Good one, man! Movement sometimes feels a bit floaty (should it?) and most of the weapons (or have I just spawned only the bad one?) are irritatingly slow in fire rate. On the other hand I very much like the body immune system (?) theme. Think weapons should be a little more abstract to fit it, but that's really subjective. Of course absence of SFX is a big downer in overall feeling, but given the time... :)

Thank you for your feedback :) The lack of time didn't allow me to animate the Boo player, so we did it with code and that makes it floaty. We did actually have a boss yet to be implemented.

Nice that you put in so many assets/weird stuff to interact with!
Classical Gameplay but beautifull art. So much sprites and animations. Procedural things can get tricky, especially in 3 days, but it seems to work very well. GG
Good stuff man - haha the little guy inside the immune system with the little revolver was adorable. I didnt read that it was procedurally generated so i spent like 20 mins going in one direction trying to find the end of the map until i experienced a crash. It happened when i ran really fast into an enemy whilst shooting them.
Also the revolver felt a lot better than the shotgun to use which was sad because all i could find were shotguns ha!
Nice game man - love the visuals and vibe.
Nice game. Cool concept and good graphics. Good job!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. @kyperbelt Oops, it tries to spawn objects in the wall chunk, but there are no empty tiles. Infinite loop! Hopefully few reach that point anyway. :)
First off, the eerie atmosphere with weird creatures and sounds is definitely very immersive, though I would've preferred more sound effects to indicate that I'm being hit for instance. One improvement I can see is to allow player to have complete 360 degree of shooting angle as you currently can't shoot directly above you or below you, however this can be remedied by moving around. Overall, very nice graphics, and the atmosphere is good. There is a good potential for a full game here if you decide to complete it.
This is a great submission! Large variety of sprites that come together and make a kind of abstract hell that's as weird as it is eerie. The music is very ominous and totally sets the mood. I like being able to tunnel through walls and I'm a big fan of procedurally generated games. Great job!

The environment is really nice - the graphics is very well made and everything fits together so well and the sounds just add to the great athmosphere :)
What was a little bit annoying is death that you can only hardly escape - once I lost 2 hearths right after spawning and sometimes I felt there were too many thigs coming out of my screen that just killed me (out of nowhere a laser! :D )
And after I have developed some simple strategy (going inside walls, getting a flamethrower and shooting from just narrow path, I felt like I could just sit there forever and get as high score as I would like to - I feel some motivation to move and go somewhere actually would be really great :)
Overall really nice job, I think that with just a few changes it could be really great game with quite a long gameplay :)

@altron Thanks for playing! I agree with you. The start is too hard, and the end is too easy. :)
Nice job !
I'm impressed that there is already so much content for a Jam - congratulations !
The procedural generation add a lot regarding the replay-ability, and in your case it's really a big plus.
I really hope you will join LD again and I'm looking forward your next submission - keep working !

Noice graphics! Sensing a strong Isaac influence. The changing sides of the gun when you look the other sides makes it uncomfortable to shoot enemies that are above or below. Indeed a top down mouse shooter randomly generated game isn't a new thing or combination of genres but the game itself is fun and super cool.
This game is great and the graphics are amazing! Great job!

Well, weird creepy game, in a good way. Wait! Are those worms and guns from Nuclear Throne???

@dragojt I've checked it myself now that you've mentioned. I admit they do look somewhat familiar, mainly because of the style. However, you can follow the process of creating my art on twitch's videos :) https://www.twitch.tv/mak3c/videos/all

Really fun. The mood like Doom2 :). I am slowly and accuracy clean the level. I am hope to find BFG..
Haha this was fun. I liked that you could shoot through walls! I liked the graphics and sounds too. Great job!
Getting some Nuclear Throne vibes here, especially with the revolver and the worms (although I could tell they are slightly different). The gory aesthetics and the eerie music go together really well and create a nice atmosphere. The destructible terrain is cool, although I'd rather see the characters digging thru rather than just shooting through it. (Then again, that could get tedious).
Gripes/suggestions/nitpicks (take this with a grain of salt as the game seems overscoped as is - you've done a lot for just 3 days): * meatier/bassier sounds (especially gunshots) * the shotty shoots just 1 pellet? That's not very satisfying * the green goo-shots should probably dissappear when the player gets hit by them * where player shoots and the cursor seem to be offset by the gun position (so I'd assume the cursor should be offset by what the gun nozzle is offset from the center of the character)
BTW. What are the mixed/combined genres?

@secretpocketcat Thanks for the feedback. Never played Nuclear Throne though :) The genres are listed in the description: arcade + procedural generation
A lot of variety in this shooter, lots of different beasts and things! It was cool that you could break walls, too.

Alright. Sorry I had to take a moment to process how the game is so well polished and there's so much game when we only had 72 hours. I can barely clean my apartment in that time but I digress. I am not a fan of these kind of games (Isaac / Hotline Miami) so the controls were a little difficult for me to get used to, specifically switching sides made it seem like the gun had a bit of a spread issue. Outside of that however, the game was great. Lots of variety and lots of content, very strong graphics/style and music. I know Binding of Isaac is a psuedo-horror game (uncomfortable game?) and so was this. There's probably room to explore and expand the plot.
My record was 4026 - Hahahaha
Very fun game, I really enjoyed the gameplay and the art is very good!
Congratulations for the game!
If possible, check out my participation at this link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/type-hero-adventures
Interesting concept for an arcade game, had a fair bit of fun initially but found it slightly difficult to feel pro-[duck](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/motherducker)-tive without more direction (saw you're gonna add bosses which could solve this well enough). Not sure if you ever played the old Motherload flash game, but it could be neat to add the sort of lvls or areas to the map. This would probably add quite a bit of work but if you're planning on running with this game it could add a lot of increased play-ability through more monsters, maybe different blocks, bonuses or weapons etc. Nice game guys!
The art was looking good and well made. I like the wall breaking feature, was fun to be able to shoot through everything
