This is so well done! My only crit is I had a little trouble finding a way to quit after I was done playing. An exit button on the death screen would be great! But other than that I loved this, the tiny details are great, especially the sound fxs and the kickback of the gun. Makes everything you do seem so powerful!
It's simple, but cute! This is nitpicky, but it would be nice if there was a card for the controls in the game. It controlled a little weird in browser too, hard to double jump and I could never seem to throw boxes in front of me, only behind...BUT I still had fun playing! And I loved the graphics a lot!
Artistically well executed! I love the idea of a cookie clicker, and the personal space interpretation is neat! I wasn't sure how the mechanics game worked though, I seemed to just run out of personal space randomly, and couldn't figure out how to affect that, other than it had something to do with the window. But the mood, art, and messages were so well done, I didn't mind too much, it was just a bummer I couldn't figure out how to play for much longer than 30 seconds or so!
Well done! Would have liked the interact button to be something easier to reach with my left hand, like the space bar, so i could keep my right hand on the mouse while trying to find a place to dump the bodies, but the idea, design, and overall execution (haha) is great!
I love this concept/idea, and I especially love how well done the animation for shooting the books is. Was having a little bit of trouble getting the books onto the shelves though, went at it from just about every angle but whether they ended up on the shelf or not seemed to be at random. Otherwise, it's a fun little game!
This is excellent! Loved playing through this, the way it played and the art was great!
Love the concept, and the initial twist was fun. I think I got caught in a loop after the second part of the first stage started, unless I'm just missing a puzzle, but I enjoyed what I played!
This is excellent! II liked that this had an element of clearing out and rebuilding, really set it apart from other clickers I've played. Also the art, music, and sfx were solid!
Nice concept! Loved the art and the mechanics were pretty neat.
Love the art and the whole gameboy aesthetic. Loved the idea as well!
Pretty challenging, but fun and well executed. Great job!
Cool concept! Really liked the pickpocketing gameplay, challenging but fun!
Enjoyed the cards mechanic! I got unlucky fairly often but it was fun while it lasted!
Great job! I wish I had a little bit more time to sign the contract for upgrades, but had fun playing otherwise!
I like that the difficulty goes up while you're making it easier to get your score up faster. Neat way to balance the game. The art is nice too! Great job!
Really stellar little game. If the flashing didn't start hurting my eyes after a while I could sit there and put coins in for hours.
This was absolutely phenomenal! Extremely impressive end-product for such a short amount of time. I love that the gameplay was so simple, yet I felt complicit in everything as a player. I ran into some issues trying to get it to play right in full screen on my laptop, but definitely going to bookmark this to play on my desktop later. Fantastic job!
Extremely well done! It was fun trying to be as outrageous as possible with the drawings and then seeing it all play out. This team should be proud!
This was so delightful! Love the designs of all the frogs so much!
I loved this! So clever and personal. The only way I could think to improve it would be to add a little ambiance music, but otherwise, fantastic!
Loved this! Simple, but implemented the theme well. Really liked the pixel art!
There's a lot of cool concepts happening here! I like the turn-based/clicker/tactical map format, though I wish I felt a little more involved as a player and level progression was a little smoother and clearer. With more development though, I could see myself really getting into something like this!
This was so much fun! Very clever use of the theme, loved flipping the cards for the gameplay and excellent use of color for the artwork.
Very lovely. The gameplay feels great. I actually would love a smaller map with a couple more things to do. It would add to the relaxing mood just being able to tend to a little garden! But what you have here is very special!
This is a gorgeous, fun game! It took a while to get a handle on what was expected with each level, but I think that was okay because it was very easy to just play again. I'm sure others will compare it to Cooking Mama, etc, but it gave me major old-school online flash games vibes with its high replay value. The sound effects definitely helped on that front. I got a little frustrated with the chocolate part. The really fast speed feels way too fast, so it's sometimes a bummer when you had a row of perfect churros and then got unlucky at the end. I think the random aspect of the speeds adds a nice challenge though, so while it feels a little unbalanced, overall I like it. Great work!
This was so well done! I think it would be nice if the abilities were a bit cheaper so one could see more of the game in a shorter amount of time, but it was definitely fun enough for me to play for quite a bit!
I don't usually go for these kinds of game experiences, but I ended up making quite a few attempts. Being able to use a controller was particularly nice. I feel like I got a handle on the swimming itself rather quickly, but most of my frustration came from fighting the buoyancy of the player character. Don't know if that's a criticism, it's possible the mechanics could use some balancing, but it could also just be my own skill. (was never good at QWOP lol)
The music was very relaxing, and definitely kept me around to keep trying longer. The sfx are nice as well. I also liked the bubble particles that showed up whenever you completed a stroke successfully. Not only was it a nice touch, but it was a useful hint to show you've executed the move properly. It would be cool if the PC had some more character to it, like a diving or swim suit. I think some texturing, color, and size variation on the background elements would be nice too. However, that's pretty nitpicky, it looks good enough to service the game and that's perfectly fine!
This is such a cute game! The art/music/sfx are great. While the gameplay is very simple, I feel like you could make some really challenging puzzles with the limited movement, so I think it's a pretty good proof of concept!
I love point and clicks, so this was awesome! I liked the coffee/vial puzzle in particular. I thought it was very clever. The graphics and music are nice as well!
I like the concept and also thought the atmosphere/mood was well conveyed. I would love to see this with a slightly faster scrolling speed and more varied platforms. You definitely have the start of something quite fun.
Loved the puzzles here. They weren't too difficult, but still very satisfying to figure out, which is pushed even further by a wonderfully simple mechanic. SFX for the pups would really take it to the next level, but that's nitpicky. Definitely a favorite for me.
So cute and wonderfully implemented use of the theme. The art and sfx were great as well! I liked how some objects had different properties to make you think about how you organized everything. Great job!
Interesting concept! Despite the simplistic graphics, I was intrigued enough to play a couple rounds. Nice spin on the theme!
Nice work! The graphics really work, and the limited color palette and music/sfx set the mood well. The gameplay is deceptively challenging!
Loved the art and audio here! The retro vibe was implemented really well. I could see this being expanded upon with more levels and mini-goals. Great work!
This was so cute! Loved the combination of minesweeper and tower defense, very clever! The art and music was lovely too. Excellent work!
Fun little game! I enjoyed the UI and graphics!
Love the innovation here, the gameplay and the aesthetic work together perfectly. I think if the obstacles were a bit bigger or the lighting was brighter so you could see them coming, it would take it to the next level. (More opportunities to consider strategy too, do you jump or swerve?) As is, I was having a bit of trouble figuring out why I was taking damage until my second try. Great work though and this is totally something that could be extensively expanded upon for a full length game, really impressive for 72 hours!
Loved the execution of this! Very in line with the theme and fun to play.
Oh this was excellent. Very polished and lots of fun! I don't think I was particularly good at it, but I had a great time. The only note I can think of is the control scheme would be a bit less awkward if tiptoe and quick order were mapped to keys on the right side of the keyboard. However that's minor when considering the great execution of the concept and theme.
I like how the lack of thrust made the game a bit more challenging! I think some debuffs really leaning into the unstable aspect of the theme would have been fun, but sometimes making something polished and functional works out better than trying to shoehorn yourself into the theme. Good work!
The sound design really took this to the next level. The text was visceral and compelling. There's not a ton going on and yet I felt unsettled the entire time. (Tying the sailor to the mast was truly horrific and you didn't even get into the details, my brain was already primed to fill it in.) Really fantastic take on the eldritch horror genre.
This was so well done! Great gameplay, sfx, and art. Everything was very cohesive and worked great! I did run into a bug where I dropped the potion bottle and had to restart the game for it to come back, but I just made sure not to drop it after that. Some sort of "recipe" guide could be interesting for the more complex colors- it could even just be hints instead of telling the answer outright. However, that's being pretty nitpicky for a very well polished entry!
The writing in this was a lot of fun! It kind of gave me Disco Elysium vibes with the humor and tone.
Really impressive to do this all in Blender! The angle was a little tricky to get my head around, but it wasn't so bad once I started playing. The line very quickly got overwhelming but that felt like part of the challenge.
The polish on this is fantastic! The combination of the music and UI really elevates the simplicity. Also, I don't mind the slow intro. It sets the tone in a way that makes the game feel like it exists in its own world.
So cute and fun! The art is very well done. Great work!
Great work! Love the concept and I enjoyed the execution. Definitely would enjoy a larger game based around this idea.
Oh what an excellent take on the puzzle game genre! I could easily get lost in this for hours. Great work!
I like the concept! I found it a little challenging, but it was satisfying when I dug something up. :)
Great fun and I love how the gameplay, visuals, and audio all tie together. Excellent work!
Got stuck after accessing the first binned file, but I still really liked this! The atmosphere is excellent and the inclusion of the videos is seriously impressive.
This was so fun! Delightful little arcade-esque game.
Didn't expect this to be such a relaxing game. The only reason I didn't finish was because I just got unlucky with how much blue ore spawned (or maybe I just didn't mine far enough?) Still got rather close, and I liked that each ore felt a little different to mine by how easily they gave way to the mining laser. Great work!
What a great little game! I love jams that take a simple concept and execute it well. Nice job!
Great game! Impressively fleshed out for a weekend. All the games played well and the art and sound really tied it together.
Love the art! Love how gruesome things get too. Could definitely see myself playing a fully realized game like this. Great work!
Once you get the hang of this it's a blast. I got to the end and just wanted to keep going! Great little strategy puzzler. Definitely going to be one of my favorites. Awesome work!
I loved this! Delightfully earnest with a good sense of humor. The writing and the art really took it to the top. Great work!
Love the mood/overall feel of this game. Entering commands is satisfying, but being able to spell the commands you want feels left up to chance with the blocks you get, which can get discouraging at times. (It took 10 blocks to spell "open" the first time, but only 2 the second.) However, I thoroughly enjoyed the concept and the overall execution!
I've never been great at platformers, so I didn't get too far, but if I had the time I could see myself playing this for hours. It's delightfully challenging, fun, and the visuals are great. Would have liked to know pressing down gets you out of breakout mode earlier, but that's a small criticism of this seamless blend of two genres.
