I liked the graphics and the "pack" of workers that you get to move around, however I think your game would benefit from some type of win condition or doing specific quests ( like getting to a safe zone/finding a lost worker etc). I got a code error pop up right after dying. Overall it was pretty fun to play, keep up the good work!
We were stuck in the pause menu and we couldn't break boxes. Adding some sort of sound or visual cue when switching characters would help a lot too. Great job nevertheless!
Solid game, catchy audio and the graphics are very nice as well! However, it's not very clear when you win or lose. Overall it's a great entry! keep up the good work!
Great entry for the compo! We are loving the low poly graphics. We believe that the game would benefit from some specific challenges or enemies to be on the lookout for.
The game would benefit from some instructions and set clear goals but it was quite fun overall :) Space to place is a nice catch phrase though!
The game looks really cool and we love the text effects when collecting the power-ups. The whole neon look makes for a really cool vintage feel. Some visual feedback for your speed would be a cool finishing touch! Keep it up!
The whole going around the planet makes this game a lot more interesting. We'd love to see an update on it! Good job!
Good idea, could use more polishing though. I don't know if it was intended but the aiming is a bit off. Overall you did a great job!
The flavour text is what really makes this game so enjoyable. Once you get the whole horde of characters on the screen it's nearly impossible to control your own character. Overall it's a fun entry, keep up the good work!
Very fun game! The graphics and the music create a cool unique atmosphere. I would recommend you would allow the player to move with the arrow keys too as that is what most people are used to. Nevertheless, this one of the games I enjoyed the most while playtesting ludum dare entries. Keep it up!
I want to start by congratulating you guys on the graphics! I thought they were really cool. I would suggest improving the combat mechanics by adding a ranged ability. Good job !
This game is great and the graphics are amazing! Great job!
The idea is very nice, too bad I couldn't play in the "horror" mode. Great effort though!
Great submission. Feels really polished :) Keep it up!
Very original approach! It is impressive that this is a Compo entry. Solid mechanics and solid AI for the enemy. Surely more content would be appreciated as well as the ability to click on the minimap for easy navigation. Keep it up!
This game is amazing! Stunning visual and great puns really made it for me. I highly suggest adding a death count as @wrexialmt suggested and maybe a death sound effect. Keep up the good work!
I had fun trying your game out but I think more clues on what to do next would have been really helpful. Keep up the good work :)
Pretty fun game, could use some more music and sound effects but overall it's pretty good! Awesome graphics!
Really interesting concept! I found it quite fun for the first couple of rounds but then it gets a bit repetitive. I had a hard time understanding the smaller text but that might just be me. Awesome graphics though!
I'm liking the cleanness of the artwork! I think the game could be further improved by adding more variation to the cards and having different backgrounds to fit each enemy would be a nice touch. As @Tiberon and @Tuomo have said previously, having enemy health bars and visual feedback upon hitting them would be great. All in all I had fun playing it! Congrats!
I really like what you did with this game! I feel like I could spend a lot of time playing it. I agree with everyone who said that it would be nice to have some variation for the music and snappier controls with some kind of visual feedback when you get the notes right. The "rate" button also doesn't work so you should look into that. I really hope you push this project further because it has great potential!
Cute game! I think it would have been even better with some music & sound effects, perhaps a little more diversity in the platforms or having to do combos of left and right clicks to get the last platforms. However I think it's a pretty solid game. Good job!
I'm in love with the artwork and the overall mood, however I feel like it's missing a "level failed" warning and it would be nice to see what level you're on so you can track the progress. I think this game would be so much fun to play on mobile as well. Great job!
This game is actually quite addictive once you get the hang of the controls. I would have liked a "game over" screen but other than that it's really cool. Keep up the good work!
The concept of your game is really cool :) Great title too! I think there are some issues with the display of the trees at certain times (they seem to be misplaced either inside the ground or up in the sky sometimes). Also, if I were you I would make it a bit more obvious that the player should avoid the rocks and/or would make the game more forgiving to mistakes - I noticed that once Yeti takes the lead there is little the player can do to recover. Very nice idea though, keep it up!
I loved the concept of having a potato gun, however I experienced some glitches throughout the game ( going up with a chicken and dying, kitchen not allowing me to cook, etc). Still I think you did great and it was quite fun to play!
This game looks amazing and I think it's got a great potential! Even though it's pretty buggy right now (couldn't smash the orb even though I had the sword, got stuck between spikes that kept respawning me no matter what I tried to do, etc) it's till fun to play. I'm looking forward to a finished version of this!
I feel like this game is one of its kind! The artwork looks great and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different scenarios. Keep it up!
This was way more engaging than I expected! I'm really digging the artstyle and the music really adds to the experience. I feel like the plant growing area was a bit cluttered and could be simplified artwise and the game would really benefit from some sound effects. Overall the game looks and handles great! Awesome job!
Nice entry! The art of your game is very good :) The sound effects could be improved a lot and that would make a huge difference. Really cool experience nevertheless.
I'm really digging this whole idea! Sure, it could have been better with music and sound effects but it's great nevertheless. Cute graphics and unique game mechanics make it stand out. Great job!
I had a great time playing this game! Only thing I had a slight issue with was the fact that I couldn't figure out how to collect the food at first and I kept deflecting it for a while. Maybe you should include that in the tutorial. Other than that, awesome game!
I love this game! The whole concept is really funny to me and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Awesome game, guys! I think you should work a bit more on the UI part to make it match the rest of the theme, but other than that I really enjoyed playing it(I managed to get 3 hearts).
I'm loving pretty much everything about this game! I'd suggest adding a more detailed list of the controls but overall it's pretty solid. Great job on the visuals and music!
The visuals are really pretty but I found myself having to use the god mode to experience the story. As @Alans Antics mentioned, a skip tutorial button would be much appreciated. Overall you guys did a great job!
This is one of the most creative entries I've come across so far! It gets impossible to dodge all the waves while having a limited number of attacks but overall I'm really digging it. Keep it up!
The visuals are very nice, the music really sets the mood and I really enjoyed playing your game. I hope you'll end up finishing the whole thing. Great job and good luck!
This was a really fun game to play! I really appreciated the music but I feel like the controls on the car could be improved for a better experience. Great job either way!
The artstyle and the music were outstanding. Great job on those! Maybe you could have made the cooking mechanics easier to get into or at least could have made the first level more forgiving. Maybe a tutorial could have helped.
I think the idea is pretty good and I fully agree with @mao on shortening the names of the moving controls. I think having slower enemies or starting off with a default weapon would make the learning curve less steep. Overall a good game with really cute graphics!
This is a very interesting game! I kinda got stuck around in the driving mode because of the odd colliders on the rocks and the unforgiving controls. The music and the artstyle are actually pretty good so keep up the good work!
Mad props for the graphics and the music! Couldn't get past 35 waves so I would suggest that you lower the difficulty a tiny bit so one can get around to using other pieces besides the pawn and the knight. I hope you'll push the game further because this idea has a lot of potential. Good job!
Really cool entry! The jumps felt a little bit weird at first, so maybe it would be a good idea to have a second look at those. Other than that the design is clean and minimalistic. Very enjoyable :)
The idea you had for this theme was really cool and unique! I think that the graphics could use some improvement and maybe consider placing more space/time between the spawning canvases because some glitching occurs when 2 canvases are too close to each other. However, I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed playing your game!
The gameplay and the audio are great, especially for compo. Maybe the graphics could use some improvement but overall it was a great and fun experience. Keep it up!
