Wow! There are a lot of details for a jam entry. Unfortunately i didn't reach the end. But the game is awesome. Excellent job!

Wow! There are a lot of details for a jam entry. Unfortunately i didn't reach the end. But the game is awesome. Excellent job!
Excellent job ! The shield mechanism is really good idea for the theme.
The game is difficult but once you understand the shield protects you and you don't need to spam it, the game is a little easier. :)
The game is more fun if you controls the character with 2 players! :D
"Kill ! Diarrhea ! Blood ! Delete ! Exterminate ! Xylophone !" Had a lot of fun with your game. Compared to other letter games, picking your own word and seeing immediately if your word is spelled correctly make this game very smooth and fun to play.
Graphics are cute, level design is progressive and you can imagine a lot of features with this concept. Good job :)
Love the SNES sprites style. The game mechanism are really good and the fighting system is really punchy ! :D
It's really fun to use the mouse to destroy enemies. I'm not sure the kick is really useful. But I understand why: if there is only one enemy you can finish it. Good job :)
Good puzzle game, looks like sokoban. I did not notice the number of limited actions on the bottom screen at first.
And yes! This character is dumb. XD
Impressive work ! One of my favorite entries so far ! Well done for the smooth and punchy gameplay feeling.
Cute pixels arts and nice level design. Good job ! :)
Graphics reminds me SNES game like secret of mana. Revulsing the bullet is a fun mechanic and it will be interesting for a bigger game. :)
Nice game mechanism and good experience.
And finished!
Impressive content for the amount of time. The game is a little bit hard/frustrating when you need to mixup wall jump and dash. Otherwise I'm a big fan of metroidvania and you can feel exploration in your game. Good work! :)
Really cute! I love the sound effects of characters. There is a good difficulty curve. Great work! :)
Great idea! You interpreted the theme differently than most others games. Good job!
This is impressive for the amount of time!
I don't know if it's me but the game got really easier with the clone upgrade.
Excellent job guys!
Nice concept. I think it will be more fun if the player has a feedback when it can launch a wave on a carpet.
Impressive lot of content for the amount of time. Controls with gamepad are really good. The attack collider is small and sometimes you need to move back and find the perfect position to kill the enemies. Otherwise this is excellent work. :D
Nice concept. There is a good difficulty curve. The seeds match perfectly with the theme.
Wow! That's a long story for the amount of time.
The story gives me gooses bumps 'til the end.
Good job :)
Simple but fun and addictive game. Perhaps a bit easy: I didn't notice if the number of enemies depends on time elapsed or number of enemies killed or just a fixed time.
Hey! I played both version (compo and post-compo) and post-compo version is pretty damn good! There's a good difficulty curve and a better progression feeling. Too bad the shot power is only useful for the end. That said, it's a very funny game. Good job!
Nice game. The random weapon is good concept. Perhaps you can split the enemies waves into smaller waves to make the game easier.
Good game !!! Fine graphics, impressive fx, nice sounds and destructible environnements work well together. A little bit too much random on level design though. I kept dying because my character was stuck. If you are going for a post-prod version, maybe you should focus on that. I really appreciated your work and wish you the best for the following :)
The concept is really nice. I like the way you have to steal enemies to retrieve your clothes and don't get caught by the cop. But I think some important feedbacks are missing to improve the gameplay :
- A visual feedback when you're close enough to enemies to steal their clothes.
- Another visual (and sound) feedback (an alarm for example) when the cop is "activated" and want to arrest you.
That said I love the game! Good job!
Nice gameplay! The swapping mechanic matches with the theme. You need probably an invincible duration to avoid some frustration when you get hit by an enemy who just shooting after the teleport. Good job anyway!
Good job for your first jam. I like the doll's upgrade.
Impressive game. The idea matches perfectly with the theme.
This game reminds me sometimes you can be dyslexic with your keyboard ^_^'
Thanks for all your feedbacks and reactions ! It's really nice to see you loved our game that much. We listened to your feedback and added some MUSICS and SOUNDS !!! Hope you will enjoy it :)
Very interesting story line. The alien point of view on human civilisation is really inspired. The gameplay based on solid holograms is clever and can really be pushed much further. The action/puzzle part is a bit confusing : I kept being shot by an out of screen drone and had a lot of trouble understanding its pattern to put it down. Great job however, I would love to see you guys pushing this concept further.
Wow! That's very solid game mechanics. And I like the replay value of this game (some random + secrets at the end). Good job!
Nice concept! The last level is bit hard to understand and I don't know if I found the good way to finish it.
I love the concept! It's a bit hard at the beginning to focus on mixing up colors and move with the snail at the same time.
We've got the same idea to mix up colors as a weapon but with different gameplay (this is the "magic of Ludum Dare"). Good work! :)
Good game mechanisms. This is a bit hard but the concept is really cool and matches with the theme.
Game mechanics are really fun and innovative. But it's really hard to remember to shoot in rythm. XD
Pretty nice game! Control hair is a bit hard. Good job! :)
Nice concept!
I vote for option A.
Simple but very cool.
Good job :)
Nice idea!
The first screen is very beautiful!
The ragdoll can be a little bit tricky to control and sometimes i have felt stuck in the level.
It was a cool experience. :)
Wow! Fantastic entry.
Mixup between RPG and Wario Ware work perfectly.
I love the game atmosphere.
Great job!
Good concept!
The controls are weird and unclear.
Nice work anyway! :)
No sure who is the biggest monster : Cthulu or those bloodthirsty farmers ? Nice work btw :)
Short but very addictive!
Good job! :)
Nice concept with a very good theme interpretation.
The hitbox is a bit hard a first but not frustrating.
It's very fun to perform the monster you just killed before. Excellent level design BTW !
Great job :D
Wow!
This is impressive for a 48h game. The game mechanic is really fun and reminds me pikmin. The art are excellent and zombies messages are really really funny.
A small improvement will be a visual feedback when all humans are dead (like "Go to exit").
Very interesting concept.
I love the way you interpret the theme. :)
Very addictive.
Good job! :)
Extraordinary concept. I love the : "What have you done !" part. Not sure the platform part was needed though. It would make an incredible simulation game (punish pyromans with fire, murderer with spikes, bullies with terror skeletons, ...). Really great entry !
Very good game. I fell a Lone Survivor inspiration here :) The general ambiance is impressive. Only the unexplained spikes got me out for few seconds of this really good experience.
Great concept pretty well executed and polished.
A little bit hard. Fortunately there's a tutorial.
And as usual, impressive for a 48h game! :D
Really good projet. Fine art, fine music, fine level design, fine controls. I really had a good time playing your game :) Good work !
Simple idea, fine humor and good design. However, I kept getting blocked because of satellites out of screen or trick shots too difficult to do without a better aiming system. I didn't reach the end (the last level I gave up on was the one with many planets in Y form with a nebula in the middle and a moving planet. This level drove me crazy.
Nice art !
I've tried the game twice and the first time i've got 100/100 and the second time i've got 86/100. Perhaps it's because i did'nt interact with all elements but it's weird and we don't know which element is a clue for the monster (a sound effect, a visual feedback).
The concept is cool and I think we can go deeper with it.
Good job :)
Graphics are nice.
The character movement is veryyyyy slow and it's a bit frustrating.
I couldn't reach the last goal in one run despite I don't pay for any upgrades. I think it's because bills give random money and there is no feedback to indicate the amount (a color for each amount could resolve that).
Nice work in any case! :)
Nice music and lovely art.
The movement player is a bit slow.
Good job anyway! :)
The graphics are good.
The gameplay is a little bit repetitive. Perhaps you can unlock powers to become stronger or hits more enemies.
The game also needs more feedbacks to know if player or enemies are hit (there is a small fx, but you probably need to flash them)
Despite everything the game is fun. Nice work :)
So many arrows flying EVERYWHERE. They can't defeat me. I'm too strong, too fast, too dangerous for them. I'M A F****G DRAGOOOOOOOON ! HEAR ME ROAR. FEEL MY BLAZING BREATH ON YOUR THIN SKIN. YOU POOR HUMAN, YOU STAND NO CHANCE. YOU GONA FRY LIKE... like... pancakes in butter ! YES, LIKE PANCAKES, YOU LITTLE LEGGED DISHES !!! ... Ow... Embarrassing... They just got me...
Nice art and good atmosphere. Best seduction lesson ever : make here "fall" in love.
Smart rhythm game!
There is a good difficulty curve and the controls are very simple and progressive.
6 songs + game mechanics in 48h... It's very impressive for a compo entry. ^_^
Great job
Interesting idea,
I love the ghouls'n ghost reference.
The hero is a little bit hard to reach and sometimes when the hero dies, i lost my monster because the camera moves to the previous hero's checkpoint and it's too far for my spawned monster.
Great job! :D
Great "Wario Ware" entry!
The minigames are good. The monster is very "cute" and funny. The difficulty curve is excellent.
Good job! :D
4 endings until now. My favorite for the moment is the fluffy ending.
There's so much content for the amount of time!
Great job! :D
Wow! This is very good. Even it is a bit too easy to win (I've reached wave 14/15 without any difficulty). Feeling is very good and it was very difficult to let the game go once in hands.
A combo system for scoring would be great!
Good job! :D
Edit: I didn't vote for the Audio category because the music is not from yours. Perhaps you should remove category from contest ?
Nice entry here!
As some others said, it's a bit hard to understand you need to go to the spikes to continue the game but once learned, it's pretty fun!
For the boss I did not understand at first how to not get hurt. Perhaps a blink effect on the boss attack box when it stomps would help. :)
Good job
Wow wow wow! It's an amazing work due to the amount of time. I sadly couldn't finish the game (I've been stuck on boss phase3 and game crashes when I jump on him on phase1). But it's a really impressive. I'll try to finish it later.
Great job guys! You've made my day :D
@trocentraisin Oh! I've got into phase3 once and it's weird but I tried to die. :p
When it crashed, game just froze and then window closed. It's not necessarily related to the boss: I've launched immediately another run and I've got the same crash against zombies just after my jump.
Nice game! Nice concept! Good aesthetic and gameplay is pretty effective.
Become a lot easier if you stay nearby a file to protect it until the waves are finished. If you want to avoid that, you can make a global lifebar for your hard drive depending on your corrupted files.
Good job! :)
Highscore : 1422 Pretty nice. Game is simple but mechanics are solid. Good job! :)
Pretty cool and pretty fun to play. A bit hard at first but I've found some ways to put them to the terminating center. Good job! :)
Very cool game! I spent a lot of time on it. Once mechanics integrated, it's a very addictive and there's a good flow. Even I can vote for audio category, you pickup the right song for you game.
Great job! :D
Nice concept! I know you ran out of time but here's some little improvement ideas for a postjam version : - You can add scoring system. It's always interesting to comparing score with others - You can add a dash mechanic to allow Barnaby to quickly catch up his opponents.
Nice job! :)
Nice entry for your second LD. Controls (movement/jump) are a bit fast for me and it's really hard to get out when I got crushed. Good job! :)
@gord10ahmet Thanks! Yes there is a successful end condition => You need to reach the 4th cycle with your crowdies. :)
Thanks everyone for feedback. Glad you like our little crowdies! o_O
If you have difficulties with diseases. Check the eyes/mouth positions/sizes of your crowdies. Maybe some of them are not very healthy! :D
@andy-d Oh! It would be difficult to play with a trackpad. We will try to find a way to add alternative controls.
@mgoadric Each color represents different diseases. Some of them are very dangerous, others are virulent. Perhaps we can reduce screenshakes intensity to avoid miss clicks.
Wow! lot of suggestions here! Try to answer to everyone:
@reuh Blue and Green plague are pretty virulent. Initially we have planned some specials events for each cycles (alien invasions, natural disasters) but I think you know the answer :p (time, priorities, etc...).
@red-pill Ha ha! Glad you react to the cought sound, means it works as expected! Yeah, I've noticed the webgl is a bit laggy at the end of the game. We looking for some optimization to avoid that. The native builds did not have theses laggy issues though.
@uncannyvalley As you said, it's not entirely a binary state. If you click at 90% grown you will have a 10% little malus and it's insignificant according to new crowdy characteristics. So don't be afraid. But you're right, a little indicator could be cool. :)
Thanks everybody once again! :D
Like this game. The limited space is a very cool feature and match perfectly with the theme. I've got a little bug: I've lost a life against the boss and when I was back, I was outside of the limited box, a lot easier to kill it obviously. x)
Good job! :D
Score : 1844. It's not high but it's a good start.
This is a pretty solid entry for a second gamejam. Very addictive and the pacing is really good. I'm making circles with fire extinguishers. It's pretty effective to stay alive but don't know if it's the best way ha ha!
Good job! :)
Hey! I don't see the game entirely on the screen (even on fullscreen mode). chrome_2018-08-15_15-46-21.png
Perhaps you can upload an exe version of your game and/or readjust the canvases? Thanks! :D
It was very fun! And it was a great use of theme. Like others said, best strategy is to smash the nearby keys. Even with an azerty keyboard (with qwerty layout enabled) it is entirely playable. Great jobs guys! :D
Hey! Very cool game for your first game jam. Simple but very addictive.
Like others said, there's some issues with collisions and sometimes I can't walk 'cause I get stuck between 2 boxes. Also I've got a run when I get trapped as @themonsterfromthedeep said.
Hope you continue this little concept. Good job ! :)
Pretty good game with solid mechanics here! Love the difficulty curve. Is there a retry button when you know you've made a mistake and want to retry without moving to a dead end ? Good job! :D
Ok! It was... weird but in a positive way! :) It was a cool experience. Love the art style and the "glitchy mode?" Good job!
The combat system is bit hard to understand. I use only the paw, the others move are too slow to beat the human. Apart from that the rest of the game is very cool and I love the universe. Good job! :)
Ha ha! I'm glad there is another team who have practically the same idea. The concept is good and you can push it further. And if you're curious you can see what we've done on our side. Good job! :)
Ok! I tried to finish the Level Steph... I mean Level 5 but it was too hard for me. XD
Solid entry here! I love the fact I move faster when I don't have the ball and took the risk to not possess the ball to improve my dodging skills. Great job! :D
The concept is nice and the mix between tower defense and unit shooting on rhythm is pretty good. Perhaps you can remove the gold punishment when you miss a note (snails miss their shot, it's already a big loss) and like @elemel said you can make a grade system to make the shoot stronger/weaker. It's a good entry! Good job! :)
The concept works pretty well. Like the others, i would like to rotate blocks (with right click for example). Love the aesthetic. Good job!
Pretty nice concept. The atmosphere is really good! Perhaps a little countdown before question ends (3...2...1) + big feedback when you win/lose could add more immersion. Good job! :D
Wow! There is an authentic emotional rollercoaster in this game. The atmosphere (art, music, Meownie miaowing) is so gorgeous and I love the post effect when meeting creepy creatures.
You gave a scary, cute and sad (in the end) ambiance at the same time and with only 72h? Really impressive.
Super great job! :D
This is so addictive. I can play this all day without problem. Love the aesthetic. Same like the others, it could be really interesting to play this in VR. Good job!
Very good entry here! Enemies are little bit aggressive at first and I understand quickly it's more effective to play sneaky style to kill them. Good job! :)
Wow! This is pretty solid, more especially if we considered game made with sdl/glfw only. Good job!
Pretty solid entry here with a great atmosphere. It's very oppressive to cook for these monsters. Music add more stressful feeling. It could be fun to add some intermediate ingredient but it's already good very like that. Great job! :)
Interesting Concept! Could be cool if the used cards go back to the deck directly (instead of being vanished forever) good job!
Interesting concept! The mix between shooter and 2048 game works pretty well. I didn't get it at first I need to destroy the lower numbers to have bullets for the next series but once understood it's very cool. Good job! :)
Great idea and great atmosphere but OMG this is so much stressful. XD Good job everyone!
Pretty solid entry here! Progression feeling is great and there is a good learning curve. The enemies waves are a little bit hard. Love the level design too. Great job! :)
This is a really good entry here! Very dynamic and it's a pleasure to kick some golfers when I don't have the time to reach the ball. Controls are pretty cool and game is polished as well. I didn't notice there's a indicator to show the ball direction at first so I've tried to follow AI and sometimes they seem to be a bit lost XD. Music atmosphere fits the concept entirely.
Great job!
Yeah! Another concept mixing puzzle match and shoot'em up. Great entry here. Love the idea to match the loot to upgrade your ship and get some credits at the end of the sector. The global atmosphere is really impressive especially for a compo entry! Great job! :D
Wow! The combination between the two genres is really good. I'll play a full version of this game without hesitation. Love the fact you can pickup block from the neighbors room. Great entry here who needs more visibility. Great job! :D
Finished! Good vibes between the two characters. Good job! :)
A very good idea with good execution! In the end it's hard to have classic card to do some essential moves. Love the concept. Good job! :)
Nice concept! It's a bit hard to have 2 brains on the same time but I love the idea and as you said you can call a team mate to help to manage the two screens together. Really good job for a compo entry! :D
Ha ha! Love the pogo pattern! XD
It was awesome! Great job!
Wow! This is a really good mix. I love the atmosphere and the music matches perfectly. Perhaps I'd reduced the match puzzle UI (or set a little alpha) to see the action behind, it can become more stressful to see the monster reached the player directly. Great job everyone! :D
Nice game! The first gold resources is little bit hard to get. Love the mix up between tower defense and clicker game (it works well). It could be useful to know buildings roles, but I love the minimalist UI too. Great job anyway!
Hey! There is a DLL missing in WindowsBuild (UnityPlayer.dll) I just reached the level 3 and I don't know how I can reach the two elements with my bullets (I am too far). Am i missing something ? :)
Love the sounds mechanics. ^^
Sorry I did'nt notice, but there are some others DLL missing => inside DATA/Mono folder, you should have "EmbedRuntime" folder containing Mono DLL.
I've found the solution for Level3! Good job and congratulations for your first LD entry. :)
Really good combination. I love how you need to anticipate enemies moves/bullets.
I would like to control the ship bullet direction especially for the boss which goes on the bottom and I cannot shoot him until it finishes to move completely on left side. But hey! this is something boss does in classic shoot'em up, it is just longer because of tactical aspect. ^^
And with more content, it could definitively be a commercial game.
Great job!
Really cool concept! Love the aesthetic and the mix between a fighting game and card game. The concept seems to have good potential and it could be better with more decks/cards. It's a bit hard to understand what's going on on the screen at first but once you pass this first wall, it's really fun. Good job! :)
Finished! Actually you mixed up a platformer with a golf game! So... you respected the theme. :D The concept is pretty cool, reminds me Dandara recently. Final levels are very challenging. Perhaps you can plug the restart button before dying (I know sometimes i messed up my leap and wanted to restart directly instead of waiting to die). This is technically solid especially for compo entry. Good job!
Cool concept. Music atmosphere is nice. The shield mechanic works pretty well. Perhaps you can improve it with some visual feedbacks (for example a little halo to know where the player is protected with the shield). Also it could be interesting to have some enemies who hit you when you have your shield in position. Anyway, great job for your second jam. Hope to see more. :)
Nice concept!
Is there a way to know the number of actual resources? (didn't find it)
It could be great with more visual/sounds effects (ex: when resources are collected or when percentage completion is complete).
Good job! Especially for a compo game. :)
Love the mix between cooking and dungeon crawler. Great music atmosphere. Good job! :)
A very small great entry! The aesthetic is gorgeous and I love the little story behind. Great job guys!
Nice idea! It's a bit hard at first to combine the racing and the card game together but I've finally reached the victory screen. I think the best combination (for a right-handed person) is the arrow keys to move and the number keys to use cards.
I've noticed later that the power bar on the top left is linked to the cost of the wizard spells. Perhaps you can disable cards which doesn't have enough power to be used? :)
Anyway good job! Hope you'll have enough votes to be ranked! :D
Nice idea! Could be fun to integrate this gameplay into minigame sequences (like WarioWare). Good job!
Excellent mix between stealth game and rhythm game. I understood late characters bounce head when moving/can move: it is so useful. Great job!
Ha ha! "Hello my name is Wanda"
Good combination. Good job guys!
Ha ha! I laughed so hard when I hit the ball first time (did'nt expect this). It's really funny while a bit hard to control the ball direction. Great job everyone! :)
Concept is really nice! Hope to see more.
Nice entry! But can we talk about that video with tap-dancing men please? XD
Good job! :)
Concept and mechanics are good! The stop button helps me to focus on my target, but on the other side it could be fun to always move and focus on target while jumping. Good job!
Spend a little time to learn mechanics but once understood it's a great entry! You learn to plug cables faster at each new run. Great job! :)
Oh! I've got a lot of fun with these football warriors(???). Love the atmosphere.
It's a bit hard to know where to hit your opponent but I think it's a part of the pleasure.
I've missed the switch button at first (my bad the instructions was just below) but perhaps you can remind them before starting the game.
Good job!
Hey! This is pretty cool. Could be really fun in a mix of arena minigames.
Hey! Actually it was a pretty cool experience. The mechanics works well. Love the monsters design (more especially the bouillon cube). I didn't notice there was a recipe to follow at first (and i miserably died XD). Perhaps some little icons instead of text can help for that. Good job! :)
Like the idea and the concept. Simple but very effective. Perhaps you can stop blocks moving while player is on it. It can improve the control feelings. Good job anyway! :)
This was a pretty cool experience. I like the fact you have to run and optimize your route to get all the items. Good job (more especially if it's your first 3D experience)! :)
Nice concept and the execution is cool. I have some ideas to improve it: - Specific weapons for each policeman (sniper, sub-machine etc...) - An ability to switch directly between policemen in FPS mode (with a camera zoomin/out to preserve the RTS atmosphere) - It could useful to know where are the others policemen (with little arrows on the screen sides) + a state when a policeman is hit by a zombie or in danger. - More advantages to use the RTS mode: today you can move simultaneously multiple units. What if you can move them faster in RTS mode? Or perhaps you can heal one of them (with a cooldown for example?)
Anyway good job! :)
A little bit hard for me but concept is pretty nice. Good job!
Same here! I don't find the link with theme but the aesthetic and the atmosphere is great! Objects to find are neither too easy nor too much hard to find. It's a good experience. You should add some screenshots on LD page and itchio page. It can really helps player to know which kind of game it is. Good job anyway! :)
Reached level 4 alone! XD Excellent entry here! Love the animation. The keyboard controls help to play with another buddy. Great job!
Nice and cute entry. The mix between dating and chasing your enemies works pretty well. Like some others said, it could be nice to have a score in the end. Good job! :)
Nice concept! Great pixel art. The beginning is a little bit easy but when it comes to 2 buttons, it becomes really fun. Good job. :)
Thanks everyone for your feedbacks. Glad you like the idea!
@ramon15749 You're right, we'll change the shape of the pull bullets in a postjam version for more readability. For the further/matching colours bullets, it could be a power up or a special game mode.
A big thank you to everyone for your positive and constructive feedbacks. It really helps us to build a better game.
@ramon15749 @zeu31 @maesk @maloy-quinn => We changed the color of the default bullet to match with the color of the ship. So it'll be easier to make the difference between the push and the pull bullets. Hope it'll help you.
@fabian-pohl => In fact there's already a death sound, but it's not loud enough. We'll change that!
@nardandas => I'll try to enlarge the triggers to avoid these little issues.
Cheers!
