Haha what a fun game! It was a bit too hard for me (because I'm on a trackpad not a mouse), but it looked really cool and it was really funny to move the hand and nod. So I still loved it โบ๏ธ

Haha what a fun game! It was a bit too hard for me (because I'm on a trackpad not a mouse), but it looked really cool and it was really funny to move the hand and nod. So I still loved it โบ๏ธ
Love the character and the cute looks :) I wish I would skate a bit faster though ๐
Looks really nice and the puzzles are fun! However the mechanics of building combined with the timer were a bit frustrating. Took me a long time on level 6 to figure out that you can only build streets on rails but not the other way around.
Otherwise I do think that you did a really good introduction into the game where the first level was very easy and you slowly progress into more difficult levels.
Very polished and beautiful game! Loved the little tunes and the humor of it as well. Playing the rhythm game itself was a bit confusing to me, I think more feedback for the player would defintely increase the fun of it.
Haha what a fun concept! Love the idea and seeing that pile of cards being distributed was very satisfying somehow. I have to admit that even on the easiest setting I still had issues against the CPU ๐
I kind of wish that after each hand the CPU would reveal right away so you don't have to wait until the end to see how you're doing.
Haha what a fun concept! Slashing and cooking, absolutely brilliant. Wish the first level started a bit easier with less enemies to deal with, but otherwise really impressive what you delivered!
Hey โบ๏ธ So far I had a bit of trouble with most platformers that I played here, but I think it was mostly because it's important to get the movement exactly right so that it feels nice. The movement here feels spot on! (Only the wall jumps feel like they should be a bit easier)
Also it obivously looks very nice and polished โบ๏ธ
I think it would be cool if instead of finding the exit there would be some lanterns that you would collect ๐ฆ
You already got a ton of feedback, so I'll just say I really liked it โบ๏ธ I want to give a special shout out to the rewind animation haha
Fun little tower defense game! Unfortunately on my computer I couldn't get it so that I see the whole game but I liked having to quickly decide between actions. The normal 10s timer seemed a bit easy, but in fast mode it was actually quite stressful. ๐
Haha that was fun! Sadly didn't make it until the ice world. I wish the movement was less jerky, but otherwise enjoyed it, especially the little arrow key mini game.
Nice and intuitive game play ๐ Was really fun to play!
I liked the effects โบ๏ธ Took me quite a while to manage to finish the first level, but I like a challenge!
Such a cool game! The idea is very original and it just looks and feels very nice. Incredible job!
Haha oh my lord. The first time I needed to shoot some Freuds I was so confused, caught me by suprise ๐ Doesn't happen often in LDjam that you basically get 2 games in one. For a meditation it felt really hectic lol. Good job!
What's not to like about a game about kittens?? ๐ฑ The intro was so lovely, the "voice actor" did such a good job โบ๏ธ For the game itself I wish it wouldn't cycle through the different tools by click and instead just have one button for each item to quickly use the right one. But otherwise the game play was very fun โญ๏ธ
Your art is really beautiful, I love the color palette and style ๐ Unfortunately I'm on a laptop right now without a mouse so it was very hard to get far ๐ I think since it's quite often that you get caught, so it would be nice if restarting skipped the intro automatically. Otherwise the intro was a cool way to introduce the game!
Love to see a puzzle game in Ludum Dare. โบ๏ธ On my first try I was so bad it was frustrating, but then I got the hang of it and enjoyed it! (Somehow I couldn't figure out the word "WHO" from "HOW" lol)
I like the idea with the daily play inspired by Wordle, so you can compare your results with other people. I wish it actually showed your highscore for the day somewhere!
I really like that you considered different input methods. That's often an overlooked aspect in game jams. It was very intuitive that you could either user the keyboard, drag the letters or click on the letters. But I think because it's so intuitive the text in the beginning wouldn't have to be that long and it would have been nice if the correct letters would have been shown directly on the word and not only in the word list.
Overall it's really cool game, I would love to see how the post-jam version would look like (a non-timed version would be appreciated haha)
I really like how this game looks! Also love the basic idea and the progression with new machines added. For me it was overall a bit hard, maybe if newly produced products wouldn't disappear to quickly it would have been a bit easier. Or maybe I should just try harder haha.
By the way: I'm getting this error on Ludum Dare, but the link works. Screenshot 2022-10-05 at 13.44.58.png
What a cool and original take on the theme! Took me a while to get into the controls, but once I understood them it was quite fun. I still have to be honest that I didn't make it further than the third level with the spikes. I wasn't able to time the jumps well enough. But I think that's just because I'm not that good at platformers ๐
I love the look and feel of the game with the pixel-art style and timeline. Also the soundsa and music fit very well.
Love the art style, mood and music of the game! I'm really suprised what a complex game you delivered in such a short amount of time. Took me a while to understand the game play, but it was intriguing enough to spend a bit longer on it :) Good job!
Damn I tried that second level so often haha. Took me like 20 tries or so. Really challenging good bit of fun! I really loved the tutorial level, how you showed me how to play the game. Often overlooked in ludum dare games and really well done with your game. Also love the concept of the game in general, it was a lot of fun!
I think in the end it was just a bit frustrating to control. I wish I could have one button for kicking, one button for picking up and one button for throwing. Howeve if those controls would be improved I would actually love to play the game more!
Hahaha had a good bit of fun there. I guess my humor is very simple-minded. An endless fall is all it takes :)
Once I clicked I was like, yes a clicker! Love to see them in jams. Was quite a fun ride, even though I felt like by buying a lot of forges I could though the levels quite easily. Still was motivated a lot to see each level (partly also because I liked the mood and wanted to see how the next level looked).
If I understood it correctly nothing from the last level took over to the next. I think it would have been fun if there had been some upgrades that you keep after multiple levels.
Ah also the placement felt a bit unintuitive in the beginning. I think previewing and snapping the buildings to the grid would have been easier :)
Anyway, all those 186461 gems for nothing haha.
Nice game! Loved the character and it was fun to mine. For me the loop or needing to go back and recharge felt a bit cumbersome, I wish recharging would have been easier. At first I expected my capsule would fall with me if I remove the dirt below :)
Wow! I gotta be honest, during the first level I thought this was an okay-ish platformer. But then each level changed a bit. Visually I especially loved the second one with the parallex background, so beautiful. I also thought it was interesting to have this monster peaking while I was hiding behind bushes really cool!
I think gameplay wise this hiding + jump'n'run combination is really cool and I would love to see more of this.
Also subscribed to you youtube channel to see what you're up to in the future!
Reverse space invaders :D I wish I would have been able to defend myself against the creatures by shooting them haha. The first time I played it I didn't realize I could have slowed down, skipped the instructions I guess (oops).
Graphics-wise, I loved the little "U-Bot"! :D I would encourage you to do pixel art again next time and try to own/immitate that look. You could also try to limit yourself to a small color palette, there is a nice video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdXpUIATzO0
Cheers!
Edit: lol i didn't mean to embed the video like that, but somehow ldjam does that automatically
I only managed to 10m, it was so hard to figure out how to swim. I feel like I kind of had it, but then I was feeling too frustrated. Still a very good take on the theme!
really beautiful game! the ligh effect was so nice and moodye. good job!
I really love how this game looks and the idea of going down the well is cool as well (*cough*). I actually didn't understand at wirst that I could still move the character after falling out of the bucket. When I understood it, it became a bit easier. But still very challenging! Fare well!
I really liked the characters and animations! Movement felt pretty cool but a little off, seemed like it was too "physics-based" and I was accelareting to much.
Good job!
I only wiped out 57% of all dinosaurs, because in the beginning I thought I can destroy the dinosaurs by crashing into them (I'm an astroid after all ๐ ). But then I understood that I would only loose mass doing this. Loved the little dinosaur graphics and the bosses.
It seemed like thanks to Pythagoras that moving with two arrow keys pressed at the same time was faster, but I guess that's very classic thing and didn't take away from the nice feel of the game.
Good job! ๐ฆ๐ฆ
Quite a fun idea! And defintely the best pun of ld47. I wish I would get some nice feedback after completing a level and it would send me to the next level right away. Really cool puzzle game!
Very nice and relaxed. I liked big-mouth-guy the most. Love the look and feel of the game. I think if there would be different animations for moving left and right with the character it would look even smoother :)
I really love the fox :) The jump'n'run mechanics seem a bit off. It was pretty hard for me to move through the game. Apart from that a really good game!
Maybe too glitchy for me? I couldn't get past the second level. Had no clue what to do :/ I really love how it looks though!
Such a beautiful game! When the picture comes together and the narration starts, oh my god ๐ญ
Pretty hard to play with a track pad, but I really loved the challenge! If I had a mouse it would have been really awesome, even with a track pad I replayed the second level a couple of time.
In the beginning I was a bit confused because the help text in the corner was pretty small. If you place this more prominently that would heave helped :)
I also liked the little particle effect when the plants die!
Didn't make it to the end, but this was super engaging and I love the unique art style!
Beautiful game :) Unfortunately I didn't get how to plant more than one cactus, which also withered away in no time. I was amazed by all the detail in the game though. Also the atmosphere gave me some Bee and Puppycat vibes. Visually this is really good. It would be perfect if everything felt a little bit more coherent. The objects with a more brownish/thicker outline feel a little bit out of place. Some of this might also be scaling the objects differently ๐คThis is just me being nitpicky though lol, it's really cute!
Unfortunately wasn't able to play it, since I have a mac. (Maybe you could export it as html5 with unity?) But I just watched your video and enjoyed seeing your process. Seems like a good game and I love the art style :)
This art style is really lovely and pretty, nice color palette. Also the game itself was fun and on point for the theme. I just wish there was no game over because I'm so terrible that I need to start from the beginning all the time. Nice, pretty and juicy game! Good job :)
Haha, what a fun and ambitious game! Doesn't happen often that a LD game has another mini-game :D Unfortunately one of my pandas died just as I was reaching auto-work hehe. You already mentioned some shortcomings, I'm sure it's mostly about spending more time on it to make this really fun. I especially loved the eating animation, I wish it had some sound effects when the pandas are crunching.
Nice game! I wish it was a bit easier to control the ship. I love low poly art style and mood. It seems though the density of polygons was not consistent, I think if that were the case it would look even better!
Nice idea :) I wish I wouldn't need to start from level 1 though when failing ๐ฌ I love that you kept the color pallette simple, it really works well together. I also loved the overall art style, even though I didn't really recognize the players/enemies quite well as people.
Nice game :) I loved that you added these cut scenes with dialogue in between levels. While I generally like the art style, it felt a little bit messy. Polishing this up a bit would make it even better.
I like the oldschool looking art style :) it feels a little inconsistent though, not exactly sure why, maybe using dithering for shading could work well here. also I wish the character could move a little bit faster, so that I can get those orders out quicker hehe. love the sound the cows make when you melk them haha.
This was really cute to play! Nice art style, mood and sound. Needed the hint for the last level. Felt very nostalgic after this <3
Really lovely art style, I like how everything wobbles. Also liked the little introduction in the beginning. The movement itself felt a bit unresponsive, but the puzzles itself were quite fun. I felt quite stuck in the 3rd level because I didn't realize I could move before making the decision haha
Great idea to combine a gardening game with a tower defense! First I didn't understand that I needed to click on the shop building to buy plants so I was a bit confused. But once I figured it out it was a good bit of fun! Great work :)
I loved the song in the main menu! The game play itself was a bit too stressful to me, took me a while to get the first level done haha. But the words of the robot kept me going. Really nice work!
Couldn't play this on mac, but I think the art looks lovely!
The art of this game is so lovely :) I really liked just walking around and looking at stuff. took me a while though to find the controls. you should mention in the description that c is using an item. also really after knowing the controls I still didn't really know what i had to do apart from keeping the fires out.
anyway: i really love that moustache, would love to see more with that guy haha
I like the style, especially of the buildings :) Love the idea for the theme as well. Felt a bit frustrated about moving so slowly ;)
Haha love this theme in combination with tower defense. Pretty fun idea!
So far the most enjoyable game I game across in this ldjam. Good job!
The way you're presenting the story feels pretty nice, especially the music works super well and creates a nice atmosphere
Nice, very moody game :) Like how the music and colors fit together.
The idea is awesome and I love the style. However I wish there was no way to be game over. I just want to click and not worry about anything :)
This is a pretty cool concept and it was fun to play! I also love your art style.
Love the idea for this one! I think if you tweak the pace and polish the graphics it would be an awesome game!
Haha what a great idea :D Tetris + Shooter really seems incompatible when you hear it, but the way you combined it is very clever!
Nice idea :) But I especially love the art style!
First game I've played at this ldjam and it's super nice! The idea is pretty great, but I especially love how it feels. It's super juicy :)
Would be awesome if this was available for other platforms as well. Also a web version would be great!

It would be great if you could play this game online :)
This was really fun! The juciness of this game is so high that the simplistic game play is not an issue. I really loved the music and the drawings!
Would be awesome if this was available for other platforms as well. Also a web version would be great!

Too bad it's not available on Mac or Web. Would love to try this!
Would be great I I could play this on mac or online
Also it would be great if there was a way to play it online or on mac
Can't play it on mac, but this looks fun!
Would be great if this was available online :)
This was actually kind of fun :) It felt a bit buggy, but the general mechanics were fun. I especially liked that you could clean up the dead kitten. It was really getting hard with a lot of kittens running around into their poo. Also I didn't understand at first that you could feed the cats with the chickens ;)
This looks really good! Sadly there is no way to play it on mac or preferably on the web.
This was really fun to play! And the planet looks so lovely and cute
You should also make it available as an HTML5 game. That would be great!
The sound effects are cute, and I love the animation when you find something.
Would be great if you could play this online!
What a cute game! I just die way to quickly haha

This is so addicting! Is that based on an addicting game? I feel like if you expand this, people would just keep playing it :) I just loved dressing up all the miners and have them work faster and faster. I found it a bit tricky to put the clothes on the little miners moving so fast, but maybe there was also a better way to do it? Really great game, also very beautiful art style and fun little characters. Well done!
