LD38 — A Small World

A Cage of Love by Quetzakol 2017-05-06T20:39:27Z

Player movement was could have been faster, but I liked the designs of the characters, very cute! It was a neat take on the theme, too. Nice entry, good job!

Insect Attack by SimplePotential 2017-05-06T20:55:19Z

Pretty good for such a short time. I recommend varying the pitch of the spray sound next time as it can get quite harsh.

Chill Bill by drtizzle 2017-05-06T20:12:45Z

This felt very polished for a game jam game, nice job! The art was really nice, and the audio was a good fit. It was a good take on the theme, too.

Ruler of Survival by Flying Cat of the Pepes 2017-05-06T20:00:58Z

This was a neat idea. I didn't last very long :P

S P A C E C H U N K by nonameghost 2017-05-06T21:06:17Z

A neat concept! It was annoying that typing isn't differentiated with movement, and also when entering a command the text box loses focus. Other than that, the graphics were pleasant. This was a cool entry.

Fish Stacker Pro by waynetron 2017-05-06T20:06:24Z

This was a lot of fun! The visuals were nice and simple. I think it would make a nice mobile game, great entry!

Cat In Line by dragseal 2017-05-06T19:50:11Z

This was pretty hard. The animations were cute, nice job!

Planet Bash by killerkun 2017-05-06T19:34:10Z

Smashing into the planet is a lot of fun, and as many have said before, quite satisfying. I really like the art, too. Nice job!

Fish Tank Simulator by PatrickD3121 2017-05-06T20:21:12Z

Jeez, some of these fish are violent! The art's pretty nice, but there's not much to do. Dialog bubbles popping up over each other can be troublesome and sometimes I lost which fish I was. Not bad for a first entry though, nice job (:

LD38 - A small world by wobbleboxx 2017-05-06T20:48:10Z

I really liked the light colours used in this game. I think it would have been a little nice if the cursor was a little spaceship, or something. It's a nice entry, good job (:

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Piggybank Farmer Tycoon by LittleLegend 2017-12-06T23:43:48Z

My strategy was to keep spawning coins in the middle to keep all the piggies together (:

The music was really nice, I liked the dramatic bit.

One thing is I couldn't click Yes or No for playing again. Seem like it was registering my clicks as placing coins.

LD42 — Running out of space

Words Dancer by Ango 2018-08-15T00:40:11Z

I liked the concept of this a lot, nice job!

I think one life might be too harsh, though. Maybe a three life level system would be nice.

Teleporting back to my shadow is a neat touch.

Overall this was a cool LD entry

Escape from The Alliance by Jimbly 2018-08-14T23:36:10Z

This was pretty cool. Definitely gives off some FTL vibes.

The art style is nice too.

I had fun

An impressive entry for 48 hours!

Anti-Automata by thegunmaster 2018-08-14T16:19:26Z

This was pretty cool, and I liked the art style. It had some satisfying little touches, like the screen shake.

Destroying a bunch of the green cells is also super satisfying.

Shooting was a bit difficult, though.

Overall nice job!

Spacetime Landlord Tycoon by mechanicallife 2018-08-14T23:45:46Z

It'a a pretty neat idea, and I liked the art style.

It took me a little while to understand how to do some things, like the scheduler.

But it was a cool game jam game.

Legacy by gil4 2018-08-15T00:14:57Z

The art style and mood are so lovely. I enjoyed the tutorial from the perspective of Dunwo.

Overall a really nice entry for Ludum Dare

Loot Keeper by outstar 2018-08-14T14:43:52Z

I really liked this! Such a cute entry, and a great art style. I liked all the little touches like the shadows.

Having a tutorial is really nice too. I really liked the skull guy.

It was a little tough to tell what was going on in battles, it would be nice if you could see their stats too, like a previous commenter mentioned.

Nice work, guys

Champion Chowdown by Burgee 2018-08-15T01:35:36Z

I love the art style of this game. The UI indicator at the bottom of what I can and can't eat is really nice.

I love me some interactive tutorials too

Awesome entry, great job

The Game Collector by Sebastian-M 2018-08-15T01:15:31Z

This was pretty cool, it was satisfying to stack the consoles.

My high score was 1158 and I got to gen 7. That Wii console was my downfall :sob:

I liked the music, and the zoom out at the end to see my final stack was a nice touch.

Great job!

Chill Daddy by guilhermesouza 2018-08-14T14:58:19Z

Father bear and son reunited! :tada:

I really liked the intro comic.

Game play was simple and easy to pick up, so it was pretty easy to beat. I never really felt like I was running out of space, since my little ice platform lasted for quite a while. Maybe it could have decreased faster?

And like others have said, it was a bit tough to figure out where the sharks were biting from, so it came down to hitting each of the arrow keys to whack them sometimes :shark:

But overall it was a fun entry to play, I liked the transitions of the background from start to finish. It really made me feel like the bear traveled a long way to find his son.

Minokami by JuanJ7 2018-08-15T00:22:11Z

I liked this, it was fun to play. It would've been nicer with some audio, though.

Jumping near objects felt a little wonky.

I was winning until I got trapped underneath a bunch of crates :P

Space Out by Pusakiller 2018-08-14T14:27:06Z

The controls are a little bit clunky, but I like the concept. One thing that might've helped with that is holding space to keep performing my chosen action rather than pressing it each time.

An undo button might be a good idea too, so I don't have to restart the whole level.

Some of the text was a little bit hard to read, but I liked the overall style.

I really liked the jump animations

Overall nice job :tada:

ShortServe by G4MR 2018-08-15T01:23:25Z

This was pretty nice. I liked the clean look of the UI.

It definitely does get hectic if you let those items pile up.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but it might be nice if when a new dish pops up it doesn't just appear, but the plate gets a light highlight or something for a second.

Overall this was a really nice game jam game, good job

Space Jack by neurobomber 2018-08-15T00:28:39Z

It's a neat idea.

I wasn't sure what was happening sometimes when I would drag an item over to a worker and it would disappear, but I didn't get a heart. Turns out I wasn't quite hovering over them, so the item got lost. Some feedback on there would be good.

But overall I liked it, nice job!

The Coming of the Great Colorful Handkerchief by mosaic 2018-08-14T15:09:57Z

I liked all the little ship and planet icons, and it was really satisfying to destroy them. It made a good sound effect.

The surrounding colourful noise type graphic was kind of hard on the eyes though. The upgrade menu was a little hard to see, too. Probably would've been nicer if they were darker, or had some sort of backing.

The receding boarder effect was nice too.

Nice entry!

I'm from outer space by N00ByPaPa 2018-08-14T16:14:32Z

This was pretty neat and I liked the graphics a lot.

I had trouble using the upgrades, though.

Smooshing those little guys was very satisfying, and definitely would've been better with sound.

Nice job!

Hunting Grounds by r3nrohan 2018-08-15T00:48:22Z

It felt a little slow, maybe speed up wait time a little.

Sound would've been nice too, but I know that's not always possible for LD games (:

The art style was very nice.

Nice job!

The Gentle Giant by Red Pill 2018-08-15T00:57:15Z

I know I was _supposed_ to avoid crushing houses, but I really liked the destruction effects so it was very tempting.

I laughed like a maniac the first few minutes I was playing, because it took me a little bit to understand the controls and I kept squishing those poor villagers.

That was a nice entry, good job

Monkey Beat by Zangold 2018-08-15T00:36:06Z

It was pretty tough, and I think feedback when hitting notes could be better. Even when I hit a note it wasn't very satisfying, which is a big thing for rhythm games in my opinion.

I don't think this had anything to do with the theme, which is too bad.

When I lost, I expected the audience to really tear into me, since it said they would get really mad :P

The art style was cute, and the UI was simple and clean

Filled to the Brim by REMCO GAMES 2018-08-14T23:52:43Z

I liked the concept, but it's pretty buggy. It should probably cap at 0 and not tell me I've won with a negative score :P

Like others have said, it would have been cool to have different sized glasses and things like that.

Otherwise, nice job!

Little Planet by PlanetGames 2018-08-15T00:01:19Z

This was very cute. I loved the graphics, particularly the little planet and the twinkling stars :stars:

The music was very fitting, too.

A nice, solid entry that fits the theme well. Good job!

We are running out of Space Janitors by DUandI 2018-08-15T00:06:36Z

The animations were very cute and the overall art style was nice too. I love the UI design.

When dying, the screen animation is pretty jarring, though.

Overall great entry, nice job.

LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Fix by harark 2018-12-07T00:09:57Z

This was a pretty cool idea. Took me a bit to get the hang of it though, so maybe a tutorial or explanation up front would've helped.

Nice entry!

Santaur's Elf Cola by tweedle 2018-12-07T00:16:14Z

The graphics and the audio were nice. I enjoyed the cheery atmosphere as I destroy some elves. One thing I found myself doing a lot was trying to click the traps versus using the num keys.

Overall a well polished entry, good job!

Rude Bear Responsibility by alexrose 2018-12-07T01:18:04Z

"MAKE SURE YOU DON'T SACRIFICE MY SON.txt"

Haha, that's one way to get me to read a README.txt

"Make sure you don't sacrifice my son" so I immediately sell him for briefcase full of meat.

This is hilarious.

The invisible walls were a little bit jarring, though.

That was fun to play, good job!

Demon Rabbit Solitaire by eva 2018-12-06T23:47:12Z

Nice and simple, but quite challenging. I really liked it, nice job

It would've been nice to be able to unselect the cards (in case I accidentally clicked one), but that's very minor.

The overall look of the game was very nice as well.

Out of Frequency by Blizary 2018-12-06T23:08:53Z

The graphics were really nice and I liked the overall idea. The ship debris was a nice touch!

I especially liked the ship change over time as your lost thrusters.

Nice job!

Nature is Harsh by hav24 2018-12-06T23:39:34Z

Great entry. The theme fits really well, and I just love the nice touch of the gravestones after each level. Poor monkeys

Lucky Number 13 by Simon Rahnasto 2018-12-07T00:59:04Z

I really liked all the little things, like the footprints, the reflections, the chairs, etc.

The voice acting is really, really nice too. It was nice that I could listen to the clips but still go on playing.

Great job, guys!

Rift Plugger by Mikeliosus 2018-12-07T00:23:41Z

The art style is so nice and pleasant. I really liked the animations too, very cute.

Like others I was a little confused on how to play at first but eventually I got it. Great job!

I Am Bird by Acr515 2018-12-07T00:44:28Z

I had a lot of fun flying around and taking stuff out with my bird buddy armada. The formation the flock flies in as you gather more birds is a nice touch. My final score was only 14560, but I had fun!

Great job

Omitl by Rkuhl 2018-12-07T01:04:12Z

I liked this, I thought it was pretty cute. I had a good time bashing skeletons.

Nice job!

Missing Parts by radow 2018-12-06T23:21:58Z

That was great, nice job. It fit the theme really well and I liked the ending. The only thing I had problems with was at the beginning I didn't know I could use pieces of the robot to fix things right away.

Viking Snow Fight by Trevor Hayes 2018-12-07T00:51:43Z

Short and sweet, I liked it  At first I thought my viking buddies were slacking off, but after a bit I understood what they were doing :P

I liked how you fit in the theme, as well. Great job!

Deity Hook-Up (Not A Romance) by ynneblack 2018-12-07T00:01:59Z

This was fun, I really enjoyed playing it. I liked the different endings, and got the blessed ending pretty quickly. I replied it a couple of times to see the different endings.

Nice job!

Chicken Town by ElderDeveloper 2018-12-07T00:31:19Z

This was a funny idea for a game. I liked that each chicken had a name, made the choice a little harder :P

It might be me, but I found the text a little hard to read.

Overall great job!

LD46 — Keep it alive

Rude Bear Gotchi by alexrose 2020-04-25T15:20:51Z

This is a super cool take on the theme. I audibly gasped when I killed my first bear :(

Great job!

Get Away From My Human by hectorid 2020-04-25T14:22:04Z

The art was very nice and I like how you implemented the theme. I love the animations.

Audio would have really tied the whole thing together. Just the right amount of humour.

Hive Mind by whycardboard 2020-04-25T15:26:56Z

The difficulty ramps up pretty fast, but otherwise the game play is solid. The music set the mood perfectly and the art was gorgeous, nice job!

Bestseller by Roboimuri 2020-04-25T14:30:17Z

This was a very well put together game. All the elements complimented each other nicely.

It was difficult, but not too difficult that I still wanted to try to publish the book.

Keep the Love Alive by notapixelstudio 2020-04-25T14:54:48Z

A really lovely take on the theme, well done.

We had a little trouble with the controls at first (we swapped our jump keys!) but otherwise it was a pretty smooth experience. The aesthetic was really nice too :)

MyTube by backurio 2020-04-25T15:39:37Z

Very cool concept, took me about 8 minutes to win. The sort of screen effect really started to hurt my eyes after a while, though. But overall the graphics are on point.

A really well put together game jam, great job!

Space Ranger by LuCecyl 2020-04-25T15:10:58Z

I really liked the planet design. It's easy to last forever in this game by just constantly shooting. Something like a cool down, or just increasing the amount of enemies over time might help that.

But overall it's a good entry, nice job!

hype dream by Dane Tesla 2020-04-25T14:44:36Z

A really cool take on the theme, great job!

This was stressful but I got the hang of it pretty quickly.

 for an in game tutorial :)

Apple Panick by peterfiftyfour 2020-04-25T15:04:09Z

I loved controlling the little apple man and growing my little offerings. I had some trouble with watering, but overall everything was easy to control.

I did end up making the ultimate sacrifice in the end :sob:

Great job!

TreaTrees by RhinoFreak 2020-04-25T14:16:28Z

I really liked this. I love the subtle animations and how the environment changes over time.

The music fits the mood really well, too.

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Dodge the Doge by LucasMolina 2020-10-11T15:02:31Z

I didn't really get the connection to the theme, but overall I enjoyed playing it.

Not having any boundaries around the screen was a little weird, but it was kind of hilarious having the dog suddenly shoot back into view from somewhere off screen.

I liked the difficulty ramp up and it was pretty satisfying getting the dog to run into the enemies.

HamStuck by Tommy 2020-10-11T16:42:38Z

I audibly gasped when I killed the little guy. Nice take on the theme!

Sock Mates by cptdustmite 2020-10-11T16:30:48Z

This is a cute concept and take on the theme, but I had trouble controlling the sock.

Ticket to Loop by Rost 2020-10-11T15:44:27Z

I liked the aesthetic and overall feel (though the game over screen was a little jarring). I liked the audio, especially when you take down an enemy. I think that maybe it starts of a little too strong with the amount of enemies, though. But overall, nice job!

EXIT CODE 0 by Silvae 2020-10-11T15:19:26Z

This was a solid entry, nice job.

I like how clean everything looked and enjoyed the looping aspect.

Degrimer by Beebo Studios 2020-10-11T15:28:13Z

This was a cool take on the theme, nice job. I liked the aesthetic a lot, especially the transparent part so that you can see the rest of the laundry room. For me, it would've been nicer if the play area was a bit smaller. It was sometimes difficult to see what was going on.

Just Another Day by WongKongPhooey 2020-10-11T15:54:26Z

I had fun and was enjoying the story each day. It ended a little abruptly, but I understand that considering this is a game jam. Nice job!

Programmer Nightmare by Cary Stanley 2020-10-11T16:03:45Z

I liked the humour in this game a lot and really enjoyed the interactions with the characters. Great job!

Ay2 by Mustiman 2020-10-11T15:35:11Z

I really liked the art style, though it was a little bit difficult to differentiate between drops and asteroids. Like others, I wasn't really sure I had much influence on the game (except for when I'd send a poor kitty crashing head first into the moon). The music was a lot of fun and I liked your take on the theme

Orbeatz by PastelGames 2020-10-11T16:13:29Z

The circular track was a cool take on the theme. Nice job!

Energy Flow by LuckyLuke47 2020-10-11T16:26:37Z

This was a really neat take on the theme, nice job!

Life Loop by Alexunz 2020-10-11T16:18:14Z

The music was so pleasant to listen to. I really liked the little head bob of the other employees, too.

Escape from House by alexplisov 2020-10-11T15:08:24Z

I liked the concept a lot. There was good tension too, especially when the impending doom music started up. Nice entry!

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Neckdeep by dude_the_hero 2021-04-28T14:49:38Z

I can't tell you how much I adored playing this. Thank you so much for allowing copy paste functionality as well, much appreciated :stuck_out_tongue:

Fantastic job!

Dive for fish! by imyellowfish 2021-04-28T13:40:17Z

The controls were a little bit awkward but overall I really liked the take on the theme. Well done!

Mr. & Ms. Deeper: Descent to Inner Depth by SIGILL 2021-04-27T15:05:44Z

A pretty solid entry. I liked the switching between players puzzle aspect and overall story.

Good job!

The plot chickens by JPiolho 2021-04-28T14:23:08Z

That was a wild ride, I enjoyed this very much. Very charming and a great LD entry.

Beebook - Beat the Feed by Beebo Studios 2021-04-28T13:55:48Z

I really liked your take on the theme here, and the visuals were fantastic.

I agree with other commenters that it would have been nice to get some feedback when I didn't press the buttons correctly.

Great job overall, though!

Deeper & Deeper Research Ltd. by itsonrandom 2021-04-28T14:31:20Z

I also ran into the bug with the door and buttons mentioned above.

This had pretty nice visuals and I liked the concept.

Nice job!

The New Rat King by Bajtix 2021-04-27T14:45:31Z

I really liked this mechanic, it was a lot of fun.

I did run into some fun bugs after restarting the level, though :)

The New Rat King by Bajtix 2021-04-28T11:02:25Z

@bajtix Yup, it was on level reload after pressing the R key.

Derelict Dive by tetrapteryx 2021-04-28T14:04:21Z

I won! Loved this entry, very short and sweet. It was so pretty and calming.

I got a little bit confused every time I grabbed an oxygen tank at the beginning because I didn't notice that the oxygen bar increased, but that's my fault for not reading the description properly.

Great job!

Dongeons & Potions by Revetoon 2021-04-27T15:16:58Z

This was a great entry. I really loved all the little touches, like being able to push books off their shelves.

Out of the Woods by Croxel Studios 2021-04-27T14:54:41Z

Overall I liked this game. The art was pretty and the mood was really fitting.

Once you had a bird, I felt it was a bit too difficult to get it back to a birdhouse, though. Not sure if walk speed is less once you have a bird, but it felt like it.

Great job though!

Chippy Picker by Javid Ladhani 2021-04-27T15:30:57Z

Great entry, I really didn't expect it to keep going after the chip bag part and was surprised. I like a lot of the little details, like the chips getting attached to the hand.

Nice take on the theme, great job!

Debts and Pandamonium by Cyzaine 2021-04-28T13:50:23Z

I also couldn't get the web version to load (on Chrome). The Windows build was fine, though.

I liked the concept and mood a lot, nice job overall.

CAELUM CORE by inertiaa 2021-04-28T15:07:12Z

Collision can be a little bit funny sometimes (I could clip through walls when I was small) but overall a nice jam experience. As others have mentioned its quite a pretty game, too.

Drill Down by parqueson 2021-04-28T14:27:06Z

The music was a little bit unsettling but overall this was a good entry. Nice job

Lucifer's doom by TescoOne 2021-04-28T15:00:44Z

A little clunky but overall a nice entry! I liked the look of it a lot.

I agree with the comments left above as well about some of the tweaks that would add a lot, so I won't reiterate them. Great job overall!

Defiled Reflection by BidentWorks 2021-04-28T14:57:47Z

This was a cool entry and I liked the atmosphere it had.

Not game breaking, but seems like there's a small bug of the death animation playing twice. Once when I die for real, and then once when I load back to the starting position.

Overall great job!

Jungle Navigator by lemonsaurus 2021-04-27T14:59:55Z

I loved this, the dialog was pretty amusing.

One thing that would be nice would be a way to skip dialog you've already read.

Otherwise, great job!

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Bloody Battle by dib 2018-05-01T23:06:17Z

I liked the art style and the audio. Really pleasant to play (:

Super Fun Action Chess by seano 2018-05-01T22:08:08Z

Really great entry, quite enjoyable. :)

Funk Escape by Rolle 2018-05-01T23:15:56Z

Like others have said, it's very difficult. But it's a cool take on the theme!

Zumaster by infinitycore 2018-05-01T22:59:10Z

This was a cool idea, and lots of possibilities to expand it, too. Nice job!

Sky Serpent Paint by Tuomo 2018-05-01T22:26:41Z

Took me a little while to get used to the controls, but I got the hang of it eventually. Neat idea and a nice entry!

Hit the Green! by Azathothep 2018-05-01T22:46:32Z

The first time I tried to take a swing at the ball I was pleasantly surprised. I really liked this take on the theme, nice job!

Snail and Salt by Kaiomoi 2018-05-01T22:52:38Z

I liked the idea of this. Took me a second to figure out how to play, but I figured it out pretty fast. With that in mind an instructions screen or something would've been good, but I know that's not always possible in a game jam (:

Nice job!

Of tennis and moustaches. by FranVadillo 2018-05-01T23:12:37Z

I am so bad at tennis. But this was a fun idea! I really liked the solid thwack noise when connecting with the ball.

Last Stand. [Web Play] by Darkwing00Duck 2018-05-01T22:18:14Z

Really great take on the theme. I enjoyed that the themes were actually at odds with each other, and that if you were shooting two well, your barricades would build up to much and such. Overall great job. :)
