Fun and simple little game. It was tricky figuring out how the emotions would bounce, I guess I'm too used to rectangular boundaries! Could use some music, but for a first compo it's a great submission! Congrats!

@armytag I appreciate you trying it out! There it background music... but I think I just made it way too quiet. I'm always worried that if someone has their speakers on blast that I'll wake the whole house with loud audio :)
Nice game! It is basically like circular Breakout - pretty cool - I have never seen anything like this before! One tiny piece of feedback, as I am colorblind it was quite hard for me to tell the yellow and green barriers apart - as you already have the emotion symbols on the balls, maybe you could have also added them next to the barrier. Still, it wasn't much of a problem as I could always just try both barriers when I wasn't sure :).
Nice quick casual game, I am very bad at reading the bounce directions but I found out that you could cheese it by squeezing the emotions to the side and sending them sliding around the boundary. Overall a fun quick game
The game is short but feels polished, I didn't encounter any bugs while playing. Nice job!
Fun and simple. I quite liked the SFX.
I was confused about controls at first but read through your description again to figure it out. Perhaps would be nice to see how different emotions could effect others, but I did like the safeness of not getting hurt and being able to take the time to sort the bouncing emotions. Keep up the good work!
Oh yeah, my tip for gimp is to go into prefs and set your own hotkeys, that speeds things up a lot, especially hot keys for setting a grid and what you use most (ex. q=brush w= pencil e= eraser r=rect select) There's also somethings like increase/decrease brush size that are hotkey-able but aren't normally hotkeyed.
Smooth movement for the players and the bouncing balls, your TODO sounds like improvements that would make the game more interesting to replay, so good luck with that! Good job!
It's a nice simple distraction for the mind indeed. The game is easy to understand and with added difficulty I could see people spending a good amount of time with it. The controls may not have been the most straight forward at first but I didn't even need to know all of them in order to complete a game level.
Nice simple game and well executed! Was easy to get into and there's definitely a skill curve, it was actually tough to get the balls to move how you wanted. But I got quite lucky a lot of times by balls randomly bouncing off the back of the brain into their zone. Overall a quite polished game - clean graphics, ui, fun sfx and good music, it's just that there's not much gameplay - and you probably know that already judging by your todo list (but it's a 48hr game jam ofc that's to be expected). The game has a lot of potential and if you implement the things on your TODO it will be great! :D
nice job, seem a little borikng ,maybe you need more time to add some audios in this game
Control system far too hard. It left me with a sense of not being in control. I'd suggest being able to move the brain around - effectively like a bat that you can hit the emotions with. That said, this is a neat idea for a physics based game. Hopefully the next version will take these suggestions on board!
A simple idea well executed. I appreciate that getting an emotion into the wrong corner just doesn't count, because otherwise this would be a lot harder. The music is nice and the sound effects are awesome. I think you can be proud of what you have accomplished and the fact that you have a clear list of todo's seems to show that you did okay in scoping, since you did end up with a complete game loop and a fully playable game. So well done!
Nice compo! My best is 32 seconds :) Interesting gameplay.
Had a bug where one of the emotions flew out. It happened only once though. Capture.PNG
Cool compo game, it's fun and work well. Good job !
I like the game, my best time is 28.6 seconds! It's touch to go real fast, but it's a pretty fun game to try speedrunning. Nice work on the voice acting too! cool game.
