Runs fine for me; using Windows 7 64-bit. Might need the XNA framework installed? I have it installed, along with the most recent version of .NET.
Also, my review:
* WOW CRAZY GRAPHICS WOAH
* Gameplay: Meh. I don't care for puzzle games and the hit detection seems a little bit squirrelly. Got to the last level though. It gets the job done.
I like the recharge-in-the-sun mechanic. Sort of wish I could take the battle to the enemies and shoot up their homeworlds though.
Might need XNA and the .NET runtime installed.
OH GODS DEATH STAR
EYE LASERS
I approve of this game!
Ah, a fan of Minecraft and Terraria. :-)
A little tedious. And I'm somewhat disappointed that you can't fall out of the bottom of the world. But competently made and a cool goal.
I get a 403 as well.
Interesting, but could use a little more elaboration. You probably know this. :-)
Being able to fast-forward time would also be handy.
Aww, you don't hold on to NanoCanisters between levels?
I don't like puzzle games, but I liked this. :-) Multiple ways to do a puzzle, interesting resources and options, and the constant wonder what would happen next. Only complaint is I found the text boxes a little too easy to click through.
Om nom nom!
I love it. A little spastic, as you said, but still. Hilarious concept and graphics. I especially like how the player doesn't get bigger, everything else just gets smaller.
Probably not as bad as you think. Has solid basic elements: Go Get Stuff, followed by Use Stuff To Get Better Stuff. The rest is just details. :-)
Though at some point I somehow ended up with negative amounts of ingredients.
Collision detection is a little wonky. Though I am enjoying the mental image of a giant yellow head grabbing onto a ledge with its lips.
Also, you are probably way better at platformers than I am, since I couldn't get past the second level. :-)
Psychic giant defending Earth with mind bullets! I love it. Be sort of nice if you kept score of how many enemies you'd destroyed.
Um, wow. I find the graphics just evocative enough to be somewhat disturbing. Good job! :-D
The gameplay is also rather interesting, and it ends on a twist! I approve.
Woah.
So... is getting taken away by [SPOILERS] the GOOD ending? Pretty sweet little game.
Sweet little platformer. But oh gods, the sound hurts my ears.
Bwahahaha, SMASHBOT SMASH!
Erm, I found it rather fun. I'd love to see a more featureful version.
Neat little arcade game! I like the upgrades system. Only got to 45 though.
Real good for the limited time!
Only suggestion might be more varied weapons... I never had a reason to actually use the sword to fight anything. Maybe if it had a longer reach...
Buggy and flaky... but also a totally rad idea. I'd love a more complete version.
Pretty cool, but alas, too hard for me. I'm bad at puzzle games. :-)
Cool little game! Great physics. Took me a little while to realize what was going on though; better instructions might help. But hey, rocket pants!
Pretty cool! I like the engine and lighting for some reason. The game itself is a little underdeveloped (weapon hit effects would have added a lot), but fighting giant doom ants was fun. (I wish you were an ant as well, taking on other ants in deadly mandible-to-mandible combat... am I weird?)
Interesting idea! Though fire speed and shot speed seem to be the only stats you need...
Difficult! Painful! Wonderful! Reminds me of Chem 2...
I won! :D
Nice classic styling and gameplay in general. Congrats on your first LD!
Awesome.
Controls are a little flaky though. Could use some music.
Sort of bland. And there's no way I can micromanage all those guys at once; hiding in the corner and hoping for the best seems most effective. I was able to hide one guy almost off the screen and lost another entirely; I think he ended up behind the UI. Still, interesting idea.
I have reliable reports that the Linux version also works on Mac if you have pygame installed.
Additionally, I made a screencast of me programming this game, which is worth watching if only for the sweet music I dug up:

Holy cats that's tiny.
Surprisingly easy to start playing though, considering there's no directions and you're straining your eyes the whole time.
Great job! Utterly unexpected, new, bizarre and trippy, and all that with only 256 pixels!
Crashed for me as well, on the start of the fourth level.
It's pretty good and indeed rather ambitious, as people have noted, but I sort of got annoyed at the lack of information... what do the red and blue potions do? How much do the stats actually matter?
Music and writing were cool though!
The music seems to loop very oddly and interfere with itself on Firefox 61/ :-(
