I loved this! the idea is unique, the sound design is amazing, and everything is just so good. One little thing though if you can teach the player how to play that would be fantastic because it took me a while to figure it out.
Overall I liked this game. The art was pretty and the mood was really fitting.
Once you had a bird, I felt it was a bit too difficult to get it back to a birdhouse, though. Not sure if walk speed is less once you have a bird, but it felt like it.
Great job though!
Very atmospheric, but always restarting from the beginning is too hardcore for me.
