Nice game & graphics. I think I would like the controls better if pick/throw was binded on right mouse button to match the attack.

Loved the graphics! You should keep working like that. I didn't had any problems with the controls. Everything perfect from my point of view
Very cute graphics! Interesting take on the theme, even though it is kinda weird to sacrifice the people you are trying to save ^^. Gameplay is smooth, well done!
@kamen-kitanov, @pelicanodepico, @corbak Thanks, guys!
Love the Graphics, good level design, the black one really scared me hh
Nice concept, and the art looks nice! The controls felt a little clunky for me though, and I had some trouble throwing things into the rifts when I was close to them. The attack also felt kinda slow and not very satisfying. Some of the sound FX were good though!
And, the cutest game of the year award goes to... (:
The dancing deer is one of the best things I've seen so far in this LDJam. Just look at his groove! Art and music for this one are absolutely great, the overall presentation is impressive for a LD entry. Controls were fine for me, but maybe I found it a bit too hard (those flying enemies always end up hitting me!). Congrats on this really solid entry!
Quite nice I love the art style. The combat system is fun too!
Gameplay feels great and really polished! The feedback when attacking is very good and satisfying and just general movement is fun.
Graphics and music are really good too - very good and complete experience.
The graphics are amazing and throwing the deer was really funny ^^ But as @giovannibarrottu said, the controlls feel a little bit clunky. But just a little :)
Cool game :ok_hand:
@sadsmile @assimby @sg-goennung @oceanosaurus @izi @giovannibarrottu @joker-v Thanks for great feedback!
Well made game, I assumed I was to throw dead bodies into the rift, but this did not work
Graphics and audio were fantastic. Really set the mood of the game. The difficulty progression was pretty good. There did seem to be some fickleness in getting things to cover the hole. Several times I got hit because a monster came out of the hole right as I was about to fill it. Overall though, I had fun and this was well made. Good job!
Veeeery nice cute graphics, came here from your post and was not disappointed. The mood is also great and attacking with the shovel is fast and rewarding. The thing I found was that to cover the rifts I needed lots of trial and error, although most of people is not having this issue so... good game! ^-^
The graphics were very nice and the puzzles were pretty good. Naturally the first thing I did was try to plug a hole with a villager, and when it worked, I was like "oh I guess thats the goal." On the second playthrough I found the reindeer lololol.
So yeah, this was really good. I couldnt finish it, unfortunately, but I had a great time.
Love the art and animations, my favorite was the moose thing. I couldn't progress past the first lvl because I could not figure out how to plug the holes with the people/moose thing.
Really Interesting game! Really Nice Art & Sound as well.
@relictooth when you stun moose or villager use "Space" to pick them up and "Space" to throw, aiming is done with the mouse We seem to have issues with WebGL build as it was done last second maybe that was the cause. I am sure it will work in regular windows build. Thanks for feedback.
Very nice graphics! I like that style very much! The game is cool! I like your level design! I didn't know how to play properly at the beginning (first level) but then it was cool. The black, cucumber-like enemies match to the colors of the levels and they are harder to spot which is perfect! The yellow blob is also very nice that we need to run away from it!
Sometimes sacrifice object couldn't fit into the hole and I needed to throw them many times until they fitted. That caused I lost some lives. I think it would be better to have one constant speed of throwing, but it is only my suggestion. :)
I'll come to play again! :D
It took a bit of time to understand how it works to fill the hole because I stood like 1 foot away from it but after I stepped back a bit it worked like a charm! Great game, neat graphics, nice mechanic! Very well done guys
The art style is so nice and pleasant. I really liked the animations too, very cute.
Like others I was a little confused on how to play at first but eventually I got it. Great job!
Nice art. When playing the game with a slow approach it is a bit tedious and not too challanging (althought it might be my fault for choosing? such a palystyle). Is there any downside to sacrificing Villigers?
Loved it! Art style reminded me a lot of something from Tim Burton, like Nightmare Before Christmas. The music and sound matched worked perfectly with the dreadful setting you guys went with. The little main character was also fun to play as!
I would definitely like to see some more of the world expanded on, as it looks so interesting. If you threw in some plot or more story-driven gameplay it would be awesome, if you end up working on the project more later. Great work!
@lucidus @smeax @mandarad Thanks guys for your feedback! Yep, we have a bug related to throwing objects into the rift when you close to it :) @radow If you complete game without sacrificing villagers - you will have another end game screen, and, thats all! :) Thanks for your feedback! @sodaraptor We think about that :) Thanks for feedback!
@mumboo Clever idea with the hidden ending!
Very nice game! The mood is amazing, and the gameplay is very fun! Congratulations
Nice game, good graphics, and interesting concept relevant to the theme of the jam. Good gameplay
The art is very good, I like the music, gameplay is fun but like others have noticed if you throw bodies at a close distance they wont fill the hole, also maybe the player should be invulnerable to attack for a little while after hit cause he goes down pretty quickly. Good work.
Idea of the game is great, suits nicely with the theme! I love the art and music a lot!

I really liked the presentation in this one! The way the rifts and the player standout against the grayscale environment really brings attention to the most important game elements as you search the landscape for other villagers, reindeers and boulders to fill in the rifts. The sound also fitted really well with the environment and the sound effects were really nice as well (although the main character's scream on death felt a bit out of place with everything else). Gameplay while not really innovative, did accomplish what it meant to do, despite the issues with throwing some stuff into the rifts like other comments have pointed out.
Unfortunately what broke the game for me a bit was the flow of it. I was really enjoying myself in the early levels and felt really compelled by the games pitch and mechanics but the later levels didn't fell as solid as the first ones and ended up breaking the feeling of flow I had in in the earlier levels. I feel like introducing the new enemies and hazards in more but smaller levels would have kept me on the flow state, but by the current 5th level with the whole following and brain(?)-spitting enemies with the increasing number of rifts while keeping the same health was already a bit too much for me.
I also feel like your idea for the theme didn't exactly stick to me. I did notice there were some heart doors that demanded a heart sacrifice if you wanted to get through them, but they didn't feel like they were a _must_ and were more of a quick-way to get some stuff if you wanted to get the level done easier/faster.
Other than that, I do think that the game was really solid in terms of gameplay, but could have definitely used some different pacing. On [behalf of our team](https://discord.whalesandgames.com), thank you for this game, and I hope to see more games with such stellar presentation from you people! Cheers! :whale:
Neat graphics! I included it in my compilation video series of games from the Ludum Dare, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/RJjn8MPNuQ4
