I've come back to play this more twice now, such a creative set of mechanics! Love the aesthetic and vibes and controls and just everything, great game.
This game is so atmospheric and creates such a wonderful, tense, fun mood. Really enjoyed the way the challenge ramped alongside my growing skill so it never felt too easy or too hard. Loved the art, sounds, everything. Great game!

Probably my new favorite game to play with friends as soon as you release a full version! Just amazing in literally every way, I cannot express enough how much I enjoyed playing this game. Your team absolutely killed it!

The movement felt kinda stiff, which was unfortunate because hitting a slide into a double jump through a tight spot was such a great feeling! Very cool game.
It looks Sooo good from the cover pic, hope we can play soon!
Super fun, unique little platformer! Love the style and the controls felt great once learned. Awesome game!

This was awesome, it felt almost as good as my fav gliding game superflight. great job!
So, uh, awesome game, but... kinda feels weird that you can just permanently disable every enemy with slime. In my entire run I only got attacked by the first enemy, then I got slime and just steamrolled the rest of the game. I basically skipped adding more items after I got a few decent ones, clicked skip on the events because they choices always seemed bad, and all the fights were just click on three random dice over and over until the enemy dies without being able to do anything.
I don't know, maybe I got a "lucky" run? But for a game with so much visual, audio, UI, lore, etc polish, it feels strange that the actual gameplay is just... get slime and win. I literally never lost any health, never had to take an event, and didn't take any items after the first three or four. I just kept grabbing mutations and basically speedrunning. Not because I was trying to speedrun, but because once I got slime it was already over for every enemy.
This is such a cool dicebuilder with so much going for it, I want to love it and I think I do, but I don't want to play it, which feels so strange, but yeah, slime just seems broken.
Cute little game! I ended up playing a while more after my stream, but didn't end up getting a better score lol. I had to raise my rating quite a bit because I had too much fun trying to get a better score. Lovely little jam game! Hope to see more games with your wonderful art in the future @texugo :)

Awesome little game! You seem to have a really great understanding of game feel, it is very impressive! I hope to someday see a polished version of this on the app store.

Very sick game, felt super good to play and I love how you're cultivating a leaderboard!

Very challenging, very unique, very cool, good job!

This game had so much personality, aesthetic, and charm. Wildly impressive!
This sounds so cool, wish there was a web or linux build!
Yeah, this game did a great job of making me panic lol. Cute!
Super fun, didn't want to stop playing!

It's incredible this was made in such a short time! This feels like it should have taken weeks to make. The rhythm game was very smooth and fun, the music was great, the art was great, the story was engaging and emotional, it was all just so impressive and just wow. Great game!
This was cool, the gunfights felt very chaotic and unstructured, like a real battle with guerilla tactics would, and it was fun to get the hang of. Nice art, nice sound, nice AI, awesome stuff!

Wish There was a linux or web build! Looks cool!
Cute!
A game that is super fun to improve at, charming, and feels super thoughtfully made, I love it.

So obviously you ran out of time, I won't say much about that. But you did a couple pretty good things. The variable jump height feels solid, the first boss has varied attacks (tho you can just stand next to him and spam click to cheese it), and the sound is solid. I think if the movement was faster and you'd had time to finish, this would have been a really nice little action platformer.
This was cute and surprisingly funny! I enjoyed walking around as a sassy looking mouse, it felt great stealing cheese from the traps, and the art for the cat that kills you made me absolutely crack up.

This was a wonderful little game, I really enjoyed the sound effects and graphics. The gameplay was a bit repetitive, but still quite fun! Once I figured it out I really enjoyed it, so maybe explaining the gameplay loop a bit better would lower the friction. Really great game feel, overall nearly a five star jam game! Great job!
I could have spent three times as long in this wonderful little adventure. The mood was fantastic, the mechanics were just punishing enough to keep me engaged while being free enough that I could explore at my own pace. I love the art, the whistles, the absolutely intended lore that I totally didn't make up, it was such a great jam game.

hilarious
This was sooo nostalgic, I love games like this. Your old flash style art, quirky take on the theme, and unusual mechanics made it great to play, and it was fun to "grind" out an S (shoulda has us grind the green first lol).

Love this so much, wish there was hours more!

This is a great take on this kind of game! Doesn't really feel like a jam game, feels very complete and fun! Had a blast playing it, great job.

This was such a polished experience, I am glad I got the chance to play it.
I haven't even played yet (am about to) but just needed to say that "Deliver the devil a pizza" is such a great hook, well done.
Okay this is great. Love the unfair feeling that really fits the Hell vibes. Love the audio, the creative mechanics, and the "story". The road obstacles could be a bit more visually distinct from the flying ones, as some folks like myself have difficulty with visual sorting, but otherwise very frictionless, fun gameplay!
Great idea for an arena shooter! Love the style too.

THIS WAS SO GREAT. Seriously, such a unique little game, bursting with challenge and personality and fun. I love how you interpreted the theme, I loved the characters, I loved the sounds, I loved the gameplay, I just loved it all. 11/10.

Didn't manage to finish it, but it was awesome!
I adore this so much. I have been wishing it was available on mobile with gyro to steer and float/dive on left and right thumbs. Idk if it would work well, but it is such a perfect game to have in your pocket. Loving it on my steam deck, it plays great with controller. All around five stars, my only "nitpick" is I wish there was fast restarts because I'm playing it so much! Awesome idea, awesome execution, awesome game, go you.
P.S. pls either release on linux with fast restart or post the source so I can play it so much more :p
Love this game, great job on it, glad you stopped by the stream!

This is SICK! I loved feeling so overwhelmed the first time I saw the leviathan, super impressive what you managed to do with this in a game jam.
Awesome idea, I'm sad I had some technical difficulties, but I still loved the way this game absolutely dripped with personality, it was gorgeous and such a cool experience.
This was impressively well polished. I hope someday to make a game that feels this complete during a jam. The balance of satisfying levels with uncomfortable ones was really well done, creating a good ebb and flow that kept my interest all the way through two runs. Art and sound were great, controls were a bit awkward but that seems to have been the point. Five stars across the board!
810!
got 1150. Game is pretty fun, a bit more info in the tutorial would have probably helped improve the experience.
Unfortunately, running the linux build, I just get a black screen after the unity splash :(
Hello panic! I am not built for these games, but damn it was gorgeous and felt very thoughtfully crafted.
Couldn't figure out what to do and the game ran so poorly I had to give up. Cool graphics tho.
Ghosts spawned on top of me a couple times, and often spawned right in front of me, made it almost impossible to dodge in those cases.
Was a tiny bit sad nothing happened after the eye popped up, but it was fun!
I had the same experience as notnasiul and others, seems maybe there's a bug?
Mouse sensitivity and crashes stopped me from finishing, but the atmosphere and graphics and mood of the game were great! felt quite immersed when it worked.
The combat felt super janky and unfair. I think even just letting the player control their own fall/flight would have done so much for the experience.
Love Idle games, love that you made one for a jam, it is super fun!
Hey, I played your game on my stream, here is a timestamp for the video on YouTube: `https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uvsTk0plS4&t=0s`
I'm sure I'm just bad at the game, but constantly getting stuck on the walls was very frustrating. I am not sure whether that is a bad thing yet, I'll have to think about it. Cool idea though!
someone @me if they upload a linux or web build pls
Such a fun, cute, creative game!
Fun jam game with a pretty unique concept and nice art!

@farzher My best time was 27.97, so probably! Very impressive! Thanks for playing :)
@kielant It is a speed running game with a pretty short (~30 second) length, so I'm not sure I think checkpoints would make much sense.
@team-9tailed Absolutely, I had sound and music, as well as more art and a tutorial and more levels on my todo list, but I was just doing too many things I'd never done before and ran out of time. Just writing the simple shader to add post processing took me like six hours. Wish I could have gotten sound in before the deadline, you are super right.
@ryusohyeong Thanks! I have definitely learned my lesson about not leaving sounds till last in game jams, this is the second time I have run out of time before being able to add them.
New record by my best friend is 26.58 Seconds! Please leave a comment letting me know if you beat it :)
@farzher wild!
@jddoesdev it is immensely gratifying to hear you couldn't stop playing! I ended up spending too much time refining my character controller and didn't have time for everything else (art, tutorial, sound, etc). Good to know doublejump wasn't clear enough.
The blue boxes are low gravity.
@koolruz the wall to the left doesn't go up all the way, the path continues there. Thanks for playing! The vignette is for sure a bit too big.
Absolutely charming game, it had a great amount of challenge and I had a blast playing it. Love your style and take on the theme, love that you made nice big bullets, loved the old school double/triple shot upgrades, all very great.

There seems to be a bug where if the player clicks while in the air, they start digging before hitting the ground and get a negative score.
