addictive and the announcers are a super creative touch. Love how the music stops when my character breaks every bone in his body, really makes you FEEL the impact. That said the music is incredible, and overall this is one of my favorites from this jam.
https://www.youtube.com/live/UsbxyfIYWuc?si=ojKW5qkJOBqv9pnY&t=3790
I got the highscore for this build of the game but someone in these comments got like 62k so I assume the leaderboard resets every time you guys update, either way I'm considering myself the king of this game. We played in on stream and had a great time with it. Love the way it looks and plays, overall very impressive
https://www.youtube.com/live/wu_09x7tuLk?si=JkX0at8lUHAVA5Vm&t=12758
Played your game on the 4/20 stream! Was a coughing mess through a good bit of it for no particular reason but we had a good time! Overall it's quite well put together and I loved the smoking elf as well as the big fleshy goop monster
https://www.youtube.com/live/wu_09x7tuLk?si=3yhOsE9T2i2kPozB&t=10106
This game was played at the very beginning of the 4/20 stream so I wasn't very good at it and there was a bit of technical difficulty towards the beginning (on my stream, not your game) but I played it for an hour total so enjoy my floundering lmao, things pick up once a German appears at around 30 minutes into the stream so if you want to start at that part I don't blame you. Overall I ended up having fun despite my grumbling towards the beginning but you should add a cooldown to the attack because I found out you can spam it once I got to the boss. Rest assured I didn't spam it at all before that though, so you can see my fumbling about in all its glory
https://www.youtube.com/live/wu_09x7tuLk?si=4pQpoNqMIz98aLw3&t=1185
@emsea Thanks! In future updates I'll have it so theres some indication of what you can click on, I just figured everyone would try clicking the old man eventually lmfao.
The game is stable now if you want to try for the endings rather than just flinging around an old fart.. We'll be streaming game ratings in around 5 hours, I'll wait until you're around to play yours but after the masterpiece poppet was I can hardly contain my excitement
@rhoka Thanks for playing and for pointing out the exit door glitch, future updates will allow you to drag him up the ceiling hatches I just couldnt get the collisions consistent enough before it was due. A few people have said the thing about not knowing to drag him around I'll add that to the game description and eventually indicate it better in game, I just figured everyone would try clicking the old man lol. A couple of the endings don't have cutaway screens and just leave you with no further option which seemed like a fine enough alternative at the time but clearly in a point and click that isnt really reasonable lmao, we'll make it clearer in later updates. The lightroom is one of the endings. You definitely aren't dumb the puzzle isnt made obvious at all lmao. Your hint is [redacted]. Thanks so much for all the feedback, it's seriously appreciated!
@coda-highland Look in the bottom right corner lol it's just kinda tough to see, I'm guessing if you found the door code by chance you're running the bugged original jam version? I can't imagine you guessed the door code organically since that's a 1/46656 chance, I'm going to assume you reverse engineered a bug to find the endings which I consider not only super interesting but totally valid so good job lmao.
Fear of death is an unfortunate one to have but also very normal! Not everyone's fear is inevitable but in a sense I think that probably makes it easier to cast it from your mind, being that it's the one thing we all do. You've not existed for far longer than you've existed and you weren't panicked last time you didn't exist - so not only are you stressing an occasion you won't be around to experience, but also the very thing you're afraid of will relieve you of that stress. Consider the possibility that the unborn do fear life. We're both here and living, blissfully unaware of such fear and any worrying about us being born would have been wasted energy. We don't know that at the time of course, which is why I think your true fear is the uncertain circumstances of death - and once again that fear will one day be relieved by the root cause. My grandparents on my dad's side are nearing their time and have been hiding from the world holed up in a small house 2 hours away from anything since the beginning of covid. They have lived out what is sure to be their last years miserably. If you spend your whole life running from death you may very well forget to live. Now ask yourself which of those outcomes is truly scarier. Don't know why I felt compelled to type all that out but I hope it's helpful in some way.
https://www.youtube.com/live/kSaTrhFTAjQ?si=9TiDbcI2BrchmXlm&t=2670
I struggled greatly! Love the art and the physics are really well done. Overall this game is super well put together, seriously impressive.
Here's my first strategy from before I knew what was going on which did not work at all abyssfailure.JPG
Annnd here's the winner Abysstower.JPG
Fun game. Seemingly simple concept but as you go the situation unfolding in front of you becomes more and more convoluted and hilarious. The music is absolutely perfect, and the graphics remind me of an old flash game which is an aesthetic I love.
https://www.youtube.com/live/UsbxyfIYWuc?si=2-l0M6LM6fTFPPWV&t=6078
Cool game! The gameplay is unique, the camera navigation is smooth and the little miner bugs are super charming. I can't say I enjoyed every squeal these little fucks make, the one that plays when you direct them could certainly wear on a weaker soul, but the scream when they get crushed to bits by falling rubble is quite satisfying!
This game is overall very nice on the eyes. Everything works perfect. The shooting looks cool and the movement is super fluid. Impressive compo
Really impressive compo! I was going strong until I became stuck in an endless loop of multiple-personality disorder induced depression where my last man standing with one power left could only stand cowering, and that's not a compliment I can give to very many games! Had fun with this one.
https://www.youtube.com/live/UsbxyfIYWuc?si=7Kf6o8QO1nmFZjYl&t=10909
This game is fantastic! Love games where you can float around freely and that's what this one is all about. Counting up all the streams I've played it on I have played this game for a grand total of 1 hour and 13 minutes. It's fun flying the ship around and bonking the pussy-faced squids. Looking out at all the floating rocks is quite mesmerizing, this is one of the most visually appealing games I've played on stream this jam and I can say with confidence it ignites my sense of exploration like nearly none of these jam games have. I consider this a very FERTILE game, as I see so many ways this can be taken moving forward that it gets me excited to revisit this with each new update. So far each patch has improved the game tenfold, great work overall

Loved this game! I played this on stream for an hour and 37 minutes in one sitting. With some tweaks to the camera I feel like this could be a super satisfying experience. I love games where you fly and I love games where you go fast, so here I am giving all 5's to a game where you fly and go fast. It really is that simple. This game is ripe for expansion and I'll definitely be back for this one with a controller. Rename it to "Evil Cometh"! Thanks so much for submitting, perfect streaming game
https://www.youtube.com/live/kSaTrhFTAjQ?si=sc40lLqeQNVZaZ3w&t=7042
Love the art style! We had fun with this one, very charming game. Wish it was longer but of course I understand running out of time, I have each and every jam I've participated in lol. What's here is quite enjoyable, I enjoyed the gluttony level
https://www.youtube.com/live/wu_09x7tuLk?si=iZCrU6NtPPoWDDlU&t=12228
I dont know how I've played as many submarine games as I have without happening upon one that uses sonar, this is a super fun interpretation of the theme. The version I played was unstable but I still can for sure appreciate the echolocation mechanic, the music is fantastic and I pretty much unconditionally love the inclusion of voice lines in ld games. Really cool experience
Are you ok?
@danyclockworker I actually talked about it just before and while playing your game, yours is EASILY the closest game I've seen to the one we made so I feel like there's a good chance we're in similar states of mind
https://www.youtube.com/live/w-YTJVj3rns?si=aHwnZGAtrCsppPx2&t=3048
I didn't have a controller handy and I wasn't any good at it at all, but this is a fun game! The gameplay mechanics are unique while being simple enough that I feel dumb for being bad at it, which of course leads to me restarting it countless times. It's minimal but effective with what it presents. Great work!
Cool game, very relaxing. Love the music and the colors are very very nice on the eyes. Started my stream in a good mood because of this one, thanks for submitting!
https://www.youtube.com/live/kSaTrhFTAjQ?si=MoqNLGKuRCnk8tSM&t=147
Super original gameplay and likeable sprites, found myself really trying my best here and still falling short lol, this game is quite difficult or at least it was to me. That said I had a lot of fun trying to get further down. Jumps removing a layer from the floor is a really interesting mechanic and bowling over the crabs with boulders is very satisfying. I only got the iron boots one time but it really opened up some interesting maneuvers and I felt truly powerful. Really fun game
https://www.youtube.com/live/UsbxyfIYWuc?si=mruxLhNDrx1PmBLZ&t=4939
Far too much time was spent on a jump that I'm still not convinced is possible at all. I am not good at video games and this is a hard ass game. Very few games this jam have made me rage like this one did. Here is an hour and 40 minutes of me playing it

@ntmalichi Thank you and of course I allow it! I love views! Plus you'll be a known character right off the bat, there's some people in the chat that have been quite enjoying my feud with pogo dwarf. I should note I didn't realize at the time that your game was a compo so definitely you deserve more credit than I've been giving you lmfao I just struggle greatly with your game. If you're tweaking it I suggest the ability to compress the pogo with a button other than left mouse button, as I feel there's really no reason for the mouse to be involved if it's being used like a keyboard button press anyway and I think I'd be better at your game if it were like spacebar or something. Also I forgot to mention that the name Pogo Dwarf is fantastic, easily the most memorable game title in this entire jam. Sounds like a pokemon lmao
Cool game. It's a weird compliment but I love that the shooting happens automatically. I didn't use block or dash a single time but I had fun lol, any game where you can strike rats with lightning is a winner in my book. It's simple but effective

Cool game! I'm not very good at it but I had a good time. Everything works well and I wasn't confused at any point, which is more than I can say for most strategy games lol. The sprites are charming and everything plays smoothly, overall really impressive compo!
This is a really cool game ripe for expansion. The gameplay is deceptively simple while also presenting a serious challenge and making you consider every move you're going to make before you set your glowing ball in motion. I don't normally like puzzle games but this one is for sure a hit. The graphics are nice on the eyes and the voice acting is hilarious, even if that might not have been the intention. I didn't beat it on stream since I was already nearing the end but this still held me up for around 35 minutes. Making something addictive, fun, minimal, puzzling and difficult all at once is a tall order but this game knocks it out of the park. I'll be returning to this I'm sure. Seriously awesome submission

Lots of fun! Really liked this one. The minecart not only looks cool, but also adds my favorite section to the beat. The music is great and doesn't get old one bit, and the gameplay is simple and fun while running surprisingly well for how much is going on on screen. I accidentally purchased lights I'd already bought a few times which shouldn't probably be able to happen along with getting stuck in the wall when buying things but I'm sure you already know about those issues and none of them took away from the experience one bit. Overall I had a great time
This game is hilarious. It's borderline a prank. The mountain is so fucking huge that past a certain point I couldn't bring myself to speed up, but I simply had to see the end. Thus, here's a 40 minute video of us playing your game. It would have been irresponsible to go any faster.

@martenj Lol don't be so hard on yourself we were harsh sure but we were clearly still entertained by the experience. It's still easily one of the more memorable games I've played this jam, I certainly haven't played anything like it
I started this game in a bad mood so my comments towards the beginning are fairly negative, but if you look ahead in the VOD you'll see I played this game for an hour and 46 minutes, which is easily longer than I've played any game in one sitting this jam. I wasn't able to beat it but the freeform digging ignites my sense of exploration like no other game has this jam. PLEASE keep working on this and add more structures to be found, more materials to dig through and collect, and more tools to dig with in the future. This game has me more excited about the possibility of expansion than 90% of games I've played thus far, there is some serious serious potential here and I was glued to the game for every second. I've played a lot of games where you dig in a cave. None of them are as cool as this one. Fantastic work. Change the name though lol

This game is really good, I always love the grainy 3d style! Although I really like the way the graphics look I will say that youtube playback glitches and distorts when static is on screen (See: any FNAF video just after they die), it's been a problem for years that they've never fixed and your game seemingly has the same effect. SO if you want videos to be made of your game adding color or maybe even increasing the pixel size would probably fix the issue, if that isn't a priority to you though just leave it as-is, like I said I do like how it looks now. The gameplay is very stress inducing and I wasn't able to get very far at all, but this is easily my favorite interpretation of a submarine game I've seen thus far - which is saying a lot, there are countless submarine games this time around lol. Overall it's very polished and considering your game last jam I'm consistently impressed with what you guys are able to pull off in 72 short hours. Good shit
Interesting idea! There's something to be said for the fact that I've played a bunch of submarine games already this jam and none of them have played like this one. The art is charming and the gameplay is chill and stress-free.
Love how this game looks and plays! I have a soft spot for Doom style games and the sparse ammo makes for tension despite the miner zombies not being overly threatening so far as appearance goes. That said, I still found myself jumping out of my skin on several occasions when I would find them just around a corner where I wasn't expecting them to be. Very well put together in general, but for a COMPO GAME, this is a truly impressive feat. Awesome game, great work, I had a lot of fun playing.

Lots of cool elements, love the vibe and it was fun seeing all the different enemies you could summon. The card selection obviously leaves something to be desired but I know you know that, and I'd rather focus on how everything works perfectly and runs smoothly. You've got a really nice base for a game here and I'm excited to see where you take it moving forward.
Cool game! Great music and theme use, I wish the camera followed the player but aside from that I had a lot of fun here, it was certainly perfect for the 4/20 stream. It seemed like some obstacles were totally unavoidable but maybe I'm just terrible! I did manage to get an S though so that makes up for all my floundering. It's a lot of fun hearing the pseudo-randomly cobbled together psychedelic realizations after each fatal faceplant. Thanks for stopping by the stream!

I was manhandled by the Avatar of the Neverender
Just more proof I suck at video games
Simple but effective, the movement works flawlessly I just wasn't any good at it. I played your game for 41 minutes in total and beat it once. It isn't the most embarrassing performance I've had in a game this jam believe it or not but it's gotta be up there. Scorechasing games seem to have me in a strangle hold this jam despite me being really awful at them in general. Here's a link to both times I played.

Cool idea, never would've thought to use Ludum Dare like a writing prompt. It's well written and there are actually seemingly quite a few branching paths, I found 3 endings myself. I like the one where I block the hole in my spaceship with my body
@jag I could never forget Mr. Evil Cometh himself.. and lmao 3 hours huh, sounds about right. Thanks for giving it a shot even though it was a bit broken when you played it, I figured voting with mouse would be fine since you pet crat to calm him down but I added choosing upgrades with Q and E in the bugfix so that the mouse thing wouldn't be an issue. There is an upgrade that heals but that is the only way as of right now lol. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and I hope you can catch one of the streams so I can play your game for what I'm sure will be less than 3 hours this time lol (or if you want me to play it without you there that's fine too. I just like it when the devs are present)

Enjoyed this a lot! Really fun style and lots to do and find. It was a bit unclear where I could go and where I was meant to go but I was really impressed with how much was here. I think I got stuck at the end but maybe I just didn't find something I was meant to find, either way this was a quality experience and definitely one of the most memorable games I've played so far this jam

As terrible as I was at your game I'm very impressed with the concept and it feels like everything functions (pun intended) smoothly and properly. While I wasn't happy about the theme "Signal" when it was announced this game manages to interpret the theme very literally into an experience where it still feels like a game and not a chore, which can't be said for all the mathematical signal-based puzzles I've been playing lol. Figuring out what I was supposed to do was properly rewarding, and the difficulty curve feels natural and gradual in a way where I don't feel overwhelmed by each new target output. The oscilloscope was a genius addition, ensuring that you can never be totally lost in the wire spaghetti. I feel like this could be a useful tool for teachers as I found myself seriously wanting to figure out how each puzzle was done. Great work
