I don't get it, what's the goal? Graphics and mood are nice, i think i'm just supposed to put the food in the dude's mouth, and i can rip his skin off and touch his eyes. Looks cool, but it's not that fun, as there are no goals, and the gameplay is a bit boring and slow, and controls can be tedious

Very interesting concept - very similar to mine, check it out: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/45/vaahtera ! Gameplay was innovative and clearly a lot of effort was put to the tree growth mechanics and it shows! Nice graphics and audio. My only gripe with this game, is that sometimes, controlling the tree is very difficult, it seems to have a mind of it's own at times. Also, It's sometimes unclear, what parts of the tree are falling off, and how to prevent that, so I would suggest looking at fixing those two things and it will be an even more awesome game! Also- a bug I noticed: At one point, all of my tree died, and I couldn't even try to finish the level, as there was no point left to grow from. Anyway, a really cool and fun game with a great atmosphere!
Ludum Dare 45 by Trypants 2019-10-07T10:17:18Z ♥ 1
This game has an interesting concept, and cool graphics and sound design. It seems tho, that the music doesn't loop, so that should be fixed. The movement system is super confusing, maybe movement should work on clicking on tiles instead. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do in the game, but it sure has potential. The game seems a bit unfinished though, as there is no guide, and at one point I lost control of my character, and he just flew off screen, which I think is because I lost, but not sure why I lost and I wasn't told that I lost.
You Start With Nothing - Ludum Dare 45 Game by HappySnake 2019-10-07T10:02:08Z ♥ 1
First of all, the title could be a bit more original :D. Nice and atmospheric graphics and sound design, although the quality of the graphics is variable, for example, the player's hand look bad, but the environment looks nice. I like the exploration elements, although I am confused on what I'm supposed to eat. I think the items should have icons, so you know what a sap might look like, so they would be easier to find, and would avoid confusion. I do agree, that the player gets cold a bit too fast. Also, if the terrain wasn't flat, the game world would be a lot more immersive½
Emoji Overflow by laegoose 2019-10-07T09:51:11Z ♥ 1
Very innovative idea and great implementation! Graphics and sound design are excellent. First I noticed that clicking on the emoji's is a bit unresponsive at times, It would make the game more fun in my opinion, if the emoji's were a bit larger (I didn't play on fullscreen, maybe that's why I had problems). The strategy elements are nice, but I would like to have more liberty in what I buy, as the available items seem to cycle. Also, I think you should have more HP, to make the game more fun and intense. Also, I noticed, that you only die, once the emoji is completely inside telegram, but it might make more sense, if you would die, once the emoji collides with telegram.
No Room to Move by Thoof 2019-10-07T09:45:03Z ♥ 1
The music and sound effects are great and fit the game. Graphics are good and clear, but even though this game's art styles differs a lot from other games, which is good, I think the graphical style doesn't exactly fit the gameplay, maybe you should play around with different graphical styles, If you are thinking of continuing the development of the game. This game has a lot of potential :D What I really liked about this game, is that the gameplay mechanics here were new for me, but still they were easy and quick to learn.
Welcome to Nowhere by AdroitConceptions 2019-10-06T23:34:14Z ♥ 1
I like the concept of gathering abilities in the levels, and I think you should expand on that and add new abilities to find, of which some would be very hidden and powerful. Controls are mostly fine, but lining up some jumps is difficult, because you can't control the jump's height. Graphics are clear, and music is, well interesting :D, but it gives it a different and distinctive feeling.
Witch's Cauldron by Kazatan 2019-10-06T23:28:32Z ♥ 2
I also thought that the page wasn't loading, but it just took some time for the Unity logo to appear. First off, the camera shakes a bit too much when the witch does sharp turns at such a speed. The witch's controls are also a bit weird to handle. Actually the witch's movement is the biggest problem in this game, just slowing her down a bit would help a lot. I liked the enemies' AI and design, but the world could be a bit more decorated. Anyway, I liked the potion making process, but perhaps exploration could be incentivised.
Start With Rain by Piturnah 2019-10-06T23:21:46Z ♥ 1
I really liked the mysterious Arabian atmosphere this game has, with it's tribesmen and deserts and atmospheric music. I found myself playing this longer than I expected, but I would suggest, that because this is a clicker game for PC, that instead of tediously clicking with the mouse, you could use a keyboard key. The procedurally generated desert is also interesting.
The Lucky Nugget by Julien Kuhn 2019-10-06T23:15:20Z ♥ 1
The game has a funny atmosphere, and the banjo music really helps that feeling! Graphics could be better. Gameplay is easy to understand, and can keep the player interested, but maybe some more features, like the tavern should be added to make the gameplay more varied. One complaint I have, is that the amount of gold you have is rounded, when it is in the thousands. This becomes a problem when trying to buy a pickaxe, that requires 1.5k gold, but you only know when you have 1k or 2k...
Marooned by whooshy 2019-10-06T23:09:49Z ♥ 1
Graphics are great and vibrant, and the sound design is good too. The island seems to be procedurally generated, and is fun to explore. Unfortunately, right now it seems I can't progress in the game, as I can't gather resources, so I guess that's a bug. Anyway, my first impression was positive! :D

Great sound design, striking graphics and art style, and an amazing atmosphere. Controls are easy to understand and innovative, as are the mechanics. However, I'm not sure if I have understood the point of the game. I think that the player is supposed to figure out, what elements to combine. I just clicked the assembler again and again, until the assembler showed me, what to combine, and I think that took some of the fun of figuring it out again. Even then, I think the main gameplay mechanic, combining boxes and discovery of new elements should be expanded upon more, as right now, it doesn't feel that fun, but it has a great mood anyway.
