Interesting Idea, but it does not work out completely, because you can't concentrate on drawing the cards and winning the race. The graphics do look nice, but the controls feel a little bit off. Nevertheless good game.
PS. I think game maker also offers the option to make the game a executable. (At least GM1 does) You might find it in the Global Game Settings.
Also i found this error message: ___________________________________________ ############################################################################################ FATAL ERROR in action number 1 of Mouse Event for Glob Left Released for object o_card:

@DaragonGames Thanks for the feedback, that error message is caused by a dumb mistake I made in the end when time wa running out and occurs when playing the "gravity field" card. I fixed that and will upload a updated version, so and can be played with all cards.
Interesting concept, the race felt a bit short to really make use of the cards, but I can see this working with longer levels. At least, I'm assuming that I was losing when the race reset due to the other player reaching the end? The knockback from taking damage might have been a bit severe for a race scenario, as getting hit was hard to recover from. Overall the mechanics seem to mostly be working for a complicated concept, good job!
I couldn't figure out how to use the cards, though I like the idea.
Just as a recommendation: Games that you have to install are a big deterrent to some of us. It's better to have a stand-alone zip with just the executable and data in it. I'm not sure if GM2 lets you do this, but might help for the future.
Nice concept. I would suggest making the jump a little bit less unforgiving. Give to the player a small time to perform a jump even after going off the platform, aka "coyote time". That way the gameplay would be more smooth.
And yes, installers are kinda turning off a lot of people from trying out the game.
Nice idea! It's a bit hard at first to combine the racing and the card game together but I've finally reached the victory screen. I think the best combination (for a right-handed person) is the arrow keys to move and the number keys to use cards.
I've noticed later that the power bar on the top left is linked to the cost of the wizard spells. Perhaps you can disable cards which doesn't have enough power to be used? :)
Anyway good job! Hope you'll have enough votes to be ranked! :D
Difficult and fun! for some reason the game would crash for no reason while I was playing, probably just my pc :/, I really liked your take on the theme though!
The gravity card crashes the game consistently :( I would have liked to start with more mana initially as it seems the game is borderline impossible once they get too far ahead.
Maybe I just suck, though.
Other than that, the game idea itself is pretty neat (and sort of similar to our game in terms of card implementation).
Well done!

@JoshCanProgram @Langotriel We know, that the gravity field card crashes the game but sadly recognized it after the deadline and can't upload a fixed version now, because we used the limited gamemaker 2 version. And Yeah, we tend to make pretty difficult games at LD, not even really on purpose, it just happen :D
