Awesome art style and music, especially given the short time frame. The mini-games were also fun. I did unfortunately run into a bug where the game was stuck on a black screen after I lost and tried to go back to sleep, but I was able to just close and open the game again.

tetracold 2025-04-08 05:49

@arkansaslover thanks for playing, I'm happy you liked the art!! I recommend trying hotfix as it fixes that bug and it allows the game to be played on a loop

mashak 2025-04-08 06:17

чудесный стиль и звуковое сопровождение, мини игры очень крутые и смешные, правда не во всех еще разобралась

paragonraptors 2025-04-08 07:18

Great game! Impressively fleshed out for a weekend. All the games played well and the art and sound really tied it together.

yoav-kagan 2025-04-08 10:23

What a fun little game! The art style is spot on! The handshake mini game was hilarious!

catusfelony 2025-04-08 17:02

I love the variety! All the microgames look lovely and the artwork is good AND hilarious... That said I found a lot of the microgames a little frustrating and unfair.

The first time I got the typewriter microgame I had to type a 5-letter word, 'death', but despite going as fast as I could, there was only enough time for 'dea', that's fine, maybe just a skill issue on my part, but EVERY other time it showed up after that, it had only asked for a three letter word.

With the sandwich stacking microgame, two of the ingredients spawned at the opposite ends of the screen, so the only way I could get to the latter was to moving quickly all the way from the former which would inevitably topple the stack, it was unwinnable then.

The statue of liberty boss fight seems to show up at random, just like any of the microgames, which caught me off-guard. In one of my attempts, it was the very second game to show up, and the truth is that it takes too long.

In fact, I don't know if I just didn't get far enough (my high score was only 22) but the microgames feel slow, though simultaneously, some of them feel like not enough time is given. I could not figure out the key microgame at all, for example, it took it showing up a couple times for me to figure out that a) the correct key is the one that appears in the bubble and b) it's the key handle, not the key tip i should be paying attention to, but then the next time it showed up.... the key wasn't there? the lock asked for a circle key and there was none.

I like seeing more WarioWare-likes either way, this could use some polish and balancing post-jam. Great work getting all this content out in the 72 hour window :)

As I said before, I only got to 22 points, so I'm not sure if there is an end-game or if it is endless. I wonder if our monkey friend figured out what they want to do for Dudum Lare.

tetracold 2025-04-08 17:33

@catusfelony thanks for the feedback! I am happy you enjoyed it!

looks like you encountered one of the nightmare version of the typing minigame lol. There is an easy version of the minigame where you need to only type 3 letter words. We planned mechanic where the game will give you hard nightmare versions of the dreams based on how well you are currently performing but we couldn't finish it in time so we just made it so there's a random chance of encountering it. there's a few more nightmare minigames you can find if you keep playing

For the key minigame you have to drag at the top of the screen to spin around the keys, then use correct shaped key by grabbing it putting it in the key's mouth. I had a bit of a problem with finding a way to communicate that one clearly, we will most likely change entirely how that one works.

We wanted to fix the stack one but we realized way too late that sometimes it spawns the ingredients too far apart.

Not sure what's up with the statue of liberty one, I guess sometimes it does that even tho when testing it always showed up the last 10th. its longer because it's supposed to be a boss fight, so it would make more sense pacing wise if you got it at the very end. But it's fine I don't mind as longa s people get to play it

but as long as people get to try it I don't mind that much

The game is endless, the nightmare minigames were the ones to scale up the difficulty as you went

The pacing issue and others will be fixed in the post jam

robobarbie 2025-04-09 02:59

had a lot of fun with all the different minigames!!!! got me shouting "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" every time i got hit with "devil" for the typing one LOL

pres2300 2025-04-09 05:07

Wow, way to essentially make a bunch of games for a game jam! I never thought I'd see a warioware like game in a jam, but here it is! This was a lot of fun and I appreciate the creativity. Nice job!

yibirabbit007 2025-04-09 05:08

I love your work, it's a pleasure! But the pace is a bit fast, and sometimes I don't even know what to do

jake-g 2025-04-09 05:11

Omg wow, such a cute art style, and the initial branding screen panning to the LD 57 easter egg. The mini games are difficult the first time through, but it makes you want to go back and perfect them. Also I liked your use of sound effects, it really adds to the character of the game.

ammonit 2025-04-09 05:19

The visual style is a blast! Quick screen changes, and each time it’s a new game))) You don’t always figure out what to do in time and feel a bit silly - but that’s the fun of it! I loved it!!!

adamwigs 2025-04-09 05:25

Blown away at the number of mini games you put together in a weekend and loved the art style!

retonymy 2025-04-09 05:25

good stuff!!! i think i ran into one case in the "trim" minigame where i seemed to fail to trim a plant but still won the game -- not sure if that's the normal rules or a bug but i took it and ran!

the music, art and SFX are all on point and it's all impressively polished. love the 'nightmare' aesthetic vs the dream aesthetic. Also that meta intro made me chuckle and the overall presentation was really funny. (This might be the only time i have ever given an LD game full points for humor tbh, lol)

teist 2025-04-09 05:33

Its so good but so challenging! Congrats! I cant play cause my mouse is sh/t but I know I would have the best score

yanzhi 2025-04-09 05:53

lOVELOVE the microgames, so funny, they caught me off guard so many times. The art style and direction for each game *chefs kiss* props to the coding and art team!!! laughed so much

qhboiboi 2025-04-09 06:26

THE ART STYLE IS INCREDIBLY CUTE AND GOOFY i love it. the games were also really silly and fun to play, although the responsiveness of the mouse is a little hard to get used to at times, since it fluctuates so much. still an amazing game i will definitely recommend to friends

joscco 2025-04-09 06:32

ARRRGH *squeaks in childish glee*, it's so weird and goofy, I love it! Great gameplay, very catchy and super-appealing in-minigame-graphics (also very polished for the amount of time you had, that sure was a lot of work to put it all together). You made an awesome jam entry, congrats!

For the teeth-fixing game maybe a tiny bit more time would be nice :D

python-b5 2025-04-09 06:52

This was great! Neat to see another minigame-focused game, though yours are a bit more in-depth than those in my game. I loved the hand-drawn intro. Some of the microgames I liked, and others I found a bit frustrating (the boss fight is quite long, especially since it can show up more than once, and shaking hands was unintuitive for me at first). The art style of the minigames is a bit inconsistent, but I suppose it makes the game as a whole feel more eclectic. Overall I quite enjoyed this - somewhat addicting!

By the way, the music for the boss fight cut out almost immediately, leaving me to play the boss in silence. Not sure if that's just an issue with the web version, or my machine, or something else.

braktheman 2025-04-09 15:59

I'm a simple man I see a Wario-ware inspired game I click it.

Great art style and concept. It just has that surreal dream feel that makes it all come together.

Some level time windows could use minor tweaks, but it supposed to feel frenetic so I get it!

Great job! Keep making cool stuff like this!

tetracold 2025-04-10 06:15

@retonymy yea we noticed one of the trim minigame leaves is broken and we will fix it in a future post jam update.

I am really glad you enjoyed the dream vs nightmare aesthetic we had a lot of fun coming up with ideas for that, we really wanted to take it into a ironic "creepypasta / .exe" direction because we thought it would be hilarious to but we didn't have enough time to do all the jokes we wanted to.

Also thanks for likining my stupid Ludum Dare joke lol

tetracold 2025-04-10 06:37

@python-b5 thanks for the feedback! the bossfight shows up multiple times because the game is score based and keeps cycling though the minigames including the bossfight itself.

some of the minigames ended up being a little less optimized or well explained than others, it's something we will work on in a future update. the artstyle variation/inconsistency is a deliberate choice on my part, I wanted each minigame to feel different because I thought it would be more charming and also closer to how WarioWare does it. It was also an excuse for me to practice some different styles

tetracold 2025-04-10 06:40

@Yanzhi thanks for liking the art!!

tetracold 2025-04-10 06:46

@Joscco ty!! Glad you enjoyed it, also thanks for liking the art direction!it's awesome to see that it's clicking with people

it definitely as a lot of work and a lot of it didn't even make it into the game, but we will definitely release an update with more content

also thanks for the feedback!

cluster7ck 2025-04-10 18:15

Super sick artstyle and I love these kind of games a lot. You made a great addition to the genre. Some of them are a little to fast for me ;_; Still enjoyed it a lot (and after the 5th restart you start to get it ;D)

vary 2025-04-11 00:18

oh man this is incredibly well done. There's so much variety in the minigames and the art styles, I'm really digging all the different aesthetics. For some reason I'm having a lot of trouble with the key one, it seems to want a half-moon shape but I haven't seen one as an option. And then for the Statue of Liberty one, the music would get cut off every time I came across it (web version). Otherwise, awesome work! I really like the nightmare versions, they're a fun little surprise, and I think my favorite one is the handshake lmao something about the audio and the zoomed in visuals captures social anxiety really well. Nicely done!

keeta 2025-04-11 01:06

Awesome game. The amount and variety of music and art is really impressive. The embed version kept sticking my mouse to the corner of the viewport, so I had to use the download version (could just be my browser though). I loved the idea of there being harder "nightmare" versions of the microgames. Not sure if they can only appear once per run, or if they are just really rare but I had a run of ~50 and only saw one during that time. Could be cool to make them appear more often as you get further to add some extra challenge.

manatee-webster 2025-04-11 01:07

Really fun art style! Great variety in the games and the humor hits often as well! The music did cut out a few times for me on the web version, unfortunately. The handshake microgame was my favorite! Really good job!

kessel-nebula 2025-04-11 21:55

The game has so much content!! It was a bold move deciding make a mini games. Great job. The game is a little bit hard, but I could manage to kill the boss. I don´t know how to pass the broken website level.

guitarbro 2025-04-12 01:44

Ah, I see I've found some fellow WarioWare enjoyers here. Lots of creativity with the microgames, really nice that you managed to get so many in time for the jam. The graphics have lots of charm and I appreciate the variety of audio tracks, though it feels like it's a bit awkwardly quiet for the bits that don't have music. My only major complaint is that it felt like there was some mouse smoothing going on which made it a little hard to do some of the microgames that required quick mouse moves, but it's not the end of the world. Overall, a pretty enjoyable time though!

miku 2025-04-12 07:23

I don't usually play WarioWare, and I found myself keeping going in this game! Finally managed to get a score of 39 (I set a stop limit there).

The art style is phenomenal and the amount of activities that you can do and get into a rhythm with is really varied and fun. With a lot more time and a lot more polish, I can definitely see this being a full title! Thank you for creating this game! I might find myself back on this page a few times - I kept wanting to play and get a better score!

The hardest minigame for me was the key one. For some reason it's hard for me to parse and a few times it felt too fast, even though the same time was given for the minigames.

cure 2025-04-12 09:04

Awesome idea, I'm sad I had some technical difficulties, but I still loved the way this game absolutely dripped with personality, it was gorgeous and such a cool experience.

athospap 2025-04-12 12:25

Utterly amazed at what you managed to do! Well done

nomus 2025-04-12 22:22

This was sooo good ! Loved that little take on wario ware, the idea makes it work well with the theme ! I enjoyed that one a lot, so many cool references.

fupi 2025-04-12 22:49

This game's presentation is absolutely gorgeous, I love all the different art styles and ideas for microgames, unfortunately I was having some issues with the controls that made it kinda frustrating. I don't know how to explain it but it feels like the custom in-game mouse doesn't follow my inputs in the way I expect, it's more noticeable if I wiggle my mouse, instead of it wiggling in place like normal, it slides around everywhere, as if there's some sort of acceleration. The mouse sensitivity is also wildly different in every minigame, it feels too fast in the key minigame, too slow on the statue of liberty boss, and on the sandwich one you move very slowly but accelerate too fast. I tried a bunch of times but it's hard to get a grip of the controls this way :< If only the game followed my actual mouse's movements I feel like this could have been perfect!

tetracold 2025-04-12 22:54

@fupi

I only noticed that's an issue once I send it around to streamers to play, for some it worked perfectly, including me and the team, but for others it gave them a lot of trouble and it also made the mouse glitch out in some really bad cases

I'll bring it up with the programmer to see what we could do about it, maybe it's something we can get fixed in the post jam, I'm sorry you had to deal with that, its not something I predicted could happen.

have you tried the windows build on itch? maybe that helps

fupi 2025-04-12 23:36

@tetracold I tried the Windows build now, but unfortunately had the same issues... It seems that in the intro cutscene the mouse works like normal, but as soon as the game starts it gets weird. I'm sorry for the stream thing, sounds like it'd be very frustrating ;w; aside from the controls I did like everything that I saw!

coleslaughter 2025-04-13 01:08

[Thanks for submitting your game to stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2430455310?t=04h22m33s)

I have a soft spot for Wario-Ware-esque games, so this was right up my alley. Y'all nailed it, even in the "multiple different art styles" department.

Thanks for putting up with our teasing on stream as well, Tetracold

mao 2025-04-13 02:17

Really cool! I do wish there was a bit more of a difficulty curve for the microgames, but I know that's a tall order on a jam schedule. Some of the microgames did feel a little rough, particularly the Statue of Liberty game having weirdly low mouse sensitivity (playing on the web version on Chrome), but again I know it's basically impossible to address all of that during a jam. I thought the nightmares were a really cool twist on the formula, it would be cool to see more of them if you decide to develop this further in the future.

My highscore is 101 points!

borabee 2025-04-13 13:17

A very cool game all around, from the pun in the name to the very original and expressive artstyle, to all the differente minigame designs. The art is what caught my eye at first but I loved finding and beating the different minigames. Although most of them were pretty difficult at first, since they are so quick, it was easy to jut keep playing again and again until I got pretty good hehe

batthecat 2025-04-15 18:30

As a fan of Wario games on the DS and Wii, I can say that you did an excellent job... extremely fun game, mouse gameplay very well applied to the theme... extremely fun... the arts are also an excellent positive point, I loved the chalk-like illustration style... a 5 star game

hexstart 2025-04-19 21:18

I really enjoyed the challenge, the variety, and I also found the abrupt cuts after each game pretty funny ^^ minigames.png

garywiss 2025-04-25 14:03

Awesome art, love the concept ! Good job !

ava-skoog 2025-04-25 18:42

Really impressive! So many levels, so much in terms of graphics and sound, with all those cutscenes and variations, wow. The depth is definitely in the game itself if nothing else, but I get the dream thing too which is clever and sets it apart from actual WarioWare games.

I will say tho that the sound design and graphical humour felt a little bit *too* much like WarioWare; it would've been nice to see something more different.

But WarioWare is a lot of fun and so is this! Besides the many minigames themselves it was neat to see all those little details that I sometimes had to play the same minigame many times to have time to fully take in. The articles on the website I had to refresh, the news about the typewriter monkey, etc.

I did struggle a bit to find the right mouse sensitivity for this. It felt like even when I turned it way down on the computer, certain minigames sped it back up more than others. Might just be weirdness on my machine. I played the download. But games like this probably work best with a touch screen or a motion controller like some of the original WarioWare ones. Or it's just my skill issue, very possible 😎

But yeah, very polished, in awe of how much you were able to do in such a short time. Had fun!
