Very interesting concept! Sounds feel a bit out of sync. GJ!
This is a very interesting concept, a sort of trial and explore? Maybe it needs a little bit of confrontation (like if you got a partner you have to defeat them in an argument randomly) to contrast with the overall calm feeling. (Nice music btw)
i was very fun. I liked it. But i felt like i didnt have enogh time for everything, and i died very quick
You have my 5 just for making a platformer :)) Auto climbing works well. The music gave me so much chill. I just couldnt stop listening to these calm , soft tunes. The main character looks pleased as well
interesting concept, soothing mood with alot of stress
The game feel and audio on this game was very excellent and really enticed me to keep playing. I wanted to unlock all the options but to had to keep feeding the beast which kind of took away of the fun in my opinion. definitely one of the better entries I've played!
Great music and neat graphics. I enjoyed it thoroughly :P
The controls would be better if you can also move with the arrow keys because you used "spacebar" for jumping. Regardless, it's alright, I also like how you automatically climb platforms that are one block away from above. Music is soothingly pleasing.
This is one of those games that just deserve the full 5 start rating. Congrats on this marvelous masterpiece.
double congrats on the music. <3
Thank you for this game!
I'm having a lot of fun seeing Construct 2 games! I've started learning the program myself, and it's great to see what can be accomplished with a drag & drop system. Audio was great, and I'd like to see a post-jam version of this game/art!
I didn't quite get the game, I guess it should have a better way of showing the player what is the goal. When I died at first I had no ideia why. Also, arrows should work, and W/UP should jump instead of spacebar. The fact that the jump button is the same that the "interaction" button was also annoying to me. I liked the music, the graphic is good too. Keep going guys.
The game was very interesting and a cool exploration game, and the music was nice. However, I felt like the theme was more of a hinderance, as it was annoying to have to feed the beast. All in all, however, it's a cool game with a uniquely interesting progression loop. Good job!
There are some very nice features in this game. Somehow it kept me playing out of interest, but for most things, it took me a while to figure out what I was doing and why. (but hey, that also sais something about me ;) )
I didn't understand what I was doing at all, the camera was very shaky also... other than that I liked the exploration esc, and the art, but when I just "lost for no reason about 'the beast'" I didn't know what I was supposed to do...
Deep game. Much Love to the creators!
I'm kind lost on this game, i don't get what i'm supposed to do here. I gave all my coins to something which said i would discover something about myself but i discovered nothing. I like the graphics and the music, and the mystery in the game, but there are a lot of little flaws that should be fixed:
There is usually a ceiling directly above the place where you should jump, which makes platforming difficult. Also sometimes when i'm trying to jump by using space, the game decides that instead of trying to jump for the coin above me, i wanted to interact with the thing near me.
Camera movement makes me dizzy, platforming is difficult in this game so i will have to try the jump many times, which means i will be pressing A and D a lot when i'm moving around, but everytime i change the direction of my movement, the camera moves a lot. Also the blackholes cause large weird camera shake.
Just fix those, and it could be a very interesting game!
Wow I love the concept so much. There is huge potential here to flesh this out into something very deep. This is the best use of the theme I've seen so far
Very beautiful graphics, especially with the improvement of the flower. Great sounds! Very good game !
Hi fellow C2 users! Such a great entry!! The theme was on point!!
This was a pretty cool idea. Took me a bit to get the hang of it though, so maybe a tutorial or explanation up front would've helped.
Nice entry!
It was not immediately clear what to do, but i could understand it all after a minute. I really enjoyed the mood brought by the music and had the incentive to invest in it. From what i understood, some upgrades are only cosmetic - this is interesting in some way, but they are not really an option when i could have a double jump instead. The invest screen was a bit confusing first, as i could not figure out how to leave, but i eventually found it. What i really like is the idea of sacrificing graphics or mood for gameplay reasons. It would be interesting if this will lead players to go for cosmetics too. I got no understanding how the dragon works - i think it will eventually end the game if i do not feed the coins. But i can't see when this will happen, so i have no sense of how urgent it is.
Overall, i really like it, it was very pleasant :)
Very nice game! I disagree with lots of folks about the need for a tutorial - made sense to me and i enjoyed the process of discovery. Good way of turning the theme into an anticapitalist game lol :) I especially like the audio!
Interesting idea and a nice big map to explore, though I couldn't figure out what a lot of the upgrades did. Investing in career and physical were pretty obvious, though investing in pets/music/environment did to help and I couldn't figure out the win condition. Still, nice platformer, and nice investment interface
