Cool entry! Clicker games are indeed strong candidate in this one. Good job!

Very Good
I like the idle-clicker idea. I really thought the map filling with water was pretty cool. You should expand this game more!
@twinturbodouche Thank you for the kind words :))
I really liked the mysterious Arabian atmosphere this game has, with it's tribesmen and deserts and atmospheric music. I found myself playing this longer than I expected, but I would suggest, that because this is a clicker game for PC, that instead of tediously clicking with the mouse, you could use a keyboard key. The procedurally generated desert is also interesting.
Nice job. Love the style and music!Annotation 2019-10-06 192546.png
Oops. I think I drowned all the fremen. Nice procedural desert, and the last upgrade made me laugh out loud =). Great job on the music. Getting started was a little painful, but pacing after I was able to stop clicking wasn't too bad.
Also, that seemed to load really quickly for a Unity game, is my internet having a good day, or did the Unity WebGL player get *way* lighter?
Beautiful game! I'm a sucker for clickers and this is a good one.
Why are clicker games so addicting :). Nice music. Great pixel art, I love how the desert gradually gets greener and more water-y. What's a Shai-Hulud, by the way?
@jimbly I'm glad you got the references! Thanks for your review :)
WebGL may be lighter, or it could be also to do with I spent wayyyy too much time yesterday on optimisation. Or both!
@tygrak it's a book reference :) image search "Dune sandworm"
@bobotast @askingquestions I'm glad you guys enjoyed it :))
I like the idea! most clicker games are just numbers, I really like how there's a map that's constantly becoming more and more lush!
My first Jam game was a clicker so I may be a little biased in saying that I really enjoyed this. Most clickers take forever to get anything interesting happening which usually doesn't work out well for a game jam audience, but the desert slowly turning green then blue then to islands then a waterworld actually made it a lot better. Also consider me super jelly of your music skill. I can hardly string together a chord and you are giving off the mood and vibe of a desert. Really good.
Yay, I managed to sink the world xD really nice how you put a little more interactivity there rather than just clicking around, stayed till the end just to see what would happen ahah
Good game! I liked the map filling with water. I think you should have had upgrades to the clicking though, after the first couple of upgrades I just stopped clicking and waited because it was so useless.
Oops i turned the desert into an ocean... this was fun!
me, covering the whole world with water: "HAVE I GONE TOO FAR?!?! Won't somebody think of the TRIBESMEN!?"
(great game.)
@kristinamay You were the chosen one! It was said you would save the tribes, not destroy them!
hahahahahhaa.. I love it... I confess that I had to google for the sand-worm...
Really nice game... congrats... =)
Audio nicely fits the theme.
A great game i liked it
i love idle games! thanks for creating this! well done. nice procedural map and music. I still keep it running ... for minutes now. still waiting for an epic end
I love idle games as well! The style of this game is beautiful, my only complaint is that there is no incentive to clicking after you get enough upgrades, and no end screen, but this is a really good game overall.
Nice little clicker, I liked the art and overall presentation, maybe it could evolve into something more spectacular if other genres brought to the mix.
Cute little clicker, the art style gives me a Shovel Knight vibe! Very clear about how to play, even without needing a tutorial, great game design! Love the fact I'm able to have it running in the background and not have to worry about constantly paying attention. Very well balanced!
Is there an end screen? I need to know it! :D
I liked the game very much, very addicting. Graphics and sound were super awesome. The desert could be a bit more interesting, but that's all I can critique. (Coincidently I'm reading Dune right now)

@simonl I'm glad you liked it! Unfortunately, there is no end screen. I was very time-pressured while making this as I restarted on Saturday afternoon because my original idea was totally rubbish, and for this one I ended up prioritising the overall art and feel and neglected gameplay too much unfortunately. I think your score is the highest I've seen so far!
I totally agree that the end screen is needed, and I was worried players would end up thinking there was more content after the world becomes ocean, and get confused.
Dune is an absolutely fantastic series, I hope you continue with it. Currently I'm partway through reading God Emperor.
@humphreysmedia Thanks for your great feedback :) I'm glad that you found the game intuitive to play, and I am honoured that you would compare the art style to Shovel Knight! This is actually my first time doing any sort of graphics, and I'm super pleased with how it turned out.
Nicely done, but the game overshoots the premise a bit, with everything flooding.
Hey, just to let you know I’ve been making Ludum Dare 45 gameplay videos and I’ve put your game in my video! You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuH6eYQ45lg
