Very fun, the reload mechanic makes it hard but fair. I really like the graphics.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → Users → Tygrak

Very fun, the reload mechanic makes it hard but fair. I really like the graphics.
Nice quick story game. I'd like to know somehow if I picked correctly but maybe that's part of the game.
Awesome game. Got to the second checkpoint after the fiery wall of death and then it was too diffucult for me :D. It is very fun.
I really liked the concept and always enjoyed endless runners. The graphics look nice too. I would have just implemented a score system (unless I missed it).
The game is 30 seconds long, if it was a bit longer it would have potential. Cool music tho.
Really like this game, stopped by the stream for the last hour and was amazed that you have created this in 48 hours.
Awesome game! Played through 3 games of it and would still play more! Awesome replay value.
The game was very difficult for me, but it looks good and has a cool mechanic.
@QwaKlak Sorry you have played the broken old version. If you try the new version everything should work. You interact with objects using E, for example in the first room there is a button with "1" written on it. If you press it, it opens a door next to it.
@tedajax Thank you! Too bad you were one of the first people that played it, now there are even some helpful notes. (also some that dont help at all :D)
@Zeriver Thanks! I saw your notes, seems that everyone enjoyed the one next to the basement.
@mihaivdev Thank you! I have tried creating the game without using any textures to save time and also try out how it looks. I have expected it to look worse :D.
@akai_0okami Thanks, yep that's the number one thing I should fix, leaving notes in walls and in the air (I dont know how you did that though :D).
@Mottafier Thanks. It isnt that hard, I have a really simple php website with a database that saves and downloads the notes and their positions.
Wow the game looks real good! The gameplay has a lot of work to be done and its really short (almost all ld games are), but I have to say the game looks really good.
I have went through like 8 puzzles. I really liked the music. I liked the puzzles but it really bothered me that when I went into the human from the side, it would sometimes kill him instead of just pushing him. Also I dont know why, but a part of the screen was cut off, it didnt affect anything but I noticed it on the level select.
I really liked the music. The puzzles were cool but I dont think the fighting is necessary in a puzzle game. If you think the fighting should still be there, there atleast should be respawn points around the levels.
I liked it and solved it, but I didnt get why the ceasar painting was there. The graphics are awesome!
I really liked the game! It was really chill, the music really helped it! I really loved how it dynamically added the buildings and at one point zoomed out. The day/night cycle looked awesome too! Biggus Dickus is a really dangerous barbarian too, so I am happy my city succesfuly defended from him :D.
I love the graphics and music, but for me it was far too hard to control it (maybe I am just bad at it), so I always died really early.
I think this game would be awesome on mobile phones if you added more levels and challenges. I really liked the graphics. Also I think the spiders in the bottom floor do nothing cause they didnt go for the guy taking the treasure.
I really liked the art style, the animations and the sound effects. The gameplay was good. The controls were a bit wonky but as you said its cause the fixedupdate. It also might have been just me but I couldnt see the arrow things from the enemies on the darker background, but that is just cause I am colorblind probably. Overall I really liked it and beat the boss!
I love the way the gun feels so much, the graphics, the smoke effects, but it is so tiring to reload. Maybe reloading should be automatic but still slow to keep the slow gameplay? I have finished the 2nd boss and really enjoyed it, but I couldnt continue due to the reloading.
The graphics and sounds are pretty awesome, I liked the gameplay but the big log guys are just way too powerful, I always lost to them. The menu screen looks really good too!
I really like the artstyle, I dont really see a room in there, but the artstyle looks awesome! The laser weapon is really satisfying.
I like the graphic style. The farthest I got was to the middle of the level with the spiky drop, it is like really hard, one thing which would be really useful is a fast restart, that would take you to the beginning without the 10 seconds of waiting. By the way what is that font called, it looks really good!
I really like the way how the dude holds the gun! :D It is pretty hard, the longest time I laste is 1:10 cause then the eye dudes started to destroy me. The graphics are really nice! It also might work pretty well on mobile phones.
Cool graphics, awesome post processing, it took me a while to know if the locker goes from 0 or from 1. The way how the red popped is really awesome!
Wow this is really mind bending. This is really an awesome idea! The only thing I would change is the sprite of the player, it kind of doesnt fit the rest of the game. But the concept really is excellent.
I'd really like to try this, but for me the stream is offline.
Some of the people in the room were so accurate. Like the clone game person. I also didnt like the theme that much, certainly didnt vote for it :D, shit happens tho.
The controls are pretty funny :D, I have managed to escape. It really feels like a abandoned ship so thats awesome, smashing into walls and spinning around really captures the feeling of no gravity. I like the low poly graphics too.
Wow this is like really awesome, I like really enjoyed it. You could continue working on this and make it a full game! The only things that would make it even better for me would be the ability to rotate yourself and look around your station, making it not really 2d, but I like it already!
Wooo I did it I escaped! You have a pretty good voice! Also a good sound a effect for the ticking! And common you dont hate math that much do you? :D
Looked at your stream a couple times. I dont really know too mmuch about pinball but it is really fun! Each time I got multiball I have thrown away one of them (or both) like instantly so I am really good at it :). The design of the table looks really good.
@Prospero Yep, if you explore all the rooms you probably would find a way how to get a ending.
@kd7uiy If you press escape, there is a sensitivity slider, is that what you mean?
@oab You have to jump into the portal.
Nice graphics and cool physics :). The sound effect at the end first spooked me and then made me laugh! Good job :D.
This game is really nice and relaxing. I love the artstyle, the music and how it feels overall. The only part that is lacking is the gameplay - but the atmosphere is really nice. It also fits the theme nicely.
Short and sweet! The graphics are nice and most importantly the game is very fun! I dont think thats how the solar system works though :D.
I got 74 and 72 seconds :D, I am pretty bad at clicking. I really like the minimalistic 3 color artstyle. Good job for 9 hours!
I really like the artstyle you used, especially the main character looks really good. There could be a bit more enemy variaty but I really enjoyed the game overall.
This game is very fun! Figuring out the bosses is like a small cool puzzle. Shooting the orb thingys was really difficult for me - it took me like 3 shots to hit everything.
For me the most impressive part is the graphics. The simplistic bosses and the character are nice, but the background really blows me away - it looks so good! Overall I love this game, it also reminds me of Titan Souls which funnily enough is originally a Ludum Dare game too.
The artstyle is awesome! The gameplay is very simple but fun. I think there should be a tutorial added in the beginning but otherwise I really enjoyed your game!
The old school graphics look awesome and the gameplay is very fun too. Even though the combat is very basic it was actually quite difficult and strategic. The design of the enemies is very cute :). The checkpoints were placed in good intervals so it wasnt too frustruating even with only 3 lives.
I like how the game looks, it is awesome considering it is your own engine. The gameplay is a bit confusing but otherwise its good.
The graphics are so good!! The animations so smooth! The dodge roll feels awesome. I love everything.
The only problem is there isnt much to do other then beating more and more enemies. If this became a full scale action platformer I would love it - the character design really is superb.
Really fun, really fast paced. Awesome music, when you get a ton of powerups it feels so good. I also enjoy the simplistic art style. Nice job!
I love the concept of a toroidal world - that must have taken a while to implement. The graphics are awesome and the gameplay is simple but fun.
Nice game. I liked exploring the whole map. Being able to strafe while shooting was pretty cool. Wish there were more types of enemies, but it's of course understandable for compo games :). Good job! (I have no idea how I got to this game, guess I confused 38 with 48 haha.)
Fun and challenging clicker game. I like the graphics. The only complaint I have is that sometimes when I clicked a infected cell and a normal cell was close it clicked the normal.
Wow I really like this, I could see myself playing more of it. It could work really well on a mobile phone too.
The only smally problem I had with the game was how similiar the yellow and green look - I am colorblind so for others it is probably fine, but I cant tell them apart. A good solution would be putting a simple texture on the colors for example.
Overall the game is pretty good, I have finished all the levels and would play more. I didnt know it is kind of easy to get a Nobel prize in medicine :D.
Wow that really was awesome! The graphics looked really nice but mainly - the main concept of a ever changing level works so well here. As others said the jumping felt a bit awkward but otherwise I loved it in almost every way! It really will be a shame if you wont get 20 ratings to get in the ranking.
The game looks so good, I really love the artstyle. Opening card packs is awesome! The fighting mechanics could be a bit more complex but it is fun anyways.
A fun tower defense game with a nice soundtrack and a unexplored concept. A fast forward button would be fun but otherwise I enjoyed it.
Wow I loved this! The graphics were awesome and the shrinking and growing mechanic was very interesting and innovative. Walking around with the biggest size feels so so good. One thing I would tweak is the overall brightness of everything. When I was just looking at the ground I felt like I am staring in the sun - so maybe change the ground to be a bit darker and the sea to be a little bit bluer - but not too much, I love the pastel colors.
I found only 3 coins but overall really enjoyed your game!
A nice fun tower defense game. I really like the concept of having towers on rotating planets. The UI could use some work, but it is a Ludum Dare game. Good job and congrats on your first compo game!
A nice clicker game showcasing the elements of the periodic table - making you brush up on your chemisty :). Nice idea.
Yay I did it! I like the concept. Maybe, the other nations could have their own leaders and then it could become a cool strategy game.
Overall I like it, its fun and thats the most important thing! Good job.
I really loved the music, its so calm and relaxing! The graphics are fine if you replaced the cubes and spheres with some nicer models, but its a LD so there certainly wasnt time for it. There probably also should be a option to autofire, nobody wants to click each time they want to shoot.
Overall I like it, especially the mood.
This is so fun - you have done an awesome job! I am pretty bad at it but I still really enjoyed it.
The music is nice and the art too - the game is awesomely polished for being created in 48 hours. I think you could really use this idea and create something more from it!
I like the graphics and audio. The only problem is there wasnt a tutorial, so I didnt understand what the different ammo types actually did. I really like the title screen, it looks awesome!
A fun unique take on the clicker game genre. I really liked being able to watch the anthill grow. The art is pretty simple but it gets the job done. Having some music and sound effects would really improve the game in my opinion.
Overall good job - this is awesome for your first Ludum Dare!
I love this! I played it the most of all the ludum dare games I played, its so fun! There probably should be to get a new head when you lose yours, there is also a bug (ha!) that when you hit the wall you cant get away from it.
Overall its awesome and so fun!
This might be the most fun I had with a game this ludum dare!
This is my high score: a.png
I really love the minimalistic artstyle combined with the super simple but skillful gameplay. This probably isnt the last time I am going to play it :). I also agree that quill is an awesome inspiration. I did my first Ludum Dare because him too - now more then a year ago. Ludum Dare is awesome :)!
@eatthepath Thank you, if you add the time of me messing around with my guitar before I started working on the game it would probably be more than 5 hours, I didn't really track it in anyway this time. Makes me feel good when someone tells me that the music is music :). I also agree with the turn based system being pretty bad. The most optimal way to play right now is to kind of just mash the buttons and not care about being on the beat, I should have definitely put more work into making that feel right.
@captaingim There is a full screen button in the html version, or you can play the executable version which can be played in full screen too.
@dqmhose strange, I don't know, maybe try updating it? I tried downloading it and it works on my pc, though I use winrar and not 7zip. @ace17 thanks :), not sure what you mean by computer generated, it's created on a computer haha. The music changes its speed when you die (or go a long time without dying) so it can sound a bit out of tune or really weird sometimes, maybe that's what you mean?
@phobos001 Thank you for the kind words :), it isn't thaaat hard, is it? :smile: Good luck on beating it if you want to press on! :)
@mrpiedpiper Good job! You are the first person who has beaten this game (of course except me), thank you so much for the positive words, really means a lot to me! You deserve the bragging rights haha, I was really starting to think that no one would beat the game. Thanks for the feedback too, yeah that's a big mistake that right shift doesn't work, if I decide to do some more work on the game I will definitely fix that
@drevilbrain There's a part that looked like that optical illusion where black circles blink white that I had to change quite a bit so it wasn't as distracting :D
Wow, this game is trippy! There could actually be like a game fully created of such meta things as the steps needed to start the game (and then how to do stuff in it). That aside, this game is very interesting. I am not sure if I really got what I am doing, or what the third thing you get from the circle is, but that doesn't matter. And in the end I suddenly realized I created and protected a new-born reality? That's metal.
The music was great, I liked how it slowly built up. Nice game, overall :).
I gathered all the items, wish I could fight something or explore some more :). Gliding around using the cape is really satisfying, reminds me of Breath of the Wild a bit. This demo can hatch into a great game in the future :).
A really interesting idea, and really well polished. I also love how much content there is. I know most people don't like mobile games, and I am probably the same, but I think this could work really well on phones!
Great job making this!
I loved the ending haha. The game has some very funny sound effects overall :). The music is a real banger too. Getting the shields down was hard at times, especially when enemies spawned exactly on the other side from where you currently are, but I still managed to beat the game :).
Fun gameplay, although a bit short. The music was really really well done, as others said it feels a bit FTL like. The main menu screen in particular was really beautiful. The music gets a bit loud later in the game but that doesn't really matter too much. The bosses were a bit too easy for my tastes, but that's not really a real problem. Great game overall!
Great game, awesome graphics and sound design, the game is overall really really well polished. Short but sweet :).
Wow, very well polished, very fun, good length, can't really say anything bad about this game. This team really did a stellar job 6.9/6.9420 from me. Beat the game with 83 letters left, I fully expect to see this game in the top 10 :).
Impressive game, the jump works different from how you would expect at first but after a while when you get used to it, it feels great. I like how there are some forgiving mechanics to the jump, like when you land really close to the edge you kind of get nudged up it and so on. A well made entry overall!
I love walking simulators or whatever you want to call these games (even made two in past LD's :D). The ambient sounds and mood was beautiful. I don't have the peripherals so the visual effect you used probably didn't work as intended. To be honest I wish it could have been toned down a bit, maybe in the games settings, but I still really enjoyed the visuals. I love love the particle effects, especially when floating on water. Untitled-1.png
Overall, great experience, wish the effect was a bit lessened, loved exploring everything. The ending was very nice too.
@cottontshirtz well, I don't really get how it works so, if it's a shader, I don't know a lot about them, so I don't know how possible it is. I mainly just mean how for example if you are looking at one place, everything is moving, even though you are not moving and looking at just one place. I wish everything was just a bit less wobbly you know? :D Even when you are looking directly at something, it still moves quite a bit. It's possible that with the peripheral it works really well, but I can't test that because I don't have it :).
Wow that was a great experience, very well polished, great music, sound effects, figuring out the puzzle is fun, everything is well done about this game!
There are some very interesting decisions to be made in this one: Should I place a letter 2 a part from the current one, or do I reroll hoping to get a closer one? It's hard to say sometimes. I managed to eliminate one player and then fought for a long time with the two others and ended up eliminated in the end. I think it might be easier to eliminate others (and speed up the game) if the letter limit was less than 14. Also I noticed that there's some text missing at the bottom of the rules page (the text is cut off at "they will need to"), at least on my screen, that's just a minor nitpick though.
Good job on the game :).
Nice relaxing music, good sound effects, great visuals. The mood in the introduction is great, loved the whole intro sequence.
Wow, I love the art style and the sound design! The game is put together so well, it's cool how immersive the game is even though it's a 2d pixel art game, thanks to the sounds. I agree with others that the controls could probably be improved a bit I also got stuck with the same bug as @kazatan, went off to the right corner of the map and couldn't move, guess I should have read the comments first :D.
I like the animation in the intro. The gameplay was pretty hard for me, especially because I am colorblind, but that isn't the games problem :D.
Nice relaxing music, cute art, fun arcade gameplay, great entry overall! My best score was 1600 after quite a few tries, I'd love to know your secrets to get a better score :D, after a while I figured out a strategy that was basically just going on trips up and down, trying to shoot down all the thieves, going for down for the gold acorns and depositing as many as I can when going up.
Awesome music, love how it slowly builds up! I like the lighting, nice colors and creativity :).
The moving camera makes the movement a bit difficult sometimes.
Well, I am intrigued, I walked through a lot of screens, tried tapping letters of "Nothing" on the screen with my mouse, with my player character, on the keyboard to make words, got stuck a lot of times in the in between transitions, went through a long corridor and back, tried "taping" everything that looked like a button, seen some nothings, went into the seizure room, tried everything I could think of. But I didn't figure it out. Could you maybe @ me when you reveal the true meaning behind the game? Thanks :).
Why are clicker games so addicting :). Nice music. Great pixel art, I love how the desert gradually gets greener and more water-y. What's a Shai-Hulud, by the way?
Fun game! I love how the player improves between the game jams. Maybe I should take more walks in parks next LD :). The music was pleasant, and the gameplay definitely isn't as simple as you say :). Great job overall, especially considering it's your first LD game. Also because you didn't use any game engine, I know how hard it is to start with nothing (haha).
I won! The graphics are amazing, I really loved the art style! Good job on the animations too. The axe even has a great cs:go like inspect animation haha. The progress bar on the raft is a bit glitchy I think, but that's just a small nitpick. I wish surviving global warming would be so easy :).
Short but sweet, very bizarre game. Figuring out the boss patterns was very enjoyable, the hardest part is the last part and figuring out what to do :D.
I got stuck in the church too, walked around it for quite some time, checked between all the benches and everything, didn't figure out if I am missing something or if the game is bugged. I enjoyed the aesthetic, so if you guys fix the things others already mentioned I think this game will be great.
Short game, but well made. I wish we got to see more of the visuals, because what I saw of them when I wasn't wandering in the dark looked great. Those are some deadly rats too!
Cute art style, fun gameplay. You start out on a monkey island, which is pretty cool :) haha. Good job overall you guys :).
Cute art style, fun gameplay. You start out on a monkey island, which is pretty cool :) haha. Good job overall you guys :).
Edit: Sorry I think I double posted by mistake.
Great graphics, great sound design. Very well polished overall, it's just a great game! The concept is a bit simple but the premise of the game is very funny. I have to say it's incredible how long the enemies have arms haha.
That was amazing! Great art, the parts of the story we've seen are charming. I don't know if the questions are random, but I got the same two questions twice, but that's just a minor thing. I also really like playing games with a controller so that's cool too. Good job :).
Great art, great music, very well polished overall. The resource collecting part was pretty cool too, because you could prioritize a certain resource, but get less resources in total for example. Lots of interesting mechanics at play here! I would totally play more of this if there was some combat or even non combat system added where you make use of the morphling you evolve. I got all the evolutions, great game!
I completed the game in 93.1 seconds. Nice looking game. I really liked the player character art. The controls are good, which is very important for a 2d platformer. Good job on the game :).
I really liked the pseudo-terminal ascii art style! You should also add to the instructions that you start enemy waves by pressing enter. Nice job, especially as this is your first Ludum Dare game :). I also know how hard it can be to not use a game engine, so respect for that :).
I liked the voiceover :D. I liked the animations on the text too. Good job!
I liked the voiceover :D. I liked the animations on the text too. Good job! (I think I somehow double posted by mistake, I am sorry)
Good entry! Nice artstyle. I loved the music, great guitar playing :).
Short but so sweet! The pixel art is so beautiful, and the game is so well polished. The writing is very interesting, especially because you may skip some parts or visit others multiple times and they still work. The ambient sounds and sound effects also add to the great atmosphere of the game. Good job!
Great idea for a game, the concept is really funny! Now I know that the life of a medieval network engineer wasn't easy at all, with all the spiders, monsters and server errors!
Well that was incredible! Your first ever jam game, but it feels like it was made by a seasoned pro!
I love the artstyle, reminds me of Edmund McMillens games in that. The sound design is great, especially the voice over is really well done, that's something not many people attempt and you done so well at it! It's so satisfying when you get into a clump of souls and destroy them all at once haha. After I got my upgrades it felt like I was unstoppable, especially because the health refill cost only 4000 maximum.
Overall awesome entry, good job!
Nice art and sound. The aesthetic of the game is great. Wish I was able to drag the windows around, as others already said. It's a bit hard to understand what's going on at first.
Congratulations on finishing your first ludum dare game, I hope you return many more times and create many more great games! I liked the music. As others said, I wish I didn't have to click the left mouse button so much :).
What a concept for a game! It's a bit unclear what exactly you are supposed to do, but the concept could be very interesting if expanded. Good job on finishing a game.
Nice game, I really liked the ambience of the game. Good job!
Great looking game. Being able to pick your character is always awesome. I also have to say that when you block a hard group of arrows it makes you feel like a proper badass. My best score is 30 - even though the game is simple, it's really hard!
Fun game! Very well polished. The music fits the game so good! Good job :)!
Nice game! The concept maybe pretty simple, but the game is really fun! Getting random caPiTaL letters in the words really messed with me, but what really destroyed me was getting symbols that can't be written on my non-english keyboard haha. Before I switched to the english layout I already lost - got to 22 points - but the game is still great, and that's just a minority problem. Good job making it :).
Pretty cool story right out of the way. Fighting the enemies was really really hard, so I started to run around all of them. After a bit I got to the boss (I think?), talked with him, but than nothing happened, so I started to blast him, which didn't do anything too. So I went into the next room through the door... but fell out of the world - pictured here:
Bez názvu.png
Was still pretty fun though. I liked the sound effects and the designs for the rooms. Good job!
Hyperbolic space is trippy! Having the score be represented with letters as a I guess base 26 number is pretty cool too! And creating a game using your own programming language is incredible - you are amazing. Good job - fun game :).
Good idea - fits the theme really good. Won't say much more to not spoil anything - but great job making this :)!
That was a great experience! I loved getting to know the streets. Receiving a 3800 dollar fare feels really good. Sometimes not cutting the corners was a bit hard. Being able to choose out of 5 songs/radio stations was also pretty cool, and it even came with a volume slider! Found no bugs - everything was flawless!
Considering all that, I give it a lot/10 with a huge bonus!
From the multiple games with this ghosts in a loop mechanic I played this one is my favorite. Finishing the long sixth puzzle felt really good! The graphics are really nice, it's all polished and without bugs. You've done a really good job making this :)!
Yay I won! The movement mechanics were pretty fun - it was pretty cool to fly around the level when I got better at controlling the loop. I liked the minimalist graphics. I also do love a game with some cool lighting and cool particle effects :). Good job!
3d platforming is always pretty cool - but often also pretty janky :). I liked the level design, the pyramid looked pretty cool! I wish the level was a bit different when going through it again. Also it is a bit weird that when you get good enough to get through the level it becomes easier because of the upgrade.
Great graphics! Great name for a game :). Playing as a cat wizard is pretty cool! The graphics are really really good, I love the artstyle. I wish the game was a bit longer :). Also the thanks for playing text at the end glitched out really hard for me.
I always like a deck builder. The art style is pretty great. Great game!
Pretty cool! As others have said already the music is pretty nice! I got to level 3 when everything started to be pretty hard for me. Great job - especially making this without an engine and in C++!
Some of the audio and visual effects, static and the bloom from the lights particularly, were a bit too much for me - but otherwise the graphics were great. The monster looked incredibly good! That's amazing you managed to create such a cool character and animate it in a game jam. Good job :).
Nice cute platformer. I liked it when the game broke my expectations by letting me move the camera downwards. Good job making the game :).
Spooky game! The graphics looked really good for a game jam. Especially when looking out of the front window driving the train the atmosphere is perfect - and when the light gets turned off suddenly it's spookyness overload! Oh and this is definitely just a bug or my computer being crappy, but after driving around for a bit and walking around the train the browser tab with the game just crashed - which is a pretty funny thing to get scared by.
Great job making the game :).
That was great! The ending was so sad :(... all that and it ends like this. The sound effects were great - especially "bark bark". Also some pretty nice looking pixel art graphics - just a good game over all. A bit short, but it's a LD :). Great job making the game - one of my favorites so far this LD :).
Nice cute good looking graphics, some very realistic audio :). Pretty cool fit for the theme haha. I just wish it was a bit longer :). Good job :).
That was really really hard! Great idea and also very well polished - I didn't find any bugs, the controls were good, it was all smooth. But I really think the difficulty was too much. It was hard enough for me to not block myself off with my ghost, but there was also the time limit! Good job making the game though :) - I might just be bad at these kinds of games :D.
Great artstyle and amazing sound design. Both the music and the sound effects were amazing. Well done! I feel like this could be expanded into a great RPG game :).
Cool experience! Took me a long time to get number 3, but I did it. Nicely polished, everything is well made. I liked the chime at the ending.
Nice game! The movement - swimming around felt pretty cool. The art and mood was great, nice animations. It took me quite a bit to figure out that the tentacles actually hurt me and aren't just ambient, I am quite dumb haha. The squid monster was pretty scary. Really liked the game, good job!
Nice game! It is basically like circular Breakout - pretty cool - I have never seen anything like this before! One tiny piece of feedback, as I am colorblind it was quite hard for me to tell the yellow and green barriers apart - as you already have the emotion symbols on the balls, maybe you could have also added them next to the barrier. Still, it wasn't much of a problem as I could always just try both barriers when I wasn't sure :).
Cool game! If my parent showed me they created a game like this I would be amazed! :)
Great game! Everything is very nicely polished. The 1bit graphics work really good, the mechanic works really well for the theme, the audio is nice - very well made overall! I also liked the dithering effect for the transition that you posted about.
That was a cool experience! I liked how you built upon the atmosphere overtime. Following the dots was actually quite hard for me, but after a few tries I managed to get all the way to the end. The secret ending being an option was pretty funny :). Good job overall on the game!
Great game! The atmosphere was great, especially after getting through the first part. It was pretty scary how big the map was! But after I figured out that I need to follow the cloths closely, I managed to beat the game, was quite a close call!
That was a really cool experience. I really liked the shader used for the screen, and all the sound effects worked really well too. The commentary definitely isn't talking about any real company, right :)? Great great job on the game!
Great game! Nice art, nice sound design~. Mining crystals felt good, getting the upgrades was really fun, and gliding around in the best ship with all the best equipment felt amazing. All around a well polished game, good job! :)
Great looking game, nice sound too. Good job! As others said a checkpoint system would be very helpful as the levels are quite long.
Great looking game and a really nice sound track. The movement also felt pretty good. Once I got stuck inside the big fish and died, was kind of funny. A very enjoyable experience. Good job!
A very pleasant relaxing experience. The music combined with the background sounds of nature and the graphics worked great :).
Nice game! The art style is really cool. I found a strategy where I just went circling around the outermost orbit and went into the wormhole anytime it spawned, mostly ignoring the enemies which worked for me really good. Great job, especially considering this is your first LD :).
The theming with the music reminded me of doom - pretty cool. The game might be described as simple, but it's very well made and very fun, it's actually one of my favorites so far this LD. I loved how fast the game got - dodging everything at high speeds feels great. My best score was 4155 - I wonder what's the dev's best score :)? Great job overall!
Nice looking game! I liked the touch that you could leave right away and "win" that way. I didn't manage to escape the beast the normal way, my lantern ran out of fuel each time I tried, maybe I missed something :). Good job on the game~
Oh my god that was actually amazing! It was difficult, but in a good way, I just had to keep on trying until I beat the game! All the animations are great, the music was nice, the voice over was amazing and really fun, it's all gravy! The combat using was pretty cool too, a lot of distinct enemies with different attack patterns. In the end I ran away from all the enemies to make things easier, but that still required knowing what the enemies do to succeed - the eye thingys at the end especially gave me a lot of trouble before I figured them out. The horse was of course the best and well worth the budget :). Amazing job - I'd play more of this if it was made into a full post-jam game. I can see this game placing very well~ :)!
Cool game! I really liked the artstyle. Beating the game was actually quite a challenge, but I managed to do it!
Nice game! Twine is a pretty cool tool :). The mouse over effect at the beginning was really powerful. I think I got a bad ending in my playthrough. On my second playthrough I tried to go as deep as possible and understand how the game works better but I am still not really fully sure. Wish I got to learn how to play blues guitar though :). Good job on the game~!
(A bit off topic - there was no audio right? You could have opted out of the category, if there is no audio)
Cool concept for a game! I'd love a game where you control all kinds of weather. I also quite like the artstyle. I found a spot where I could stay in indefinitely, so I'd guess nobody is beating my score without also using it haha. Really cool, I loved the combination off interactive fiction and I guess walking simulators. Really interesting visuals, the music also fit the game really well. The sudden swap between 2d, text, 3d, back to 2d, a 3d platformer. I loved the jumping between genres, fits the theme nicely. And the story does too of course. The abilities in the sokoban part being described by the characters thoughts... So many interesting things. Did you also use multiple tools/engines/don't know what to call thems to make this? -- Twine for the text? Bitsy for the first parts? What engine for the other parts (Godot?)? Anyways, I am just trying to say this was a great experience. Very impressive. Probably my favorite game I played this LD. Great job from you all!
Very nice! Great looking visuals, very trippy. The portal effect in the repeating room was also really well executed, you almost can't see the seam! Great job!
Very very nice graphics, I loved all the particle effects, the background is also really pretty. Nice relaxing music. Well made overall! One thing I think could have improved the game would be adding "coyote time" -- allowing the player to jump for a short while after walking of a platform. Nice job!
That was really fun! I really enjoyed the music. it is so pleasant, nice and relaxing. All the 3d graphics are good too, it is always impressive to have a 3d game in the compo. I really appreciate the menu with all the quality of life sliders including a volume slider, a fov slider and more -- it is really cool that you managed to fit it in there.
The puzzles were fun, the first room and the shapes room were quite simple for me. I got stuck for a bit on the potion puzzle, but after a bit of trial and error I got through it too!
Overall a really enjoyable experience, great job!
I love a turn based rpg. It is cool that you can target anything you want. The rogue was really strong! It was quite short, but nicely made. Good job!
Nice game! Looks like it has a lot of potential. I really like most autobattlers, so I was happy to see a autobattler at LD. Both the art and the music were really good. The battle music especially, it might have also fit some epic boss fight, the mood of it reminded me of games like Undertale.
I got a buffing bot twice quite early that buffed everything adjacent by +1/+1 every turn which helped me roll over everything without any issue :).
Good job!
Very fun and cute! Trying to equip the parts during is quite chaotic, but I think it is ok as you can take a risk and equip stuff during combat or just wait until the wave is over. The big gun really bangs. It was quite hard to keep a ship maneuverable, but that's also part of the fun and fits the theme nicely. The graphics are great, the sound too. Good job :)!
That was cool :)! The game looks great. The spell effects are really really satisfying. Chaining together multiple enemy kills is also awesome. Good job on the game overall!
Níce game! Really funny concept for the game. The title is indeed very good, haha. The gameplay reminds me of warioware, fun to multitask everything at once :D.
Wow that artstyle! And the music -- It reminds me of Hylics, really cool! The "gameplay" is quite simple, but the artstyle combined with the great music create a really nice mood. Amazing job, I really enjoyed this.
Incredible animations on the player character. The graphics were amazing overall. The sound design was very good too, the sounds in the second part of the game were so disturbing! Great job!
Nice to see a story based game! "Cubey3d" was very funny, that got me. The concept of the game reminds me of The Beginner's Guide, which is a great game :). Good job!
Well this was really really nicely made! Cool concept for a puzzle platformer. It is nicely polished, the graphics and audio are both pleasant. I agree, that this game definitely has a lot of potential! Nice job!
What the heck that was so scary. Great looking game. Please go rate some games so that you can get a final rating in the end. This game would really deserve it.
Turns out getting into space isn't that hard, don't know why we aren't on Mars yet.
Fun game! Very well polished overall. Having the option to choose between mouse and keyboard controls is really nice, I preferred the mouse controls, but both seem good. Good job!
Such a pretty game, very nicely polished. The gameplay is nice, it was just quite hard for me to figure out the colors as a colorblind person, haha, but that isn't your fault. Still, if you wanted to make the game easier to play for colorblind people you could for example add symbols in addition to colors to the potions and the items. Great job on the game! :)
Very nice! The pastel+low poly art style is so lovely. As others have pointed out there's the restart bug, but it really is no issue as you can just restart the whole game. Some nice relaxing music would be nice. It also fits the theme really nicely in a way that I haven't seen anyone else do yet :).
Nice voxel/low poly graphics! Having a weather system in a tower defense game is really cool, more games should explore that idea :). Being able to zoom out and in is also a nice touch. I wish the music was a bit longer, the loop point is always a bit sudden, but that is a minor thing :). Nice job!
Beautiful game. The visuals are very very pretty, the low poly models, the lighting and the cool particle effects. It all works really well. Making a compo 3d game is also really hard! Having the player and enemies be invisible and only leave steps behind them is a very smart choice for a jam game. The piano music stings are also nice.
Tiny nitpicks: I think the volume of the footstep sounds could have been turned down a bit, I felt it was quite overwhelming and made it harder to notice all the other beautiful sound design. I also think there is some quite noticeable looping cutoff or how to call it on the ambient background noise but that is also not important.
Overall, a short but sweet experience. Amazing job on the game!
Incredible! Simple concept, but very well made. The game looks extremely good, no joke. All the animations are beautiful. It is also probably the hardest game I beat so far this LD, and I like a challenging game. The mechanics are simple, but deviously difficult. I think it took me about twenty minutes to get it, but after I got it I went and did it the second time immediately after, which feels great!
I managed to earn a cup of coffee + a donut :). I really liked the visuals, I loved how everything changed with the weather. Were the levels randomly generated? If they are, that is also very cool. Great job! :)
This was such a pleasant nice game! The art looks great, the music fits really nicely, and the instability is quite funny. This guy sneezes really often haha. Great job!
Great graphics, nice soundtrack. Super fun gameplay! First playthrough I barely survived to 5 am. Second try I got a ton of powerups and basically became a god of cat toys, shooting like a billion cat toys per second, and easily got to 8am where I stopped :D. I can confirm the story of the game is very accurate, my cat always likes to wake me up at like 5 am begging for food :). Great job making the game!
That was so fun! The combination of rogue legacy+vampire survivors (clever name) works super nicely, getting permament upgrades is very fun, getting temporary random weapons is also very fun. It just goes together really well. Had a great time playing.
Amazing work as always :)!
@amkingtrp yes and no :)
Super fun game! Very reminiscent of Vampire Survivors which is a great game! Enjoyed it quite a lot, slaying tons of monsters and getting a ton of experience is just very satisfying. You guys also really nailed the old school rpg aesthetic with the music and graphics, very cool :). Good job making the game!
Wow you guys know what you are doing! Such good overall game feel, great graphics, great sound design. Actually fun gameplay that is also a cool twist on the roguelite formula. Incredibly well polished for a game jam game, you guys really are pros. I am in awe.
edit:(oops, somehow I doubleposted, sorry for that)
Incredible job considering this your first time doing not only a game jam but game development in general!
Very cool artstyle, nice sound effects and cool music. The game was incredibly difficult. I think it took me about 7 tries to defeat the enemy. It felt good to finally do it, but I still feel the difficulty curve could have been adjusted a bit. I think one time I managed to smith like 5 correct weapons and still lost. I also think that when I won the game just ended when I defeated the enemy, I was kind of expecting there to be another monster after the first one. If there were more enemies I would recommend making the initial monster very easy and increasing the enemy health with each enemy, that way it would also fit the theme better. I also think it could be cool if even incorrectly combined weapons could deal damage, just way less than the correctly made weapons.
Sorry for the nitpicking and random "advice" nobody asked for, the game really great :). Again, great job making such a complete game!
Super fun game! I really enjoyed the roguelite-like picking of upgrades. I lost on wave 25, those void demons got me! Great job making it!
Incredibly banging soundtrack. 4 different great tracks, all using some similar parts in them also really helps the consistency, really liked that. The puzzles were also very fun. I liked not having an exact timer for death and instead just guessing based on the music, this way I felt like a cool guy jumping away from an explosion at the last moment whenever I got back. I failed the bottom one once and got the other ones on first try without knowing how close to death I was. Great game overall!
It isn't anything new but it really does fit the theme well! Your implementation looks really cool too.
I would have loved if you added some nice background music. I'd also recommend you to put the default controls somewhere on the LD page here, I didn't know how to rotate my pieces and had to reset at first. I found them in the main menu and they even seem to be customizable which is amazing, but it will definitely be helpful for lazy people like me when they can read them right away :). Also, the game uses fully random pieces instead of some "bag" system right? I had a really long long piece drought so I think so (or I am just really bad :D ). If yes that isn't bad at all too, I think original NES tetris does it the same and it is perfectly valid :).
Had a good time playing overall :).
Amazing art and music! The game looks just incredible -- I really really like the art style. The game is also basically a documentary, it perfectly captures the experience of trying to be productive while programming :D.
I won the game, it was pretty cool :). The art was great, the concept of adding more stuff to the animation is pretty interesting. I wish there was something in world 1 that unlocked after world 2 and 3 because it felt useless after these were unlocked. I also wish there was more music, but that also wasn't too much of an issue because after listening to it twice I just muted it and put on my own music.
Good job making the game!
Interesting moba feel! Trying to use all the abilities as efficiently as possible is really fun. It is interesting that you keep your levels when restarting. On my second try I found two people close to each other and kept healing them over and over and managed to live for "Time: 392" :P. It would have been interesting to have some enemy attacks to dodge or something like that to prevent the player from just standing next to a single person and healing them over and over. The game also has nice music and sounds, and a nice art style too.
Good job overall! :)
Interesting music! I didn't really figure out an intuitive way to use the keyboard controls, j+k being bound, along with space for jump and the arrow keys/wasd makes me reach around the keyboard too much awkwardly. I liked the pseudo double jump with the gun but it was really hard to execute for me with the current controls. Maybe the controls could have been reorganized in some way? :) I also never noticed the spikes on the first time and always died to them at first, but that isn't too much of an issue because of the nice respawn system :).
That was a lot of nitpicking, hope it doesn't sound too negative :). I enjoyed the game and managed to finish it :). Good job :)!
That was beautiful! The overall aesthetic and feel of the game was top notch. The art and the animations are so nice. The gameplay itself was interesting, I liked the mysteriousness. It took me quite a lot of tries to "win", but I stuck with it and it felt great to see that light at the end of the tunnel :). The attacks when the heart beat sound effects were quite hard and I found the best strategy to be to ignore most of the attacks and just dodge them instead of parrying. When trying to parry every attack I got overwhelmed by the amount of homing projectiles near the end.
I also still don't know if the map is randomly generated or if it is not and you start on a random place on it, which helped the "mysteriousness". I felt like I recognized part of the map after a few tries but that might just have been a feeling.
This game deserves a lot of praise! Playing such a nicely polished, well crafted game just feels good :). Great, great job!
Beautiful art! The music is very nice too. It also fits the theme nicely, in a way I didn't see done yet. I was a bit confused by the leech minigame. It also felt quite easy to just pick up all the random stuff in the kitchen and shoving it all on the boy without really trying to figure out what's the right thing, maybe using the wrong thing could have harmed him instead?
Great job making the game, especially considering it was one of the team members first LD :).
That was really really good! The overall mood was great. Nice graphics -- great artstyle, very nice ambient background music and sounds. The dialogue was very nice, having a story like that really does improve a game by a ton! I also really enjoyed the gameplay, dodging things is just always super fun for me.
Great job making the game!
Very fresh take on these infinite fallers/3d infinite runners or whatever they are called. It was quite interesting to rely on the light to detect obstacles, it felt like I was some nocturnal animal using echolocation instead of just using my eyes. Even though I was still mostly using my eyes of course. It felt like an emulation of how using echolocation could feel, maybe. The graphics are very nice and the ambient sound design is also very cool, overall a great aesthetic. Great job making the game!
A tower defense combined with the autobattler team building is super fun! There are already so many different units and even class bonuses, it is amazing. If you add music and sound effects and improve the art a bit I think this could easily release this game. People really enjoy the autobattler roguelity games combined with different genres -- Snkrx, Vampire Survivors all the pvp autobattlers... and I didn't see a tower defense game combined with an auto battler yet so I think it is a really promising idea :).
I had a great time playing it. Great job!
Very funny! Amazing artstyle and well fitting music! The sprites and the animations for all the attacks are all so so nice. Very nicely polished game over all. It is also nice to see that the inevitable can sometimes be a good thing :). Great job making the game!
Saw your post, and I wish I saw your guys game earlier, you guys would have gotten great ratings from me! Man I loved this so much. The music is so good, the patterns are very fun. My one tiny nitpick is that I would like to have shooting on space or Z, it is a bit hard to reach shift and E when using arrow keys. Some patterns on impossible were also wildly more difficult than others but that is ok :).
I'll be back to beat impossible! Great job on the game! :)
fdfsa.png
Great fun! As everyone already mentioned it really is very nicely polished. I liked the different types of balls with different abilities. I got to room 11 and then accidentaly left the room without my balls (haha) and that ended me :). Was a good time!
Fun game! I love the artstyle, it looks amazing. I always love roguelite mechanics in games. Having a choice when to leave a room was quite interesting. One minor complaint is that all the enemies felt a bit too tanky/spongy. I might have just gotten really unlucky with my powerups but it felt like I was shooting dracula for a really long time.
Great job making the game!
Bez názvu.png
The voice over is so so good :)! I also like the background music. I have somehow made it to week 14, so I guess I am on top of the leaderboard for now until someone smarter than me takes the top :D. Good job making a nice game :)!
screen.png
Very cool game! Love the look of it, it has a great aesthetic. It felt like I survived much longer than I would have expected after I ran out of rations. It might have been just me muting the game somehow but I think the ambient sound effects stopped after some time? It would have also been cool to make the player actually move slower as they got hungrier and thirstier.
Great job making the game! :)
Great game, it was super interesting! I really liked your implementation of the text adventure ui, the font and so on. It was cool to explore all of the options and see how they all end in the same way even when you try to fight really hard to not end that way. I am not sure I liked the ending one liner, it felt a bit out of place after everything else, but otherwise it was really great. Good job!
Very interesting! I am not fully sure what was happening, but I managed to catch a very large number of wabbits.
Quite a unique art style and music, it was even a bit scary, especially the subliminal messaging(?), which is kind of strange from what I thought the game will be at the start. Good job making it :)!

Fun game! Very nice retro graphics and music. Sometimes when a lot of sounds were happening at once some of the sounds got clipped, probably a limitation of the pico8, so not your fault at all :). When I first started I got a bit lost in the first region, but after wandering around for some time I figured out that the station is in the top left corner of the map and had no issues finding it again afterwards. Using the laser to chop up asteroids was very satisfying.
Overall a fun nice arcade game :)!
Here's my score :) :

Super interesting game! I didn't really play anything like it before. It felt basically alien to me which is a super cool feeling. I don't think I managed to figure out how it works, I tried a few times and lost on round 4 every time. I thought I had to connect each color line at a distance similar to this colors dot distance from the center of the circle on the left picture, but it also didn't really seem to work that good.
Even though I didn't really understand how to play the game it really was super intersting to experience what felt to me like entertainment for beings from another dimension. Thanks for making this! Cool experience/game.
Got to 12. Very simple, but also fun! Nice graphics, nice sound it just works nicely! :)
Beautiful art, nice music, sad story, though I guess the ending (at least the one I got if there are multiple) was quite ok considering the circumstances. Great job making it!
Interesting twist added to a platformer. Sadly I didn't manage to spend time with my loved one, nor to collect all the coins, because I missed one while I was "hurrying" at the end :D. Fun game! Good job making it.
Screenshot 2022-04-09 at 20-45-13 Dilate the time! by milq.png
Super cool game! The ambience and graphics and sounds were all excellent!~ The gameplay was cool too, but I have to say having to press J and L constantly was a bit annoying. I understand that it signifies the character having to really fight to keep their eyes open, and I really like the symbolism in that, but from a gameplay standpoint I don't think it works too good. Maybe having to keep your eyes open by pressing buttons like this could be used just in small parts of the game? That is just one small thing though, the game was great! Good job everyone!
Very fun, very nicely polished game! The graphics are just perfect. The gameplay reminds me of Enter the Gungeon in a good way. It obviously has a super high skill ceiling which is very cool. Having the bullets only push you is a super elegant design decision. By the way, your main menu, which you call "ugly" looks freaking beautiful!
Great job!
So relaxing! I love the whole aesthetic, the 3d modelling was really well done. The music combined with the background ambience worked super good. I heard how hard it was for you to record the birds for the game, it was well worth it I say! I like how there's no way to "win" and the plant always dies, it is kind of relaxing! I felt like I did quite a good job with my plants, which felt nice. The pot being thrown out without any regard, after tending to the plant in it just seconds before was also super humorous to me.
Lovely experience!
Can't start the game on my machine:
``` Data folder not found: There should be 'BobaShop_Data' folder next to the executable ```
(I wonder how have 2 people managed to rate this game if the game isn't runnable)
Yep it works now :). Well... at least mostly?
Oh the art is so so so so pretty! And the music is very nice too. The atmosphere overall is just amazing.
I think there might be some bug with the menu board -- when I grabbed a cup and took some stuff and afterwards interacted with the menu board the bubble above my head disappeared and didn't come back. Afterwards I tried restarting and doing the steps for the basic latte and I might just be stupid but I tried for quite a while to figure out how to make the basic latte -- I took the first cup, used the first option at the coffee machine, took the milk, and afterwards used the second option on the coffee machine and it did nothing. I tried a few variations of this but didn't manage to produce a basic latte in any way. I did manage to make a boba latte first try though which was cool! (it also didn't really match the steps from the menu in my mind, which makes me think I might be missing something very obvious)
I have to say that just while trying the things so far, the atmosphere really goes places, amazing. But I'll wait with finishing the game and rating most categories until later, when I'll know if I am just stupid and don't understand how to make a basic latte :).
Cool execution of a simple concept. When I got the second ship I was very excited! One tiny thing that is a bit annoying is how at the start the respite phase is a bit boring and could probably be skipped, after you die you just want to get back to the more interesting parts!
Nice atmosphere, I like the art style. I really like typing games so it's cool to see this. It felt like there were a bit too many zombies for too little weapons, felt like most of the time I was running around looking for more weapons and not typing. But it was really satisfying to afterwards shoot the huge cluster that gathered behind me with the weapons that did splash damage! :)
Having the attacks help make the music is such a good idea! Nice twist on the vampire survivors formula. It took me a bit at the start to realize that I need to click the items I want from the chest, but that is just me being dumb :D. Good job!
Wow! I didn't expect I'd love a hidden object game this much. I loved the visual novely-story, the art style is great, finding the objects was nice too and the music was just incredible -- truly.
I really really enjoyed this, great job!
Very cool use of AI, I really like how many types of Ai you combined for this. I have to say the generated piano music was the most impressive for me, it definitely just is very much good enough as background music. The creatures were a bit nightmarish, not sure if I'd like to date those! :) I wish I got more time to read the descriptions for the characters, but it wasn't easy to read it fully in just the 10 seconds :D but that is also kind of the point of the game so I understand :D. Good job! :)
Very very nicely polished, I love all the small details -- having a good leaderboard is super cool, especially as it shows you when you are close to pass the score of others (if I understood correctly :)). And a nicely made menu too. Good job!
Very nice! I love metroidvanias, and this is a really nice twist using the theme on metroidvanias. Being a wizard is also always fun!
I liked the graphics. The reverse effect is super cool. The fireballs also look great and the fact that they play the explosion sound effect in stereo according to where they exploded is very neat. The timer not starting until you actually move is a very nice touch.
I think the jumping might have felt a bit better for the player with the addition of some coyote time, but it was still fine even now. The bosses fireball attacks felt like they hit me a bit too early every time -- maybe their hitbox could have been a bit smaller, phase 2 also felt a bit too tanky -- I was wondering for a bit if I should be doing something else, but figuring the boss out was very cool besides that :). Good job making the game :)!
My time was 16:16, probably not the world record :D.
I enjoyed this a lot! Super fun. I really liked the artstyle, the spellcasting effects were made in a super nice way.
Love the visuals! Feel like this game could be super fun for speedruns which is cool too.
Kiva! Hyvä työ. Se oli hauskaa. Minä rakastan "visuals" teidän pelassa. (Olen Tšekilainen, mutta oppin suomea :) )
@danmerey the K(decrease)/L(increase) buttons mentioned in controls didn't work? :( there definitely is some weird stuff there, when I made the windows build it was all fine but when first testing in the browser it was suddenly going insane so I added these buttons as an option
Thanks everyone for the nice comments! :)
@exofrenon I actually didn't play the Return of the Obra Dinn yet, but I heard great things about it and loved Papers, Please so it's definitely on my to play list, I even managed to dodge spoilers until now :D The camera issue sadly also happens only on the web build, I think it's due to the game not getting focused properly sometimes somehow and then the mouse cursor somehow hitting the edge of the screen. I thought about taking the web build down due to the issues it has but I'll leave it up because of how convenient it is for everyone.
Fun game! A really well made version of an infinite runner, except it is finite, which I honestly love! Always feels good to win. The graphics are very nice, super clean and well polished artstyle. Screenshot 2023-01-14 at 12-30-18 Bez názvufdf.png (PNG obrázek 1920 × 1080 bodů) - Měřítko (85 %).png
Amazing music! Loved it. The graphics are really nice too.
The twist reminds me of an old (flash?) game called "Can Your Pet?".
Super pretty -- I love the artstyle! The environments, the water (I kind of wonder how the water was done), everything is super pretty. The character is very nice too. Really cool music too. I won, though I wish I understood more of the story, it was quite intriguing.
It also reminded me of Oxenfree a bit, both in the artstyle and ost but also in the mysterious atmosphere, which is cool :).
Great job overall!
Nice looks, good music too! The super-slash had a very satisfying look. And it's always cool to see a progression system -- it's fun to see a number go up :D.
I really appreciate the colorblind mode! Super cool to have such an option.
I read your post and I really do think splitting the game up into levels was a great idea. I got to level 8 I think, pretty fun! :)
Great graphics! Really nice music. A very nicely polished game overall! good job :)
The controls written in the background (binding of isaac style) and at the beginning is a super nice touch.
The difficulty was tad too simple in the normal mode, and the hardcore mode sounds a bit annoying. I felt like I was a lot stronger then the enemies, got to 5 minutes and didn't really feel like going longer. Just a nitpick though, balancing a game is super hard -- especially in a game jam, if the game wasn't very well made I wouldn't share it :).
Screenshot 2023-01-10 at 22-35-11 Infernal Garden by ernani Raindrinker FreezedIce.png
Very nice! What a pleasant game! Super nice aesthetics, nice music, simple but fun gameplay! Great job :)
Super cool idea! And actually really fun -- a super pleasant relaxing experience. I liked the art. The final level was a very cool twist too.
One thing I am not sure about is if there was no music/sounds? I didn't hear any but its possible it was broken for me. If you didn't have any that is of course fine, I'd just suggest opting out of the category, which you should be able to do even for the compo :).
Unique concept, I don't think I saw a game based on this theme before!
So pretty! I love the artstyle so much! And the music is very calm and pleasent too. Very enjoyable, great job :)!
Wow! Love the ambient sounds and music, super nice. The animations were really really nice too. I liked the blood cube particles too :D.
I think it would have been nice to be able to attack just by holding left click instead of having to spam it, I simulated it by having a autohotkey script that spams left click for me as its quit tiring :).
Fun game! Really good idea and good execution. It was quite hard for me but that didn't really matter and I still enjoyed playing.
(I also pressed ctrl+w one time and ctrl+s many times, might have been a good idea to not have crouch on ctrl for the web build, but I also didn't think of it for my game :D but that's just a small thing and not your fault.)
Quite fun! I liked the music and the graphics. Having a progression system is super nice -- I don't know if I got unlucky but I got the same one three times afterwards but it was cool to see even with that :). Good job on the game!
Great looking game! Reminded me of stuff like Cataclysm: DDA and Project Zomboid.
I'd recommend adding some of the info contained in the manual to the LD page too, people are lazy :). I'd also add a few screenshots to the page. The game is really cool and has a ton of mechanics, you should market it a bit better! :D Similar to another player I died to the thing that antibiotics were supposed to heal but didn't, managed to slay many dogs and explore quite a bit before that. Enjoyed my time playing, great job making the game!
Cool game! I liked the aesthetic. Also very cool you made it in C++ basically from scratch :). I don't know if I got lucky, but it actually mostly got easier near the end, because close to the end almost everything got rejected which was quite interesting. The government was probably really cracking down on those letters :D. I can really see the papers please inspiration :).
What a weird aesthetic and style! I liked it! The only thing that didn't really fit for me is the player sprite. The resources got very tight for me at the end. The vending machine mechanic was very good for the resource management.
I also have to say the story was a bit ... strange(?) in the end but still enjoyed it :). The game had a ton of stuff in it, impressive you got so much done! Good job!
@geckoo1337 thanks for the kind words! I will try to rate a lot of games in the coming days, just have been kind of swamped with work and a lot of other stuff. As for the Unity version, I was just lazy to update my Unity from the version I used before :D
Short but sweet. Nice animation and artstyle! The music is really good, had to listen to it for a bit after playing :D -- love how the dog "sings" along :D.
Very cool! Love the ASCII art style. Idle games are always enjoyable and fun. Good job!
Weirdly immersive considering the artstyle! Actually quite scary and moody, I know it's supposed to be mostly funny :D. Great sound design and very cool graphics.
Very nice! On my first playthrough I died and the retry button somehow didn't work correctly, it just didn't reset me. But after reloading the game I finished it. Well made, the tutorial is very cool too which is rare! I wish I could be this cool on a skateboard :D.
Wow amazing! Didn't play too many point and click adventures in LD games. Amazing graphics too. The music getting louder the closer you get is a great touch. Great job! One of my favorites I played so far :).
I did it! That was pretty fun. Maybe this could get more levels added in the Wordl one packing a day format? :D Idk, was a fun time tho! Good job :)
Amazing! Great interpretation of the theme. And the music was a real banger. Great job!
Wow what a well polished game! Great music and graphics. The gameplay is fun too! I wonder what the pizzas are made from :D those are some really durable pizzas!
Oooh pretty game! Liked the music, very pleasant, love the guitar. Super pretty artstyle -- I really like the lowpoly Windwaker-y water. Loved just driving around and exploring, one of my favorite kinds of a game. Only thing I can say is that I wish there was more! :)
Wow! The music is immense, really conveys the size of space well! I didn't really have the reaction time to beat the game (if there's an ending) -- the bullets were a bit too fast for me :D, got to 4 waves multiple times but always died there. The gameplay isn't the most innovative thing, but upgrades always make everything more interesting. Was a good time! :)
Pretty cool concept! Well made tutorial. I like the chaotic mechanics, made me feel like a starcraft pro. Unfortunately the colors made it a bit hard to play as I am colorblind, maybe if there were some symbols too that could have made it easier :). Still managed to get to 300 dollars tho, just made the wrong kind of shirt a few times :D. Was a good time :).
Incredible! Very nicely polished, super enjoyable, could really see this getting expanded into a full game. One thing I couldn't stop myself from doing was moving the thingy in sync with the music -- maybe the potential full game could have rhythm elements? :D The music was incredible did I mention that? And the art style was really good too.
Very nice music and graphics! It took me a bit to figure out what all the dash could do. The wall jumps worked a bit strange too, not exactly sure how, but maybe the character should automatically stick to walls to make it feel better? It's really hard to make a platformer feel really good, but this one is almost there! Good job!
Yay I won! Fun game! It's like space mini golf :D. I loved it when I shot a delivery and it somehow ended up returning exactly back to me :D , or somehow through dumb chance and luck at the tower.
What a cool visual style -- I wonder, is it done in the 2D-3D way Doom and other early 3D games were done? The random sound effects built a pretty spooky atmosphere -- I don't know if they meant something? I managed to "delever" the package, but didn't really understand what exactly I was doing. Definitely a cool game though! :)
Fun game! A small random thing, but I like how you displayed the score on the scroll bar :D. A strategy I found is that a lot of times driving of the road was actually the safest and easiest. A few times so many packages spawned that I failed basically right away, but that is minor :). Good job!
Edit: not sure if audio was broken for me or there was none -- I skipped voting on it, if there was none you could have opted out of the category afaik :)
@tempestcognitor wow! that's extremely impressive and blew my record out of the water!
thank you guys! @nougato haha yes it is kind of inspired by vampire survivors -- instead of only moving and not shooting, you only shoot and don't move :D
@kanity hmm strange, I am not really sure what could be causing that -- if you'll have extra time would you take a look if running the included executable ".console.exe" prints anything out into the console?
Thanks everyone for playing the game :)
@fabula-rasa Wave 18! Incredible, I think you have the high score now!
@kr4ft3r Thank you so much! I have been using the "dark forest" as a sort of unifying thing between my jam games for some time (I made 8 dark forest games now already :D), though most of them do have a bit of a darker aesthetic that didn't come through in this one haha
@kanity Ah, I was hoping it would give some error message, thanks for trying it! I'll have to think about what could be causing that
@defrag The "ultra" and "quick" are basically modifiers that improve the spells :) -- ultra increases damage, quick cast speed, there were a few others in the LD version too I think. Hmm, the double casting is strange, yeah the gold synergy definitely shouldn't have been causing that -- I am actually still working on the game and I had a few instances where I felt like something similar happened, so I'll have to do a deep dive and try figure it out.
Also, if anyone would be interested in how the game looks now, here's a recording I made a few days ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwElfI4ck8k
Super cool UI and aesthetic -- very clean and minimalistic, with some very good animations! Really enjoyed the overall feel of the game. I admit that it took me reading the rules like 3 times to figure out what's going on, but afterwards I made some pretty big words. I never tried thinking about words where you can basically chop off the end and still have it be a word before :D -- cool idea!
That was fucking incredible! Amazing job!
Nice game! I like how you gradually introduced the mechanics. The level with the guys switching colors was quite difficult, they got out of hand so quickly if you weren't fast, but I preserved and got through it and won :).
Well that was insane :D Whenever I talked about sport it set off a chain reaction that lasted for like more than a minute. Gotta stick to speaking about crime and politics I guess haha.
Ooooh cool sokoban-y puzzle game! I won! I liked the artstyle, it has a cool aesthetic -- sort of post-apocalyptic vibes? The music being about 8 seconds long was a bit mindflooding (or is it 4 seconds?). The amogus on the cover art looks extremely cool.
I also noticed theres an hardmode available where if you try playing after the "you win screen" you can play the levels in blind mode cause the you win screen stays up which is cool :D
Interesting game! I really like the aesthetic, it is simple but very effective -- it just looks good! Particularly the particle effect when you destroy the asteroids looks very nice to me. The gravity affecting the bullets was quite cool too. Unfortunately in all my tries the game got a bit chaotic and hard for me around score 30, there was just a bit too much happening :D , I hope I didn't miss out on a mechanic that would save me there. Still enjoyed playing the game though, good job! :)
Wowee! Nice graphics and music, the danger music reminded me of the pokemon low hp sounds a bit :D. This game is very challenging! It's very cool how much better you get over time, on my first try I didnt even manage to make one line, on my second run I made a few lines and on my third run I was close to making a line of blues. I am still not fast enough at all though, I always get flooded and then make a gigantic mess :D.
Very mspaint like feeling graphics and overall aesthetic of the game -- I like that though, it has its charm :D. It was fun! The mechanics are simple but also very enjoyable! Good job!
A tiny annoying thing I had happen is that I had a tomato get stuck in the side of a pot, which caused it to also not respawn, but it didn't matter too much :).
What a pleasant relaxing game! Nice I managed to accommodate 152 sheeple before losing.
The music especially is super nice, good job to whoever did that :).
Fun game! Love the minimalist artstyle. The sound of getting hit played a ton of times sometimes when I got hit, but thats the only tiny thing. The gameplay was tight! Good job making the game :).
Got to 211 score, I am the best so far here hahaha Snímek obrazovky 2023-10-12 185121.png
Extremely well polished game! Super cute artstyle, great juicy effects with screen shake, nice particles on the snow and wind, very nice music. Just overall very well made, you guys obviously know what you are doing :). Amazing job!
I got to 76 seconds as my best score :).
Yay! I eliminated all the invaders! Cool game! Is it made fully from scratch in javascript without any frameworks? :) When I held spacebar down I found it fun how it spawned tons of the bullets.
Very nice artstyle -- what a cool aesthetic! As you said it was a bit buggy, I had enemies attack me and hurt me while I was walking through the doors a few times. I also got stuck in the door, I think by going through and back again I think? But I still enjoyed the game, roguelites are the best!
That was very fun! I loved how it progressively got more and more chaotic over time (and it also fit the theme so good as multiple of the things limited the space :D ). Simple mechanics, but very fun -- that's often the best combination!
That was nice! I like the artstyle, and the writing was nice too -- it felt like there was quite a lot of branching available. I got ending 3 :). I love that I got to take a sloth with me, haha.
That was cool! I felt like I got a pretty good ending. I liked the art :).
I really appreciate being able to choose the colors yourself, that's a super nice touch! It felt like I wasn't really in control with bouncing the ball of my paddle, it felt like it bounced off the same way no matter in which position I hit the ball. Still I liked this new version of pong :)!
Yay I won! That was super fun! The music was very good and the art also very nice. The SDFG controls were a tiny bit uncomfortable for me cause I wanted to use both hands to do this rhythm stuff but those buttons were a bit too close to each other but that's just a tiny tiny thing. I was very scared that I'll have to do two things at once at the end of the game but luckily I won before that :D.
Reminds me of that experiment where people were left alone in a room for 10 minutes (or however long) and were given the option to shock themselves and like 70% people or something choose to shock themselves just cause they were bored :D. Was that an inspiration?
Now speaking about the game, I really like the minimalistic artstyle -- it looks super nice! And the music was really great, loved that! Btw, I touched the pylon many times :D. I also wonder what this cat/dog did to be put into prison.
@alaah thank you for recording and posting your playthrough, it means a lot! and you are totally right, I should have made a linux build, that's on me. actually I am going to make one now!
Oh, and if anyone is interested here's a diagram I made for myself when creating the game to be able to keep track of everything. Obviously, huge spoilers inside, don't look at it if you didn't play the game yet. (I wish there was a way to put spoiler tags on images)
diagram.png
@justcamh thank you for playing and sharing the vod!
Amazing. It's extremely rare to have a jam game with a full story, with great graphics, perfectly matching the theme. The only nitpick is that the music felt a bit short, so I felt like I heard it loop quite a lot of times. But the music was also pretty banging, and the whole audio and voice acting was incredibly well done, so from my pov the audio was still 10/10. I don't really know what more to say -- I hope you get first place!
victory I didn't poop myself! fun game! the art on the demon reminds me of swords and sandals funnily enough, pretty cool.
wow! music goes much harder than I expected in the second zone
Cool game! Really really tough at the start, when I first got stuck I really wanted to be lazy and just quit, but I am happy I stuck around :D -- once I figured out what's going on it was fun and interesting. I finished all the rooms, but I am not fully sure if I used a bug to do so -- you can remove summons while the game is "playing" which made some of the latter levels easier than level 4 for example, which leads me to believe it might be a bug. Good job on the game!
Wow! That was actually very cool! I couldn't actually figure out what caused some triggers so I mostly just dragged things around and after a few rounds I ended up with some strong monsters that got me to round 8. Really enjoyed this, good job, it's like a dark super auto pets! :D
Yay I won! Cool art! -- I like the sprites in a 3d world aesthetic. I really liked the effects used for the weapon attacks. Using a magical staff as a gun is also super cool, I wish more games did that! I really wish I got to use some more powerful magical weapons, would have been cool to have a magic shotgun and a magic minigun and magic rocket launcher and so on :D.
I won! I love bullet hell games, was a good time! The audio was surprisingly spooky. Someone went really really ham with the screenspace postprocessing effects haha, gave it a cool over the top look. The 2d/3dness was very interesting, I am not even sure if I played any games that did 2D this way.
Very nicely polished! Good job. It's also very true, getting friends together as people get older and get more responsibilities is just tough :(
Sick music!
Very cool concept! There wasn't too much gameplay so far but it was still super cool to play around with it. When I got into a huge battle I was very impressed. I am imagining how this could work if players had various abilities, it could basically be like Eve :D. It also reminds me of old browser games I played ~10 years ago :).
I really like the art style and sound fx and overall game feel -- how switching the puck "shelves" works and so on, very nicely polished!
Wow! Incredible amounts of polish! Nice music, simple but enjoyable gameplay. The artstyle is so nice! UI is amazing, everything just looks so pretty! 11/10 visuals I have to say.
Wow this was insane. What a vibe! Truly felt cursed. Super short but still one of my favorite I played so far this LD. I think a long version of this that you mentioned could do really well actually haha.
@dhim I sadly don't have a mac machine to test it so no guarantee it will work, but I tried making a mac build, let me know if it works, so I can delete it if it doesn't :D
@dhim thanks for trying! I am also sorry that I can't make it work :(
I got only to about wave 10 so far but I am having a great time! It's a bit tough to keep the king alive in the later waves when there's so much happening but I also know that is definitely a skill issue, I'll try to get better and go further :D. The game is really well polished -- great visuals, sound and the gameplay is super cool! Very good entry, great job!
So well executed! Really nice music, great art style and also great voice acting! Some of the later jumps were a bit frustrating, when everything was spinning so fast that I felt like I was mostly sending it at random (skill issue). But I still got through to the end! Had a good time, very nice job as always~~
Woooow! Such a pretty art style! Really good presentation. The combat could have used something a bit more besides just using left click to attack, but it's also super hard to make something like that feel good in a game jam so I understand it, and it was still fun to play anyways. Overall it was a cool experience! Good job making it :)
I love frogs! Frogs are objectively the best tiny creatures. The gameplay was simple but fun -- I freaking destroyed the AI haha.
That was super cool! What a great idea -- cool execution of the theme. I only wish it was longer.
Simple but fun and nicely polished!
Wicked! I managed to survive 30+ seconds on the max difficulty and I also got all the frog upgrades. I have to say it's a real afrogcalypse on the max difficulty haha.
Making a game without an engine is and will always be super impressive to me. And it even has a FOV slider! I don't think I ever made a jam game with that and I always use engines.
I won, I have no idea what's happening but I enjoy the music and art style
that was a pretty cool temple indeed
I love all these weird "buzzfeed" or however to call them personality tests, cool idea to make it into a game haha!
Snímek obrazovky 2024-10-09 210152.png
I also noticed one text box said incest instead of insect, oops. But that's just a tiny thing :D
Cool idea for a game! I like that you even had voice acting and even an opening cutscene. It was a bit choppy for me -- possibly due to too many shadowed lights or something similar? But it was nothing too severe and the game was still enjoyable to play anyways.
Pretty cool! I actually like how this looks, minimalistic but pretty! And yep making it totally from scratch with just opengl is super cool.
By the way I didn't hear any audio, if there isn't any and it wasn't just broken for me, you can opt out of the audio category if you want I think :).
That was very fun! Great job! Very nice and clean artstyle, and the core mechanic is super fun!
@moondweller thanks for playing the game and for the super nice comment, really appreciate it! sadly Godot when using c# doesn't support web builds since Godot 4 so I've been stuck with non web builds for my games :(
Super hard but I stuck with it and won! The base grappling mechanic is super fun. It would have been nice if it was a bit easier to target the beams and buckets when flying at a big speed but it still worked good enough anyways. Fun game! moneyz.png
Very nicely polished, it just didn't even feel like a game jam game! The art is so nice. I don't really play idle games usually so not sure if it's common or not, but I also liked how you made the upgrades be located in a different "space" that you need to grow out to making it fit nicely with the theme.
That was fun! The art is really pretty, and I enjoy the gameplay, trying to squeeze as much as you can from you the hand you got! I scored 85 :)
s.png
This is amazing! Very nicely polished overall. Cool gameplay, very nice take on the theme. I love the two tone artstyle.
Short but sweet! I didn't expect a game with such a silly premise to be so atmospheric :D the sound design was really nice, and the gameplay of course very funny.
Nice game! It felt nice to outsmart the AI by letting it go into a chokepoint where I could gang up on their characters 1 by 1 while my tank with priest tanked everything :) Would be cool if the wizard had some cool spells and stuff for the future :)
That was a super nice time! Lovely artstyle, I love the walking simulator-y gameplay. And I really really liked the trippy audio, great job :)!
Really pretty art style. The controls were quite strange, it was cool that I could change them, but after I died they seemed to reset to the defaults. Shooting the boss was really awkward since turning around was so slow that I got only a short moment to shoot and then needed to turn around and run away again. I like the roguelite upgrade loop. And the graphics are really amazing though.
So prettyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Amazing job on the visuals. I got reminded of Abzu a bit when playing, which was a super pretty underwater game too :D. Pretty cool audio too, how come you opted out of audio?
Short and sweet! Nice sound design and great graphics :)
Wish I could try your game guys, but when I try to launch it I get: "All resolution switches have failed Screen: DX11 could not switch resolution (1920x1080 fs=1 hz=0)" I have direct x11 so I am not sure what the problem is.
@OccultOne Yeah I know it's Unity, I am really not sure what the problem could be, all other Unity games work for me. I use Windows 7 but hope that's not a problem. If you guys could make a Linux build I could maybe try it on Linux.
@OccultOne Thank you guys! The x64 version worked for me on windows 7!
Here's my review:
The mood of this game is so so good. The sound design and art work together so good! Most of the people are praising the graphics already, so I will just say that the sound design is a huge part too, and done so well. It really feels like you are in the water. You can knock yourself into the glass, desperately trying to escape, without a chance and the sound design makes it feel so real.
Being able to escape from the net forever (or atleast for a pretty long time, like I did) felt a bit goofy, these guys aren't too good at catching fish are they :D. Overall, I really loved this game!
@OccultOne I have also just now tried the Linux version and it works as well as the Windows version (tried it on Mint, so it probably works on Ubuntu and other Ubuntu derivates too). Thank you guys.
@Useless Thank you! Hahaha, nice! I knew someone would recognize my inspiration!
Awesome artstyle, sound design, music and mechanics! Loved it! Good job guys, enjoyed watching the streams too!
This is a pretty cool idea, when I finally started being able to do both things at once it became very satisfying, but I was still pretty bad :D. Nice job with the game!
Oh man I love minesweeper so much! So yeah, I loved this game! The visuals are nice, the sounds are pleasing, everything is polished. Good job!
Yeah also it's cool that I am not the only one who made a minesweeper game :D.
Here's my score from my second try, I think I could get a much better score and I think I might even try, considering this game is so fun.
gold and minesweeper.png
Pretty cool design! I was really suprised how many diffirent powers were there, considering it's a LD game. Took me a while to beat the boss, because I am bad but I have done it! Nice job.
That was pretty fun, nice implementation, it works really well. I thought I was pretty good at Touhou, but I wasnt too good at this :D. I think you could do more with this game, the idea actually works really good so if you want you could finish the game!
I loved the artstyle. Sadly I got stuck on 9 cards. I couldn't find the rare card for Urgel. Nice game though!
The mouse sensitivity was way too high for me. When I tried to play it I got overwhelmed really fast, but that was probably just because I was bad (cause the mouse sensitivity, and also because I am bad at video games). The graphics look pretty cool!
Wow I loved this so much! Playing this for the first time and figuring it out was so cool. I killed a ton of enemies and got to the exit but it was green and I didn't know I need to kill all the enemies. After not knowing what to do I went to look at the tutorial and debug mode. Seeing how the level really looks was pretty wild haha.
This is 100% the most original and innovative game in this LD! Great job!
That was pretty fun, maybe too easy - bullet hell games typically have you have much less hp. As others said keyboard shortcuts would make it much quicker to play, and thus feel much better. I love bullet hell games so this was pretty cool!
That was a pretty fun game! Like others said having production time for the factories would make it a bit more interesting. Creating like 3 robots every time was really fun :D. I loved the artstyle.
That was really fun, I won every level, the hardest one might have been the first level :D. Awesome music too! I wish the player was more than just a box, but otherwise I really like how some of the levels look. Good job!
I won everything! The art is awesome! I think you should write the controls somewhere, because I needed to hit buttons randomly to figure out how to switch the potions. Nice job overall.
Hahaha, this was really cool and funny. The poison was so so annoying for me, cause I was always typing quite quickly so the almost always got me in the beginning.
The art looks really nice, the game is really really short and I am not sure if I see bullet hell or rpg elements. The game looks really nice and polished though!
The game looks really good considering you didn't use a engine (by the way, I really think it's cool when people don't use engines, but it really makes it much easier to make a game in 48 hours (by the way my game is created in pure html5 canvas using dart without any frameworks even :D)).
I loved the artstyle and the music. The gameplay is not very deep but it doesn't matter too much, this is LD! Good job!
That was really fun! Awesome job creating this without an engine, I know how hard can that be in the timeframe of LD.
This is a pretty cool idea! The combination of sprites and 3d buildings looks really cool. You can sometimes get the ball stuck in a wall or in a unreachable location, but bugs can't be prevented in ld games. Great job.
That was really fun and also really hard. I am not very good at it :D, my best score was 7249. I like that you can unlock new tracks.
Pretty cool! Not sure if there's a way that I missed to do it but it would be useful to have a volume slider since the different stations had pretty different volumes while clicking thru them :D.
The art is so so pretty! Love the vibes and atmosphere. As a small nitpick, it would have been cool if during the text parts the text didn't break as the text came in. Also the ships have some wicked turning abilities being able to instantly turn like that :D. Those are just dumb nitpicks tho, I really liked the game, good job!
Hold on this is absolute kino! The music and the visuals are so good and the gameplay is so smart and cool!
I didn't fully understand why I kept getting some of the same "signal" puzzle rooms over and over, at one point it was a bit annoying since they just slowed me down and I had enough without them, but at the same time I needed to clear them to unlock the last programs. Also at one point I had so much stuff in my inventory that the inventory was showing up over my character stats. But both of these are very minor with how good the game was. I really really liked this game. Probably my favorite game I played this LD.
I think you should basically just add some screenshots to the ldjam page so more people will want to try this, the game itself is amazing, people just might not know it from a page which has just a few lines of text and nothing else. I am really happy I tried the game anyways! Snímek obrazovky 2026-05-03 233600.png
Pretty fun game! The art looks really nice! The gameplay is basically a twist on asteroids, but that's good -- it's a classic for a reason, it's always fun to shoot some things with a spaceship :D. The balance seemed a bit off after a few of the upgrades because I was regenerating more health than the enemies could deal, so it could use some balancing and or more scaling on the enemies but that's fine!
The game itself really is minimalistic, but it is really nicely polished. Everything works together to make a really nicely consistent retro experience. Even this page itself looks really nice with the fake manual pages! dragonia.png
Really well made -- good tutorial, the graphics are minimalistic but still look good and do the job perfectly, and the voice over is super good! When the map size expands all the way to switch H it really gets absolutely crazy haha.
Wicked music! For some reason I was terrible at hitting the beat, even after I turned it to easy difficulty, but I think that's just a me problem -- guess I am just beat deaf :D. But I pushed through and the game was very fun!
What a funny concept. I love jumping being used as the signal to attract everyone, tho at least in gw2 which is my mmo of choice I don't think it'd work anywhere as close this well lol.
That was actually super cool! I love the art style so much -- anytime people use unique art styles of any sort I am immediately much more interested in a game. The gameplay was actually pretty good too, I liked how shooting felt, with the enemies getting "stunned" for a pretty long time from the shots, it felt like the shooting has pretty good weight. aaaaaac.png
Extremely nicely polished! Super well done with the art and SFX, feels like it's a fully finished game. The typing sounds on the terminal especially sound incredible. It took me quite a bit to figure out which id the first door I want to go through has, but I figured it out and after that the rest was smooth sailing. Really enjoyed this!
"What in tarnation do you want me to do? I don't understand." x1000
Actually a really funny concept, it's so absurd. But playing it is so difficult! Honestly this is the hardest videogame I played in my life! :D
That was actually super wicked! I love the collage artstyle.
The ending really makes you think fr fr.
